Karn
After chasing the two a distance, Karn saw them meet up with the other adventurers. The hunter also heard what they intended to do, and was left with a dilema. I can't fly, the extra wieght will shorten the jumps, but given time they'll elude me!
Gripping the amulet in his hand he called, Veric, that breton intends to spirit them away with those jump spells. I can't match that with speed alone, revealing myself is unwise, but letting them slip away is not acceptable either!

Veric
Veric sneered and said to Voltar, "Our Karn is already running into problems..."
He concentrated his thoughts no Karn. You're a resourceful assassin, figure things out yourself. You're too far for me to aid you. They shouldn't be jumping far. Everyone is packed into this area pretty tight. You should be able to keep up with them for that long. That or you can rush to their aid so they don't have to fly away.
OOC: sry, couldn't come up with much that wouldn't be too intruding.

Karn
Annoyed he replied, if it came to it I imagine I could keep up with them for awhile. And I've already tried unseccesfully to kill them all, kidnapped and poisoned one of them only to lose that hostage to some heroicly insane lich that left that staff you were gawking at. They won't trust me in the least, so I'll do my best to follow them.....
Karn was, in part, venting his frustration on the power-hungry Breton. The ninja was an opportunist at heart, grew more frustrated by his increased immersion into this conflict. It made him feel more and more like a pawn.
That felt demeaning; he was determined to find a suitable way to disentangle himself from this mess.
The Sage
When she suddenly got a feeling of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, the sage shed her invisibilty and motioned all the battlemages to follow. With them all following, if not relouctantly, she followed her hunch past a cluster of boulders.
Her instinct had proved correct as they spotted a group of adventurers fighting a horde of orcs and goblins. Grinning to herself, she turned to the battlemages. "Let's help these people, we need all the allies we can get in this place."
All of them nodded, and the mages leapt into the fray. Loosing a storm of spells upon the enemy's exposed flank, burning, freezing, and sapping the strength from the rear guard.
OCC: So will the group use the distraction to flee, or will they rally to the new support?

Flint Ironwood, we have lift-off!
Sodsa and Dalrus followed.
,,Alright, here we go." Flint was about to call out when suddenly spells began to whizz all around them. Looking up, the Breton saw a group of battlemages doing what they do best.
He jumped. For a moment, it seemed as if the extra weight would keep him firmly planted to the ground but an added feather spell was enough to get them up in the air.
Still, he could not jump as far as he would've liked. Seeing as how it was probably safest, he landed near the group of battlemages, feeling a sharp spear of pain stab up through his wounded arm.
,,Thanks, we owe you one." Flint gasped, before everything blackened and he passed out.

The Sage
When all the adventurers catapulted into the are, she couldn't help but be impressed by the jump they made with all their wieght.
Though inclined to revive the breton, the current battle was more pressing at the moment.
An orc leapt through the air toward the fallen breton. The sage froze it solid with a powerful frost spell.
As the beast shattered on impact with the ground, she moved closer to the adventurers as the other mages continued to combat the goblins.
Karn
The dunmer scowled at the sudden change in events. "Veric, a group battlemages intervened for me. It would seem our foes just found some allies this far from civilization."
Issac
The setting sun left the sky a briliant crimson hue. issac didn't want to keep going when it was completely dark.
"We should try and find some sort of shelter for tonight." He advised.

He began taking large, comical steps in the direction they were heading. The cold was only getting worse, but Sadril, at least, seemed to be a little feeling better, if a bit insane.
Veric
This changes nothing. Simply be more careful not to be spotted. They will lead us to the others, accompanied with that large group of mages or not. It doesn't matter either way. Well... it will eventually, but in terms of finding them it won't.
Veric began to grow bored simply idling about. He looked to Voltar and said, "Let us follow at a distance. We are accomplishing nothing standing around here," and began walking in the direction that Karn had departed.

Flogir
Flogir felt somewhat nauseated by the imprompto flight, but landed gently enough by a group of battlemages. He then felt Flint go limp, so Flogir kept him upright before setting him carefully to the ground. He then turned around to face the enemy once more.
"All, with you're help, I think we can take em!" he shouted before throwing himself back into the fray.
Voltar
"Seems like an appropriate thing to do," Voltar said, not really caring about the unheard conversation between Veric and Karn. If Karn was having troubles doing his job, that was his problem. If he failed that proved his inadquacy, and Voltar knew that he or Veric did not like inadquacy.

