Interesting to think of using Wayshrines for transportation. It makes me think of the ones dotted around in Cyrodiil.

Serana and Knight-Paladin Gelebor were fun to watch in this part. I like that one of Molag Bal’s chosen doesn’t get all starry-eyed at the snow elf rituals. Oh, nice blessing. Aravi is ready to shoot the crap out of some things.

Those little glowy critters were neat. I loved Aravi’s reaction to them. Ugh, and to that chaurus hunter.

Serana always finds something gross to bring to the fight. At least it’s not spiders this time.

Interesting how in the Elder Scrolls there are always a last remaining Mer hidden somewhere. We encountered a bloated Dwemer suffering of Corpus in Morrowind. We meet an ancient Ayleid named Umaril in Oblivion and now we meet this Snow Elf. Serana seemed fascinated by Snow Elf magic . . . and later finds all that water carrying a bunch of bologna

Through the wayshrine it is. With Auriel's blessing I honestly doubt Aravi would find too much trouble despite the number of the pig-nosed Falmer.

Rain of fire is a nice action shot. Fire doesn't matter much when huge stones block it from burning her and rain falls to wash it all away.

Hmm. Not just a pretty face but a pretty face nonetheless. Those with pretty faces can often be dangerous, too, I think.

The arrival! Can't tell if it is a friend or foe? But since Aravi in her pretty warm cloak has her bow drawn I think it is the latter.

@SubRosa: I agree, the Khajiit and Argonians look quite a bit better in Skyrim. The same artist worked on both, I don’t remember her name.

I actually kind of agree with Serana with the water jug.

Your comment on my second screen shot inspired an alternative title.

Serana is ok. Aravi would like her better if she wasn’t a vampire. And she’s no Kharjo like you noted!

Aravi has to be more careful than Buffy with the dragons. She doesn’t have the magic resistance Buffy does.

@DE: The Last Elf seems to be some on going thing they like to use.

She high enough level at this point that she shouldn’t have any issues with the falmer. At low levels though, she has a very rough time with them.

Aravi needs to hide from dragon attacks. The worst is when one pounces her in an open field.

I seem to have messed up my videos, I have multiple copies of the same events recorded. There was a problem a while back where I had to rush upload everything to youtube, and of course nothing stayed in order. The next events are going to have to begin in the middle of a video rather than where the previous one left off. Aravi’s equipment is a little different as well.

Arrow 1 is some amazing timing! Is that a Skyforged Shield in the background?

Aravi has quite a disturbing grin in #2. That is the last thing someone saw!

#3 is the best one. I love the rays of the sun behind the arrow in flight. I missed Aravi completely the first time I looked at it.

Like SubRosa, I got nervous at the chittering, then saw it was Serana’s reanimate. Wow, Aravi’s a good swimmer!

Woot, some great arrow shots! What wonderful close-up action captures. SubRosa is right - the third one of the arrow in the sun is so captivating that it also took me a moment to realize that Aravi was even in the shot! That’s a great (and warm-looking) cape she has on.

Hmm, I don’t suppose the dead girl will volunteer for the dangerous icy swim. That little room was a neat find. I have to guess the skeleton was a snow elf on pilgrimage who found a peaceful end.

The arrow in Arrow 1 looks exceptionally wicked. I don’t think I’ll ever overlook steel arrows again.

Arrow 2 looks like sharp point, sharp claws, sharp teeth. Yikes!

Arrow 3 is so icily beautiful it has the look of a Christmas card if not the subject matter. Gorgeous!!

Aravi is full of weapons! She's packed! And in a cave like Darkfall, she couldn't be more prepared. Sort of hard when one is in a frenzy killing chaurus and suddenly Serana reanimates one out of the blue . . . she does like playing puppetmaster with dead things, doesn't she?

Arrow 1- Aravi looks pissed. And that arrow looks hella sharp! Not a good combination for whoever is in her aim.

Arrow 2- Arrow away. I wonder if she's hunting an animal or a person here. I'm willing to wager a troll. That's a nice coat she has on.

Arrow 3- Probably the best one. The sun, the snow and the trees and the arrow mid-flight is captivating indeed.

