I guess I agree that the shotgun seems out of place. On the other hand, I can't imagine James without one. Ah well, I don't know what I think about this.

Don't worry cloudy, James is about to have the trashing of his life as well

One question, can anyone answer me what happened to Haldin, I know he has been mentioned a few times, but seeing as I never introduced him as a character yet, I am curious to what happened...(I plan to bring him in, I need to have at least one character who have an aptitude for kindness).

I believe Haldin went to Ald-ruhn with Serene. Gosh, Athyn must have had the shock of his life. Having an affair is one thing, bringing said affair home and introducing him to your husband is another!
And I don't want to have Flint get beaten up all the time. Seriously, I don't hate him or anything. I'm just playing along with how I've developed him. Unable to fight anything more than a goblin in direct combat, yet unwilling to run away when there are friends still nearby. Unfortunately, that sometimes leads to a big beating.
Oh, and the Playground is past its post limit as well.

So, expect Haldin to pop up soon

Now now! Just because Haldin had a crush on Serene didn´t mean they actually had an affair! And Athyn is such a sweet man, he also is so secure with his Serene that it really went pretty well. Satyana was luckily brought up by those three...and of course it would be so cool if he turned up again...Satyana would just love it. Maybr She and him could find a way to honor Telina?

Unless someone takes over Mannimarco, niether Ian nor Cerpin can budge. Don't look at me, it's been stated already that I have enough characters! And until the Necromancer plot moves forward, all this progress in the other plot will be forced to slam into a stop sign..... unless we disregard Mannimarco altogether.

Even though Mannimarco isn't to die, I'd like for Ian to be able to snatch Kirana's soul gem and destroy it during the melee. Kirana will choose to return into Ian's body. If anyone can complete Ian, it's Kirana, she knows him best.

Well, Flogir wouldn't care who heals him just as long as he gets healed. I know Satyana might be a bit busy taking care of Telina's body or possibly helping Amrita save Rann. It's totally up to you minque, Satyana has quite a few options she could do.

How about this? Mannimarco gets pushed into a corner and wants to take Kirana's 'soul energy' as a last resort. Ian however intervenes and cuts off his arm or something and snatches the gem.
Also, when are we going to do the final showdown between the three forces?
Lord Revan
Oct 14 2007, 04:04 AM
That works, the Narza'Tai are ordered to keep the bulk of the undead of Cerpin and Ian's backs, but their orders don't restrain them from pitching in on the hero(ish) vs. the undead heroes, if only to slay a couple before facing off against conventional undead again.
But maybe Ian should cleave through the gem and a part of Mannimarco's hand, less trouble than slicing off most of the appendage and then breaking the soulgem in a second strike.

I was thinking of the fast forward. It is one year, right? Combine that with the time Flint has already spent away from home, I'm thinking of adding some pressure to him.
Specifically, I'm planning to let him go home after the battle, only to find his family missing, with everyone denying their (and his) existence. It's nothing magical though, just payback followed by heavy intimidation
from his mafia-family. Gives me the chance to bring in a truly evil character.
Or am I thinking too far ahead?

Ok, so what's going to happen next in the massive battle against Mannimarco? I want to give Cerpin a chance to reply before I try something outrageous again. Calling the whole ecosystem into battle might have been a bit too much.
So is Cerpin going to close with the Necromancer, or at least attack him and not all the zombies littering the place?
Once close, Ian should have little problem wiping the floor with the undead master. So in his case, I envision Mannimarco becoming increasingly desperate as Ian breaks through the ranks, and ready to use Kirana as either a battery or a hostage. Or both. ,,Don't move, or I'll shatter this woman's soul and use it to fuel my powers!" Yeah, both would work.

I'd say we'll kick his corpse and then have his soul be banished to Oblivion. Maybe POS will return and bring him back someday, maybe not. But as far as I'm concerned, he and his army will be out of the rp. The zombies will either drop dead or cease to react at all while higher level undead will gain a mind of their own. (I expect them to flee.)

If we want to hold off on the final battle I can edit my post and save it to later.
Or the Silhoutte could reign his forces in for the time being. Btw, when was Florodine last active?
Lord Revan
Nov 18 2007, 08:53 PM
Before all hell breaks loose, Issac is going to ask Karn if the Narza'Tai can take the surviving civilians under their charge (including Satyana, there won't be many chances to heal/comfort people in the upcoming melee). That alright Minque?
The battle will end up with the Morrowind Army retreating (either to the Arena, Market, or Arboreum Districts or sewers). And then in the final battle the Silhoutte's forces are largely slaughtered to a much more managable number.
If the original plan is intact, the immortal Silhoutte will forsake his now doomed army. The Plys'Iea will swear an oath to the Silhoutte before he leaves that he will be awaiting for his return (whether or not he survives can be left to a vote; if he does, then he'll attempt to hinder Veric's maneuvers as petty revenge for awhile).

I doubt Satyana would consider sitting out. Remember the Soldin issue?
Besides, if Rann ever found out that Issac tried to make her sit out, he'd never let it go and consider it to be a concession of guilt on the whole situation with Soldin.
Anyway, how are we going to go from here? Shogun, Florodine, and POS have been absent for quite some time. Should we just reassign their characters to new players or wait it out a bit more?
And minque, sorry about not posting w/ Rahvin for a while - I completely forgot! (And it took me some time to figure out where they were last)

Well, I hope they'll return soon. Veric had been reassigned during the final of THIH already and I honestly didn't do such a good job at it. I hope Shogun can take Veric, he's the one who best knows the character, after all.
Of course I also hope that Florodine returns, but the Sil feels like a less sophisticated character to me and as a result easier to switch 'owners'.

