Daggerfall is now available for download free from the main site to celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls series.

I was aware of the basic mechanics of the story of Daggerfall prior to writing Sethyas, so this is not a recent development, Lysander Velas is the father of Sethyas and Setsuna Velas, a father they never knew. If you've been paying attention in my story, it is intimated that Barenziah knew him. Thats because he performed odd quests for her, a la Daggerfall.

As to who the mother is, and why isnt Lysander around now, I will say that the first is part of the larger story the second is hard to explain if you dont know what a dragon break is.

And can you believe Minque wanted to make that Murder Suspect in the council club his dad? XD

He looks like the serious type. I like him. And it's too bad what happened to him. Maybe things could have gone different between Sethyas and his sister if daddy was still around.

I also see that you have an Ebony dagger. Heh, that weapon is so much better than all the other options in character generation. In fact, it's so good I can never resist the temptation to get one myself, even if I never use it.

So yeah, I've been doing some Daggerfalling myself. Now unlike yours, I think that my characters are a lot more min-max gamebreakers. What can I say, I love to break all resemblance of balance whenever provided the opportunity.

First up, Root Lich-Bane. Aspirant in the order of the Dragon, owner of a mismatched set of armour, a totally awesome helmet and wannabe zombie-slayer. (hasn't run into any rotting corpses that walk, though)

The downside? His background is the generic "you grew up in some village and for better or for worse, an uneasy alliance grew with the other villagers and you helped some stupid brat hide in a cellar."


And then, just for a change of pace, I decided to play a female character for once...joining the endless hordes who play females in rpgs just so they can strip them of their clothes. Except that I hide mine beneath a red robe all day cause seriously, no one cares about nudity anyway and armour is much better if you like to live long. And look at it this way. It's red, so I don't need to wash out all the blood stains cause no ones notices the difference. How convenient!

So meet Meszarha. The name pretty much says what she does, though at the same time it is an understatement. Brawler doesn't exactly evoke a feeling of competence. Maybe Fists of Doom would have been more appropriate. Anyway, her background is as the foster child of some forest guard/badass, which is orders of magnitudes better than Root's.

Umm yeah, I guess you can see what her dump stats are. Also, unlike Morrowind and Oblivion where people often complained about how weak hand-to-hand is, in Daggerfall your fists and feet are GOD! I mean sure, a big sword/axe/hammer will do more damage per hit, but can you hit four times each second with one? When your speed hits meteoric, you just need to wave your mouse in circles and watch things die.

And then I accidentally caught a nasty case of the furry flu.

Ok, now this is just plain unfair for all those poor punching bags.

Blackie!! Jeez, I never played Daggerfall...I didn't know of Lysander at all...hehehehe so can you blame me for thinking Sethyas was related to that assassinVelas in balmora???

Aaaanyway, do you plan to reveal something about the mother of Seth and Suna? I really would just LOVE it...you know the presence or absence of a mother greatly affect people..


And what exactly had Lysander going on with Barenziah????

Thanks Minque! Her name was actually a typo, but by the time I finished the first game I was in love with her as Maxical and kept the name for all her successive games...including when she made a trip into the post apocolyptic future in Fallout 3.

Oh hooray. All this time editing exactly the worng .ini file and only now do we see Ra'jirra in all his glory. After cycling the palette several times to wash out the nighteye replacer shader. (It cycles RGB to BRG I think.)

That is a beautiful sword she has though. What mod is that from? I also like how you gave her regular hair. The default hairstyles the Khajiit have are just awful.

My first thought is Adonnay's Elven Weaponry, but I might be mistaken. I do know that those swords have been integrated into OOO, however.

If you are a blade-centric character (gazes at Maxical) you might want to give this mod a try. The models are fantastic!

I hated the default hair as well. I think I am using Ren's #4 style in 'copper' for Aravi. It came in Cosmic Compilation Revived Omod.

The sword is part of Real Swords Khajiit mod. I highly recommend the Real Sword mods because the weapon models are excellent. The author's original intention was to make a unique weapons pack for every race, but there are not any for Dark Elves or High Elves and the author has been inactive for a few years.

I figured I would post a shot of Talendor leaving Honditar's house, since my avatar is the only view of him to date. Perhaps he will look a little less like Kirk Douglas. I don't have all of the wonderful mods that others do, and Talendor is still pretty new to Tamriel, so he doesn't have anything real fancy...yet.

By popular request of one person (such demand I have never seen before!!! ), here is the hero of my little tale.

Please excuse the clothing, my game has progressed a lot further than the story at this point. He's around level 22 about now and has just broken 100 hours... but now I have a new load order and a new character (take a wild guess who) going, so that should give me some time get the writing caught up. You know, I have to say, I think I'm getting rather good at making male faces. I'm still terrible at females, though....

@SubRosa: As you can see, his face has received some revision. Still looks a bit hobbit-ish, but I like this new darker, less innocent look I've found for him. I also think he looks a bit more masculine, as well. I know you've requested his face a long while back, so if you want the updated version, send me a PM.

Oh, and if anyone is wondering, the hilt visible is from an Ayleid Meteoric Iron shortsword added by OOO.

I have been playing Fallout 3 again for a while. I just started a new character a few days ago, Tomoe Gozen. Here she is playing with a gun. But those are not her weapons of choice, rather just toys. She is really a sword fighter. I made a little mod to create a copy of the samurai armor, helmet, and katana from Mothership Zeta and put them in the Museum of Technology. Tomoe just finally got to them, and loves them both. She has named her katana Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, after the sword of legend (she was wearing Talon Company armor and a shiskebab earlier).

She is gorgeous !!! I haven't broken down and purchased Fallout 3 for the PC yet (I have it on the 360) - but you make it very tempting !! I love the Samurai's armor, it is one of the reason's I'm stuck in MZ. Can't pass the final battle without him, lol. I finally chucked the game into the cabinet and pulled out Oblivion again, which is how I came to be on the forums two years ago, lol.

That is certainly one of the better looking dudes I've seen in Oblivion.

I am still playing Tomoe in FO3, and I have taken a few interesting pics in the last few weeks.

A FO3 classic: Died on the toilet. Naturally there was scrap metal in the basin underneath him.

More than any other critter in FO3, Glowing Ones scare the crap out of me.

My current character Boudica returns from The Pitt. The skull fragments hanging in mid-air are from a raider whose head she blew off.

I love the way she's looking at it with what I can only describe as a "Double-you tee eff" expression!

That happened to me once on my Xbox. It had me laughing for quite a while

I would never have known that was a skull fragment in the background if it wasn't for the teeth, ROFL !! Boudica is beautiful, I really need to get Fallout 3 for the PC !! What a huge diff in the character's appearance!

May be wondering why hes carrying around an Axe? If you didnt carry an Axe in the Frozen North, you were as good as dead. You need tools to survive in harsh conditions, especially if your not used to it.

Wonder how you came to be in Solsteim again Uncle Seth, did Mother send you to keep tabs on me again? And if an ax is so important why didn't you teach me how to use one? Or at least tell me I needed one if I was going to be traipsing around this wasteland of forest and snow!
