Along the side of the road rather close to the Ahemussa Camp, or where it used to be, five Ashlanders were tied to sticks, around them holding weapons to their faces were three Telvanni scouts. Scattered around the road were six bodies, two ashlander, four Telvanni. Among them was the old scout-leader, with his armor covered in tiny icicles that all seemed to go in one direction.
One of the Telvanni, a battlemage with a glass axe, sat there interrogating the leader of the Ashlander group, En'Fel.
"...and it was En'Fel," the Ashlander finished. Even on the stick, which distorted his posture, he stood over the battlemage.
"Fine, kill the girl," the battlemage ordered.
"What the Hell is going on here!" demanded a short, pale looking dunmer (or a tall, dark-skinned imperial, En'Fel hadn't decided)
The battlemage twisted around, as though cut off guard. Both the other Telvanni shifted and held their swords out.
"Mind you're own business, this is an execution of thieves, nothing more," the Battlemage said arrogantly.
En'Fel made eye-contact with the half-breed traveller. He said his next words in utmost seriousness, "Please, cut off his arms but leave him alive, I'll have some questions for him."

Dane arrived at the fort exhausted and panting. It was damp, musty, and had the strong smell of burnt wood.
It doesn't look like we were followed
Dane thought as he walked through the ruin of the old fort. He placed the argonian on the ground and sat down himself. He sat there for a little while trying to catch his breath.
He looked at the uncouncious argonian legionarre.
"Thank your scaly hide for my change of heart..." he said quietly to the uncouncious beast-man.

Isaarin awoke in his chamber. The affects of the skooma were gone but he still had a pleasant feeling. He looked at the scroll of parchment he was holding in his hand before his nap and started reading his own skooma-addled rants.
"Domination?" he said outloud to himself "Even on skooma I amaze myself" he laughed as he rolled up the scroll and put it into his pocket.
Domination is such a wonderful idea!
He thought while beaming happily.
I'll have to address this idea to the council of course, but they're all mine to control one way or another
He stood up and stowed away his skooma pipe back in the false compartment in his drawer. He stretched his arms out and yawned loudly. Naturally he couldn't wear the same clothes he had just been wearing the day before so he changed into a nice red elaborately embroidered cloth outfit and walked outside of his room.
"Guard?" he said to the man at post.
"Yes ser?" the guard replied.
"Make plans for a trip to New Vivec, I must speak to the council" he answered casually
"Yes ser!" the guard replied again
Isaarin strode it his dining room and had a little bit of breakfast before heading onto his silt strider and traveling out to New Vivec again.

after the drinks where served Megil got a bit serious.
"I've been watching you for a while, there's a rather large file on record in regards to your activities. But seeing as how you have done nothing but help the prosperity of New Vivec, I am willing to forgive you of your little secret, and grant you the promise that your crime will never surface in case of an investigation."
After Darus had finished his drink, Megil dropped a few unmarked gold coins on the counter, currency good everywhere in vvardenfell but used only by those who could afford the full value of gold.
"Come Darus, I have to finish some paperwork," he said casually, but once outside whispered to his guard,
"the visions keep getting stronger, I can't ignore them anymore. I had a vision when we encountered Isaarin, we must be very cautious about that man, be on the lookout."

Cal noticed that the man put his hand inside his robe, but Cal couldn't risk to unstrap his sword, because a 16 year old with wielding a very large sword was indeed ackward. At least in these times.
"Good day, mister.", Cal said and smiled. "I have a few questions to you. It'll be quick, I promise." Cal walked up close to the man, and stood face to face. He glanced quickly around him to see if any guards was nearby, there wasn't, and he turned back to the robed man. Cal looked up and down, noticing most details about the man, including the fact that he was gripping his sword. "Oh, I wouldn't do that. There's guard around, you know. People like us have to.. stick together, eh?", Cal said and smiled his cheerful smile again.
Kiln looked around, confused as to if the boy even knew what he was talking about.
Is he with the legion? Nah probably not...what did he mean? He probably mistook me for someone else...or maybe not...He looked down and realised that, while gripping his sword, he'd moved part of the robe aside and made his blade visible.
Quickly, Kiln pushed the robe back over his blade and glared at the man.
"Listen kid, you'd best keep quiet if you know what's good for you." He said trying to cover up his fear of being discovered
After a few moments passed he looked over his shoulder and returned his stare at the boy, he was still afraid the kid would say something to the guards.
"Who are you and what do want from me? Is it money? I'll pay you, just keep quiet, alright?" Kiln offered quietly

