Florodine of Hlaalu
yes I think so, I certainly hope so haha, if it keeps up at this rate I am not sure how though...we'd love for you to join us when it starts though.
Dantrag
yeah, we need to get moving on this, but I've been pretty busy.

Soon school will be over though, and free time will abound.
Florodine of Hlaalu
hurray! And then the RP can pick up, I think it's metal's turn to post.
Dantrag
You guys just want to wrap up this battle with the Silhouette in a couple posts and then focus on Cloud Ruler so we can move on to part 3?

I just hate to see this die.
Florodine of Hlaalu
yeah I want to wrap it up and start three. If we go to cloud ruler then it will die haha, I say we start the next one like, a year later.

I just need to have you post Danny, and then I can post how the Silhouette gets banished.
minque
Ok...hmm what about the good guys? The civilians....we need to wrap them up as well...
Florodine of Hlaalu
Well I suppose you could end with a few posts too if you wanted. However, I was thinking if it just ended here with the banishment, it would end on an epic note. Then we could start off the next one and explain what has happened in the year that has gone by without the Silhouette. Since besides the evacuation, once the Silhouette is gone there is no enormous event.

This is my idea:

wrap up this RP pretty quick, but not too quickly.

Instead of the whole Cloud Ruler siege idea, just have the Tsaeci army kind of dissipate. Or so the heroes think. Veric can make contact with the snake-man general (Agent Griff's character, right?) and recruit him for later use. Same goes for the Plys'Iea. (Assuming, of course, that both Lord Revan and Agent Griff are okay with that.)

Also, I think we should just make a post in this thread to tell each other where we want our characters to be when the new RP starts and a general idea of what they've been up to during the one year we 'fast forwarded' through. That way, we can make sure none of the stories conflict. An example of such a post:

Veric, after gaining much respect for his pivotal role in turning the tide of the Akaviri Invasion, is able to become a well-renowned figure in Imperial politics. In a couple short months, he is given a seat on the Grand Council, where he becomes an outspoken advocate for democracy, and becomes quite popular for it. The democracy he creates is ruled by a Council consisting of an equal number of representatives from each province of Tamriel. Though it is unknown to most, he actually plans on becoming the sole ruler. The way he hopes to attain this goal is by creating a crisis (the Akaviri army perhaps?) that will force the council to choose a single leader to have complete 'temporary' control during the troublesome times. (Think like in Star Wars, how the Chancellor had the Senate give him emergency powers and he became Emperor)
jack cloudy
Or like in Rome during the Republic, where the senate elected a Dictator for half a year whenever there was a crisis. (Which means, just about every two years or so.)

Anyway, lessee.

Sin: Sin would probably be in the IC, investigating the lingering traces of the spell the Sil attempted to cast. He's been at it for a year, but didn't find out much.

Flint: Flint is...gone. I love the fella, but I can't give him a plausible reason to stick around. He's got family back in High Rock so yeah. He's out.

That means I need to figure out a new second. Maybe a 'bad guy' for once and unlike Green-Root, one who stays bad. I think I'll raid the internet for ideas.
Lord Revan

I don't know about the akaviri General, but the Plys'Iea would more likely hold a very deep vandetta against Veric/Altair (he is witnessing the Sil's banishment after all). If not specifically Altair, then the government of Tamriel. Even though the war is over and the Akaviri won't be as much of a threat, he'll be causing his own brand of trouble here and there.

As for Veric's shapeshifting, I'm thinking it would not quite mask his identity from the Plys'Iea, who isn't as dependant on sight alone as most Tamrielics do. Still, he'd need to be close to "feel" Veric's real presence. Not that he'd be able to instantly know what Veric really looks like (unless he's currently in that form) but he would know Veric was a shapeshifter.

Dalrus, having reformed the mages guild will become Arch Mage. Like Veric and Voltar, she played a large role in the banishment of the Silhouette and is, like the other two, a national hero. She will also have a seat on the council with Veric. She has developed a close relationship with Rann again and the spark of a relationship is starting to form. Dalrus is also good friends and confidants with Veric and Voltar, the only two mages who Dalrus sees as formidable mages.
Lord Revan

Ian and Kirana, still suspecting Veric and Volatr of treachery, will be searching the shadows for hard evidence to support their suspicions. Neither will move against the mages until they find such "dirt" or the regime starts to deteriorate (sp?). Issac will want to try to make a life for himself that allows him to spend time with Satyana (possibly moving to Chorrol and working in the Countess' court).

Karn will do all that is possible to consolidate the Narza'Tai, to forge them into a force that will survive long after he passes away. As Veric comes to power, the assassin will begin sabotaging Veric's operations and slowly spreading doubt among the lower classes around Cyrodiil's borders.
When forces come to quell possible rebellions, the Narza'Tai eliminate said forces before they arrive at their destination, which is why many small or outlying communities give them amnesty and cover their presence in the area.

Ok...Satyana will of course be with Issac! She'd even like to marry him.. ohmy.gif They could go back to Chorrol, so Tyana could finish her studies at the university...The main thing is I'd like them to be together, being a family..with all what it means... wink.gif

Also I'd like Satyana to make things right with Rann.....if Danny hasn't any other things in mind of course.... wacko.gif

As for Brianna I'd like her to have some kind of life with Rahvin....They deserve some happiness! Also..they could have another child..... hubbahubba.gif With special powers...

Shortly after the battle, Rann left Cyrodiil with no explanation. He spent a few weeks aiding refugees and helping Imperial City's repair crews, but soon began to show signs of agitation and restlessness. Finally, he decided that he had to travel to Summerset Isle, and before he left he told only four people: his father, Amrita, Dalrus, and Altair.

What nobody knew, however, was that Altair was the one that planned Rann's journey.

Now, a year later, Rann is on the return trip back to Cyrodiil, and has no idea of what to expect on his arrival.
The Metal Mallet
Voltar, one of the heroes from the defeat of the Silhouette, remained by "Altair's" side as a "counselor". With the rise of Altair's position, Voltar is now one of the members of the council and still closely confides in Altair's wishes.

Amrita, much like his brother, returned to a reasonably reclusive life. She still possesses Veric's amulet and at her master's bidding, she has performed "accidents" for politicians that posed any problems for Veric's rise in power. She remains in Cyrodil, but only keeps tides with Voltar and Veric.

Flogir attempted to return to his simple life of trading but due to his valiant display in the defense of the Imperial City, the public strongly convinced him to return to soldiering, this time as the General of Home Defense for the rebuilt Imperial City.
Olen
I think now would be a good time to plug in the character I was going to get caught up in the retreat to cloud ruler so I shall end my lurking.

Indor had a reasonable view of the final battle and after seeing the destruction of white gold tower he went to investigate that and got caught up in the rebuilding. He sold his skills and knowledge to raise some money and carried on studies of both the Ayleids and of the silhouette's spell. He hasn't achieved much other than a reputation as an alchemist and some interesting but enteirly esoteric knowledge about ayleid magic and is still based in the imperial city though he is getting bored.
Florodine of Hlaalu
nice! I'll be excited to see you get involved in the next RP!
Dantrag
I guess I will go ahead and put up a character thread, that way we can add revamped character sheets as well as new characters.
Florodine of Hlaalu
okay, and I will PM you a story soon. We can both work on it!
