Konrad tipped his imaginary 'hat' to Sel. "Welcome back. We are in Akd'Daedroth or something. Serene's inside the ruin. We are setting of to find Arcyatk now...."
Dantrag
"You know where Arcyakt is?" Sel asked.

He was glad that Serene somehow survived her ordeal with Stendarr, but didn't say anything about it - if she was alive, he didn't need to. Arcyakt was their main concern now.
Fuzzy Knight
Arneth was supprised as suddently in a flash of light this Dunmer appeared beside the Altmer before starting speaking of this 'Arcyakt' he ignored the question Niran had asked, if he just was wandering around here...
"Arcyakt... Friend of yours?" Arneth questioned the group, as he had already heard the rumours about the name Arcyakt around in the Fighter's Guild...
Dantrag
"Yes." Sel answered. "A friend that hunts us down with dragons."

"And you would be...?" Sel asked, just noticing the newcomer.

OOC: what happened to Arco again? 4 threads is a lot to remember in one night.
Soulseeker3.0
" 'ello Sel, how have you been?"
Dantrag
"Fine, I guess." Sel said helping himself to some food.
Soulseeker3.0
(ooc:dang-it I have so much trouble remembering people. sorry)
Aki
Fenris smirked. "Arcyakt is a foolish Altmer who would dare defy the Gods," he said. "He wishes us dead, but doesn't try to kill us outright because the sick hamster thinks its more fun to toy with us," he said simply. "And welcome back Sel."
Dantrag

Arcyakt stood at the top of the ruin, looking down on the companions. He enacted an invisibility spell so as not to be seen. They took his sword before he could finish copying its enchantment. First the wise woman teleporting it around, then the actual taking of it. . He had most of it, but was nowhere near to making a spell from the enchantment. the chimer that made that sword was powerful indeed. Though he hated to admit it, the ancient wizards before his time were more powerful even than him.

But had any of them gone as far as to kill a god?

Arcyakt held his staff out in front of him, inspecting the runes. What else could the artifact allow him to do? Soultrapping humanoids defied the gods, (that was why the staff was in oblivion)which was useful, but not as powerful as he had been led to believe by the beings of Oblivion. It had to have more power than he had tapped into.
Konji
Konrad shook his head to Sel. "i have no idea where he is, and I don't think anyone else does. But he's not going to be around the campfire is he? We should get moving soon." he told him, pacing backwards and forwards with energy.
OOC: What time is it?
Megil Tel-Zeke
Megil watched the clouds as he was immersed in thought. He had not noticed the new stranger or that Sel had returned.

is there a way to suceed? Why am I even involved in this and other such thoughts were racing through his head, incapable of coming down to a conclusion.

He stood up and without saying a word collected his things and began to walk away from the group.
Konji
Konrad noticed Megil leaving, and ran after him. "Fryd yna oui tuehk?"
Megil Tel-Zeke
Megil looked over his shoulder at Konrad,

"e's fymgehk, du frana fru ghufc."

He then continued walking away from the others.
gamer10
Niran got up, where the hell was Megil going?

"Where are you off too?" he asked him, running and catching up.
Megil Tel-Zeke
"why would that matter to you," he said turning to Niran studying his expression then looking over Niran's shoulder at the rest of the group, who was now staring at him.,

"Hmm I guess it does. I'm not going anywhere, just going to find a quiet place to think this out he said."
gamer10
Niran nodded and turned around, walking back to the rest of the group.
Dantrag
"Leave him alone." Sel said quietly.

Sel figured that Megil needed time alone. And if he wanted to leave, he could.

He looked around and noticed that Jonacin had a new sword. Didn't he use his spirit sword? Why did he need this one?
MerGirl
(OOC: I'm not sure what happened to Arco.. I think he got left behind at the tribe/ camp... I think?)

She glanced at Megil's back, confused and hoping that he would return soon. After all, he seemed to be one of the few sensible males in the group. She shrugged. Perhaps, he just needs some peace and quiet for awhile, like Sel said.

Speaking of Sel...

Celia smiled wearily at Sel, her face friendly, but tired. "Hello, silly Dunmer? How is life treating you?"
Dantrag
Sel shrugged. "Fine, I guess." he replied to celia's question. He was kind of worried for Celia - all of the people that had been possessed were either hurt or had hurt someone else.