Isaarin stepped off the silt strider boarding plank and onto the wonderful architecture of New Vivec. This time his personal bodyguard Yegmaim Gro'Baglar was there to greet him.
"Ah, hello Yegmaim!" Isaarin said happily
"Greetings sir" Yegmaim said gruffly "I trust your trip was a comfortable one?"
"A yes indeed" he laughed "No need to worry so much about me"
"If you insist" Yegmaim said stepping to the side of his employer.
They began walking to the council mansion on the Hlaalu tier (or whatever) and arrived in a timely manner. Isaarin and Yegmaim walked inside the building and headed straight for the council room. Since he sent a summons before leaving everyone should be there.
Isaarin walked into the council room and smiled "Hello everyone!, comfortable?" he said with a large grin. Not actually expecting an answer he took a seat at the large stone table that dominated the small room.
"Now I know what your gonna say but.... what the hell, Let's conquer Vvardenfell!" he said almost conversationally
The councillors were at a loss for words, they stayed silent, confused wether or not this was a joke...
"uhh, sure" "okay" "fine by me" they all intoned after a while.
"Now.... what's your opinion? Anyone have any problems?" he waited for a little while. "Good!" he said enthusiasticly. "So whaddya want to take over first?"

After Megil left found a stool, sat down, and looked over the coins. It seemed that several flashbacks happened. One of the Battle for Cyrodill, another at the time he tried to kill Arcyakt, and the last when he finally found the right path again.
His mind wanted to go back to the fight, but this war that was to errupt wasn't a imperial war anymore, it was a Dunmeri(SP). Best to stay low.

The Redguard was out doing meager errands, but he wouldn't complain. The shop supported him as well and he lived a wonderful, unburderned life. The elder redguard had grown closer to Falx over the last five years, being his only friend in a imperial hating society.

Falx looked up from the stool, "No, none, but I am forgiven of my past.. past.. tresspasses.. Like the mob cares."

OOC: Done with chores, done with classes, and the site is back up so here goes...
The Argonian behind the desk lifted open the heavy iron strongbox. The customer, a burly Imperial in expensive clothing, gave an impressed whistle.
"How much?"
The Argonian hesitated, and gave a sad look at the box.
"Two thousand."
"Two thousand?!" The man sneered. "Your whole shop isn't worth that much!" With that, Val watched the man storm out.
He couldn't be any more wrong. His father's shop, while small, was one of the more reputable establishments in Cyrodiil. Lining the wall behind the desk was an vast assortment of magic staves and other artifacts. Along the left wall was an array of repeating and twin crossbows, as well as plenty of mechanical lockpicks and probes. Against the right wall were finely polished suits of armor on wooden stands.
Relief washed over the Argonian clerk. The item in the strongbox was very close to him, which was partly the reason he charged so much for it. Val watched as he reached in and removed it's contents. A beautiful katana with an edge so polished it appeared completely white. The look of pleasant memories came to his eyes as he twirled it about with the skill of a professional swordsman. Noticing his son watching him, he returned the weapon and shut the box.
"That was a long time ago," he whispered to himself.
Now, Val found himself holding a thin silver chain. On it was a charm in the shape of a leaf. His father had given it to his mother as an engagement gift. Its abilities were unknown to Val, but he knew it was magical. With the sword he claimed using one of his father's lockpicks under his arm, and the charm clenched in his fist, he looked with disdain at the house. The arguement that had just taken place was fierce indeed.
But not as fierce as the fires that were now burning. Shocked, Val could only watch helplessly as the building became engulfed.
Soon, the smoke blackened out all of his vision, and he could hear screams... and laughter. The house was no longer burning before his eyes. No... now he was IN the building. Except, it was much smaller. The polished wood floor was replaced with dirt.
It was indescribable, especially when he began to feel the burn of the flames.
"Mom... Dad... I'm so sorry," he whispered in his sleep.

