"Well leave the killing to me then, and I'll trust you to heal me." he answered, letting his anger go. "Just promise me you won't try to heal Veric." he added with a smile.

Rann
The conversation between he and Satyana stopped as the unmistakable noises of battle were heard from down the hallway.
"Stay unnoticed, but heal anyone that needs it." he said, making an extra effort to give her a role in the situation.
He ran down the hallway, readying his bow and putting an arrow to its string.
"Duck!" he shouted to Sadril as he fired an arrow. He hoped that Sadril had the presence of mind to do so, for if he didn't, he would find a bothersome arrow in his skull. If he did, then the assassin behind him would meet his demise.
SatyanaSatyana smiled and nodded..
Of course I will heal those who needs it!...Then she heard the commotion down the hallway and quickly followed Rann, but unnoticed as she kept a distance to him as well as she sneaked along the walls..
I must not be seen, he said.....

Voltar
Voltar was awed by Veric's lecture on the formation of his dimension. It made sense! He never thought combinations of Alteration and Illusion would make such things capable, but it certainly made sense. He now held a little scorn for himself in believeing that Illusion was a rather unnecessary school. He would remedy that when he had that chance, for now he intended to see through Veric's plans.
Which now turned to a stroll, which evidently Veric led on to being more than a casual one. Voltar wiped the corners of his mouth with a napkin. "Sure, I'll come with you," he said, rising from his chair.

Sadril"Hey careful with that!" Sadril snarled at Flint when he threw his sword down, himself a little frustrated about letting the assassin get away. He got up from the crouched position he had remained in since he fell from the overlook, but felt a sharp surge of pain through his right leg and fell back to a kneel.
He felt his right ankle which was quite swollen, and judging by the pain...
Broken. Damnit all. Sadril lied back, allowing the guards who had shown up to take care of the few remaining assassins who were left behind. He had lost his cloak, and his blade had been nicked slightly, but he had obtained a new piece of information.
The Silhouette, huh? He breathed a deep sigh of defeat, his leg aching. "Medic."

"Oh boy... Things are going to get very difficult from now on...," Flogir muttered before raising his voice for the others to hear.
"Well it looks like we know who's commanding them now... something called A "Silhouette"...".
Voltar
Voltar kept silent, feinging speechlessness as he closely studied all the people in the room, guessing at their abilities and weaknesses. He wasn't fool enough to look like he was actually studying them though.
How unfortunate for Ocato... Voltar thought absently. There were a little too late to have witnessed his death.

The Silhouette, Valus Mountains
Phase one was now complete. Ocatto was dead, Leyawiin was being burnt, raiders were destroying towns, the werewolf would soon destroy many suburbs of the large cities. Stage two would start soon enough, and stage three would come after quite some time. The army was starting to grow restless, the Silhouette slayed any who acted out, though very few had to be slain. Berserkers would soon come from the north with reaver armies, and then the imperial province would be assaulted from most sides. Pirates were coming towards anvil as well. Only when everything was complete would the Silhouette not go by his fake name.
Dalrus, High Council room
"What do we do now? The empire will be in shambles, there is literally no one to hold up the empire," she thought looking at the many dead elder councilors. "I suppose the counts will fight for it, the empire is up for grabs now" she said to Rann worriedly.
Eurod, Bruma outskirts
The brisk air of Bruma could be felt everywhere. Snow was lightly falling on the countless pines in the northern mountains. A robin perched upon a bush, eating the red berries that grew off it. The path to Bruma was covered in snow, however, the city was large and above it a huge mountain loomed, making it easy enough to find. Bruma lay upon a large hill, a mountain almost. Not only that, most of the area outside it was rocky, and to make it even more secure, the blades fortress was on the mountain looming over head.
A deer bounded off as the sound of hooves become louder. Suddenly coming around the corner towards Bruma came around one hundred mounted knights. Their leader was a blonde haired, blue eyed man, who had an honest face and a chiseled body. This was evident through his cloth clothes. Normally he would be wearing armor, however, that was not necessary as they were only out practicing, as usual. He came into town and they all put their horses in the stables. Eurod got off his horse and walked around town. He loved the feeling of the brisk north, this town was his favorite place in the world.

Swimming, Topal Sea, TamrielArco was swimming quickly through the water, but using huge amounts of strength to stay on course in the violent sea. But now it was about to get worse, as he was swimming and the waves kept pushing him under water he quickly noticed a huge shark swimming close to the sea floor which he could now see.
The shark disappeared from his sight.
Moments later, whilst coming closer to the few people in front of him, a fin appeared on the surface for a split second before going down again. Arco's left hand reached for the hilt of his blade instantly but the shark wasn't after him, thirty feet in front of Arco, a young imperial got razed in half as the shark suddenly appeared and it's huge jaws wrapped around the man's torso.
Arco suddenly remembered the spell he'd learned a decade back from a hunter in Morrowind. Arco catched glimts of the shark and started chanting a spell, at the end of the last word his right hand motioned like he was grabbing something in the thin air - and suddenly small purple lights started appearing around the huge shark, like small glowing butterflies, flying around the shark. This made the shark an easy target and easier to spot.

