OOC: i find it hard to believe that wildlife in morrowind especially aviary species is resticted just to cliffracers O.o besides we are by the sea. seaguls fly long distances and could have flown in from the mainland. We get seagulls here and i'm 6 hours away from the beach O.o

(OOC: Yay for me, I'm glad my dad is great with all the components of a computer, it would seem he has solved most of the problems with the connection. )

Anthanes blinked, twice, as he returned to his senses. The Battlemage slowly got up and sat down on the ground.

"That hurt a bit." , was all he said.

Konrad alked out, then sat cross legged in front of Cela. "I don't even want to know wat's gone on." he declared, making patterns in the crumbling dirt.

Fenris shrugged, grabbing some meat and biting into it. "You're it, it is good," he said between bites.

OOC: Megil, consider the number and aggressiveness of Cliffracers, how they drove out dragons ,then consider how long it would take for the Cliffies to kill/drive out normal birds. And cliffracers exist on the mainland, too.

OOC: see planning and discussion aki. Or i can make a thread in older games regarding this issue, i'm sure everyone would have a blast with it.

IC: Megil finished his breakfast but did not get up, he simply looked around waiting for the others to finish and decide what they were going to do next.

"Ah look who's come back to us, are you hungry now?" he said looking at anthanes.

He then turned to konrad,

"I think in this case feigning ignorance is much better than knowing the truth,"

Konrad nodded, smiling. "Fro ghuf, ev oui lyh kiacc paddan drehkc?(Al Bhed Proverb)" he said to Megil. He walked over to the fire, and warmed up next to it. "I wonder where Arcyatk is now? Do you reckon he's planning something?"

OOC: See, we're in Tamriel not Spira Konradude.

Jonacin walked over to the fire was, and grabbed some meat, then walked down to the shore and sat down. He ate the meat as he looked out over the waves

OOC: No, its a language that my mother and megil both speak, it just happens Al Bhed is incredibly similar.

"Very wisely said konrad. as to arcyatk location we can only guess, for all we know he can be on this very island or at red mountain. I'm sure he will come to us, he always does, he does nt think we are a threat. And if we let him think that then we are at the advantage."

Konrad fell backwards, scrambling in the dirt. A look of horror was on his face. "He..He's behind you!" he screamed at ~Megil.

Niran looked up,

"What the hell are talking about, there's no one behind Megil."

(OOC: Is Konrad challenged mentally perhaps? )

"Mudcrabs!" , Anthanes exclaimed. "Wait. There's nothing behind you...Except for grass. Ooh, what a scary blade of grass!"

With that, Anthanes laughed loudly.

"hmm yes, that is a mighty evil looking blade of grass," Megil said turning around and kneeling down to examine it. He then pulled it out of the ground and threw it into the fire, then said,

"There it will no longer spread its evil shadow over the critters below," he said jockingly.

"ha what are you talking about konrad?"

"The mudcrab that's right behind you. You know, the one who is presently eviscerating you." Anthanes looks grim for a moment, then bursts out into laughter, rolling over the ground.

Niran raised an eyebrow, then the other

"I'd raise a third, but I would have to find some strange way too obtain it, anyone have a spare eyebrow?"

Osano awoke in the ruins dazed. What the? Must've dozed off er something. He stood up and looked around finding that it appeared that the group had left the shrine. He began walking towards where he thought the entrance was when he heard his stomache rumbling. Pulling out his his Rucksack, Osano kneeled down and peered into it only to find a great deal of nothing. "Damnit," he said to himself, "I'll have to go catch some Mudcrab..." Sighing he stood up and made his way to the entrance. He slowly opened the door (there is a door, right?) and saw the others around a fire eating. The aroma of spiced meat greeted Osano's nose and made him even hungrier. He opened the door completely and walked crouched over towards the other side of the island, unsure if he was spotted by the others.

EDIT: how far are u guys froim the entrance

Anthanes shrugged, then narrowed his eyes. "Does anyone else see...something moving over there, near the entrance to the ruin? Nevermind, it's gone."

Konrad scratched the back of his head, standing up. "Must have been a shadow...Wait, I just saw something too Anthanes."

OOC: Jonacin's right out on the beach

Jonacin finished his food, and stood up, stretching out his stiff limbs. He looked around, and saw the others dispersed across the area outside the shrines entrance

She heard voices, but they were all muffled, and her vision was somewhat blurry. She rubbed her eyes and glanced around, noticing the others as as well as food. She shivered as for a moment pain filled her body, her head still throbbing. She noticed something important though: Niran was not frozen anymore!