Akar smiled. He liked this ashlander. From what he had gathered in taverns, they were severely oppressed by all factions and were struggling to survive.
Akar decided that arm-cutting was a rather good idea. fun and morally right. What more could you ask for? Peace, he decided.
"Come on." he pleaded with the Telvannis. "What will you gained by killing these ashlanders? Just leave, and no blood needs to be shed here."
If they don't leave, this arm-cutting will most certainly occur... he thought to himself.

Megil veered through the city taking in all teh citizens, examining suspicious people, just keeping the city under hawk-like eyes.
Occasionally he would listen to the thoughts roaming around, never picking up anything interesting.
Soon the stood in the plaza in front of the hall of justice, a large cathedral like structure infront of them, spire reaching into the skies. the place filled with archways and windows, stained glass, skylights, basically giving the feeling of still being out in the open.
Megil walked through the hall of justice greeting workers, informants, and guards. he eventually stepped down the hallway leading to his office, a messenger with a large stack of papers waited by the vividly engraved 20 foot double doors that led into the backworks of the hall of justice, where civilians or for even that matter, house authorities could enter, unless they ahd a special permit.
The door's opened to reveal a network of offices where paperwork and messages routed themselves around, a detailed report of every person entering or leaving the city, sales made, and in this inner complex, the currency values where calculated.
Megil stepped int his office, it was large, yet comforting, it was tid yet cluttered with papers, and messages, spy reports, and bookshelves covered in more paperwork.
Megil sat down behind his desk.
"Looks like another busy day Darus." he said as the door shut behind them.
he picked up some of the reports, and began reading them. Perusing most of them, and occasionally reading in detail suspucious activity, and labor accidents from teh port construction. After reading a few, he leaned back on his chair.

So, the half-breed was trying to be peaceful... didn't he realize that he had already tried peace? En'Fel let his own pride shrivel up just earlier, and now suddenly another man was choking his pride again. En'Fel could only be thankful he was not as proud as, say, Hel'Tic, and therefore felt no reason to jump to anger. Still, looking at the dead corpses of Pidou and Altass, En'Fel understood just two things. The first was he would kill that Battlmage, and the second was he would do it slowly.
"Watch yourself!" shouted the Battlemage. "Do not get involved with common criminals like these or I will bunch you amongst them and kill you where you stand. Walk away right now, and don't turn your head, or there will be no turning back."
"So arrogant for a worthless lap-dog," En'Fel grumbled quietly.

Up on the 4th teir of the inn/bar lay the private quarters for the workers of the bar. Falx spent much of his latter life by his room, out on the balcony. The chair creaked as he leaned foward slowly feeling over the jewel encrusted box.
When he opened the lid, it filled with light for the first time in 5 years. It housed the sword that Acryakt had given him, a futile sign of another life. Falx lifted the case in which the broadsword sat, and revealed a secret compartment. This hid another weapon, a weapon of a friend.
After the New Vivic Inn was established and doing well on its own, Falx left to explore a bit of the world, or rather a smaller part of the world. The place that had forever changed his life. Long ago, six feet under, several friends layed their precious articles upon his "grave".
The only thing recovered was a Katana, one of master swordsmanship quality.
"Jonacin's..." Falx felt over the hilt and ran his fingers up the blade with his eyes shut, memory's seem to flood his mind.
There was a sound in the hallaway and Falx hid the objects quickly, as though they were contraband. He stepped back out unto the deck and looked over the square. It seemed some one was staring right back at him, but from a window across the plaza.

"You chose your own fate." Akar said flatly. He gripped his sword with both hands and swung at the leader, hoping that once he was gone, the entire group would flee. Maybe they were common cowards, maybe not.
The leader dodged and launched a quick counter attack. Akar barely got his large sword up to bear, but did succeed in saving his own life, if not in looking graceful.
Akar swung again, horizontally, but this time he stopped in mid swing and reversed the motion, hoping that the leader's parry would be poorly-aimed and form an opening for a well-placed stab. Luckily, the feint worked, and Akar smiled grimly as he pulled his sword from the mer's gut.
Remembering what the ashlander had said, he cut off his arms as he lay writhing on the ground. After the grim task was done, he healed the wound in his midsection so he would be alive for questioning.
He looked at the other Telvanni. "Are you leaving now?"

