Adorable pic. Cats being all cuddly never fails.
Cliffracers are probably the most hated enemy in Morrowind. Not because they were dangerous. They were just all over the place. There were some areas on the map where you literally could not walk ten feet without being attacked by one. I'm not exaggerating. After a while, it becomes incredibly annoying. That is why there are tons of Morrowind mods that remove cliffracers from the game.
Random dragons seem to be the same, especially after the main quest is over, they keep popping up and attacking people. It is one of the bigger complaints I see about the game. That and the dragons are too weak (especially Alduin).

These Daedra are certainly pushy types aren't they? They keep expecting us mortals to care about doing their crap for them.
Well, at least Aravi already had that beacon from the bandit lair. At least now she does not have to make an extra trip to find it.
Sure is a nice view from way up there.
Isn't it funny how Meridia's Temple looks just like a Nordic tomb?

The Corrupted Shades look neat. I like how they sort of explode into black tendrils when you kill them.
I see Kharjo got to have some fun with that staff of ice bolts.

I’m not a fan of Meridia’s attitude, but I did enjoy watching Aravi start to restore her temple.
I had to smile at Kharjo’s agitated reaction to Aravi’s return to Nirn. It must have been a surprise to both of them when she swooped into the air.
Whoa, Kharjo is having fun with those staves! I was rolling every time he ice-blasted the heck out of something and Aravi turned to look at him.

The atmosphere in there is quite creepy and mysterious with all of the bodies and their corrupted shades. Aravi looking around at things shows it very well.

Kharjo was wicked with those staffs !! I loved watching those enemies exploding too, not sure if what they were to do that !! Lots of fast turning motions and dark scenes kept this from being one of my top fave vids, but the content was just as Awesome as ever !!! Loved it !!!

During Aravi’s lofty conversation with Meridia, her conflicting emotions showed perfectly. On one hand, she was seething with anger (not one dam ‘please’ out of Meridia). On the other hand, she was clearly very apprehensive about being suspended what looked to be several thousand feet in the air. What is it with these Daedra Lords?!? No wonder no one worships Meridia; she has the personality of an angry mudcrab!
Heh, Kharjo has a pair (of staves) and he knows how to use them! It was hilarious watching him ice cube foes before Aravi could shoot sometimes. Hard to tell when she looked at him whether it was to roll her eyes, or she was impressed, or simply thinking he’s awfully fast and loose with those staves when Aravi’s probably the one that has to recharge them somehow.

@SubRosa: They certainly are pushy. Nothing gets someone to agree to what you want them to do better than suspending them several thousand feet in the air. The corrupted shades are the coolest looking undead enemies in the game. They should have been a little more powerful in my opinion. Thanks SubRosa!
@Grits: Meridia was a little more amiable in Oblivion. No surprise that a godlike being would have an attitude though. I liked Kharjo’s reaction too! Suddenly Aravi is swooped into the air. Aravi did NOT enjoy that either. Kharjo loves playing with staves!

Thanks Grits!
@mALX: I really enjoyed that quest, it is one of my favorites. Poor Kharjo didn’t know what to do when Aravi was scooped into the air! Kharjo is so much better with the staffs than Aravi is. He can hit just about anything with them. Sorry ‘bout the quick turns, I get into it and forget. Thanks mALX!
@Acadian: You got Aravi’s emotional state exactly while Meridia suspended her in the air.

And then when she was set down, she felt like she was in free fall!

Aravi was more rolling her eyes at him, though she didn’t mind that he was loose with them. More of a good natured humorous expression than an annoyed one. Thanks Acadian!

There were times when this vid was a little too dark for me to fully appreciate some of its detail. As Aravi reached for that pedestal after killing Necrodudius I was thinking to myself that she was going to end up suspended high above Skyrim again. . . Argh! At least Meridia was sort of grateful instead of acting like a harpy again. I’m glad Aravi made it clear that she is
not an disciple of Meridia; that took
stones courage. Then another fall to ground! Where’s Kharj? Whew! Right where ‘Ravi left him.

That corrupted shade lit up by the ice storm was creepy, right next to Aravi! I didn’t know it was so close.

Aravi was such a Khajiit with that trap. She looked at the bottle, looked at the pedestal. Hmm, it’s probably a trap. Took the bottle anyway. I could imagine Kharjo thinking, are you okay, and also, are you serious?! Hey, she saved
him the embarrassment (and pain) of getting jabbed!