Confused, she spoke up. "What happened? How did Niran get, er, unfrozen, may I ask?"

"Mara took possesion of your body and , err, unfroze him with minimal help from yours truly."

Anthanes looked around, grinning.

"Anyone got some flin?"

Konrad searched round in his now very ragged bag, and pulled out a rusty metal bottle. He threw it to Anthanes. "That's all I have. It was taken from an inn in Cyrodiil, you'll remember the place Celia."

He picked up a few slices of meat, walked over to the Altmer and sat beside her. "Hungy? You were fighting hard there with Anthanes. You feel ok?" he asked, handing the meat to her.

"Mara? Oh, I hope I haven't hurt anyone..." Seeing the meat, Celia smiled, then grabbed the meat from Konrad's hands. "Famished," she answered happily as she dug her teeth into the meat. She paused for a moment, then wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. "I'm sorry for my terrible manners..." Then, having said that, continued to chew hungrily onto the meat as if she had not eaten in years.

Anthanes smiled towards Konrad. "Hmm...Cyrodiilic flin. Been seven years since I last had it...The local Dunmeri surrogate flin is good, but the genuine Cyrodiilic..."

Anthanes uncorked the bottle and took a sip, a satisfied look on his face.

Konrad brought out a very small flask, no rust visible on it. "And this cyrodiilic brandy is pretty darn good too!" he exclaimed, placing it back into his back and rolling a sock round it.

Konrad laughed heartily at Celia, then floated the pan over to Celia and himself. "Care for a fried egg, m'lady?" he asked her, smiling.

Arneth heard what seemed to be a conversation to the east, the smoke from a camp fire was brought to his attention. With the Daedroth head in his hand he walked closer through the rough landscape at the shore. His sword filled with blood, and his armour with a few red stripes from the battle against the Daedroth didn't really matter as he stopped a full party of people on the shore outside the Shrine...

The adventures was from all over Tamriel, even one looked like a crossing between a Imperial and a Dunmer. What they where doing out here thought, was also interesting Arneth thought as he saw the adventures eat and drink in the morning hours.. He walked out of the cover by the huge rocks to ecounter the group...

OOC: OOH. Jus noticed the guitar on your avvie. Veery nice.

Anthanes dropped his gaze onto Arneth, smiling slightly though keeping a hand close to his sword in case he had hostile intentions.

"Hmm...Hello there, traveller. Fighting Daedra are we?"

The Half-Dunmer drew his attention, he could see his hand was slowly nearing his sword...
"Yeah.. This one has done enough harm, but yourself.. What are you doing here?" Arneth replied, he held his sword low thought was ready to attack in a instant if these people were not what they seemed to be..

"Oh, uh, thank you, Konrad... But, how would I eat it without any sort of eating utensil?" She glanced up at the stranger. "Oh, hello," she said politely. She gestured among the group. "We are a group of adventurers on a quest, is all." She smiled friendly.

Anthanes smirked. "We like to consider it saving Nirn from impending doom, but that's prolably overrating it." The half-dunmer's hand moved away from the sword as he took another sip from the flin.

Arneth looked over at the young Altmer girl, who looked a little drained right now, but didn't care to ask what had just happend.
"I see.. What kind of quest draws you up here?" Arneth questioned the young Altmer girl smiling...

Konrad sighed, then floated a knife over to Celi. "Just use this." he told her, then stood up. "Hello, redguard. We are on a quest to save Tamriel...as it happens."

Jonacin turned when he heard the others talking. He saw a fellow Redguard, holding a Daedroth head in one hand and a sword in the other. "Hail, friend. It's a long time since i've seen a fellow countryman"

Arneth looked over as a Redguard came into the image, the Redguard looked like a strong warrior and with only one arm...
"Hail to you too my friend.." Arneth replied to Jonacin with a nod before turning over to this young boy..

"Saving Tamriel aye? Well that was interesting.." Arneth replied to Konrad, raising a eyebrow. He suddently went all confused, these people up here saving Tamriel. Without him even knowing so..

Falx, The Traveller, wrapped his stolen cloak around him tighter, sheiled his body from the chilly winds. He was a little distraught about stealing from someone, and found it hard to deal with the fact that he had actually done it, but it was deathly cold, and Falx justify'd, that he probobly had ripped some poor peasent off for it regaurdless. That type of false security still weighed heavely one his blank mind.

