I go on a lot of camping trips so I've ended up with a snake in my sleeping bag more than once.

YES, it happens all the time when you camp in the mountains - especially if you camp near the water (like most people do)! I love camping, but learning about snakes doing that ended my sleeping under the stars in a sleeping bag!

It's the spiders that terrify me. I can't handle them. I cringe at the thought of a spider in the house.

Don't even bring up spiders, I'll think I feel them crawling on me - URK!

Oh my goodness, the snake story!! mALX I would have been so tempted to leave a rubber snake in the bathtub for you. I wouldn’t though. One of my old roommates has a snake scare, so I know it can be serious. We had some problems when we went to Mexico for spring break. At one point we were stuck between the ocean, rocks, and two snakes. That was the last time she came with me when I went for a walk!

Also we were driving and had to stop with some other cars because there was a big “branch” lying across most of the road. Yeah, they didn’t have any trees around there. (We could see the jungle from where we were, but that branch would have had a long slither to get onto the road.) Luckily she was not the smartest blonde in the car. My other roommate distracted her while we went around it. That one even gave me a little shiver.

Both my sons think leaving rubber snakes and spiders around to scare me is a funny joke too, lol. The colored snakes weren't bad because I knew there wouldn't be any rare poisonous snakes in my house, but the rubber spider on my keyboard or dropping down when I open the refrigerator door was another story, lol.

Wrothken, I missed your birthday too! Hope it was a great one, or that you at least got leftover cake from Jacki's birthday !!! (one for you in case you didn't).

I have made myself pee a little by slipping a fake spider into the middle of tissue box, forgetting all about it, and then being the poor fool who whips up a tissue to find the spider sitting there. Works great with those spider rings you get at Halloween, because they are very flat but still look real. Just clip off the ring part. And REMEMBER that you did it!

You completely deserve that. SPIDERS of all things.

I didn’t think I’d get any sympathy from you, KC! I wish I still had my spider trick box so I could take a video of it. It’s a cute little wooden box with a sliding lid that people just can’t resist peeking into. When you slip the lid back it’s rigged for a big fat rubber spider to pop out and whack right where your finger is on the knob. Just put it out at a party and wait for the screams.

SPEW! Between this and the kleenex box spiders my once cleaned monitor is ruined!