The other two Telvanni moved in but froze once they saw the sword stab into the guy's gut. They looked like they were about to take off running.

He placed the sword lightly on the ground, and sped off after his friend who was already on his way.
"Alright, Ganfi, untie us," En'Fel ordered, and nearly a second later severed pieces of rope fell to the ground around Ganfi. His throwing star was out and he worked his way to each of his compatriots.
"You, Telvanni?" En'Fel started before Ganfi had reached him.
"Yes... my name is--" the Telvanni began.

"Look around..." he said simply, waving his hands over the bodies of his two dead friends. "Telvanni," he began while picking his bonesword from the ground, "Why are you trying to exterminate our people?"
"Ex-- exterminate?" the Telvanni tried to play innocent while choking through the pain.
"You surrounded us in nightfall so we would not escape, your burned our camp, you're hunting through the Grazelands searching for our remnants. This here, this was the advanced party for the invasion of the Ahemussa. "He ordered it! He would not say why!"
"Who? Who ordered it?!"
"Our, our archmagister!"
"A name I need a name!"

There was a pause, "Can I... can I live?" the Telvanni asked, his voice turning up. En'Fel paced around him to face him. He sheathed his sword and raised his two fingers to the Telvanni's face, touching them against his forehead.
"You might feel a slight chill..." he cautioned, then cast his spell. The Telvanni's skin chrystalized all over, and he feel to the ground as one frozen corpse.

One such sylph watched the stranger with the child, not acting but simply watching. they never made an apearance, simply eyes watching, and reporting to megil.

En'Fel
En'Fel considered this. He needed information desperately. A traveller, that was a good commodity.
"The Ahemussa have a secret hiding place they go when trouble turns up. We all know this, but they don't trust the Zainab, they won't tell us where. We have to find them. If you help, then you can travel with us until we reach Redoran territory."
Anhasou stared uneasily from the traveller to En'Fel. Hel'Tic merely glared at the traveller. Ganfi was busy fixing wounds Sounigo.

"Yes, I can help you find these people." He said, finally glad to be able to do something.
He felt extremely uneasy due to the staring and glaring, most likely it was due to his mixed heritage.
Obviously, he had to do more than save their asses before he would be trusted.
"Here." he said, moving beside Ganfi to look at Sounigo's wounds. He held his hand on the dunmer and began chanting softly. He was pleased when he saw the wounds begin to close, but nowhere near fully healed. His healing powers were quite limited.
"Trying to save your people, eh?" he remarked as he stood back up. "I must admit, it is a much nobler cause than mine."
OOC: bedtime.

En'Fel stared at his healing abilities. Ganfi was just the tribe's novice, learning The Wise Woman's pupil. He would need to get his skills up before the traveller left.
"Very good then, we'll move north to a nice cave and then resume hunting tomorrow," En'Fel stated, his stomach churning at the realization of how far north he'd be able to walk to before he could rest his weary body.
"It was good you came along," he added.

QUOTE(Megil Tel-Zeke @ Sep 1 2005, 03:36 AM)
"So tell me Darus have you come t a decision on what might be done about Isaarun's rebellious activities?"
OOC: sry i feel the new city has to have lot's of description. anyways, sparring match between MEgil and Darus' soon. you know seems like a rather normal way of relieving stress, and also build trust and know that both can defend themselves, and fight together if need be.
Darus waited a few seconds, and replied in a serious tone "I believe we should watch him closely, dig up every bad deed he has ever done in his life and have a spy, preferably an attractive dunmeri female, find out more about his plans". Darus stood in the office until interrupted by the mage. "Sire Megil, I don't think that's a very dangerous threat, but no refugees have been allowed transportation from Bitter-Wood. Would you like me to call a recon crew?" Darus was used to this happening, though it always excited him.
OOC: Bitter-Wood is the village Shakur founded that houses refugees. Is it ok if once and a while they send refugees Megil?
Megil Tel-Zeke
Sep 1 2005, 05:18 AM
OOC: you started with Shakur, and ended as Darus

