I'd say, give it a shot. I honestly don't know what to do with the Sil, so I'm a bit slow right now. I'll see if I can update him tomorrow and give you a shot at it.

Say, do you want your guy to be the messenger telling about the retreat going on?
Agent Griff
What exactly do you mean? What messenger? Oh, now I see. Yes, that would be perfect. It wouldn't seem too made up either. Great. I'll go for it!
Dantrag
Before I post, what exactly is the situation over by the rafts? Did the Plys'Iea leave already, or is he still causing trouble over there?
Agent Griff
As far as I know he's still horsing around with the guards but the Narza Tai are having a little target practice session with him. If I'm not mistaken I think one of Ian's character's also went off to face him.
Lord Revan
Yes, I'm roleplaying a fight between two of my own characters, I never imagined this when I first joined....... With the obvious exception of someone and Karn. Oh well, the path that goes down to the rafts spirals around the mesa that the Imperial Prison sit on (how do mesas like that form so close to each other?) He dropped down from the middle of the spiral to the bottom, so the crowd can move forward, but not for long before the encounter him.

And if you're still convinced the messenger was random, Griff, look at the last page of the previous playground and it won't be random anymore. The Mesa is still a long walk (arrow-shot distance), for people carrying wounded and stuff, from the flotilla.
As it is, the path ends on the opposite side of the mesa from the shore with the rafts, so the civves would have to circle around to get there.
Priest of Sithis
can i get an update on Patholos, Astratus, and of course, the king of worms

Who is dead?
Who is where?
Wounds?
Romances (not likely) , mingling with others, etc.?
Moods?
Major Movements?
Updates on Equipment?
New enemies, New Friends?
Update on status of Astratus (did not mean to rhyme), is he werewolf?
Agent Griff
The King of Worms is dead. He was killed by Ian and some other guy, I can't exactly remember. Another member of the Narza Tai if I'm not mistaken. Commander Astratus has become a werewolf and is currently locked up in quarantine because of his disease. Regarding Patholos, I cannot tell because I joined the RP late.

The others can surely give you a better update.
Lord Revan

The good guys are all preparing to leave the city, and the Narza'Tai will bring Astratus with them (I haven't mentioned him in awhile, so you can decide if he's mostly werewolf or only a little bit). Most of the characters are heading to the north-eastern sections of the IC (Market District and Prison). The SIlhoutte is largely unaware of their retreat, but some of the Akaviri army has been tipped off and will be waiting when they try and cross Lake Rumare.

We've received an Akaviri General and a telepathic mute to our character arena, but other than that we have nobody new.
Priest of Sithis
i resurrected mannimarco for a second time, he will not directly involve the heroes as of now, he is too weak...
he is going to recouperate and strike back at the silhouette, and then try and find some ancient magic, he is too weak to take on Ian..... by himself.

I will assume patholos has kept out of the scenes and remained with the Narza' Tai, he will be assisting with the retreat.

Astratus will not have any dialogue, except with Hircine, who knows, maybe the Princes do have pity....
Florodine of Hlaalu
Oi, back, sorry sorry sorry for being gone. I'd allow you to hit me if I knew you. I just got too busy with AP stuff and haven't really been on that much, college apps, AP, girlfriend, but second semester is not going to be as hard. I stopped coming on in a lull period and then just forgot to check back.

I read most of this thread, so The Sillhouette has taken the IC? And they are retreating. Dalrus will return and she will inform them that in Skingrad, Anvil and Bruma she has set up a new mages guild. Eurod will be fine since it is not a full moon and will still be leading the Bruma army, unless you killed him, which is fine since I deserve that haha.

Anyway, sorry again. Any major things I should know?
Lord Revan
Well. To startoff, the Sil has not fully taken control, he's got Talos Plaza, taking Green Emp. Way, and everywhere else is either under Morrowind control or is unclaimed.

Eurod is still locked up inside a derelict house, that was Jack and Dantrag's doing, I was not involved.
The Plys'Iea is terrorizing civilians and soldiers alike, and everyone but Veric and Voltar are in the northeast area of City Isle or getting there.

And finally, break out the cattle prod, cause I'm going to get a lot of milage out this battery..... I'm so cruel. laugh.gif
The Metal Mallet
I think we ultimately decided the fate for the Silhouette all ready. "Altair" and Voltar plan to learn a spell that will banish the Silhouette from Nirn if I remember correctly. Right now they are in the process of finding and altering the spell required to do this.

Once the Silhouette is banished, the Akaviri are still going to take the IC but now they won't be as motivated to finish off the army. Once we get rid of the enemy army we plan on starting THiH 3 with "Altair" now ruling Cyrodil.