"Are you okay?" Sel asked her. "from the possession, I mean."
MerGirl
Celia tilted her head, wondering why Sel seems worried. "Oh, I'm feeling fine..." She smiled to comfort him. "Just a little tired and drained, is all." She gestured towards Niran. "Mara was kind enough to help me free Niran from the sword's curse, so I feel very grateful to her."
ShogunSniper
Osano made his way further from the group until he was safe from being spotted. He found a Mudcrab and effortlessly killed it and gutted it to get to the edible meat. He didn't have the choice of making a fire so he ate the crab meat raw. After relaxing for a bit, Osano walked back towards the group he was assigned to watch.
Upon reaching the ruins he felt something, his gaze was drawn to the top of the ruins but he saw nothing. Arcyakt. What in these ruins interest you? Is it that peculiar sword I saw with Jonacin? (i think it's jonacin who has it...)

OOC: Mergirl, is your avatar Garnet from Final Fantasy IX? or do you not know?
Dantrag
"Try to get some sleep." he said to Celia.

Mage

Yes, the sword. Arcyakt replied, his voice echoing in Osano's head. But don't worry about it - It will come to me in time. He dropped the mental connection for a second so that his thoughts would be private. Alright. he thought, reopening the connection to Osano. You can consider your mission complete, or you can continue it, I need to finish with the dwemer contructs. Are you coming along?

MerGirl
(OOC: My avatar's Garnet from FF9, yes.)

"Allright, but first--" Celia held out her arms and embraced Sel tightly. "I have missed you!"
ShogunSniper
Osnao thought for a moment. "It's not like I'll miss anything interesting..." he said. Arcyakt, I'll go with you.

OOC:
I dedicate this post to James Doohan. 1920-2005
"Here's to ya, lad."

"Allright, but first--" Celia held out her arms and embraced Sel tightly. "I have missed you!"

"I wasn't gone that long." Sel said, returning the hug. "But I missed you too."

Mage

Let's go then. Arcyakt thought to Osano as he teleported them to yet another dwemer ruin.

"Only a few more to go before we're done." he said to Osano, who was now standing beside him.
Channler
"Hey! Get out'a the way!" Falx quickly side-stepped to avoid an incoming rider, he muttered a curse under his breath. The fact that he saw a horse astounded him a bit, ever since coming down from the mountain he longed to ride one, but hadn't a clue why. There numbers were rapidly declining in the further he traveled.

The smelled of salt, and the port was bustling with foot traffic and any other reject that you'd not hope to find. It quickly clicked in the Travellers mind that this wasn't the place to be and instead settled for a nice cosy inn on the eastern portion of the city.

"That'll be 6 gold peices sir" The innkeeper stared down and quickly became agitated when he didn't pull out the money right away.
"Just a second mam, I seemed to have a hole in my pocket" Falx let off a smile. Now the young imperial women look as though should would cleave his head off, seeing her.. anger? Falx pulled out the correct change and handed it over.
"Room 5, on the left hallway." Her gaze shifted from Falx and focused inward, "If it is my master's wish I can arrange for their to be "entertainment" provided with his room" The red haired imperial women looked distraught by her own words.
Falx, caught up with the thought of "company" didn't notice the pain in her eyes, and quickly agreed.

It would be a.. fun night Falx imagined

Arcyakt was finished activating the constructs, so he teleported them all to a large chamber in his fortress. All of them - the ones from Mournhold, from all the dwemer ruins across Vvardenfell.

All but three of them.

"Three more." Arcyakt said to Osano. He teleported himself and his partner to the next ruin.

"Sel, are we giving away hugs? I'm sure Jonacin would like one." Niran said jokingly, before standing up.

"So are we going to waste more time here, or get moving somewhere?"
Fuzzy Knight
As Arneth stood with the Daedroth head in his left hand and a bloody sword in the other he went a little back.. So these adventurers are hunting a villan, that controls dragons. He had a hard time beliving them, but they seemed natural enough to be speaking the truth. Thought the name Sel and Niran, it was like he had heard them before...

"So if I had gotten this right... Your huntind down a villan, which has the power to control dragons?" Arneth said raising a eyebrow to the group, he wasn't really sure if they were only kidding around with him.. "And.. to your.. Niran.. I'm not just a traveller or something that wandered in to you, I had a quest that led me. And that is sorted" he said to Niran, before giving a glance down at his Deadroth head..
gamer10
(OOC: He's heard of Niran before, I don't get it?)

Niran did say anything, however he did stretch his arms.

Took you long enough to answer.
Dantrag
after gamer
Dantrag
"Basically." Sel said in answer to Arneth as he broke the embrace.. "Though I think controlling the dragon is a very minor thing to him."

