Lopov – Nice glimpse into Joe’s ‘home’ life before he sets out for another day of ‘venturing in the badlands. Aww, teddybear. Finally upgraded his shovel! It looks like that new club can do some serious damage! ohmy.gif

SubRosa - Persephone looks great – naturally her weapon, hair, armor and accessories all complement each other. wink.gif Seeing the sights – I recognize the Tennleytown Metro stop. That giant dude she fought looks like he’s toting the next weapon for Lopov’s Big Joe! I love the ‘attitude’ look on Persephone’s face after winning that fight. And yay, another Robbie the Robot! tongue.gif

I know that spot where the caravan was. I have seen two of them there sometimes, and there is always a Legion ambush to the north.

Joe's shovel looks like a toothpick in Dinky the Dinosaur's mouth! biggrin.gif
Lol about the toothpick!

Since I use a mod that makes merchants stronger, they usually survive the first attack from the Legion but they get butchered later on because they're attacked two times more, once by raiders, then again by the Legion. If it weren't for Joe, they'd be dead.

QUOTE(mALX @ Jun 30 2015, 10:29 PM) *
Love the shot in the dinosaur's mouth' but my absolute favorite is the last one of Joe in the new wardrobe - not because of the clothes, but his pose/facial expression, etc. That shot looks so real - it is spectacular!
I like changing outfits from time to time.

QUOTE(Acadian @ Jun 30 2015, 10:38 PM) *

Sunglasses aren't that easy to find in NV, that's why they were given to him with the console.

"Morning, Teddy."

Washin' up

Hold up, Rocketeers!

Ghouls. Lots of them.

At this point Joe realized that his trusted shovel is getting more and more useless and conveniently, he found a rebar club on a mutant's corpse.

Big toy

Rebar club in action

More action

Rebar vs Rebar

Lastly, some shots if you piss off the guy on the other side of the Intercom in the REPCONN factory. This happens if you ask him for his location three times in a row, which Joe did. And then when you find him, you have to talk over the Intercom again, he unlocks the door for your immediately but if you want, you can still activate the Intercom, but he's not very happy about it.

SPEW!!! Joe messing with the ghoul on the intercom!!! rollinglaugh.gif

That shot with all those ghouls running toward him freaked me completely = GHAAAAAAAH!!!!!

That quest/"dungeon crawl" was one of my favorite; but on the XBox 360 it caused a fatal glitch in the game that wiped out all your saves except the first Goodsprings one. After my first lost game I was afraid to do it again.

That rebar looks wicked, it is almost as big as Joe, lol.

I thought the "washing up" was really great; I would not have thought of using that (drinking animation?) - smart !!!

OMG, Persephone took on a Behemoth with only a sword? Holy Cow!!!!!!! I am floored by this battle !!!!

That Raider vs super mutant spot has got me killed in the crossfire more than once, lol.

The Lucky Shades! Woo Hoo !!! They are a "must have" for me in every FO3 playthrough!

Urban Renewal looks like the rear exit from 3 Dog's place! (?)

Those poor robots never last long for me, probably because I send them out alone into the fray while I loot the office embarrased.gif I guess if I stayed with them like Persephone is doing it would be nicer, and they might even survive the battle ... sad.gif ... (sorry Robbie...)

All great shots!!! I especially had to love the ones where Persephone is taking on a Behemoth with just a sword, that is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Bunch of great shots!
The Red Menace billboards are my favorite in the Capital Wasteland.

Is that Persephone under the effect of a stealth boy in the "Persephone won" pic?

Great shots of battle with the behemoth, I almost didn't find its head in the first pic, it really blends with the body.

Love the shot of Persephone posing with the behemoth face in the ground behind her.

Sounds like a serious glitch regarding the quest Come fly with me. Though it's often criticized as being one of the worst quests in FNV, it remains as one of my favorites and almost every character does it.

Joe Burg helped Bright's ghouls depart on the Great Journey to the Far Beyond. He doesn't know where is this Far Beyond nor how do they managed to travel in pre-war rockets but as long as ghouls are happy, so is he. He hopes they'll find peace and won't be harassed by humans anymore.

