Sorry, Khajiit has been mucking around in Fallout3 working on a new character. Brigitte has made some progress since her last report so perhaps late tomorrow we will have something for you.

Well, in anticipation here's ten things you may have missed in the game!

Ok so Brigitte has been one busy undead lady. She found out that Barabus, the Nosferatu spy, was being held in the the Fu Syndicate building by a man named simply as “The Mandarin”. After being trapped and forced to navigate a gauntlet of deadly experiments in the labs at the Fu Syndicate, Brigitte killed The Mandarin and released Barabus from his cell. Having done that, Gary called on a pay phone outside the Syndicate putting her on the trail of the Ankaran Sarcophagus, which is supposedly at the Giovanni mansion.

Before heading off to the mansion, Brigitte went shopping around various locations in LA for ammo and discovered a young Japanese girl named Yukie hanging out in the noodle shop in Chinatown. Turned out she was hunting a demon called a Hengeyokai living in human form there in Chinatown, but lost his trail. Brigitte offered to help, because she’s easily distracted, and went to talk to Ming Xiao to see if she knew anything about this demon. Ming Xiao, always so helpful, gave Brigitte not only a name for this demon (Zygaena), but also its location (The Red Dragon restaurant).

Armed with that information, Brigitte headed down to the Red Dragon and met with a man who claimed Zygaena was a business associate of his and he said he would arrange a meeting with Zygaena at his warehouse at the fish market. Brigitte went back to Yukie and told her what she learned, and since Brigitte was curious about this demon, she decided to help Yukie kill it. The pair met up at the fish market warehouse and went in. Inside, the man from the Red Dragon stepped out of the shadows, laughing, and then changed into a large humanoid hammerhead shark creature. It was a tough fight, but the hunters prevailed and another demon soul was sent screaming to hell.

After the battle, Brigitte parted ways with Yukie and headed off to the Giovanni mansion. The yellow cab pulled up the driveway of the mansion, where apparently there was a party going on. Some the guests could be seen mingling out front by a big fountain. Brigitte stepped out of the cab and prepared for whatever the night would bring. It was party time...

It’s from a mod that changes the appearance of all female Malkavian clothing/armors, some being changed more drastically than others. The outfit she’s wearing here is the basic clothing you get at the very start of the game.Here is the original outfit the outfit in the pics replaced. It wasn’t to Khajiit’s liking, and so, had to go.

Exactly!!! It’s ridiculous, which is pretty much what the Malkavian sense of fashion is all about (the males are really bad too), but still.

Khajiit thought it was dumb that Brigitte pretty much knew the guy in the Red Dragon is the Hengeyōkai because of the “smells like fish” comments she kept making, yet they make such an exposition out of showing the guy turning into the creature.

Well, she is Malkavian after all so she would have insight. Guess that reveal works better with the other clans. And man, that shark is a tough-un!

Yeah he got Yukie down into red numbers while Brigitte was pumping Jaeger shells into him. She survived though so all’s we’ll that ends well.

First clan has been revealed as Thin-bloods. Official video for them is out! I know we’re getting another clan reveal tomorrow. I’m betting tomorrow is Toreador and next week Ventrue(woot!) if they’re going by order on the artwork for each clan page.

Poor thin-bloods, though. No matter if in ES universe or World of Darkness, they’re always looked down upon by their vampire superiors.

Are Thin Bloods considered a clan? Khajiit read an article in PCGamer magazine at the the local bookstore/coffee shop that said besides starting as a Thin Blood, only 5 clans will be playable. The devs supposedly didn’t reveal which 5 clans those would be. The journalist guessed those would be Brujah, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Tremere, and Ventrue. Khajiit thought that makes sense, though he hates for any of the clans from the original to be left out. Someone over at Beth.net said the devs were planning on releasing other clans in free updates, but this one cannot verify that due to lack of source.

According to the website, they’re labeled as a clan so I’m guessing they are? And that’s right, we get to join clans later in the game but how? I’m not sure. Since lorewise, thin-bloods aren’t really able to join clans unless they perform a ability that they take all of that vampires power. I think it’s called diablerie or something. It’s an illegal act in the vampiric community.

Oh I think Tremere are in. Developers said if people wanted to play an original mage-like character there’s a clan for that. And on the official website each clan icon had a different picture that matches the nature of said clan. Case in point, a ritualistic room with pentagrams on the ground. They also said of players just wanted to punch things, there’s a clan for that, too. I’m thinking Brujah? The anarchists, right?

They said they are indeed going to release more clans. We also have a werewolf-centric expansion/dlc coming named “Season of the Wolf.”

I’m excited! I think we get more news today!

Sorry this update is so light, we spent a lot of time playing through the mission and then restarting.


Brigitte walked away from the cab and approached a couple having a conversation in front of a fountain. The female, Maria, was obviously drunk and the male, Victor, was clearly annoyed with her. Figuring that Maria would be easier to influence, Brigitte started a conversation with her. She learned from Maria’s slurring words that the party was invitation only and so Brigitte used her powers of dementation to make Maria give up her invitation, giving Brigitte access to the party inside the mansion. After sniffing around some of the other guests outside, Brigitte stepped up to the bouncer at the door and showed him the invitation. He told her to enjoy herself and with that, Brigitte entered the mansion...

It was actually pretty easy up until the Chang Brothers. Brigitte plowed through Bruno and the zombies no problem.

Khajiit believes so, but is not sure why. Brigitte was fooling around with her mind making her think she was on something that was spinning and then after she got the invitation from her and ended the conversation, Maria started puking up red stuff. Khajiit just pretends it’s all the red wine she had been drinking.

Tremere have been confirmed!

Yep! They leaked it last night and it was officially confirmed today.

So that’s three clans confirmed:

Thinblood, Brujah and Tremere. Fingers crossed for Ventrue next week!

I don't see how you can do VtM without Ventrue. I expect Gangrel, Malkavian, and Nosferatu as well. With Tremere and Brujah, that's really the core clans.

There better be Ventrue! They could probably just do Toreador for the folks who like charming silver tongued devil types but Khajiit would rather see Ventrue!

Oh it’s the animation that the Tremere power Blood Purge uses. Why making a human think they are on something that is spinning round and round causes them to vomit up blood is beyond Khajiit’s understanding.