Swimming, Topal Sea, TamrielArco slowed down, diving under scanning the sea - the shark was circling them, it was surely going to attack another one. Arco knew he wouldn't be able to fully use his agility when fighting, the shark wouldn't have much trouble in the sea, Arco would. He had a strategy in mind though, he wouldn't managed to out swim it but he could manage to dodge it's attacks as the shark would come straight at him every time.
Arco unsheathed only one blade before diving under the surface, the shark was already approaching him from his right, coming up from the depths. Arco held his blade out to the side, waiting for the furious beast to come within range. Approaching quickly and revealing it's huge amount of teeth the shark was only a few feet away when Arco's right arm launched out with blinding speed through the water which didn't seem to bother him much. His hand kinda blocked the sharks attack, hitting the nose of the beast and pushing it off to the side a few inches enough for him to survive - but his blade quickly followed, the thin edge of the blade came in with a sideways swing for the creature's gils. The blade's combined thoughness and sharpness easily cut through the thin layer of skin around the gil area. Huge amounts of blood was instantly flooding out, blending into the water.
Arco could see the shark sinking towards the buttom with violent cramps. The kill was confirmed by the fearie fire fading away as the shark was descending towards the sea bed. Arco started swimming up against the surface straight afterwards, gasping for air once over the surface.

Sodsa brought his hand up and scratched his ear and neck, and sent a short silent message to the Divines. when finished he looked at the group's faces.
Well who ever he was, he was probably either important or somethin'
ooc: I'm sorry but i'm lost location-wise, I know that Octo (or whatever his name is) was just killed and that everyone is staring at the body (please correct me if i'm wrong) but where in the Imperial city are we all know? Yeah Sodsa will know the name but he probably hasn't ever seen the guy

Dalrus, Chancellor chamber
Dalrus walked around handing potions out to any who were still alive. She brushed her hair out of her eyes, and wondered how this could have happened. She looked walked over to Satyana and gave a kind smile to her, it was also a smile of sorrow.
"War is not brewing no, she said finally replying to Veric. Though I'm afraid there may be many grabs for power," she said to the man before her. "I think we should get out of here and let the investigators handle the situation," she said gesturing towards the door as many guards came in. "Wait, the book? Where is the book that we need?" she said looking at the other group members. The doors of the palace were opened and an ominous wind seemed to be blowing. Dalrus's hair blew into her face and she tied it into a messy bun. "I don't suppose anyone remembered to grab that book."
Eurod, Bruma
"Oh? A surprise? I like the sound of that," he said hugging her again as she took his hand and lead him off. The brisk wind of the north blew through town, though he did not notice it as it was that way almost everyday. Gruna-gra-jalos walked by and waved to the couple. The proprieter of the Jerral View inn also waved as he sweeped the front step of his tavern.

Issac
Hearing Dalrus' question jogged Issac's memory and gave him a much needed respite from Satyana. "I grabbed it." He told her as he retrieved it from within his robes and handed it to her. "I think it has something to do with the lack of crime and the Chancellor's assassination......."

Sodsa Hekal, The Imperial Palace
Sodsa overheard Issac's statement to Dalrus and his eyes widened, "This is the Chancellor? Geeze." Sodas's smile faded from his face and went over to the wall to lean upon it.
So this is, was, the guy in charge, hmph, never did anything for me
ooc: Garg.... he isn't happy but he isn't exactly sad.... i can't think of a word for the look on his face..

Jonathan Constantine
Jonathan didn't leave the city, he thought about it, he also thought about taking his money and running, but he had a duty. Instead he paced around the square outside the scene of the crime.
"OK, ok.. We'll go and get the horses and be off." He mumbled to himself what he'd say to the group as they exited the palace. It would do him some good to visit his father anyways, if only to ask him about this damnable trinket he always carried around.

Issac
Despite being uncomfortable around Satyana Issac found himself walking beside her, he let out an exasperated sigh, but mantained his pace with her. "So how were you brought up?" The question had come out of the sky itself, and he wasn't sure why he felt compelled to ask.