The Sage
Smiling slightly as she cut into the enemy's line from the right, the sage dodged the orcs' blows and gave them all a sufficient shock to render them defenseless. In her wake she left seven orcs twitching helplessly against their now useless muscles.
Under the continued assualt, the goblins and orcs were bunching up at the end of a cliff. Taking the opportunity, she loosed a blast of telekentic energy that threw most of the remaining attackers to a lethal fall. At that point, she let the battloemages and adventurers mop up the rest, and let her magicka regenerate.

Sadril
Sadril squinted at Brianna suspiciously before snatching the bottle from her hands. Though as was his nature, Sadril did almost the exact opposite of what he was intended to do. Instead of 'shh-ing' Sadril held the bottle up in front of him for all, including Rahvin, to see and called out sarcastically, "Dearest Brianna, you shouldn't keep secrets from your lover. There is nothing to be ashamed of about drawing your blood to aid a friend. Even if he is a vampire!"
He downed the bottle quickly, though while doing so he realized for once how rude he was. Brianna had just willingly given him blood and the one thing she had not wanted him to do, he did. Sadril figured Rahvin wouldn't be upset either way, but still...
He tossed the now empty vial back to Brianna with a sincere, yet probably not redeeming, "Thanks."

When Rann fell asleep on them, Issac groaned. This situation grows more absurd with every passing hour! This war is an uphill battle from my stand point. Then he took a deep breath and exhaled, calming himself with the simple procedure.

It was a difficult thing to discribe, vampirism, at times it racked at the afflicted's will. Other times, it could be as intoxicating as lust and passion, at least when the disease was in great control. Still at different instances, it could slip through a moment of passive self-restraint, leaving you temporarily unable to control yourself.
Right now, Ian was content to let it control him, it would quicken the hunt. And the sooner this distraction is past, the sooner I can rejoin the group..... An odd scent bathed the air, the vampire reacted in an unfamiliar way, it wasn't man's instinct, but one of Porphyric Hemophilia.
The man was left puzzling over this new development, as the vampire followed the scent closer to its source......

The strange thing about this cave was that it was perfectly smooth...too smooth.
Running her fingers over the smooth texture, she suddenly stopped when she felt the weak hum of enchantment.
"Oh dear sister...still misguided I see" she chuckled softly as she drew a long silver knife. She slashed it across her wrist, and allowed the blood to splatter the wall, before she healed her wrist. She went through the door that was standing where the blood had splattered over, and immidiately got the urge to retch beacuse of the horrid smell that caught her nose.
There was something alive here...something big...smelly...and...there was more of them.
With a bang the door closed, and suddenly Telina could see the creatures that was gathered before her...vampires, Arnachrim vampires.
She looked around trying to tell how many there were. more than ten..."crap, just my luck isn't it"? she asked more to herself than anything. She drew the new sword she had crafted...an exelent weapon for vampire hunting.

Bah, I'm tired of waiting.
Flint Ironwood, waking up.
Flint slowly regained consciousness. Looking around, he saw that the battle had been won.
,,Good, it was about bloody time. Now let me cast a detection spell and figure out where the rest of the gang is." He muttered to himself and did as he planned.
After a short scan of the area he found his target.
,,Flogir, Dalrus, Sodsa. Sathyana and friends are over there. If you don't mind, I'll hop ahead and see if I can get this damned arm fixed up. The road seems to be clear of anything other than a herd of deers." He explained and was about to jump when he realized he'd forgotten something.
,,Thank you for your assistance. Flint Ironwood, in your debt. If we meet again and you require help, just ask." He said, gave a salute with his healthy arm and flew away into the night.
After a short trip, consisting of four rather short jumps, Flint landed at the camp. He clutched his arm and wobbled on his feet for a moment before the blackness cleared.
,,Ah, found you people. We got in a bit of trouble back there but we managed to get out. Flogir and the rest should arrive soon." He reported, sitting down on a log. He winced as another arrow of pain shot through his broken bones.
,,So um, who's the new guy?" He asked and immediately fired another question.
,,Nice to see you back, Sathyana. Do you know what happened? Oh, and before I forget or pass out and stuff.......does anyone know how to fix my bloody arm?"
Green-Root, cavern.
The Argonian stopped and sniffed the air.
,,We go..........left. Yes, left." He said with fake confidence. In reality, he was completely lost. Argonians weren't meant for caves.