At least, I think that's the plan right?
Lord Revan

Pretty much MM, the Akaviri army will pursue the Tamrielics (what's with everyone assuming the nationalities end in "-ian?"). I assume Saverian (I know I didn't spell it right), will take over, and the Plys'Iea will accept his leadership (he was the equivelant of a sergeant among his own people, so becoming a general isn't on his list of things to do).

Although, corporal Flogir became co-commander Flogir, but the Plys'Iea has pt no pot such ambitions.
The Akaviri will chase the army to Cloud Ruler Temple, where the Tamrielics will make a final stand (hopefully there will be some more 300 quotes along the way).

Either the Plys'Iea will perish at some point in the final battle or desert to fight another day (eventually hindering Veric's regime).
Agent Griff
According to Jack's wishes during his "tenure" as Silhouette I've had my character, Savirien the Akaviri general, gather a part of the Akaviri army to conquer the Tower. As far as I know, Voltar and Altair are inside right? Will they have a conflict with the Akaviri forces or while they skedaddle out of there before the Akaviri have a chance to surround the Tower?
Florodine of Hlaalu
alright, yeah a banishing spell would be a good thing, anything else would probably result in an epic battle that would destroy the city haha. When will Veric put the spell on him, I am trying to think of a scenario when he would be able to? I am thinking Dalrus, Veric and another character will be hurling spells back and forth at the Silhouette and then the banishing spell hits him.
jack cloudy
Actually, I thought they'd skipped to Veric's dimension by now. Entering the tower was just a decoy to keep people from realizing Altair's true identity.

And Griff, I can understand you when you said the Sil feels random. The moment Flo returns....BOOM Fireballs galore! Guess I didn't play him aggressive enough. biggrin.gif
Florodine of Hlaalu
guess not, he is not supposed to be evil in the way that a person in a movie would play him, he is an ancient evil, not really able to be comprehended by others. He was instructed to destroy Tamriel's greatest power and this means destroying it's largest city. You just kind of have to understand his mindset, which is hard to grasp as he doesn't really have many emotions.
jack cloudy
I know. The point I was trying to bring is that I also know less about the Sil than you do. I was merely amused at the change in behaviour that meant when I took over for a moment. But now that he's back to his normal routine, I'm going to put up a few barriers, ok?
Florodine of Hlaalu
yeah I realized that last post looked rude, it wasn't supposed to haha. Anyway, yeah barriers are good, that way he doesn't kill any more people trying to escape. Thanks for taking him while I was gone, I really do appreciate that.
Lord Revan

Satyana's already had some suspicion about Ian having multiple souls in his body, will she notice the difference when Kirana takes over. Unlike other fantasies, there's no tell-tales on can see with the naked eye.
Even if Ian's eye color changed like when Cerpin takes control of someone, he and Kirana have the same eye color anyway. smile.gif Ian can be down (KO) from now on, but not out.
Lord Revan

Ok, nevermind the Plys'Iea errant thoughts. Shall I wound Rann? Significantly or hardly at all?
Priest of Sithis
wondering if patholos should live... he wants to.

Mannimarco will regain most of his magic, if that is good with all of you. Wanting Mannimarco to encounter a "dead city" meaning Mannimarco will get to the imperial city, say, a month after everyone has left? If we plan on recapturing the imperial city, then Mannimarco will not approach, he is too weak and the like.
Olen
Looks like people are starting to withdraw from the IC so I will end my lurking and write in my character now it makes sense. One question - is Bleaker's Way still unharmed? Is anything planned for it? I didn't see anything suggesting either but I thought I'd check.
minque
I really wih something could be done to Satyana's and Rann's relation! I just hate it to see them not being friends....but if that's what you want Danny it's ok....geee I do have to post but I'm still thinking of how I will proceed...

Oh and Brianna-Rahvin....got to do something there..yup!
jack cloudy
1: Isn't Flint on the other side of the Lake from the Sil, helping the civilians?

Well, when the Sil started blasting soldiers, I assumed he was blasting my phalanx. Sorry. Though this is no problem really. After all, Flint is the master of leaping.

2: By the way, did Green-Root tell Kalsh about the hidden tomes in Lake Rumare?

He didn't, but he might have implied somewhat. You want Kalsh to find the tomes?

3: Bleaker's way. I have no idea even where that place is. (One of these days, I must download a map of the city and study it till my brain bursts.)
That said, is it at the northwestern portion of the city? If so, it is being overrun by snakes, one alien and a really nasty mage right now.

What exactly did you have planned?
Olen
Its a very small town a little north of the city on the road to Bruma. I was going to introduce my character staying at the inn there as the village evacuates but have him go towards the city in the hope of seeing a snakeman (he's got no idea and is cuirious). But seeing as its on the way to Bruma I thought it might be in use or destroyed.

