Merethicus

"Mm. Thank you, Root." Merethicus takes the jug of mazte and pops it open. "You know, we could try to get out of these caverns together. It's a tad more dangerous alone, I'd say, what with this army of evil about and all." Taking a swig of mazte, he continues: "So what say you?"

Flogir, in the midst of battle

With a horizontal slash, the orc finally collapsed to the ground, clutching at his severed throat. Flogir scanned his surroundings quickly and found that the immediate area was cleared of threats. He paused to wipe the sweat from his brow and as he looked up into the sky, he was Flint floating through it.

Maybe possessing teleknesis isn't such a bad thing... he pondered just as in the blink of his eye, a blur of motion appeared before Flint. Flogir had no time to warn the Breton, so instead he decided to bring himself closer to his companion's aid. Perhaps he would find a rock or something to throw at the airborn enemy.

Voltar, with Veric and the Sage
He leaned into Veric's ear. "I believe I've spotted our companion back nearby the Hill. I suggest we wrap this discussion up quickly. I'd also like to add that the stench of Mages Guild Magic encompasses the air; this lass is not alone."

Veric

"You too, then? Alright we'll go and find Karn," Veric replied under his breath. He smiled and nodded politely to the Altmer woman, "We must leave now, sage. I've a previous appointment," he informed as he began walking almost straight towards her, for she happened to be standing between him and the battle taking place.

Soldin

"Uh thanks," Soldin said as he took the bow and quiver and attached them to his back. He wasn't really sure how to reply. The past few hours had been filled with firsts for the young Nord. This was the first time he could remember recieving anything in return for nothing; a gift.

"Are we going to Hero Hill now?" Soldin asked Rann as they walked between Isaac and Satyana, and Ian and Serene.
Lord Revan

The Sage

She let the two pass without comment, and began walking the other way. After a sufficient distance, she cast invisibility and took a direct root to where she'd left the battlemages. As expected the spot was empty, they'd all found vantage points.

The sage watched the fighting with a measure of curiosity. She formed a small pinpoint of light, waiting for the right moment to give the signal.....

Karn

The Breton evaded his attack, but it was only a minor annoyance. Karn landed on another rock andbraced for the telekinetic blast he was expecting.
In answer to the Breton's warning, he muttered. "I could just leave, but then all my effort up until now would have been wasted."

Karn noticed the Breton's limp arm, broken. The Dunmer decided to make himself scarce for the moment, until he could take advantage of their lack of vigilance. He snuck into the cavern that Green-Root had been in last he'd seen the Argonian.....

Serene

They continued walking, but the pace was slow due to Satyanaīs condition. Serene was worried about that and then she turned to Ian saying:

"We are getting nowhere with this speed...would you consider to take Satyana on your back? You must be stronger that the rest of us and that way we can move faster.....Would you, please?"

Brianna, with Rahvin and Sadril

She sighed..she knew a passage through the mountains which would save a lit of time..if they got through it alive that was!

"Ok....follow me now....weīre heading that way!" She pointed at the snowy mountainside.."Thereīs a narrow shelf just there"

She led the way and after half an hour they walked along a narrow shelf along the mountainside. Up here it was considerably colder, Brianna tucked her robe tighter around her and trudged on....There was snow on the path and an icy wind starte blowing more and more..

"Stick close, and tight to the mountainside...we must pass here before we get to......the passageway"

I hope they stick to each other..and to me, together we have a chance to make it, but if one of us get lost....
Lord Revan
Issac

"Come on Satyana, I'll help you." He said as he let her lean on him and relieve some of her wieght. "Walking will help recover, but it's best to start slowly."

Ian

Noticing that Issac was already helping Satyana, he chose not to interfere. "It's slower, but it's probably better than completely carrying her," Ian muttered.

Green-Root, in the cave with Merethicus.

Green-Root stopped eating for a moment. Then, he used his claws to tear the rat to pieces and stuffed it into his pack. After that, he took his spear and walked towards the small gap between the chamber they were in currently and the rest of the complex.
,,Sounds like a plan. The sooner we leave, the better. I'd say we take our chance and start moving while everyone is distracted by our heroes." He spoke.