IC: "Bitter-wood... sounds familiar." Megils aid, laying the report down on the desk, he sifted through some files, and brought up a small one.
"Ah yes bitter-wood, small refugee village, hmm no large threat, leader is Shakur Ir shin. why have they had no transportation? seems odd. It's Shakur's village, of course we will accept refugees from there"
Megil brought out a blank form, filled it out and signed it. he placed it on a box, where all outgoing paper's were placed.
"There," he said with a smile.
He then turned to the prios conversation.
"Good plan, I'll have the Center of informant resources find a good candidate. we will let the other informants in house Hlaalu know of this, when she is put in place, we will need credentials to get her close enough to Isaarin."
Megil glanced through a few more documents, somehow managing to go through nearly all the pile on his desk.
"So, Darus are you up for another friendly spar?" Megil asked, activating the hidden door that led to a training chamber.

Wred
Could the night be more annoying? With each step the aching in his muscles grew more painful. He walked across the bridge and near the eight plates, waved at a guard he passed and finally slumped in the middle of the street.
"Are you alright?" the guard asked him.
"Yes, it's this thirty-two hour shift, I can't move my legs."
"I don't see why they had you working over time like that," the guard commented.
"Oh you know, one guard goes missing and suddenly they treat it like the entire town is under attack. Everyone is so shifty these days, what with the building tension between houses."
"I'll tell you what," the guard offered his hand so Wred could stand up. "Go to your room and catch some sleep, I can cover you shift, not like anything is happening tonight."
Wred gripped his hand to stand up, "Thanks, I won't forget this. I'll be back in eight hours."
"Yeah, yeah well there's no cause to be rude with a fellow guard at this time."
"Of course, be at peace, friend."
"Be at peace," the guard answered and continued on his pace. Wred headed straight to his quarters for a some deeply needed shut-eye.

"Oh, let's just say I have a good intuition, eh?", Cal said and smiled once again. "Well, I'll be going. And I have a feeling we'll meet again, for sure. Until then, bye bye!", Cal said and turned around. He waved to Kiln as he walked away, out of town.
Balmora was no longer his favorite town, acctually, he didn't really have a hometown to go back to. Everything had changed now. Cal walked slowly towards Moonmoth, where his uncle used to be.
He had recently recieved a letter from him, saying that he was in one of the main camps, although which, he didn't say. Cal was very happy that his uncle was still alive, even though he would probably have to travel all over Vvardenfell to find him..

OOC: What is this? One of you put a writ on me and another kidnap my Nanny????
SereneAs Serene went back into the room she spotted Sel behind Kyara and she grinned with joy, took her daughter´s hand saying :
"Come Leni, we must say hello to Sel, mommy´s and daddy´s very good friend"
Then the strange man swept past her into the room presenting himself as Cedir Nires
Serene gasped, the man that murdered his teacher and 8 more students some years ago....she instictively held her daughter closer to her
"Damn it where is Jonacin!"Before sha had a chance to even speak to Sel the strange man got hold of Kyara.....and ..just vanished in a swirl of magicka..
"NOOO,!!!" Serene shouted, "leave her alone!!"
Sel!, he took her, what does he want? And ....oh Sel It´s good to see you.......but what are you doing here?
She looked at her friends, Konrad, Anthanes and Sel....."Can someone tell what all this is about? she asked, All of a sudden you all turn up here after 5 years of calm life.......what IS this?

Endris moved closer to the manor when Sel entered it, cased a light chameleon spell and slowly looked through a window. It wasn't always wise to look through a window into a house full of people but this situation called for it. He watched as a man grabbed a little girl and vanished into air, and how everyone was being so dramatic about it. Excellent, a kidnapping. Such a distraction should keep everyone's emotion and attention away from...other things.

"oh? "Serene looked at Sel..."well you are most welcome to stay with us", she said "we´d love to have you. But tell me Sel..did you and Celia get married?"
"Oh and did you notice we named our daughter after you and Celia?"
"But now then....This Cedir obvously teleported somewhere with Kyara...but where to??? "
Then she noticed a shadow outside the window......was it someone spying at them? She got an odd feeling....normally she would have gone out to look but..not this time..she had a feeling of death.......being very nearby
Serene sat down on a chair, holding her little girl tightly in her arms
"Please, she turned to her friends...please Help me!"