In light of that, Ian will subtly instruct Issac to also stay with the Narza'Tai, as of yet, neither are revealing what he is planning. Issac won't leave Satyana with the assassins and civilians to fight, he'll stay to protect her.
Issac will listen to Ian, as these aren't times to argue, especially with everyone else around you capable of taking notice.

It looks like people are losing interest.
So let's wrap this one up and get to part three as quick as possible. I'll take over the Sil if there are no objections. Who wants to take Altair/Veric? Remember, we want him to be the big hero in the game.
As for now, I'll just begin the assault. Gives Flint something else to do but just stand there looking at the mob.

If he is to die then I want him there at the final battle of the war. There can be some more struggle for now, and then he'll retreat back to the Silhoutte's side.... maybe weakening the structural support of that house along the way.

Oh, well a lot of stuff has happened. I could give you a better synopsis if I remembered what was going on exactly when Jonathan left. Were we dealing with the kidnapping of Sathyana at the time?
Anyway, currently we are in the final stages of a war. Yes, a war. We've got thousands of nameless NPCs running around while our characters steal the spotlight all over the place.
Umm, so if you can tell me at what point you left, I'll try to whip up a short synopsis for you.

Ok, lessee.
Sathyana has been rescued, Soldin died, Kirana is now a voice in Ian's head. Ian has turned into a vampire, Mannimarco has been slain.
Know what? I can't really think of anything uber-important happening lately that doesn't involve the Imperial city, so I'll just give the current situation. Now half the Imperial City is held by the combined Bruman and Morrowind army, with the other half in the hands of the Silhouette's mob of Goblins, bandits and his more skilled personal Akaviri bodyguards. Right now, the Silhouette is attacking a breach at full force. This is meant to be the final battle, you see.
Character locations:
Flogir: At the breach, among the melee-fighters. He's the commander in charge.
Altair: Somewhere nearby, I assume. He's the other commander around.
Voltar: Next to Altair, I'd say.
Rahvin and Brianna: I forgot where they were, but last time I checked, they were standing at the gates to the Temple district and wanted to get married.
Karn: Same place as Flogir. He's now a semi-good guy.
Green-Root: Same place again.
Flint: On top of the wall, commanding a group of archers while doing weird stuff with his crazy staff.
Odrik: A named NPC. He's behind the main lines and the commander of Bruma's Trebuchet corps.
Sathyana, Issac and Aerona: Somewhere in the safe parts of the city. Issac wants Sathyana and all non-combatants to get out through the sewers If I'm correct.
Dan, amrita and Rann: In an abandoned building in the friendly portion of the city. They're fighting one of the Sil's most powerful warriors. Which leads me to...
Plys'Iea: The Sil's most powerful warrior. Superficially resembles a huge Argonian clad in weird armour.
There are probably more, but I can't quite remember them.
As for how to get Jonathan back in, I suppose there are two methods.
1: He's in the safe regions, still getting drunk. Unlikely though, cause everyone has been pressed into working by now.
2: He's in the Silhouette's portion of the city. Since he looks like a good for nothing bandit by now and seems more interested in drinking than anything, I can imagine him being just about ignored by everyone there.
I still suggest you read at least the last playground in full. It's better than any synopsis I can give you.
Edit: I found an earlier synopsis which is still valid for the most part. But scratch Mannimarco, he got wiped out.
Veric is a baddie in the rp, but at the moment he is undercover and only a select few even know he is around. His current identity is that of Altair, an Altmer who dreams of turning the Empire into a republic. Most people consider him pure good (excluding those who know his true identity).
The current situation is quite grim. A huge army is laying siege on the Imperial city and despite having held off several assaults, the good guys are still heavily outnumbered and probably won't last long. Ok, that is the situation. I'm not as good at writing these things as some others are.
Factions:
Silhouette: Some mysterious being hidden behind a cloak. At the moment, it is laying siege on the Imperial city. At its command are countless troops, including lots of Akaviri snakepeople, goblins, vampires (I think, or did mannimarco get the vamps?), Orcs, bandits, one badass alien and general unpleasant stuff.
PCs: The Silhouette and the Plys'iea (alien badass.)
The Alliance: This faction consists of the Morrowind army, a Bruman army and most good guys. It is under the joint command of Flogir and Altair. Most good guys fight with the army, but they don't follow orders as the NPCs do.
PCs: Flogir, Altair, Voltar, Rann, Rahvin, Brianna, Sathyana, Eurod, Astratus, Aerona, Flint, anyone I missed.
Narza'Thai: This is what's left of the Dark Brotherhood. They've reformed under Karn as a force whose only purpose is maintaining the strenght of the Empire. At the moment, they are in effect part of the alliance, but they have their own chain of command. Their main base is somewhere in the sewers, which have become the exclusive territory of the Tai. They are also in yet another alliance with Ian, the 'trash can'. The Narza'tai is also fortunate enough to have its leader know the truth about Altair, which will keep them outside the man's corrupting influence.
PCs: Karn, Patholos, Green-Root, Ian and his souls (unofficial alliance.)
Veric's faction: This one is a small part of the Alliance. It consists of a whopping two PCs and zero NPCs. The goal of this faction is to get Altair on the throne by gaining everyone's trust.
PCs: Altair, Voltar. (Amrita now as well)
Mannimarco's faction: Once part of the Silhouette's army, Mannimarco smelled greater glory and went rogue, taking a crapload of zombies with him. (And pulling more out of the ground when his current supply runs dry.) Mannimarco's goals are unclear to me, but he has managed to change the war into a three-sided free for all.
PCs: Mannimarco. (wiped out. BZZZZZTTT GAME OVER MAN!)

Funny, I just realize that I've been involved in four of these events. Pirate ship and mountain-top, Fervus. Forest, Flint (with help, mind you). Hmm, does this mean that I'm simply a destructive personality?