Walking west, or what he thought was west, had slowly brought a change in the weather. For better or worse it was difficult to tell, still piles of snow lay along side of the cobblestone path, and the wind still brought that freezing chill. The soft, cold, rain dripped slowly around him, not quite drenching but making it semi-uncomfortable. In all of its odd beauty still the Traveller could find no peace, he was without food, water, spare clothing, and most of all a indentity. He felt exposed, as though everyone could see through him, yet he couldn't even veiw himself. There was howling in the distance, he quickened his pace.

Unbeknownst to Falx, he was really heading east towards the province known as Morrowind, land of the Dunmer.

"So you just happened to wander upon us," Niran asked the stranger, suspicion obvious in his voice.

Suddenly his sword was drawn,

"I'm afraid, my friend, that I don't just trust others who go wandering randomly around ruins like these."

(OOC: There goes Niran again, they have the same sword. )

Otik saw Niran draw his sword so he, in turn, drew his bow, ready is anything was to break out.

Niran walked over to the stranger, and looked him in the eye, then he grinned.

He sheathed his sword, holding out his hand to shake the stranger's.

"Niran, sir."

Otik, still cautious sat by the fire but didn't put his bow up

Konrad raised an eyebrow at Niran, then laughed at him pitifully. "I need a drink...." he mumbled, going to the banks of the water and lapping it up.

Sel walked back to his old home just outside Ald'ruhn after taking the silt strider from Gnisis to Ald'ruhn.

He stood, staring at the graves, just as he had done many times before. Despite Serene's healing of his mind, he couldn't help but feel an intense rage mixed with the sadness.

He walked back to the city - someone in Gnisis had news of his father. Avon Vendas wasn't exactly a quiet mer, and had been rumored to have been starting bar fights in Ald'ruhn. Sel opened the doors of the Rat in the Pot and noticed his father immediately, even though he had not seen him since he was two years old. Sel couldn't help but scowl at the fact that his father loked a bit like him, and that he had a woman sitting on his lap - a woman that was most certanly not his mother.

"How many families do you have, Avon?" Sel asked accusingly as he sat down across from his father.

"Selenil?" Avon asked, pushing the young dark elf girl off of him. "I feared you were dead when I saw the graves..."

"Yes, I am quite alive - no thanks to you." Sel spat. If his father had only been there, his mother would not have starved, he would not have had to ever leave Vysi alone...

"Look." Avon began. "I know I was a bad father, hell, I wasn't even a father at all. Maybe we could change that?"

"Maybe." was all Sel could offer.

"I see." Avon said with a sigh. he stood up, and motioned towards sel's sword. "Take good care of that." was all that Sel's father said before walking out of the bar.

Sel didn't even know why he had looked for Avon - he knew he wouldn't be able to forgive him, not yet anyway. Sel was grateful that Avon had paid his respects at the gravesite, and even offered to change his ways, but Sel couldn't get the past out of his head.

Tired of it all, he decided to go back to the others. He activated his amulet, and he found himself just outside a daedric ruin.

"What?" he asked nobody in particular, having expected to be bak in the ashlands.

OOC: sorry for the long post - had to wrap it up.

"What, exactly do you mean by what, Sel?" Niran asked, looking strangely at the appearing dunmer, "You ran off a while ago, and I'll be damned if I'm going to summarize a whole bunch of events for you, strange that you would run off."

"Hello to you too, Niran." Sel said, looking around. "Where exactly are we?"

He didn't want to change the topic to Serene - Sel feared she was dead.

(OOC: No he doesn't have it, it was taken away from him when he froze.)

"Somewhere in hell," Niran answered Sels question.

"So I guessed from seeing you here." Sel said jokingly.

"I know you didn't want to wrap up events for me, but why not tell me a couple interesting parts?"

OOC: who has it? Jonacin?

(OOC: I have no idea. I also am not going to go back to your last post before you left just to tell you what you missed. )

Niran thought for a few seconds,

"Uh . . . Interesting stuff . . not much of that happened. I'd say the most interesting, and funny occurence is where Anthanes got seduced by a strange creature that came from the water. Oh and I was frozen by that freaky sword, lucky for me Celia went insane and gained the powers of Mara just in time." he shrugged "I was frozen for some of it, so I don't remember."

OOC: I know what happened...Sel doesnt'.

"Okay...." Sel said, not really gathering much from the story (if you could call it that.). All he got was Celia being posessed by Mara and 'freaky sword.'

"Freaky sword and Mara. Got it." he continued sarcastically. "Not much for details, huh?" he said, sitting by the fire with the others.
