The model of computer I have, which is a Mini Notebook, doesn't allow background changes without buying a specific software or something.

Aha just over a year old, time to dust off this thread.

My current desktop is courtesy of SOHO!

I grabbed like 150 pictures of the sun and put them into a folder, and set Windows to change my background every 10 seconds to simulate it rotating in the center of my screen.

Very cool desktop!

It's Windows 8, but I've got a couple of extra bits running, Rocketdock and Rainmeter, courtesy of a similar thread of the Bethesda forums. Saw them and thought they looked cool and sounded useful, so I installed them.

Mm. You kind of have to do something like that to W8 to get anything that makes any sense lol.

Yeah, it's kind of a pain. You can't see it in the pic, because I've got the taskbar hidden, but I've also got a program installed that brings back the start menu and skips the Metro interface. So much better that way.

Because I've changed my wallpaper for the first time in years, I thought I'd drag this back up. This is only one of my wallpapers, I'm using a theme with ten or eleven and it changes every ten minutes, but this one's my favourite. The only downside to it is that I had to change my Rocketdock and Rainmeter setup, but I prefer how it looks now, so it's all good
