Issac
The Dunmer was holding the door open, and he moved in a familiar fashion....... Ah, Issac thought to himself. He's an assassin. Well, agents have to kill people too, so it will earn him no grief from me.
"Thank you, friend." He said to the mer.
Ian
As Issac greeted Rann, Ian walked around them and approached the bartender, Ormil. Flint ordered a bottle of flin, and Ormil turned to Ian. "Good to see you again, old friend." He said, clearly happy to find an old customer return to the Bloated Float.
Ian smile back at him. "Likewise, Ormil. I'll just have a bowl of grapes and some water." Ormil nodded, and handed him the bowl and a cup. "I see you haven't changed much in the last two years."
"You know very good and well that I hate alchahol." Ormil rolled his eyes in a weary sort of way. "Yes, yes, I can remember two years back, and the time before that too." Then he glanced over Ian's shoulder, and his smile broadened. "I see Issac is just as youthful as ever."
Ian glanced at Issac and frowned slightly. "Well, he get serious on the job. But he can be friendly among people I know." He said flatly. "Ian, your far to protective about the boy. Let him have more fun." Answering the challenge, Ian retorted. "You just want him to start buying the more expensive drinks."

Rann "He's not really much of a warrior, just a rogue forced to adapt to different situations." he said as they came to the tavern.
He opened the door for Dalrus and Satyana, and held it so that the others could pass through.
OOC: Rahvin? Reading? You know better than that.
Rahvin Rahvin sat in the Lokken tavern, beside a dunmer mage with his nose deep in a book.
"And?" he asked the reading dark elf.
"There are no records of a Cerpin Taxt in Mages Guild records." the mage replied. "You may have to travel to Summerset Isle for any more information on him. All that is known is that he was originally an altmer."
"Thanks anyway." he said, obviously a bit disappointed. He had been trying to dig up anything he could on the mysterious mage, but so far nothing. His main goal was to create a duplicate of the glove that Serene recieved...
Just then, a faimiliar woman walked through the doors.
No...it's impossible. he thought.
"Are you going to pay me?" the mage asked, obviously not for the first time.
"Sorry, I was thinking about something else." he said, hastily shoving a bag of coins in front of the other dunmer. He finished off the mug on the table and stood up, heading straight for the front counter where Ragnar was speaking with Brianna.
"Brianna? Is that you?"
OOC: Why ? Rahvin is not a dumba$$ is he`? He can read..but maybe itīs not his main interest!

Flint Ironwood, Bloated Float.Flint shrugged.
,,Fine, maybe I am paranoid and maybe no one would like to attack us. Let's just say that the last time I travelled with a group this big, we did get attacked. Everywhere and all the time. So I'm not going to ease up right here."
He finished his flin and headed out for the door.
,,I think I'm just going to sit on the roof. Then I can calm down a bit." He informed the others. His Dark Brotherhood cloak flapped in the cold breeze when he stepped outside.
The Breton quickly climbed up and sat down on the roof. From here, he had an excellent view of his surroundings.
Green-Root, with the Sil.Green-Root gave the Argonian equivelant of a frown.
,,Recruit pirates? Those always keep some alcohol handy. As you wish, master." The lizard spoke with complete disinterest. He still left though. Once the plundering began, he could get quite rich this way.
,,I wonder how I will convince those cutthroats. They may be called to this Silhouette, yet their will remains."

BriannaShe heard what Ravin said..but it didnīt really got into her mind....She looked at him, somewhat embarrassed..while she slowly shook her head
It rings a bell..somewhere....traveling together? And,......he was a father of one of her children..but?,....she had no children had she? Then again...she had marks on her showing she once had given birth...but ..where are they now then?..If he was the father..then theyīd had....Brianna blushed when thinking of it, it did explain the feeling she got when she first saw him 10 minuteas ago...she had to try and grasp this....the Dunmer was not lying, she was sure of that, a gut-feeling it was and sheīs learned to trust those.
"Eh...I donīt know" she said slowly, "Whatīs your name anyway?, Obviously you know me...I mean...ehhh you have to ..sort of know me pretty well I guess"
Then something struck her...
"I was hired to kill you, but didnīt" thatīs what he just said....
The picture of the scene by that cave came back to her, more vivid this time....she closed her eyes and remembered the distorted face of the young dunmer.....not killing her even though he had the best opportunity he could wish for
"I....I remember....your face...the dagger....you were hurt"!..I..I helped you, I gave you my coat, didnīt I?..I ....."
She stopped, covering her face with her hands.....this was too painful, she knew there was something else involved.....something to do with....Telina......and..
Brianna sat silent, she didnīt dare to look at the man...her mind was in a total chaos, but she knew this much....that Dunmer in front of her have had, and still has an impact on her life.....somehow

Flogir waved Flint a temporary goodbye with his free hand. "You go enjoy your time on the roof. I'll be here drinking!" he said, laughing.