He sniffed loudly and then spun around, pointing his spear at Karn who'd just dropped in through the hole in the ceiling.
,,I knew I smelled something. Didn't you leave with those two?" The Argonian hissed, subtly tensing his muscles in case of combat. The assassin had healed exceptionally well. It would be wise to prepare in case he'd come with violence in his mind.

Merethicus

About to reply, Merethicus is cut off by Karn's entrance. He stands up, and picks up his sword and shield while waiting for a reply to Green-Root's question.
Lord Revan

Karn, joining the deserters

Studying the spear with mild interest, Karn muttered in a somewhat sarcastic tone. "Oh, I got tired of all the snow and decided to come back in....." Then he looked between the two scoundrels, "you're both deserting?"

It was statement not a question, Karn shook his head wearily. "Forget it, I hate that bloody Silhouete as much as those two mages. This is going to disolve into a power strugle and I don't want to be one any specific side. So I'm coming with you two."

Merethicus

Merethicus smirks. And then there were three. If we stay here a little longer it's going to become a true parade...

"Well, it's good to see there are more people with common sense around here."

He didn't trust Karn - much less than Green-Root, anyway - but it was dangerous out there, and there was strength in numbers.

Green-Root, same place.

Green-Root put his spear away grudgingly.
,,Fine then, come along." He grunted. He did not thrust Karn though, and would keep a close eye on him.

Flint Ironwood, outside.

With the assassin gone, Flint landed on the ground and finished off a few nearby goblins.
,,Let's get to Dalrus and Sodsa. I'd say we get out of here and rejoin the rest of the pack. Before we get swamped by the whole frickin army." He said to Flogir, changing swords as he did.

Rann

"I guess. It's the best place to look for our other friends." he answered, glad that Soldin had taken the bow. He had feared that Soldin would have been too proud or stubborn to take it.

He started to feel weak again. He figured that the potions weren't going to help much longer. The first one he had taken had worked for a few hours, this one was almost finished after a few meager minutes.

Rahvin

Rahvin followed Brianna closely. He knew that they had crossed the Skyrim border some time ago, and figured that Brianna's past here contributed to her knowledge of the area.

Unfortunately, most of my time in this damned country was spent in prison.

They moved higher and higher, and the air became difficult to breathe. A few snowflakes began to fall. Rahvin knew that there would be much more if they were headed up the mountain much further.
The Metal Mallet
Flogir

Flogir fortunately didn't run into any more enemies as he hurried over to Flint's posistion. Flogir sighed in relief to find his comrade relatively uninjured and quickly helped him out and dispatching the nearby goblins.

"Yea, I second that notion. We need someone to take care of that arms of yours. I believe Sodsa and Dalrus are just south of here. Let's go!"

Voltar

Voltar strolled past the sage, paying no apparent heed to the spell slinger. He was confident in his abilities that he had no fear of any aggressive behaviour that she could do. Instead, he focused on keeping his sights on Karn.

Fortunately, he managed to catch the assassin entering the carvern once again. "He's in the carvern, Veric." He told his companion, obviously thinking that the Breton would understand who he was referring to.
ShogunSniper
Soldin

"Are you.. feeling okay?" Soldin asked Rann, "You look a bit tipsy."

Veric

"Thanks," he told Voltar, though he could have found Karn without his help. We seem to be going in circles.... Veric entered the cave to see Karn as well as a few others he did not recognize.

"Karn, my friend. I have brought your antidote. You're not down here conspiring against me now are you?" he asked. Veric purposefully spoke as if he and Karn were already allies. He hoped to anger the Dunmer, perhaps to get a better idea of Karn's feelings toward him.

Sadril

Sadril followed behind Rahvin, though at a greater distance than Rahvin followed Brianna. The cold was beginning to get to the Dunmeri vampire. The clothing he wore was not suitable to the frigid air and he had lost his cloak back in the Imperial City. As the falling snow thickened from sparce flakes to a heavier precipitation as their altitude rose, Sadril called out to his companions, "This was a bad idea, I think."

Though, of course, he didnt have a better one. He was just voicing his opinion to make sure he was still alive. The snowfall thickened more and Sadril quickened his pace as to not lose track of Rahvin. Though he found he was feeling quite weak and even as he told his legs to move faster, they only trudged at the same speed.