OOC: oops - hit wrong button....
gamer10
"Well, we're just giving away as much information to this guy as we can. Not worrying about the fact that he could be a spy for Arcyakt." Niran said, with a little hint of cynicism.
Dantrag
"Arcyakt has magic mirrors that will show us to him, so it doesn't really matter." Sel said with a shrug.

OOC: Yes, Sel knows that - he went through one
MerGirl
(OOC: slow internet, sorry!)

Celia raised an eyebrow. "Mirrors? He had mirrors? Why would a mage need mirrors?" She giggled. "He must be a pretty vain person to have more than one mirror... " She tilted her head, and muttered, "Perhaps being an evil mage has taken a toll on his, er, attractiveness?"

She glanced at the Redgaurd stranger. "Well, you are welcome to join us for a meal. I would not mind." She patted the spot next to her.
Fuzzy Knight
Arneth only smiled before leaving the Daedroth head behind and sitting down by the young Altmer girl. Thought he wasn't that hungry...

"So controlling dragons is easy for this... Arcyakt... What gives you the idea you will defeat him, I've heard tales of when a dragon attacks. It isn't pretty" Arneth admitted, thought he didn't knew that they had this artifact that was carried by Jonacin..

(Last post for tonight - I'll come back tomorrow morning to post the rest of the Fan Fic.. bye) wink.gif
gamer10
Several ways we can defeat him, all of them I'm not going to tell you. Hopefully no one else will. Niran still didn't trust this redguard.

He stood up, and walked back into the ruins. He would need to get his own sword back. Having exchanged the enchanted one with his.
Dantrag
Sel shrugged in answer to Arneth's question.

"We may not succeed in killing the mage." Sel admitted. "But why not try? In doing so, we will be trying to protect our loved ones." he said, and his gaze automatically went to Celia.

Sel didn't know about the artifact or its enchantment.
MerGirl
Celia blinked, confused, when she noticed Sel's gaze. "Eh?"

Turning to Arneth, she commented, "Well, some of us are thinking perhaps we have a way of defeating him..." She paused. "Well, it is worth a try, at least."
Dantrag
"And what would that be?" Sel asked, he was as clueless as Arneth, and glad to turn the converation in another way than Celia's "eh?".
Wolfie
Jonacin drew the sword from his belt and held it across his palms. "I think this thing should make short work of even a dragon. One quick scratch and the thing is down for the count. It's getting close enough to do that that could be a problem"
Dantrag
"Since when do you use anything other than your spirit-sword thingy?" Sel asked, still racking his brain for the technical term for Jonacin's sword.

"And what does this new sword do that's so special?"
Wolfie
"I still use my Shehai, i'm just keeping this one safe. It has an incredibly powerful ice enchantment on it, anything struck by the blade will be instantly frozen to a block of ice - literally - for all eternity. And if it's used against a person, the weilder is overcome by mind crushing remorse. The blade is cursed"
Dantrag
"Interesting." Sel remarked. "Seems almost stupid to hang on to it. Why not dump it somewhere?"
Wolfie
"Because Arcyatk was here searching for it. He wants it, probably to recreate the enchantment on another object."
Dantrag
"Alright. Assuming you are correct, what's to stop Arcyakt from just coming down on his dragon and taking it?" Sel asked, hoping Jonacin would get rid of it.

And turning us against each other. He's done it three times now. Osano was turned, Jonacin was forced on Serene's life, just as I was with Celia's... he added to himself, but didn't voice.

OOC: I'll be gone for awhile.
Wolfie
"If he comes, i'll use it on him. It's definitely worth my sanity if that evil is destroyed once and for all"
Megil Tel-Zeke
It had been several hours since Megil left the group, he wondered if they had left him to look for arcyakt. Having though over alot of things, the situation didn't seem so hopeless. He would remain with them until the deed was done, then he would return to his island home. He stood up from his spot in the beach and headed back to the camp.

Yes i'm sure I figured out a way to bypass the curse on the blade he thought confidently, a hint of a smile apearing on his face.

Soulseeker3.0
Otik sighed, "Ok not that this isn't fun or anything but i'm going to walk around and explore around. Isn't there a town somewere up here at the end of the world?" Otik walked west, not careing for an answer.
Megil Tel-Zeke
OOC: nop its an island see.
user posted image
so you'll end up walking back around into camp.

IC: Megil walked back into camp carrying some mroe driftwood for the fire, He set down next to the fire and began to place the wood into the flames to prevent it from dieing out or to send ashes up in the air.

He looked up to see Otik walking west near the horizon.