Jonathan Constantine
As they entered the Bloated Boat Jonathan parted with the main host and walked to a side table in the bar. Not to long ago he'd use this place as a contact point on for missions. "Not to much has changed.."
His eye flickered slowly as he analyzed the layout of the room. It picked up small hints of previous people that would normally remain unknown to the casual observer. He used to get sick attempting to use his damned ability if thats what it could be called. A bad attempt at fusing migicka into the mortal body is what it really was what it really was.
Jonathan was beginning to get comfortable, same place, different people after all. Then a slight piercing sensation pricked at his back and his body began to go numb.
"Ello' Mr. Constantine, long time no see.." A voice hissed in Jonathan's ear and he felt his body being set into a chair. "Been a couple o' months aye? But see lad, I don forget." A crude smile, plagued by rotten teach, erupted over the assailants face. "You see, I remeber' you owe me quite a bit o' gold. And now I figure it to much higher now."
Jonathan found that he could speak, however it was to low to be heard over the din of the other voices, "Edin, I got your money. And possibly a bit extra too."
The Nordic man leaned back his chair and stroked the stubble on his chin, "Well lad, thats dandy, but you owe more then just a bit of coin you do. In fact lad, I know this place where thieves and liars such as yerself deserve something more." The same knife the caused the situation in the first place was unsheathed again, however this time the Nord grabbed Jonathan hand, and attempted to cut his little finger off.
Jonathan stared in horror but couldn't move, and his lips were frozen shut.

Issac, coming to Johnathan's aid
Out of the corner of his eye, Issac noticed a large Nord that was in the process of slicing off Johnathan's finger.
Issac spun, shouting. "Stop that!" And lobbed "Deadra's Fury" at the large oaf. The spell slammed into the Nord with something akin to an ogre's punch, not to mention the different elements that the spell contained.

Flint Ironwood, annoyed.
Flint was just having a good time when he heard a lot of noise coming from below. It sounded a lot as if someone was throwing spells around. Correction, someone was throwing spells around. It was impossible to hide Magicka from a Breton.
Flint hung over the roof's edge and looked into the Bloated Float through a window. What he saw did not please him.

Ian closed his eyes and shook his head in a weary fashion, but waited to see if it was really necessary to step in.
Although, He thought. There were several other men who seemed considerably drunk and willing to join the brawl.
This could be a messy little incident.... He sighed.

He bit his lower lip to keep his mouth from muttering curses, and try'd to stem the blood flow.

Flogir began backing up instantly. He had forgotten to retrieve Jonathan's dirk and Iceshard from his mule.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! I need something to help me out here!, Flogir thought, eyes searching rapidly for something to defend himself with.
His hand brushed against a mug. An idea snapped into his head.

"I'm going to tear you to pieces, little elf." He cracked his knuckles for emphasis, oddly despite being wasted he didn't seem to slur his words that much.
Issac began to slowly back away, watching the thug carefully. He was one of the few wearing armor,
Ebony armor at that. Issac couldn't tell if his katana would be affective against hard-wrought ebony.
Might as well try. The man lunged, but Issac leapt over his head and delivered two strikes on the man's pauldrons. Naturally the frost wouldn't affect him, but Issac was hoping the flames would work. He landed lightly on a table, not breaking or spilling a single thing.
Suddenly the table broke in two, and all the silverware and food went everywhere. Landing hard on the floor Issac looked up, in spite of the pain in his head. The armored Nord loomed over him, the table had obviously been pulverized by the man's fists.
"You think I'm some sort of idiot?" He tuanted. "This armor is shielded against flame spells, and I can take frost spells." He lifted his arms above his head, preparing to smash Issac with them.

