Did Vaultren ever go wild? I don't recall. I remember him almost being assassinated by some Thalmor woman posing as a tavern wench and he retaliated in self-defense. Never him being slapped.

Lycus only has control because he periodically loses control. If he boxed his condition in and tried to cage his animalistic instinct, it would be easier for him to explode in rage and lash out. But he's conditioned already. Next time though, hopefully there won't be one, he might just go mad.

Lycus would probably laugh at it in the future as he looks back. Feel free to point mocking fingers