Meridia wasn’t too concerned about the shades that were still fighting while she was giving her orders! Oh no, Aravi got swooped away and Kharjo had to wait in the temple!! Now whenever Aravi looks at the moon, I wonder if she feels the beast blood calling like Vilkas does. She seemed happy to be back with Kharjo at the end.

@SubRosa: He loves those staves.

His liberal use of them makes keeping them charged difficult though as Acadian mentioned a little while ago. What was she thinking?

She smelled a trap, but it was well hidden. She moved back away from the pedestal right away so she only was poked instead of impaled.

I love using those scrolls. They are much more useful than they were in Oblivion. Thanks SubRosa!
@mALX: He waited in the hall until the fighting started, but once the fighting started, there’s nothing that is going to keep a follower out of the fight short of disabling their AI. I like it that way too, Kharjo wouldn’t just stand there while Aravi was attacked would he? He did wait after the combat was over though, Aravi went back for him. I cut out the looting just because I don’t think it is relevant to the story such that it is. If I find something really cool though, I make sure I show it. Thanks mALX!
Just a note, that chamber gets locked after the quest is done. I had to use the console to get the door open so Aravi could reach Kharjo.
@Acadian: I kept it dark some of the times to keep the spooky atmosphere. I liked seeing the glowing red eyes in the darkness. Of course, Meridia hoisted poor Aravi into the air again. Aravi was bolder this time around too. At least she got a very useful blade out of the ordeal. Aravi was hoisted, but Meridia left Kharjo where he was! Thanks Acadian!
@Grits: The darkness wasn’t the best for showing what was happening, but it sure was fun to play with little lighting. I’m glad you liked the trap!

Aravi was weary of a trap, but was still surprised when those spears came out of the moss and poked her.

It is very good that she stepped back when she did. Funny that you mention the beast blood, she has felt the need to let it out. Thanks Grits!

You know, of all the characters of mine who have been shanghaied into doing this quest, not one has ever wanted that stupid axe. Or that ugly helmet either. I have been thinking, and it occurred to me that in the other games you had to actually go to the Daedric Shrines and initiate a conversation with the Daedra to start their quest. In Skyrim they are forced upon you, without you wanting any part of them.
That second vid looks like Halted Stream Camp. That is a fun place to ransack, especially because of that oil down in the last room. One arrow to the lamp overhead and Boom!
Time for the Breast Form again. Whoa! they really go flying when Aravi lays into them!
Nerussa would not approve of Aravi's table manners...
She couldn't open the door inside the mine? Interesting. I never imagined that. I was wondering if she would have to pick the lock as a werewolf?
So do I gather correctly that when in wolf form, you cannot loot the bodies of people? Or pick anything up?
Ahhh, clever going in through the pit. Dangerous too, it is not easy getting down there without being skewered on this spikes!

What a beautiful spot to stop and warm up. I love the cloudy skies.
That’s an uneasy moment when Vile essentially says thanks for being too nice to murder the dog, now I’m powerful again and FREEE!! It made Jensa kick herself for not doing what she thought was the bad thing, which seems about how a mortal would feel after a deal with Vile.
That was an awesome werewolf rampage! This has to be one of my favorites of your videos. I wondered how she was going to get through that gate. The wolf solution was very scary, as I know how much damage those spikes can do! That’s such a good place to go for a transformation, since Aravi won’t have to worry who gets eaten. It seemed in this video that the werewolf was less Aravi in beast form and more a beast that had taken her over, if that makes sense. Wow, that was one pissed-off wolf when it figured out it was trapped!
Ugh, waking up sick and alone surrounded by the evidence. Well, at least she knows where she is. And who she has eaten. I love the werewolf video! It really showed the situation that she is in. On the one hand is this pure killing machine of reckless, dreadful awesome, but on the other hand it lives inside kind, careful Aravi. Great video, KC!!

@SubRosa: Yep, they were able to slip away from that dragon. Aravi wasn’t interested in the ax just because it’s a two handed weapon. If it were a sword she might have thought about it, but she wouldn’t have killed Barbas.
I literally laughed at the mention of Nerussa!
Werewolves cannot pick locks or loot anything. The inventory is inaccessible in that form. Yep the beast got herself trapped; it actually contained the frenzy nicely. Thanks SubRosa!
@Acadian: Finally done with Vile and his dog. Werewolves are very strong. They take damage poorly but with overwhelming force and speed they can take just about anything. Yeah Aravi is always sick after a transformation. Thanks Acadian!
@mALX: I totally agree with you on the voices. Barbas’ voice fits the scruffy dog, but Vile’s voice? Noooooo!
If Aravi comes to dine in her beast form, you better run, hide, do whatever you can to get away! She was still in the mine when she woke up, she couldn’t get out as a beast. There was nothing left alive in there, she was safe. Thanks mALX!
@Grits: Aravi was very uncomfortable about that whole interaction with Vile. She was expecting something bad. It seems like Barbas is a moderating influence on him. Hopefully.
You nailed it! Aravi isn’t in control in a transformation, the beast is. She certainly didn’t want to eat anyone, but the beast was more than happy to. Waking up from a transformation is one of the most unpleasant experiences Aravi has had. Even though I can’t show it, she throws up everything the beast eats. Thanks Grits!