On seeing Isaac's predicament, Rann decided that it was time. With a swift, fluid motion, his dagger left his hands, flying straight for the nord.
"Damn it!" he cursed as the dagger punctured the nord's left eye. He had been aiming for the right. When the nord fell backwards to the ground limply, Rann decided to copy Flogir's tactic of mug-throwing.

Issac
Once the ebony-clad Nord was on the floor, Issac slowly struggled to his feet. A single pirate rushed toward him, brandishing a small knife. Issac simply sighed, and slashed Cryorend across the man's chest. The now flash-frozen pirate crumbled to the ground and shattered.
Issac couldn't halp but shiver at the sickening crack when the man shattered into a thousand icy pieces. He shook his head vigorasly to banish the nausia from his awarness.
Looking around he spotted the Dunmer assassin that had saved him being approuched by a drunk Imperial. he might or might not need my help, but I'm happy to be evn rather then in debt. He thought.
Lunging across the room, Issac brought both blades to bear. He cleaved an "X" across the Imp's back, and the man....... well, it would be better not to think about it....
Issac offered the younger mer a hand, and despite the violence around them he felt the need to introduce himself. "Thanks with the Nord. My name's Issac, agent by trade." Normally Agents, like assassins, did not openly discuss their trade, but this mer had saved him once so Issac was inclined to be courtious.
Ian
Two Redguards came at him from different directions, but to no avail. Ian brought forth two bound daggers, and gave one of the assailants a kick to the gut, but deflected the other's attack.
Eager for some reprieve from the melee, Ian backflipped on to the rafters. He discarded both daggers (he was an archer, not a knife thrower), and unslung his bow. The group seemed to be holding their own, but there were plenty more drunkards to spare.
Taking a deep breathe Ian began his bloody work, doing his best to keep the brigands from Satyana and Johnathan.

Flint Ironwood, to the rescue!Flint remained a spectator for a moment. When everyone was going to get beaten down though, he'd had enough.
,,Alright, that does it! Back off!" He shouted. A large wave of Telekinetic energy passed through the room, including shards of glass from the window the Breton had shattered. Everyone who was still standing struggled to maintain his balance.
Flint leaped through the window and came to a standstill right in front of a small group where he drew both of his katanas. The group, two Imperials and a Nord, drew either a dagger or a Claymore in return.
,,A Claymore, here?" Flint thought. A grin crossed his face upon closer inspection of the Claymore.
,,Say, the smith who made it is quite a bad one, isn't he? The blade isn't properly attached to the hilt which means......a bit of well-aimed Telekinesis snaps your sorry bit of metal in two." He thought and did just what he was planning.
Despite the fact that the Claymore was out of the game, Flint saw that he was surrounded.
,,Great, just great."
To his great surprise, everyone backed away.
,,It's the Dark Brotherhood! Run!" One of the not so drunk shouted. Flint rolled his eyes.
,,Oh yeah, I completely forgot I was wearing that cloak. Hah, for once the DB's reputation comes in handy." Flint muttered under his breath. Once the coast was clear, he snatched a surviving bottle of flin off a table.

Flogir
Flogir slowly pulled himself up from the ground, brushing off dirt from the feet that had been kicking. He wiped blood from the corner of his busted lip, and he definitely knew he would find plenty of bruises tomorrow.
"That blighter packed a good punch. I shouldn't have stood there admiring my cunning," Flogir said, and snickered. "Well now at least we can enjoy some booze no?"
Flogir pulled up a chair beside Jonathan and ordered another ale. "How's the finger buddy?"
Jonathan Constantine"Oh compassion.." With all the adrenaline in Jonathan he didn't realize how much is finger, or rather lack of finger, was beginning to hurt..
"Thats actually a respectable question my friend.. Uh.. Satyana.. Satyana!"

Flogir
Flogir couldn't help but to burst out laughing at Jonathan's realization that his finger was still severed. He clutched at his side with his free hand, the vibrations from his laughing caused the head of his ale to spill over the mug, slopping onto the floor.
"I'm sorry lad, it's just that I found that quite funny!" Flogir managed to say between fits and he tried to regain his composure, and also make sure that Jonathan's blood didn't get near his ale.
"Anyone else injured?" Flogir decided to inquire, "I got a little roughed up, but I'll survive."