I'm not feeling well... I haven't fed in a while......... It's really cold. Sadril's thoughts got fewer and farther between when he finally slapped himself across the face to bring himself back to his senses. When he regained his awareness, however, he found that he had stopped walking and had finally lost sight of his companions.

"No matter, I can still follow their scent... for now," he mumbled as he walked in the direction his senses lead him.

Merethicus

Even more people. Merethicus thinks annoyedly. What ever happened to peace and quiet?
jack cloudy
Green-Root, serisously annoyed.

Green-Root bared his fangs against the newly arrived Breton and Altmer.
,,Enough of this! I'm leaving!" He snarled and squeezed through the gap. If anyone wanted to come along, it would be their choice. He was not going to wait and see who else might join.
lord_wanhoop
Merethicus

"The Argonian..." Merethicus says as he picks up his remaining equipment ,"...has a point. Cheerio."

And with that, he sets off after Green-Root.
Lord Revan

Karn, switching gears

When Veric appeared, Karn stopped himself from stabbing the mage.
He turned to regard the Breton. "No, we weren't conspiring; rather planning an exit strategy."

The assassin spoke in a level tone, "so, since you're so interested in Serene and her kin, I can assume that you have a way of tracking them down?"

"It's not like they're hard to find. They are seeking out the Silhouette, so if we know where the Silhouette is we know where Serene and the others are, or will be. And if that doesn't work, Serene and a few others have a strong magickal pull. I'm sure I could track them down," Veric cnswered confidently while pacing throughout the cave.

The Metal Mallet
Voltar

What a warm reception, Voltar thought after watching the Argonian and a new stranger vacate as soon as they arrived. It would be unfortunate for a serious accident happen to them. Like, suddenly appearing paralyzed and recalled to a place 200 feet in the air...

He put the personal slight aside and returned to the conversation at hand. Indeed, he could as well locate Serene with no problem due to her magical potential. There was also that younger lass that has a peculiar aura about her magic potential. Still, he was actually more curious about something else.

"If you'd like my opinion," he started, "I would perfer to wait for them to reach the Silhouette, simply because I'm curious in meeting this "creature", or at least seeing him."

He paused momentarily. "Then again, they might need our antidote. We wouldn't want poor Satyana to die from any resurgance of the poison..."
Lord Revan

Karn, plotting

"Yes, if it matters I just met some of their allies." The Dunmer shrugged, not entirly sure this would be of importance. "A Breton who enjoys using some powerful levitation and jumping spells, some sorceress woman that destintegrated all my bandit bowmen on one ocassion, a Nordic guard, likely retired until now, and a Wood Elf archer of sorts."

"Perhaps, rather than the Silhouete, they intend to regroup before confronting that vile creature. If so, we only need follow the four I mentioned, right to the others." Karn had a glint of anticipation, any possibility has even more avenues of results and consequinces....

"Rann? Goddamnit, youīre falling apart!" She searched her satchel and found another potion. Looking at it she noticed it was one of the stronger ones, Rann had to be careful when taking this one, otherwise there might be some nasty side-effects

"Here! Take a sip, but you be carful, donīt take it all or youīll...." she just shook her head

Seeing that Issac had taken really good care of Satyana she felt a tiny bit releived.....

Ian, Porphyric Hemophilian soul sickness?

"This isn't just a large scale armed struggle anymore....." He mumbled, unaware that he was speaking. "The gathering of bandits, necromancers, beasts, and other evils that inhabit Tamriel..... what if this struggle we're fighting now is just a ruse, a ploy to soften up the resistence before the real threat appears......"

Ian felt it in his changed mind, vampirism had opened up a new sensitivity to the powers that affected Tamriel, especially the darker ones. "We're devided by strife, and we've been so for generations, and that is the enemies favorite weapon..."

"The Silhouete, Akavir, Modaire, it's all connected; somehow...." The feeling of supernatural awareness dissipated, leaving Ian exhausted, mentally sick, and unsure of what he'd just felt. He fell to his knees, feeling worse than any physical suffering he'd endured before.

This was a mental and physical sickness, did I get something just by extracting blood from Satyana?

