I finished the game with Sindeok. I wanted to try taking the Camarilla ending, but it didn't work. I must have said the wrong thing to the cabbie? Instead in the final confrontation with Lacroix I only ended up with the Independent, Anarch, or open the sarcophagus for yourself endings to choose from.

So I rolled Tanit, a Brujah toon. Wow, Potence is awesome! Bam! It is like being a superhero.

I also did not realize that with a high enough Persuasion, you can use the high class guy with the broken down car as a blood doll. I thought you could only do that as a Ventrue or Malkavian with Dominate.

You finished the game again!?!? Wow!! I'm impressed! I just finished the museum quest and found out someone stole the sarcophagus.

Oh and we have new gameplay for the second game.

The new trailer looks neat. I am guessing the blood vision thing might be what using Auspex looks like? The flock of ravens (or was it bats) looks good too, I am guessing that is the Gangrel power. The new fighting animations look really good too.

The jungle sounds, and looks, like a cool place to explore. Loved that shot of scaling that wall. I hope we can actually do that in the game.

Watching darkchiron's LP of the game again. I like parts of the game but I could never play it a sixth time. Too many parts I don't enjoy

That being said.... ugh... Does anyone know of an update to make the Malk dialogue font normal looking? I simply hate that weird comic sans one where every letter is tilted opposite to the one next to it. Makes it so hard to read. I saw darkchiron having it look normal in his playthrough so I know it exists, just don't know what patch.

I'm half-and-half here really. I like building my character but I am so tired of the quests and the dialogues. Like I said, I like certain parts of the game but I hate the other ones.

Khajiit wouldn’t say “boring”. The first couple of times it’s fine. Places like the warrens do get tedious after the first couple of playthroughs though.

You can save her if you send her away before a certain point, but I think if you do that you can’t get the riot gear. Might be wrong about that though.

Probably going to do Griffith Park tonight after work. One of my favorite sections of the game! I remember the first time I went through there was terrifying!

I had read ahead, so I sent away Heather the one time I had her as a ghoul. I think I used a cheat code to get the riot gear, and then did not like how it looked, so never used it.

I have been thinking of doing the game again with January as a Brujah.

Come to think of it, I don’t think Brigitte has ever even tried on the riot gear, lol. She went through most of Hallowbrook in her starting outfit, only changing to the leather clothes (police outfit) for the final fight with Andrei. I might have her wear the riot gear during the upcoming boss fights. We are siding with the Anarchs so we will have to fight both the Kuei-Jin and the Camarilla.

If and when I do play January, she will probably be Anarch all the way.

Lol, on my first playthrough back in the ‘00s, I chose to side with the Kuei-Jin. What a mistake that was!

Lol, no killing... she just straps you down to the sarcophagus and dumps you in the ocean! It was hilarious!

I just read that there are key bindings for an “unbound camera”! I’m going to have to check this out for sure!

I have never heard anyone say they actually like Griffith Park. Usually when mentioning it you're met with a loud UUUUUGGGGHHHHH while they bury their face in their hands. This one included

Lol, it’s just so scary! Once you figured it out though it wasn’t too bad.

Also, apparently the info I read on unbound camera controls was incorrect (for my GOG version anyway), but I am tinkering with a way to get an unbound camera using the config files. It uses the number pad to rotate the camera but since I don’t have a keyboard with a number pad I’m having to figure out how to tweak the commands to fit my keyboard.

I tried to use Obfuscate but that didn't work


Only way I ever managed to beat that place was to wait by the tram and get the werewolf to glitch so he couldn't get me.

Got it! I simply altered the commands to use my directional arrows that I don't use to turn the camera. Now I can get some nice frontal pics of my characters!

Just copy and paste whichever you want to use into the autoexec.cfg file located in the VTMB folder (this may vary depending on what version you have. For example, autoexec.cfg was located in GOGgames/VTMB/Unofficial patch/cfg for my game). For good measure, I also put it in config.cfg and default.cfg, and deleted entries that had the keys I wanted to use assigned to something else. Now if I could just figure out how to move the camera up and down.

Neat. I'll probably try this the next time I play Vampire.

Brigitte traveled to Griffith Park to tell Nines about the proposed alliance between the Anarchs and the Camarilla against the Kuei-Jin. Upon arrival however, a large fire was set in the park, designed to draw out werewolves to kill Nines and Brigitte. A harrowing adventure ensued...

Nines became really nervous during their conversation. Something wasn't right and he feared a werewolf attack was imminent due to the fire. As he ran back to the lift, he was pounced on by a werewolf!

Brigitte managed to evade the werewolf's attentions and was able to get it caught in the observatory's telescope doors were it was crushed to death.

Lol, I get an amusing mental image of Nines carrying this enormous werewolf head all the way from Griffith Park to Hollywood. “Relax folks. It’s just a costume.” *Masquerade Violation*

In the Werewolf tabletop RPG, the world magically rearranged itself so mortals would never *see* werewolves. So they never have to worry about the Masquerade. For example, if someone went into full werewolf form in the middle of a shopping mall and killed a hundred people, all anyone would see or remember was that a terrorist or something similar killed them all. Not a werewolf. I always thought that was really lazy however.

Yeah I don’t like that either. Does it explain what is doing it, or is the Masquerade itself doing it?

There was a name for it. I think it was called The Veil, or something like that. It was a magical force omnipresent in the world that basically obfuscated mortal's perceptions, so they would not remember werewolves. No, I think it is called Delerium. Though the two terms see to be used interchangeably.

While it’s still a bit too convenient for my lycan(), it’s kinda neat in that it sounds similar to repressed memories from PTSD.