Sadril
Sadril slipped outside under the noses of any suspecting guards. He had lost his black cloak, revealing only dark, time-worn, cheap clothing. His sword he still unconciously held in his hands. He looked down at the katana admiring its beauty as he had done for around two centuries now.
He followed the rose stem engraved in it with his finger, from hilt to tip in a trance-like state, then held it strraight out in front of him, angling it so he could reflect the moon in the crimson tint of the blade. It had served him well, the perfect sword for stealth and the occasional duel. However extended combat took its toll on the edge.
He put the sword away back in its sheath, and pulled out the folded piece of parchment that had been slipped in his boot. It said simply: Seek the third child. He crumpled it and tossed it on the street outside of the scene of the assassination, assuming the letters had dissolved from the parchment as Veric's little 'notes' always had. This one however, did not. As if Veric wanted somebody else to read it he purposefully had the note written in traditional ink, but why would he want that?
Sadril stalked into the night, last seen heading northwest. He was going on another lead, both to seek out the 'third child' and to meet up with an old acquaintance. To Chorrol.

Veric
Veric nodded in understanding and was about to speak up when a man walked up to Rann and seemed to release a great deal of frustration on him before storming out. "He speaks as if a war were brewing... But yes, I agree the Empire is, or was rather, quite badly governed. Who knows what will happen after this disaster?" he said quietly, seizing an opportunity to get better acquainted with Rann. "I've seen people's lives ruined by government corruption," he continued, seemingly reading Rann's mind, trying to reel him in.
RannHe again ignored his sister's warnings after sensing the anger in her thoughts. He decided to tune them out since he wasn't in the mood for argument.
"As have I." he replied. "The Empire's greed allows for murder to be forgiven with just the right amount of gold. Not to mention the fact that Counts, Lords, and Dukes all have free reign in their territories with not a soul to answer to."

Noting he was in the Imperial Palace, he gestured towards the exit and made his way outside with Rann before continuing quietly, "Have you ever considered taking a stand against the empire? Several friends of mine have contemplated attempting to start a revolution and make some changes in the way things are governed. Now would be an excellent time to put things into action with this recent... disaster." Veric's acting was genuine, and he played the part he hoped Rann would be able to relate to; a young mer with hopes of being something important. The leader of a rebellion, for example.

Karn, returning to the Valus Mountains
The snow swirled and the wind howled, as though to herald the Silhouete's presence. Karn was rather unimpressed, his cloak staved off the cold anyway. He trudged toward the campfires of the Silhouete's army, and payed no heed to the low-lives that sat and gambled with one another.
He scanned the area for the master of the army, in the hopes of another assignment........
OCC: Karn might stay on the side of the Silhouete, just because there are plenty of oppertunities for profit along the road........

Rann"I assume that you would make yourself the new ruler, am I right?" he didn't wait for an answer since he was so sure of his assertion. "So what kind of changes would you make in the way things are governed?"
Growing up around politics gave him a good knowledge of government and allowed him to form his own opinions about what was good and what was bad. He had often refused to carry out assassinations for the Countess, to her dismay, so firm was he in his opinions.
Now this mer stood in front of him, wanting to change the Empire for the better. Or so Rann hoped. He couldn't help but wonder if the stranger had the resources necessary.

Veric"Such details are still undecided. A democracy of sorts, perhaps? Where the people choose the person to represent and govern Cyrodiil. I also believe in completely redesigning the legal system in the empire. Corruption runs deep and no longer should we allow the word of Imperial Guardsman to be the law. It seems any shady fellow can be picked up and held for murder nowadays."
Veric, in fact, hadn't given much thought to the question. His true intention of ever reaching the position of emperor was not a noble one. In fact most of his little speech he had made up off of the top of his head.

"So you're undecided on what your goals are? Sounds like pointless rebellion to me. You say you might want a democracy, but that is not enough. I want straight, solid answers before I do a damned thing for you." he said, becoming a bit suspicious.

"Better to be undecided than make rash, hasty decisions. It will be short lived, regardless. We will turn the empire into a democracy, we just need politically versed minds to help make key decisions," Veric retorted, his voice showing no signs of stress, "If you do not wish to participate, then don't. I just figured an opinionated individual such as yourself would be interested in building a new empire and help in ridding us of some of this undecisiveness."

"Rahvin....yes, I remember now" It came back to her now, and with it the pain of her feelings for him, she remembered she fell in love with him....then, but he just had eyes for Telina! She remembered how that had hurt her, and still did! She looked at him, unsure how to continue. She wanted to know how he had spent the last twenty years, and she wanted to know how his feelings were for her now, as apparently Telina hadnīt been at his side these years.
I..I think I still may have feelings for him...
OOC: Sorry. I keep forgetting about this scene.
Rahvin "So where have you been the last twenty years or so?" he asked. "I know Telina took you somewhere to heal, but we never found out where."
Mentioning Telina brought a number of mixed emotions. On one hand, he still had feelings for her, but on the other he had almost a hateful resentment towards her for leaving without so much as a good-bye, and then disappearing for twenty years.