Veric

"And then the group as a whole will undoubtedly run into the Silhouette, perhaps there we catch them all and intervene or simply watch and wait," Veric added to Karn's last statement.

"Though the situation grows more complicated by the minute. A sage leading a platoon of Mage's Guild dogs have made their presence noticed, and what of the two who just left? The Argonian and that bonemold clad fellow? Who do they fight for, Karn?"

Sadril

Sadril's self control blurred out once more and he felt himself revert to his most primal vampiric self. Normally he had more control, even when going without feeding for a while, but the cold weakened his will. His senses heightened significantly. Even over the howling wind he heard Rahvin call to Brianna and, eventually, heard the Dunmer's footsteps crunching in the snow towards him.

Sadril saw Rahvin, too. His living, flowing blood illuminating him in the vampire's eyes through the white-out. With no shadows to seek refuge in, and with no blood to calm his nerves, Sadril's predatorial instincts kicked in fully and he lunged at Rahvin. Nothing but a black blur amidst a solid white backdrop, he charged and aimed to knock Rahvin off his feet.

"hamster it," he said as he popped the cork and drank slightly over half the potion. No side-effect could be worse than what he was feeling. "Excuse the language." he said apologetically to Soldin, suddenly remembering the younger presence.

He didn't feel any side-effect...yet.

Rahvin

Rahvin walked back down the mountainside to find Sadril slowly but surely moving along. Until the attack.

Rahvin found himself flat on the ground, fangs moving towards his neck. He barely kept them away with a well-placed kick to Sadril's chest that gave him a momentary reprieve from the shock of being assaulted with fangs.

Karn

The Dunmer shrugged, "they serve themselves, they're deserters. We all loathe that infernal abomination, the Silhouete. As for what they intend to do now aside from get away from here is unknown, but I doubt they wish to get involved in this power struggle unless fate intervenes."

Then he recalled how he'd easily aquired minions for the attack on the group, and Karn smirked as an idea sprang into his mind. "As I've said I don't think the Silhouete is using us as the real army, it hardly gives us more elaborate orders than 'kill this person' or 'raid this city'. I think that its possible to recruit a small force of whatever we want for our own purposes."

Karn reveled in the silence as his words sank in, "I can walk up to about any of these minions and order them to follow me......"

Veric

"As usefull as that may eventually be, it is probably a better idea not to have others tagging along if we plan to follow these people toward the Silhouette. An attack on them will more than likely fail; they're a resilient bunch," Veric pondered further, scratching his chin. There are a lot of decisions to be made. I'd like to sit back and watch things unfold, however i don't think inactivity will help the present situation.

"I'm not exactly fond of the idea of following a couple of adventurers around until they by chance take us to where we want to go. Plus, I'm not sure if I can keep my presence hidden..."
Lord Revan

Karn, volenteering

The ninja shrugged again, indifferent. "Then there's a simple solution, I'll track them. I don't have to mask a 'magical pull' as you call it, and I'm experienced with tracking prey undetected. When something worthy of note happens then I'll contact you."

As he finished he realized that he hardly had an efficient way to communicate over a long distance with Veric.

Veric

Again, seemingly reading minds, Veric took off his amulet and tossed it to Karn. The amulet was simple: thread and a sizeable yellow jewel the same hue as Veric's never-changing eyes. "Wear it and we can communicate. Simply think of me and voice your thoughts inside your head and I will hear them and will be able to talk back to you."

Veric failed to mention that it was not required for Karn to wear the amulet, and that while he did it made him very easy for Veric to keep track of and perhaps even evesdrop on some unguarded passing thoughts. Though he already seemed perfectly capable of doing so without an amulet.

Semir had been silent throughout the journey. This did not help towards lightening the mood. As the Blue Serpent continued to slice through the seas like a sacrificial knife through the throat of the sacrifice, the crew was infected with the Breton's sour silence. When the Serpent arrived at Leyawiin, having broken the speed record for ships in the proces, any who watched from the coast would have assumed he was looking at a ghost ship manned by zombies.

Semir played with one end of his moustache, looking at the ruins of the once grand city.
,,I served here. Damn those Akaviri scaled dogs." He muttered. He made a gesture with his hand and everyone dropped whatever he or she was doing. They stood at the railing, hands crossed over their heart, giving a silent salute to the city.

