the old nord ladies are the funniest. My favorite is the one in the fort in whiterun

Ravos was in riften sometime during his search for aetherium shards and decided to look around the town...
He went into Haelgas bunkhouse because I realised I had never been in there with any character. He was quite shocked to find Haelgas little 'shrine' to dibella. The letters were particularly interesting...
That's probably old news to some of you, but it surprised me

It's actually been awhile since I've been to the Bunkhouse, so I've forgotten all about the shrine.
Helga's Bunkhouse is a good place to stay (for RP purposes) for characters that are shady and don't want to stay in the stupid Bee 'n' Barb, but don't want to go all the way to the Ratway. I have a vampire character (currently inactive) who would slink off to one of the Bunkhouse's quieter areas. My vamp would then turn into vapor during the day (me pressing wait button) and would solidify again at night.

So, I restarted Kayla's game and at the time, she was a level 9.
She ran into a single frost troll and panicked since all she has is one sword, one bow, and a fire spell. She tried running, but when she looked back, she ran into a tree and stalled. Well, she faced the troll and once it got down to almost no life, and it knelt and put its hand up for mercy like the humans do.

I (or rather my Orc character) was walking past one of the giant camps on the central tundra, when one of the mammoths decided to try levitating. It rose vertically about ten times its own height, and then apparently decided it couldn't do it after all and fell to its death. None of the giants, or the other mammoths, took any notice, so apparently it happens all the time.

Why do I never have Fraps started when that happens?

Flames spell plus Frostfall lets you light existing campfires or ones that you build from firewood. You can also use a torch to start them with Frostfall. Jensa and Stenvar were walking Haming and Froki to their new house in Helgen (Helgen Reborn) and got very cold on the way through Haemar's Shame. Jensa normally would have used a torch but she was showing off a little for the kid, so the comment was extra appropriate!

Genevieve was doing the Potema catacombs crawl with Mjoll, and there's a small room just before the boss encounter that's full of draugr and other dead bodies. The entire floor of the room is just covered in corpses. Some of them are resurrected by Potema to slow you down.
After we've sorted them out Mjoll turns to Gen and says "There could be Draugr about, I can smell the decay in the air." She hasn't said that all the way through the dungeon, but now we're knee-deep in them, she notices.

We can build a campfire from firewood?

Mycharonna (like most traditional vampires) sleeps during the day. She did so at Robber's Gorge recently: this is the bandit campsite somewhat south of Dragon Bridge where they've got a boulder trap over the road. Anyways, she went to sleep in the bed which is located in the Ringleader's cabin.
When she woke up, everything seemed normal, but after strolling out of the cabin itself, an Imperial soldier comes
bolting from behind my vamp. He was running so fast, it was comical. Never seen anything like that before. It's as if he had gotten separated from the rest of his group after getting curious about Robber's Gorge. Either he found Mycharonna sleeping (assuming she's dead like the rest of RG's former inhabitants) or he missed her; either way, he must have been surprised to find he was not alone.

Persephone just visited the Kjenstag Ruins for the first time. I was surprised to see a ghost come running out. Naturally Persephone was intrigued by another creature of the night, so she followed him across the swamp. He led her to a little tomb that two bandits had opened up. Persephone tried to talk to him, but she was shy, and just disappeared. The bandits were more lively though. At least for a little while...

I had another new thing tonight. Whilst Persephone and Serana were walking near Windward Ruins I noticed figures running in the distance. Closing in, I found it was two vampires chasing a third person, with the skeevers from the ruins joining in for shits and giggles. After smiting the vampires, the third person kept running, skeevers in hot pursuit! So after killing them too, he finally settled down.
It turns out he was a Dawnguard member! Novice Hakar or something like that. He said he couldn't take being in the Dawnguard, and dumped his armor and some other things. Among them was a key for a Dawnguard Cache. I found some of the caches before when playing Helregin, but never when playing a member of the Dawnguard. So I will be on the lookout for them now.

Valdi was visiting Gjukar’s Monument. Just as she approached the ghostly Ruki they were attacked by vampires. (Valdi tends to push her luck and stay out long after dark.) Though it was pitch black it was easy to see what Ruki was doing because she glows. She charged into battle wielding an iron sword! I have to guess that she picked up the one on the monument. Then afterward the only way Valdi knew it was over was when Ruki said in her trembley ghost voice, “Such an abrupt end to our game.”

I guess she’s a true Nord!

That is awesome. It reminds me of just a few days ago when my latest character Arduina got into a fight with the bandits who are encamped by the road south of the Guardian Stones. She had just met Talsgar the Wanderer a few minutes before, and paid him to sing a song for her. While she was getting into it with the bandits, he casts an oakflesh spell on himself, draws his iron sword, and charges in to help. When it was all over he says:
"The life of adventure and song is the life for us, eh friend?"

Acadian: Yes playing tag is fun. And very unexpected, too.

They also play Hide 'n' Seek with us if we let 'em.
And as usual, certain characters are more apt to play than others. One of Lord Haaf-Mersey's favorite things to do after returning to his home (Lakeview Manor) was start a game of hide 'n' seek outdoors with Lucia. And then simply go inside. Lucia would go hide somwhere, while LHM would walk into his home. After some time, Lucia would glumly come back inside and make some off-color comment!

Arduina is an Illusionist/Archer. She tends to practice by casting a Calm spell on animals and people. There have a been a few guards who have objected by saying "Go cast your fancy magic someplace else." But until today no one has attacked her. She was on the road and came across the couple going to the wedding of Vittoria Vici. Arduina Calmed their Imperial guard, and he instantly drew his sword and attacked! So she tried Calming him again (it seemed like the way to get someone to stop attacking!), and of course it didn't do anything. I was thinking that I'd have to kill the lout and get a bounty, but thankfully after lowering her arms, the guard accepted her 'surrender'.

So I wonder if there's some disposition factor that makes a difference at moments like these when angered foes suddenly stop being angry for no apparent reason.