Rann
"I'm fine, except for the fact that there's not enough judgement-impairing substance in me." he answered as he pulled up on the other side of FLogir.
He pointed to the barrel of ale as a way of telling the bartender what he wanted while he continued speaking to Flogir.
"You're going to have to teach me that mug trick of yours. Show me the nordic touch."

Flint Ironwood, stepping up to Flogir.
Flint walked over to Flogir, a bottle of flin in his hand.
,,Well, I told you, didn't I? Now that's why paranoia has kept me alive. Bar brawls these days are lethal." He said smugly and looked around at the damage caused by the customers, flying bottles and of course an overdosis of Telekinesis.
,,Funny, the Dark Brotherhood are supposed to be these totally unstoppable invisible killers, yet everyone knows how a DB looks like. Silly."

Flogir, instructing Rann
Flogir grinned after he gulped down a mug of ale. "Well Rann, you see the art of mug tossing lies in the way you percieve the mug. You can't throw it like you Agent or Assassin types would throw a dagger or a throwing star or whatever. You gotta picture more like a stone, basically a rock the size of your fist. Most cases there's really only two places for an effective mug shot to work. Those two places are either the head, or the groin. Those two places are definite takeout shots, though you might get lucky and takeout a person briefly with a shot to the gut, depends on their figure, ya know?" He said, taking a moment to take another gulp of his ale.
"As for clubbing people with mugs, the best way it from behind and on top of the head. Hold the mug by the handle to get a good swinging motion with it as you swing," he continued, using an empty mug as an example by swinging in the air.
He then turned to Flint. "Eh, it's kinda amusing, but that costume certainly worked out. I was getting pummled there," he said and then realised another good point and turned back to Rann, "And another thing: Never, EVER, stand around a gloat in the middle of a bar fight!"

Veric
So there are two possible outcomes in the prophecy. he thought to himself, pouring over the pages of the ancient book. It is the choice of the three children. They can join me or oppose me, and that determines the outcome...
He sighed, and instantly changed his appearance to that of Haldin's. Or, more specifically, what Haldin looked like twenty years ago. The man's image was burned into his mind. He was the last person he had seen in twenty years.
Veric"Twenty years," Veric said aloud, staring into the darkness that was his chamber. He sat at a candle-lit desk with a single closed book resting on it. The candlelight illuminated the desk and the grey stone floors surrounding but the rest was complete darkness.
For twenty years Veric had been trapped in a realm of his own making. He didn't sleep. He didn't eat, drink, breathe. There was no need. He was encased in a physical world in his own mind. The only things that were 'real' were the books stacked upon shelves in a library now tucked away, and a few choice artifacts.
He lost contact with Sadril and Hecate, the two who held amulets that normally allowed communication. Veric had lost all contact with anything outside of his mind. A normal man would have been driven insane. Veric, however, occupied his time with practice. Practice, and plotting....
???North of Anvil, along the western coastline, at the door of a small hidden shack, there came a light knock...

Voltar, in a shack North of Anvil
Voltar was deep in concentration, studying the small encryptions of a very large tome when an unexpected knock sounded on his shack door. He looked at the door, suspicious of who could possibly be at his door.
His home was located in a rather secluded area North of Anvil, so he never really had a true visitor. The last "visitor" he had was some Daedra roaming the surrounding area during the Oblvion Crisis. Still, curiosity got the better of him and he approached the door. To be on the safe side, he readied the Staff of Worldly Demise.
He slowly undid the deadbolt and opened the door... Only to find no one standing there. Voltar poked his head out the doorway and looked around the surrounding countryside. Only the crickets of the night greeted him, as well as the steady whoosh of the sea crashing against the nearby cliffs.
Passing it off as hearing things, Voltar closed the door and headed back to his tome.

Sadril, in a shack North of Anvil"What interest have you of Veric Astien?" a shadow asked from a corner of the shack. Sadril stepped forth into the light with a grim look on his face. Whether the owner of the shack was aware of his presence remained to be seen, but Sadril felt a power from this man on par with Veric's which kept him on edge. He hid his fear well, though, and put up a confident front.