The first mate frowned his scarred face.
,,Do we land and look for survivors?" He asked with his grumbling voice. Semir shook his head.
,,No, it's been days since Leyawiin's destruction. Whoever is left here is either dead or safe. We're moving on. We're going straight to the central arena where we'll wait for those Akaviri. We're going to Cyrodiil. I may be on the wrong side of the law, but no one can just walk in and destroy my world. They'll pay and they'll keep paying till they run all the way back to Akavir. And then, they'll pay some more."

As the Serpent left Leyawiin behind, Semir got back behind the weel.
,,Lower the sails to a quarter. The path to Cyrodiil can be a bit treacherous. I don't want to get stuck on a shallow bank."

Of course the young fool would take half of it! Serene went stiff with anger and worry, why couldnīt he for once listen to her? Now she had to watch him closely, due to the known side-effects of that potion....Arrrgh

Rann, you damn fool, you stay close to me now, the effects will soon hit you, and you will be a crying danger to all of us! She waited for another while, but no sign of Rahvin.....so she decided to go back to see what had happened. The sight in front of her as she reached the spot where her two companions were made her react immediately.

The sight of Rahvin flat on his back with the vampire aiming for his throat made her outrageous, she flung herself on top of the vampire to drag him off Rahvin, not scared for herself, her only concern was Rahvin....she just had to save him, she loved him too much.....

If the vampire should bite her, then it was ok....she could take it, the many years in the company of Telina and her mages had taught her quite a bit...among other things, how to handle vampires! And this one didnīt seem that cocky..in fact he was quite easy to push off Rahvin.....There was obviously something wrong with him....but she couldnīt just yet figure out what...

Sadil, or whoever he had become, recognized the new threat when he was pushed over by Brianna. His judgement still clouded, Sadril lunged at her rather than Rahvin, and reached for his sword rather than using his hands.

Fortunately, the real Sadril took hold at just the right time. As his right hand drew the katana out of its sheath, his left hand reached up and stopped. He appeared to struggle with himself for a while before he fell to his knees, shoulders slouched, his head hung low staring at his trembling hands extended in front of him.

What have I done? What's wrong with me?

He remained silent, though it was hard to tell whether he was ashamed or perplexed and in thought.

Chraw Lowenthal, Bruma

Chraw sat by the desk in his small room at the inn in Bruma. A small candlelight illuminated the otherwise dark room. His equipment and traveling gear lay on the bed, including his scimitar, Soothing Wind. He stared blankly at a book he was reading, although he was really lost in his thoughts.

So much have happened... I feel my return to Bruma was needed. Perhaps even determined by fate. I should at least go and visit the Church tomorrow.

Chraw looked up from his book, some quite random piece of litterature he found lying in his room. The cover looked interesting, he thought as he saw it earlier, and he did need something to pass the time. A good book was one of those things he held close to his heart.

He sighed and closed the book, deciding that sleep would be a more efficient way of passing the time, rather than sitting in the dark, reading through an old book. He cleared his bed of the equipment, all but his scimitar, which he put under his pillow. Years of traveling and adventuring had made him wary, especially when sleeping.

Sadril

Brianna

She sat motionless as Sadril fought with his demon, not scared at all which astonished her....But the fact remained, Sadril was really no threat to her..or Rahvin, there was something wrong with him and now she pitied him and wanted to help....as always

She pondered.....some very faint memory kept flicker through her mind...there was another vampire..similar to this one, also behaving strange....then the memory fainted and she sighed..

"Rahvin, I..I think thereīs somthing weird going on...he behaves very strange, we better dig a shelter or just try to get away from this whining wind, it can make anyone out of their minds"
Lord Revan
Issac

When Rann cursed, he glanced backward, checking to see what was going on. Issac shook his head when he saw Rann and Serene were interacting again. "Can't they just get along and co-exist like the rest of us?" He muttured under his breath.

He'd slowed his pace slightly, but Issac came to a complete halt as Rann drank what smelled like a powerful potion. Though not privy to the telepathic exchange he could guess that it went along the lines that Rann had just overdosed himself.