Moderately surprised that the Breton was able to make such a powerful jump after being knocked out (not to mention with a broken arm), she watched his dissappearing form. She continued for a time, appreciating the magical display; until finally turning to the others.
"Greetings, friends, we ourselves are filled with graditude to find allies so far in the country." Her voice was filled with sincerity, and she bowed to them. "We are all from the Arcane University, exploring the enemy's territory, if you will. Perhaps it would be correct to assume you are all adventurers?"
Ian, hunting
The scent lead to a fallen tree, all manner of mushrooms and toadstools were anchored to a good deal of its surface. Ian circled around the log two times before venturing closer. The vampiric instincts were controlling these actions; though attracted to whatever made this log different from the next also made the vampire wary.
Despite his instincts, Ian had no experience with this so he couldn't tell what was attractive (and foreboding) about this place. Only when he was at arms length from it were his fears realized.......

He couldn't help but smile, he had tracked these nonbelievers across the length and breadth of the land, planning everything meticulously. All their turns-of-fortune had been his doing, watching out for them from the shadows. The news he bare made him say a quick prayer to the Dread Father.
"From nothing came everything, and everything returns to the Void," he murmured. He heard commotion further into the cave. He started to laugh, he had such little hope that these brave warriors would be able to fend off the coming evil that was at their doorstep.

Soldin, The Wilderness
Soldin was unaware of Satyana's concern for him. In fact, he was quite sure that she cared very little for him. And yet, the young Nord still had the strangest feeling in the pit of his stomach. A feeling he had never felt and could not explain. A sensation he felt when he looked upon Satyana.
He slouched down and prepared himself for the growing darkness of night, though he could not sleep yet.

Patholos, Entrance to the cave
It is time. Patholos, my Son, my trusted Son, this is your task....
Patholos snapped out of his meditative trance. Yes, Dread Father, by your will. Patholos walked out into the mouth of the cave, seeing for the first time in three days the white calm of the moon. Night, pure, serene, calm. The Void of the mortal realm. And Patholos was about to relay information to help one form of life defeat another. "In the end, everything returns to the Void," Patholos murmured. With a devious grin, he pulled out a vial of strange liquid and took a long pull. The white crystal lake that were his eyes now had a tint of green about them. Patholos laughed maniacally and said, "Dread Father, guide my steps..." as he exited the mouth of the cave.
About half a mile from the cave, Patholos noticed a campfire, illuminated by the night. He saw two figures talking, and cast a spell (Cameleon) on himself. Patholos quietly moved to a tree behind the campfire. He decided to ask and confront these people, they needed to know the news. He walked around the tree and disengaged his camouflages. "My name is Patholos, but you may call me "The Prophet....."

Issac
When a voice came from the trees, Issac spun to face the speaker. Whatever he had thought to say died in his throat.
The figure looked Dunmeri, but his eyes were bleach white and he appeared unaturally pale.
In all his knowledge only one account matched this man. A book he'd read described a group of Daedra worshippers as odd mixtures of racial traits. Dark-grey Nords, and pale Dunmer or something like that.
"Prophet of what!?" Was all Issac could muster.
Ian
A black shape landed between him and the log with a heavy thud. Even with night eye the form was vague.
It roared, its bared fangs were inches away from Ian's face. Its form became more detailed, a hunched, furry, strong form of a bipedal wolf.
werewolf, Ian thought, the vampire' blood boiled with primal predudice.
Sudden pain exploded from his right shoulder, something gave a muffled snarl.
The realization was only coherant after several second of agony. Another werewolf had bitten him on the shoulder...........

Patholos, The Prophet
"My naive friend, I am a Prophet of the Dread Father, the Lord of the Void, from which all things have come!
I need to speak with you concerning matters of survival. Please do not fear me, I mean no one any harm. The Dread Father does not desire your soul, my friend. May I call you friend?"
Patholos sat down on a stump and folded his hands across his lap. A calm sensation passed over Patholos and something close to a smile passed over his mouth. Patholos hoped that this one person would see him for a being with emotions, rather than a cold lifeless being.