I second the Ancient Nord armor. It’s one of my favorites, and I think it suits her. Jensa found hers in a cave somewhere, quest-related. It was kind of a trophy for her. Of course, Aravi may feel differently about her connection with the Companions, specifically with Aela.

I’ve never had a character who wore the glass, but maybe someday. I think it would work for a Redguard warrior. It’s very pretty when it catches the light.
I like Aravi’s barbarian bikini. It gives her free range of motion.

Neat how Aravi puts on her little blue glow feet of quietus before entering that cave. It didn’t take long at all before Aravi’s new archery training from Aela paid off. I loved it when she sank an arrow into the first vic, then heard, “Is someone there?” I thought Aela said one of those Silver Hands was bright? Heh, Kharjo and his dual staves! Woot! Doh! I completely missed that first vid.
1st vid: I see Aravi is getting archery lessons. Why only two skill levels worth? She has plenty of money to get all five for her level.
She's investing in archery perks now. I changed the perk tree to make the Ranger perk available at 30 points. It is annoying to me that you are the only one in the game who moves like a pregnant cow with a drawn bow (ever bandit archer moves at full speed).
Aravi sure carts around a lot of stuff with her!
2nd vid: I think I know what ruin that is. With the ghosts who all say: "I don't want to attack you." I think there is a cave through the mountains at the top of the site.

Indulging Curiosity.
What a beautiful spooky cave! Trapped! Sild spent more time threatening Avavi than he did dying. Was he a wimp or Aravi just that full of awesomesauce? Probably both, I reckon.
Outside the cave, I perked my ears to pick up any wolf noises. Then a dragon flew across the moon! Wow, that was cool! I loved how she gave that fire throwing skellie an extra whack for surprising and interrupting her dragon huntin’!
Fight’s on! That dragon did some serious damage to Aravi – I was nervously waiting for her to heal. Dear Kharj gave her respite to do so by taking several seconds of dragon breath – ouch.
And we end with Aravi slipping on her magical blue feet and popping into another dungeon. I love her curiosity, but I get a little nervous. . . you know, with what they say about curiosity and cats.
To the Top of the Mountain
A little waterfall! At first I thought maybe I saw steam from like a hot springs, but then realized it was (brrrr) blowing snow – no kitty bathing here. Oh, and the troll. . . .
Kharj is almost starting to look a little ‘magey’ between his cape looking a bit like a cape those dual staves. That’s good though, since between the two cats, not much gets close enough for melee.
I still love Aravi’s ‘will-o-the-wisp’ little blue light!
Oooh! Pritty sky – especially the moon right at the end.

@mALX: When he’s not shooting her in the back, Aravi likes Kharjo’s staffs too. Thanks mALX!
@Grits: He zapped her several times and she was going to shoot that arrow at him! Yes, the previous dragon was the one that lived at that peak. I wasn’t sure if Clear the Skies actually worked for normal weather or not. Aravi didn’t feel protected after he zapped her in the back several times. Lol. Thanks Grits!
@SubRosa: The cave was unexpectedly bright when she entered it. She was tempted to take the staffs away after he blasted her several times with the lightning one. Yep, it was that last dragon. Thanks SubRosa!
@Acadian: Is Aravi awesome? How is that even a question?

I loved seeing that dragon fly across the moon, took bad it took exception to Aravi’s presence on its mountainside.
Definitely no bathing in this area, not with the cold or trolls. I try to make use of that little light where I can, but Aravi’s night vision is just better. Glad you enjoyed its use here though. Thanks Acadian!

It was very hard to like any screen better than the hot springs one, but I absolutely LOVE the Archery screen best - Love Aravi's expression, the background bright colored grass against the muted blue of the mountains in the backdrop - AWESOME SCREEN !!!!! They are all great shots, but that one knocked me out !!!