"Why does it seem our worst enemies are ourselves and not the people trying to kill us?" Issac attempted to get a better grip on Satyana. At first this wasn't hard, but now you're really getting heavy....

Karn, on a mission

He scrutinized the amulet, looking at it from different angles scepticlly, the wordlessly slid it into his satchel. "I'll be on my way then," Karn said as he let his mind shift into a cool state of clarity, effectively not thinking anymore.

The ninja leapt up through the hole in the cieling back to the whirling winds of freezing cold. He was unaffected, he didn't feel the cold, or at least not as much as a normal person. Recalling the last place he'd seen the Breton, Karn strode through the snow toward the place he remembered.

Rann

"Relax...nothing's happening." he said to Issac irritably. "Well, nothing bad anyway. I feel better, actually."

He walked along for a couple more minutes before he burst out in hysterical laughter.

Rahvin

Rahvin stood, dusting the snow off himself as he did.

"So," he said, "Care to explain?"

He wanted an answer before he took Brianna's advice and put them all together in a small shelter.
Lord Revan

Issac

He held little worth to Rann's assurance that nothing would happen, and in truth he was just waiting for that potion to take affect. When it did he was torn between smilling at how hopeless of a cause Rann's compacity for taking other people's advise was, and simply shaking his head.

Issac decided to do niether, afterall, he had no idea if this would make the assassin comically docile or more aggressive than normal. Best not to tempt the starving dragon......

Sadril

Sadril stood. He was unsure whether Rahvin was talking to him or Brianna. Regardless, he said, "We shouldn't stop. That would only worsen things." Sadril picked his head up. He was paler than normal and looked fatigued, but he had returned to his normal self, for now.

"We need to keep moving. Get out of this damn place," he finished as he walked past Brianna and Rahvin in the direction they were originally heading.

This wasn't the first time Sadril had lost his judgement due to a lack of blood to feed on, however it had never been bad enough to make him attack a friend. He inwardly wanted to blame the cold, but subconciously he knew there was something else stressing him to the point of breaking. A secret he held... One other than his intentions to hand Amrita over to Veric. Hell, he wasn't even sure if his purpose would allow him to even do that.

It might upset the balance of things...

Rann

Rann stopped laughing for a second, with a look of awe and wonder on his face.

"Whoa," he said, "Whoa."

He looked around at everyone, to see if they were seeing the same thing he was. He didn't realize that they weren't.

"I can see sound."

Rahvin

Things weren't going to be that simple. They couldn't just keep walking as they were after something like that.

"Sadril, what the hell just happened?"
Lord Revan

Issac

He didn't speak for several moments. "Uh, Rann, as I've said before I'm not much of a healer, but I know that seeing sound is a very easy way to tell that something is wrong with you." Issac turned to Serene, "how long until he fall into that coma and becomes normal again?"

Green-Root, cave

Merethicus and Green-Root walked through the dark passages. Both had noticed that Karn had chosen to stay behind with the two 'mages' who had entered at the last second.
,,Good riddance. I don't thrust that assassin, even though I brought him back from the death. I don't thrust Merethicus either, but I'm sure the feeling is mutual. Good, keeps us from doing nasty things behind the other's back."

Rounding a corner, their path was obstructed by a tribe of Goblins who, for the moment, choose to merely stare at the visitors rather than attack. Green-Root leaned over towards the Bonemold-clad man's ear.
,,What do you want to do? Pick another route, try to talk our way through or smear their blood all over the walls?" He whispered, keeping a close eye on the green humanoids.

Serene

Serene shook her head....faintly smiling "Heīll get over it, heīs stronger than I thought, Iīm not even sure heīll fall into coma, hmmm Iīve tried that one once and....I did see sound as well, so donīt worry weīll just have to be a bit cautious so he doesnīt do anything foolish out of sheer excitement."

She sighed...."Yes I behaved pretty peculiar then...."

She started singing....looking sternly at Rann.....to see his reaction to the sound...she knew it was a positive thing although heīd be utterly exhausted when..or if it wears off!

Satyana

"Rann? what do you see?" She was barely awake but the laugh of her dear brother made her a bit more alive. She wanted to try to walk on her own, she felt that it could be possible, besides she wanted to be with Rann for a while.....

