As much as he hates himself for what he is...odly enough, no.

He might hate his lycanthropy, and consider it a curse, but he enjoys the thrill of the hunt. At least until he realizes what he has done.

It's something like this:

The human side of him is in a subconscious battle with the inner wolf. Part of Westley hates the wolf, but part of him adores it. His guilty conscience makes him feel guilty for killing an innocent person because he has a good heart, but while in the form of the wolf, all those worries go away and he enjoys the hunt.

Lycus started out that way until he became more paganistic about it. Some hate it, some embrace it, others learn to live with it.

But Westley . . .He's playing with fire! Watch out!

The problem is his human conscience *drove him to obtain the ring of Hircine. That's preventing him from embracing the inner wolf, and aiding the human side if him in its battle with the beast. The human sides victory is causing the inner wolf to try and force him to transform harder. Westley is caught in the middle of this "battle", and its causing him a lot of trouble.