Jonacin came up from the basement, drying his hair with a towel. "Serene, you're ho........." he trailed off as he saw the group of people in his home, and Serene sitting in a chair looking distraught. He ignored the others and ran over to her. "What's wrong Serene?"

Vvardenfell
Grazelands, Vos
Wandering the streets of Vos, Eberron asked who ever he bumped into about the Houses and only rumours trying to gather what information he could about this place. His feets felt heavy as he looked around in the middle of the city, he had asked almost everyone. Without any rumours that could connect to his sister or Arneth in anyway. He had heard that the factions, Mage's Guild, Fighter's Guild and Thieves Guild wasn't much liked at the time and had problems with the Dunmers.
Arneth was the Guildmaster of the Fighter's Guild, maybe something had happend to him. Eberron's thoughts made him wurry, he took a small walk out of the town looking west against the Red Mountains over the Grazelands. He opened his sack, taking out a map over Vvardenfell he got before he made his way to the Island. There was a Fighter's Guild in Sadrith Mora, Ald'Ruhn, Vivec and Balmora he knew. But he doubted Arneth would have stayed in the headquarters anyway, he knew Arneth well, - from the past that is. And didn't know anything that accured to him the years before this.
With nothing to loose he sat his way east, across the grazelands over to Redoran Land hoping he could find out something there...
Vvardenfell
West Grazelands
Eberron sat down for a break on a little hill top overlooking the Grazeland. No creatures, nothing to see anywhere. To his west he could see the tops of the mountains, he knew he needed to follow them around to get to any major cities on the other side.
As he neared the mountain's a pair of huts appeared close to mountain side. Surrounding the fireplace in the middle was four people.
Most likely Ashlanders or something...
As careful as he was he wanted to avoid these people, at least for now. He was tired, his sword felt heavy and he was complete exhausted by the lack of water he had. As he walked more to the east, trying to keep himself out of the eyes reach he noticed that he was spotted. Eberron didn't stop but his eyes sharpend at the people now rising and starting making their way against him. Eberron stopped, knowing he wouldn't stand a chance anyway if he was forced to run. The Ashlanders came up to him, weapons drawn and armor on surronding him on each side thought they were only four...
"What's your buisness here Redguard, all alone in the Grazeland's isn't the safest place" A Ashland said taunting, stepping closer against Eberron with his spear in his hand...
Hope they dont mistake me beeing from one of the Houses... Eberron thought, looking at the Ashlander.
"My buisness have nothing to do with you or your kind. I have no other way to get to the west coast with the little money I have" Eberron replied to the Ashlanders looking them all into the eyes as he told them.
"You're new to this place I guess, but you dont look that poor thought" the Ashlander replied with a gaze down at my sword.
"My sword has nothing to do with my wealth.." I replied fast and calmly to the Ashlander.
"Well... I dont want conflict now, we are to few after what the Houses are doing to us already. A advice, is stay away from these places. Much have changed even thought it might not look that way for a Outlander" the Ashlander replied before signing with his hand that the others should move back, they kept a eye on Eberron as they went back to the camp... Eberron kept his eyes on them to as he started walking north-west. He was glad it didn't turn out any worse.

"Mister, what do you want from me? she asked, looking with fear at the stranger´s sword....
Ced stopped and glanced at his sword.
What am I doing? The sword slipped from his hand to the ground and he stood, facing the wall and giving it a good kick. As he swore, rambling off all the swear words he could think of.
Turning around again, he looked Kyara, an obvious glint of frustration in his eyes.
"Nothing. I don't want anything. Just stand there or something . . until I think."

"Come, let´s go back to Misterss Serene, she can help you feel better, she knows feel-good-magic (OOC: today Serene would be a shrink!

SereneAs Jonacin came, Leni grinned at her father, stretching her arms towards him giggling with joy..Serene took a deep breath in relief...at last!
"Jonacin" she said handing over the cghild to him, Look here, Sel, Anthanes and Konrad is here, and just a moment ago a stranger teleported into our house, it turned out to be that murder you know who killed the teacher and the students 5 years ago.....He kidnapped Kyara and teleported away..we don´t know where to!...And....I think someone is spying on us, I saw a flicker outside that window.
"We have to decide our next step, and I still want to know if it´s na coincidence that so may in the olg gang now are assembled here..with us!"