Brianna

"Heīs starving, Rahvin!" Brianna said dryly

It was freezing cold and she couldnīt feel her feet anymore, but at least she and Rahvin had some food, while Sadril didnīt...and that could be fatal. She was honestly considering to draw some blood from herself just to keep the poor vamp going, but wasnīt sure how Rahvin would react to that. She wouldnīt let the vamp bite her, but there were other ways.....

Anyway, if they would ever get to the passageway they had to do something. She turned her back from the others and cut a small bloodvessel in her arm, letting the blood flow into a small bottle where she had some herbs so the blood wouldnīt clot. She did this under her cloak, nobody noticed, she hoped...

Ian, going out on his own

The group continued on, but the vampire was fine with that. I fed at least three and a half hours ago, but whatever just happened took all the blood I had.... He stood up again, swaying slightly, and went of into the forest.

I'll meet up with them further along, blood is what I need right now and they aren't a possible source.... Ian picked his way through the trees slowly listening for any other creatures nearby.

OCC: so, maybe Ian will bring a bunch of "friends" when he meets up with the group again. SO what do vampires hate most (and vice versa). smile.gif

Sadril

At first, Sadril thought nothing of Brianna turning her back on them suddenly. He was filling a bit zoned out at the time and didn't care to notice. Though the overwhelming and unmistakable scent of blood brought him out of his trance.

Each person's blood, as Sadril had grown to learn, has its own distinct scent. However, he did not need to know Brianna's scent to recognize it as her's. An experienced vampire can tell a person's gender, race, even an estimate of their body size and eating habits from the scent of their blood.

Sadril cocked his head at Brianna, "Are you bleeding?"

Brianna

"Shhhh"she hissed, and swiftly handed him the bottle, "Here, take that, itīll keep you going for a short while anyway, drink it while itīs still warm"

She wrapped a piece of cloth around the wound in her arm. It was ok for her to loose some blood, she always have had sort of "too much" and during her time with Telina, she used to draw blood from herself...for various reasons of which she didnīt really like to think.....

But this time a least it was for a good cause.....

I hope Rahvin didnīt notice......heīll be angry with me....I think

Merethicus

Merethicus sneers at the Goblins, tightening his grip on his sword. "Just get out of the way, if you would. We're on a mission... and the great boss won't be pleased if he hears we came too late because of your delaying."

The best way to take care of the feeble-minded who get in your way is blatant lying and threats of violence. Always.

Flint Ironwood, with Flogir outside.

They reached Sodsa and Dalrus, running for a pack of Orcs and a whole lot of Goblins.
,,This is not my idea of a perfect day!" Flint shouted.
,,I suggest we get out of here right now! All of you can hold on to me and I'll try jumping, but please don't touch my right arm!" He added, throwing two Orcs off their feet with Telekinesis.
,,Or does anyone prefer fighting?"

Green-Root, inside the cave.

Slowly, the Goblins moved aside. Green-Root eased his grip on the spear, only a little.
,,Good, now we'll be going." He hissed and them and walked past with his awkward Argonian movements."

Note: Unless Florodine or Soulseeker gets on now, I think everyone should just take the escape route that I've presented. smile.gif

Sadril

Sadril squinted at Brianna suspiciously before snatching the bottle from her hands. Though as was his nature, Sadril did almost the exact opposite of what he was intended to do. Instead of 'shh-ing' Sadril held the bottle up in front of him for all, including Rahvin, to see and called out sarcastically, "Dearest Brianna, you shouldn't keep secrets from your lover. There is nothing to be ashamed of about drawing your blood to aid a friend. Even if he is a vampire!"

He downed the bottle quickly, though while doing so he realized for once how rude he was. Brianna had just willingly given him blood and the one thing she had not wanted him to do, he did. Sadril figured Rahvin wouldn't be upset either way, but still...

He tossed the now empty vial back to Brianna with a sincere, yet probably not redeeming, "Thanks."

Flogir

"Even though I do enjoy a good scrap, I know when I've reached my limit. And this is such an instance. Let's go!" Flogir said, taking a firm grip of Flint's tunic and fending off a goblin with his other.