The only thing I´m afraid of is loosing Rahvin...again
"I can go in first, if you are afraid...I´ve been here before!"
Sadril, Near Skyrim/Morrowind?"Pssh, I'm not scared," Sadril answered matter-of-factly. He pushed past Brianna and Rahvin and entered the cavern first. Where the other two may need a torch, he would not. Instead his nighteye served him as he inched into the cave, waiting for the others to follow.

SatyanaShe sat down beside Soldin, gently touching his arm
"Are you ok, my dear?, you look so lost....is it ok if I sit here with you for a while?
He´s lonely, in this crowd....I´d really like to know more about him...
SereneShe smiled at Flint..
"I´ll be ok, just have to lie down for a while"
She noticed the stranger talking to Issac.....but was too tired to do anything but just watch him....a bit weary
BriannaShe gave up a short laugh as Sadril pushed past her.....
Men...they always have to show offShe followed after him....into the cave. It was scary, but having Sadril in front and Rahvin behind made her feel pretty safe....for now

Soldin
Soldin looked up at Satyana and forced a smile, hoping it would ease her worry. "I'm just a bit confused right now. Worried about my home. But, how are you feeling?" he asked. It wasn't unlike him to always put others before himself. Though he rarely had the chance to.

Rahvin
Rahvin walked behind in almost total darkness. He could barely make out Brianna's dark figure in front of him, and if it weren't for his footsteps, he would have thought Sadril to be gone.
He wanted to put on a light, but feared it would bring unwanted attention to themselves. Best to stumble in the darkness for a bit.

Flint Ironwood, entering the conversation.
,,Ok, take it easy." He mumbled before turning his attention on the newcomer.
,,Geez, why are we even trying to sneak around here?" He thought slightly bitter though he did not voice his opinion.
,,What survival? Don't tell me it gets even worse than it already is." He asked Patholos.
,,Creepy eyes. I wonder what he is, something similar to a vampire perhaps? Or maybe it's just normal. It's not like I've spent my whole life around elves."
Green-Root, lost with Merethicus.
The Argonian stopped at the latest passage.
,,And here we go........right. Yes, right is where we'll go." He hissed before moving on. Merethicus had been silent for a while now.
,,He's probably laughing behind my back. It's not my fault we're lost. Argonians are not meant for caves." Green-Root thought.
Semir Grey, Cyrodiil, waiting for the army (which might never come)
Semir paced back and forth on the deck of the Blue Serpent. Waiting was always the hardest, especially when nothing went as planned. He'd expected to find the Imperial city fully occupied, with a sizeable army and a large navy. But no, the city had abandoned, leaving only his ship and its crew to defend those ancient walls from the snakes.
,,What's taking them so long? Talos, let them drown in the swamps. It would be much better for us."

Flogir
The battle against the Orcs and Goblins had been a blur. The newly found battlemages had certainly helped out, but Flogir suddenly found himself displaced from the battle. Confused, he looked around and found that they had rejoined the initial party. He also noticed that Satyana was back as well.
So, they found her, wonderful!, he thought as he walked up to the fire beside Flint and the odd looking stranger.
"How's the arm, Flint?"

Flint waved his arm.
,,A bit stiff, but otherwise it's fine. No complaints here. How are you? Any injuries?"
(yeah, well. Bedtime. Goodnight.)

Flogir, at the camp
"Just a couple a scratches and a few bruises, nothing serious," Flogir answered, "I'm glad to see that your arm was taken care of. Ya scared me there when you passed out."
He then turned his attention to the newcomer. Always the hospital one, Flogir extended his hand to the stranger.
"The name's Flogir. Who might you be?" he asked amiably.

