Everyone was merrily talking, sharing stories, and laughing when it happened. Something Megil had tried his best avoid, happened.
the warning horns that had been built into the halls of justice began to send otu a loud monotonous sound. It was a preliminary warning system, that all the citizens knew existed. and when they heard it, they did as was instructed, they rushed home and locked their doors.
Megil jumped up from his seat, nearly knocking the table over,
"What the hell, forgive me anthanes, and ryaka but You must be leaving now, it isn't safe any more. But do come and visit another day, I'll send word to Ald'rhun when the city is safe."
Darus had jumped back to as the horns blew.
"Let's go" Megil said, his heart beating fast, the streets where nearly deserted, a good sign that the warning system had done it's job. Ordinators patrolling the streets
Megil began to run towards the hall of justice, already guards stood infront of the doors, blocking anyone from entering, when they saw megil they moved out of the way.
A distressed looking mage, the young woman who had been down in the sewers earlier stood by the door, her skin as white as the finest marble. she looked at Megil and immediatly began spouting what had happened.
"Sir, the man....the man in the sewers sir... he kiled all the guards sir, he dismboweled them, made a bloody pool out of the prison cell"
Megil glared at her, how could this happen, no one had ever beena ble to break free from the cuffs and the band. He began marching towards the prison, part of the undercity, he had to see this for himself.

"Well I wasn't." Sel said, At least I wasn't just then... he thought.
"Those names sound a little familiar." Sel said to the little girl, smiling.
OOC: don't ask about the thought he had - it would ruin the surprise in the fanfic.

Serene then handed Leni over to Jonacin, usually he was the one she wanted to tuck her in
"Nighty my little princess" she said to the child
Kyara"What is happening?" the young girl did not understand all the fuzz........she just followed Anthanes....

Endris walked out of the alchemy shop with a poutch of bolts for his crossbow. Poisoned bolts to be exact, fifteen of them. The poison was an extremely high grade, said to be able to kill a normal man in under a minute. Considering Serene was...well powerful and skilled with magic her body would probably be able to fend off the poison--for a time. After the bolt penetrated the skin, Endris gave her two minutes at best.
He stepped into the tavern, bought a Sujamma, and took his post outside of The Rat in the Pot keeping a watchful eye on the manor. Although you wouldn't think it, Endris liked it when jobs got slow lke this. It gave him a break, besides he was taking his time on this one, hoping for a promotion.

"So what has happened for the past...what has it been, four years?"