@SubRosa: It would have been ok except that I had a harddrive problem and needed to upload everything I had all at once. Now I can’t remember which is which! When it was all just on my HDD I just looked at dates on the videos.

Yeah, Serana scared Aravi with reanimating the chaurus. That chittering.

Kharjo is holding a Skyforged shield in that first screen. It’s added by immersive armors pack.

@Grits: That was a fun find. There are other caves with similar hidden rooms, which is why Aravi thought to check that one.

Steel’s a good base arrow for a long time. Aravi typically uses them until Orcish is abundant.

More Falmer. Ugh. And I notice that Serana could not pass up the opportunity to shoot Aravi in the back! That was a neat stab into the neck to finish that Falmer off.

The Gleamblossoms always make me think of the Gin Blossoms...

Ooh, that Falmer Peacemonger Warmonger almost got Aravi! Hurry up with that healing!

She's not going to take the Falmer Ear? You can make poison from that.

Good to see Serana pulling her own weight. She dropped that one Falmer all on her own.

I always liked that big waterfall room. Watch for the poison plants though!

It is neat how Skyrim has these animated meshes, like these shrines and how they rise up, or how the steps to get into Blackreach fall down to open the way the way for you.


That is a nice sun at Gallows Rock. I guess Aravi cannot help but to get all beastly!

That was some busy fighting in that dark dungeon! Aravi and Serana do pretty well together. Still loving the big glowy mushroom tree things.

Neat shot with the wisp mother. I think they’re beautiful, albeit a bit troublesome at times.

It doesn't feel fair that the Forgotten Vale is forgotten. By natural standards it is one of the most beautiful locations in Skyrim. The shades of purple, blue and dark goes in so well there and the exotic glow-in-the-dark animals are a sight to behold . . . and hunt.

Aravi engaging the warmonger in battle with an arrow was cool. Those are among the hardest of foes yet she brought that falmer down. All it took was two swords and a few icy projectiles.

Gallows Rock has to be one of my favorite places to go hunting. Aravi declared open season on those werewolf hunting baddies. I mean that's some nasty poacher work they do with the werewolf heads on pikes and all. Aravi looks great in this picture, as if she's contemplating something that she's done or has to be done.

Bloody. Very blood. I don't think Serana would be pulling strings on this one. Most likely she'd get low to get a taste. Aravi's work, I'm assuming. She always had a good way with bandits

Strangely I've only thought that wisp-mothers thrived in colder climates such as Winhelm and the like or near that area. Aravi must have been surprised to encounter one near the Riften area. But in any case a good wispmother is a dead one.

Serana showed her worth in this video, even after her inauspicious start running into the dangling bones. That was way too close with that Falmer. It was neat to watch Aravi consider her poisons before the fights. That part of the cave is so pretty with all of the glowy things. The Portal to the Forgotten Vale does not look at all inviting!

Gallows Rock is my favorite of these pictures. That’s a nice thoughtful pose considering what Aravi has just gone through, and the trees and light look beautiful.

Step aside or step in the blood puddle! I love how Aravi looks in Elven armor.

Neat to see the Wispmother’s expression in this shot. She looks really neat.

@DE: The Veil is probably beautiful because it is forgotten. Nobody there to chop down the trees, make a big muddy road, and herd cattle through it.

Aravi does need to take a shot or two at those more difficult enemies.

I was watching Saving Private Ryan earlier today, and Aravi's sniper shot of the vale sabre cat reminds me of the sharpshooter in the squad.

Serana is enjoying the beautiful Skyrim weather, while another vale sabre cat comes running in!

I see you are getting the torchbugs in the daytime too. That sometimes happens in my games too.

Thanks to those scars, it is easy to tell Aravi and Jenna apart.

I imagine that Aravi is missing Kharjo. Serana’s complaints, reanimated critters, and jumping in front of Aravi’s arrow must be wearing on her nerves!

How wonderful that Aravi has a female Khajiit friend! Jenna looks awesome. I love her coloring, and her scars make her look fierce.

Aravi in the temple doesn't look happy. I don't blame her. Fighting undead can be a burden. They're mean, they stink and they gang up. Did I mention they stink?

I . . . think I have the hots for Jenna. She looks to be truly dangerous and deadly like Aravi. And those eyes and those scars! Awesome! A good rest after a long day is necessary.