Seeing as no one's heard of it I'll just do it and if its a problem I can edit, it seemed somewhat more likely to have a character appear there than in the city at this stage...

Edit: Written him in.
Florodine of Hlaalu
When I had the Silhouette attack, I had him in the area where Rann/Amrita were fighting to hold off the snakemen. Is that where Flint is?
jack cloudy
Umm, no. Flint is at the ambush, where other snakemen are.

Ok, while he can do it easily, I won't make Flint jump all across the lake. No, sir. He's going to fire a single bolt and then get back to the ambush.

Ok, there seems to have come up a discussion over the silence spell I used. Apparently, we're following different ideas of what it does. While it doesn't really matter anymore (it's been dodged and Rann isn't a caster anyway), I still want to continue the discussion. Who knows, it might come in usefull if we start having a lot of mage-to-mage fights.

My reasoning about what Silence does is this:

Sound is formed by vibrations in a medium, like air. Silence keeps someone from talking, so I figured it actually stopped these vibrations. It felt more reasonable to me than saying the Silence spell paralyzes the tongue or something. As long as you can breathe, you can still make sounds. Maybe you won't be able to form coherent words, but you won't be silenced.

So my definition of silence is the absolute absense of sound, which are vibrations.

The Plys'Iea's spines detect vibrations. So I figured that if it had hit, it might have worked as a blinding spell of sorts.
Lord Revan

Sorry for not replying earlier, but yes, it would be good for Kalsh to grab the tomes on her way through Lake Rumare, assuming she swims rather than Narza'Tai teleport.

There are a number of ways the tomes might have a chance at more relevance. One might even have a copy of Veric's prophesy in it (clear the path for the anti-Veric group's plotline).

Right, but silence spells work on the target, not the area around the target. So if what you said is true, then the spell would have stopped the spines themselves from vibrating, but it wouldn't have stopped them from reading vibrations around it.

It would be like putting a silence spell on yourself to keep from feeling an earthquake otherwise.
Lord Revan

I'm glad to see I didn't waste my money on that cyber-defibulator. Nearly fried my computer though, it's small price to pay! bigsmile.gif
Dantrag
Is this still alive? huh.gif

If so, I think we should plan out this whole Silhouette fight so that it isn't too short or long and to make sure we're all on the same page.

Agent Griff
It's surely alive, just that I think the members are taking a slight breather. They might have other problems on their minds, like real life or perhaps other pressing assignments.
Florodine of Hlaalu
i check back every day still to see if there is a post
Florodine of Hlaalu
sorry for the double post but I think we should finish this soon. Come on everyone just a little bit further! I think after that we can either start the new RP(my hope) or let it die, which appears the more likely of the two. But we have to finish this one!
Lord Revan

I'll try and move Ian/Kirana and Karn/Narza'Tai forward. But the Plys'Iea can't budge until Veric and Voltar banish the Sil. Issac can't do that much either if Minque doesn't come back and reply with Satyana.
Dantrag
Florodine/Mallet, do you want to just hurry up and finish the Silhouette battle, or go ahead and take our time?
minque
Uhhh ok I'll try to find my last Satyana-post and Issac's reply and get on with it!

So shall Brianna go along and fight together vwith her son? Or will Rahvin maybe not allow it? wink.gif
Florodine of Hlaalu
Danny, we could make it epic but short and sweet haha. We'll have them cast a few blows, the Sil is going to do a spell that nearly destroys the whole area, he will start to do an incredibly powerful spell that would mean certain death for anyone within the area. That is when Veric hits him with the spell in between the eyes, the Sil's spell suddenly stops, the energy it took cracks the White and Gold tower in half. The Sil is banished, Veric, Dalrus and Voltar are regarded as the saviors of the empire.

Sound good?
Lord Revan

The Plys'Iea is almost breathing down their necks. After he sees the war leader is vanquished, he'll try and take revenge. Perhaps hit Veric, Voltar, or Dalrus with his infamous staff-throwing skills before retreating.

He'll get a different weapon in between the march to CRT and the next RP.
The Metal Mallet
Sounds epic enough to me, Florodine. I'm happy enough with that one.
Florodine of Hlaalu
alright cool!
Dantrag
sounds good to me too.
Florodine of Hlaalu
Im going to go on tomorrow at around 3 tomorrow, I can check back until about 7 then I won't be able to check for two days. So if you are all available to come on between 3-5 we could finish it in a few posts.
Dantrag
I know that it's to late now, but I was working anyway. Sorry. sad.gif
Florodine of Hlaalu
its okay, I will try to get on tomorrow night. I think its Metal's turn to post anyway.
The Metal Mallet
Hehe, yea, I only just found time to do this. This last week has been busy.
Florodine of Hlaalu
no problem, I know how that is haha.
LadySaira