Voltar was slightly surprised by the presense of the stranger. He was impressed by the man's stealth though.
"My interest in the man is purely personal interest," Voltar said bluntly. He had no need to be secretive.
"I plan to release him from his dimension as I intend to meet him. Why are you so curious about my intentions?" Voltar decided to pose to the stranger. The stranger seemed rather intriguing as well. He didn't think the stranger posed too much of a threat, especially with the power of the Staff of Worldly Demise coursing through him, but he had a feeling this man was here for information.

Sadril placed his yellow amulet on a table in the shack. "This once served as a link between myself and this

"Take it from me," he began, interrupting himself with a gulp of ale. "Dark Brotherhood Assassins aren't all that talented. Just numerous." He took another sip. "But luckily, so are we. They'd have to send two assassins for every one of us."
He wasn't giving the brotherhood nearly enough credit, but it was best not to have everyone scared to death over nothing.

"It certainly seems we were fated to meet, stranger. This amulet is the last piece of the puzzle for me to free Veric. He possesses an amulet much like this one does he not? For if he does, the link between the amulets I can manipulate to break the barrier between the dimensions," Voltar said, excitement creeping at the edge of his words. This was about as excited as he could get.
Voltar went to the tome on his desk and flipped through pages, eyes scanning quickly over the pages. Yes, it would work, but only if Veric possessed such an amulet. He would have much more studying to do otherwise. Voltar returned his gaze back onto the stranger.
"Well? Do you have an answer for me? Does he have an identical amulet?"

Altec the Wanderer
Somewhere north east of the Imperial city
A small lake dominated the landscape. It's waters were home to numerous organisms, and the ecology was amazing to the trained eye. The number of plants a botanist could experiment with was exponential. Off to the northside of the lake stood a small house with a dock and a lone boat pulled up on the shore. Doctor Ingolf Valatine sat on the grass peering into the clear blue water unperturbed by the individual that approached his side.
"So.. I suppose they sent you to.. eliminate me?" He asked in a meek tone.
Altec didn't bother to sugar the truth, "..Yes."
The scientist chuckled, an obvious sign, to cover his growing anxiety. "Then I imagine that theres no way I could convince you to change your mind?"
"No." Altec peered into the water as well, aware of the situation, but secretly enjoying the calm of the moment.
"OK, fine then.." The stocky Imperial stood up and brushed his hands on his pants, "Can I ask you a question though?" He hadn't expected Altec to answer, but continued regardless. "Why? After so much Altec, after so much learning and training, after what you've become?"
They both stood in silence for several long moments. Doctor Valatine began to perspire, he knew the end was near after all, he helped create Altec and his brother. The assassin turned his body towards the doctor and brought his eyes to his.
"Retribution" Were the last words the doctor heard before Altec summon the spirit sword and plunged it through the Doctors chest cavity. The body went limp almost instantly as it fell to the ground, the pool of blood already growing around it. Altec glanced one last time at his.. "father" and made his leave.

SadrilSadril smiled revealing his white fangs, glistening in the candlelight, "Yes. They were most definitely linked, his and mine. They allowed us to communicate as well as allowed me to teleport to his
home. Only one way, mind you, if that even makes a difference. The amulet could only take you there, not bring you back.

Voltar
Voltar picked up the amulet and brought it back to the tome on his desk.
"As long as it's there with him, that's all I need," said almost in a distracted fashion, his mind all ready jumping ahead to the plans he was about to perform.
He intended to use the amulet as a pathway between the dimensions, all he needed to manipulate the bond between them to allow passage, that and break the current barrier that was created when Veric was banished.
He created an empty space within the shack and placed the amulet in the center of the room, he then began to scrawl characters and symbols onto the floor surrounding the amulet with a jar of Daedra blood. After finishing the drawings, he concentrated his magic into the blood, causing the blood to turn from black to a pulsating dark green colour.
Voltar grasped the Staff of Worldly Demise, another key object needed to perform this task. It was then that he remembered the presense of the stranger.
"I would suggest you stand back," Voltar said as the staff began to emanate a red hue.

Sadril raised an eyebrow at the man and obeyed his request to step back. He slowly paced backwards until his heel felt the wall. It had taken many dead ends and twenty years to reach this point, but he never expected this man would be able to free Veric so quickly.
He certainly knows what he is doing. Kind of.. scary.
I wonder if I... Sadril stared intently at the Altmer.
Should I really allow Veric to return? No, of course I should... He must maintain the balance. The prophecy must be allowed to take its course.