Issac, wary
While Flogir offered to shake hands with the newcomer, Issac furrowed his brow and scowled, the latter being hidden in the failing light. The Dread Father....... Ian used that title once........ who was called that?
The user of the title continued to elude him until he simply gave up for now. Issac made a note to watch this mer carefully, whoever was the "Dread Father" wasn't a benevolent being.
The Sage
Everyone dissappeared and reformed in a meadow, there were more people gathered here than before. The Sage ignored the groupings and focused on the individuals........ until she brought her attention on a familiar Altmer lad.....
Issac? Mmm.... perhaps this group is of more importance than I originally thought. If he is here than Ian can't be far away.... She kept her surprise to find her "son" hidden, only a brief brightening of her eyes gave any hint of her emotions.
The bulk of the group were interacting with an odd Dunmer in a black cloak........
Ian
The world was a seething cauldron of pain and suffering, everything was hazy. Ian writhered as the werewolves' fangs sunk in deeper into his shoulder. The creature let go for a fraction of a second to get a better grip, but that was all that was needed.
Ian landed on the ground, then, registering that he had been released, loosed a briliant flash of light. Stunned the werewolves howled and thrashed at the air around them. Jumping to his feet, he rushed into the brush.
His shoulder slowed him down, and Ian suspected the wolf had dislocated it and torn his muscles to ribbons. At that moment in time Ian was not in any control, the vampire simply reacted..... by fleeing as swiftly as possible.
Another minute, that's probably how long I have before they get over being blinded...... He really doubted he could make good enough use of his headstart to live, but he wasn't going to sit here and get torn apart either......

Karn, spying, what else?
On a nearby tree branch bathed in inky black shadow, two faint red orbs appeared as the assassin opened his eyes. Karn had been waiting here for some time, he'd guessed where the group would move. Their voices were whispers in the wind, but he could grasp their meaning despite the distance.
The prey had reunited, as predicted and planned, Karn lifted the amulet Veric had given him from the depths of his cloak. "Veric, our foes have met southwest of Hero Hill. Satyana is with them, Serene's grandson appears unconscious, and a stranger currently has their attention."
"Serene herself seems exhuasted at the moment, and no one is keeping watch as of yet. They appear to be camping here for the night an-" Karn paused as the distant sound of a wolf howl reached his ears. He also noticed the full moon, and his heart skipped a beat. Not at all for his own safety, but because werewolves could present an unwelcome interferance.
"There are also werwolves nearby that might find the group....." The Dunmer ninja waited for a response from his client.

Patholos, at the camp
As Patholos got up to shake Flint's hand, he turned and gazed directly into Isaac's eyes. One cannot be sure where exactly the eyes are pointing, but they seemed to be pointing at him.
"My friend," Patholos said, as he shook Flint's hand, "The Dread Father is the Essence of all, without whom we would not exist. I bear no malevolence towards you or your companion. In fact, I bring grave news from the Dread Father himself. The enemy you are fighting is more than a physical form, more than just swords or spells, it is 'The Harbinger of Doom.'" With the last word a red flare shot across Patholos's eyes. He continued, "It is my task to ensure that the Dread Father is appeased, and to help you in defeating this evil." Patholos curved his mouth into something that might be called a smile. "Please, do not be frightened, I wish to help you." Seeing the stunned looks on the faces of his new "friends", Patholos again "smiled" and said, "Now, where can I find some armor, if the Dread Father needs you alive, then I need to be alive to ensure his wishes." A dark cackle burst out from the depths of Patholos and he stood up and showed his teeth, all pearly white.

The Sage
She remained silent as the individuals spoke, until the Dunmer mentioned the "Dread Father." A diety by the name of Sithis was known by that title, the founder, well, co-founder of the Dark Brotherhood, the god was said not to be Aedra or Deadra.
The Sage gave no sign whatsoever of her insight, decades of experience served that end. There had been an incident several years ago that had involved a few DB assassins, but she had nothing to draw conclusions on; thus the Sage raised no comment.
Ian, hunted hunter
The howls no longer sounded pained, now they seemed enraged, and excited....... none of those options were particularly good for Ian at the moment. His disclocated shoulder burned with every inch it moved, but Ian knew that if he slowed down his window of opportunity would shrink dramatically.
Window of opportunity? Yeah, right, the vampire kept running........ Until he nearly ran right off a sudden cliff. Ian teetered there for a moment, his senses impaired by blood loss and the consistant pain that plagued him.
Finally he stopped swaying and stood erect, evaluating the drop. 60 feet, no good enough........ Not a moment after he came to that conclusion, Ian felt something warm blow over the back of his neck and knock him off the cliff.
The werewolf had obviously not been aware of the cliff and had thrown not only its prey but also itself. Ian landed hard, then rolled the rest of the way down. When his vision cleared enough, he spotted the werewolf, head bent at an odd angle.
The vampire didn't celebrate, he started limping away from the cliff, not even noticing the pain, nor even thinking straight, just getting as far away as possible......