If your Intelligence and Science are high enough, you can use the navigation console to help directing rockets for the Great Journey but if you're not really smart, you can mash on the keys. And feel good after doing it.

Lopov - Glad Joe’s rocket science experiment worked out okay. tongue.gif ‘Joe leaves Novac’ is a beautiful shot, so crisp, sharp in the details and Joe looks great! Love the road signs! And Big Joe’s Big Club in action. ohmy.gif
SubRosa
Persephone was using a Stealth Boy in the Raider vs Super Mutants pic and the following Persephone Won pic. She Stealthed up, then sneaked down to the walkway by the water. That triggers the mutants to appear across the river. I was surprised that the Raiders won the gunfight. Usually a Mutant spawns with a minigun, and he just cleans house. But he either never spawned, or a Raider got lucky with a headshot and his body fell in the river. Because I only found one Mutant with a rifle afterward.

Love the Mashing Keys pics! laugh.gif Obviously Joe is not one of the brightest fission batteries in the pack... But his heart, and his big right hand, is in the right place.

I really liked the Come Fly With Me quest. I thought it was one of the best in the game. I loved seeing the rockets blasting off at the end. The Space Suit is handy for the radioactive areas too. Annie Ley Oak used to use it a lot, especially for exploring Camp Searchlight.

And Joe is squishing bugs! He has a much better flyswatter now... wink.gif

The mashing computer keys had me rolling laughing! I love that quest, seeing the rocket take off was one of those awesome game moments - and I've only gotten to see it once so far, but I have the PC game now and from what I've heard all the glitches were patched out of it; so hope to see it again now!

Helios One is another of my absolute favorite quests, but I usually pick up all the broken satellite dish parts and bring them to the Boomers.

Joe looks really good in that red shirt - Holy Cow, he is fighting a cazador with that rebar? I have to look up the stats on that, that is Awesome !!!!

All great shots, I love seeing Joe in New Vegas !!!

Girl on the Moon – What a great idea and how clever of you to capture that! One small step for a dead girl, one giant leap for mankind.

Mashing on the keys! Fantastic! NV really is clever when it adds little details like that to the game. Credit where credit is due, Obsidian did a great amount in a short amount of time. smile.gif

Aww, she looks genuinely sad in the graveyard pic.

Standing Tall almost looked real to me for a spilt second. Like a slightly-blurry snapshot.

Ha ha ha bots being blown to pieces!

Lopov: whoa you can mash some keys if you're not smart enough to just type into them? Whoa that makes it worth the experience of being dumb, in a way!
Lopov
So the first woman to walk the Moon was Persephoon.

Looks like that she's about to win the Minigun duel, one mutie already went down.

The shot of the graveyard is my favorite this time.

Great shots of the Nuka Battle.

Let's stay in the Capital Wasteland, specifically above it:

Uh oh!

Not a bad dream

The plan was to trick aliens into believing that Somah and Marl were about to kill each other.

It worked and aliens came rushing it, that's when Somah and Marl jumped on them...

...though Somah was unfortunately killed by aliens, Marl managed to save himself.

More of them came rushing to the holding cells but they didn't last long.

Not long after Marl met Sally, a girl from before the war as well. He didn't feel comfortable that he was wearing nothing but his underwear.

And when Sally told him that "bombs already dropped" and that it's year 2277, Marl couldn't stay on his legs anymore.

After gaining his senses, he and Sally went on, and surprisingly he found his pre-war stuff in one of the containers.

I love the meat from those Nikalurks! I really wish there were more of them in game, their meat is awesome!

The shot of Persephone standing over the grave at Arlington has to be my absolute favorite; what a spectacular shot! She really looks sad in that, how on earth did you get that expression! That is Awesome!!!

My second favorite is the nukablast of the robot, lol. I have never seen a nuka grenade in action, always saved them for a bigger fight or something - that is Awesome!!

Great update !!!

OMG, Somah died? I thought she was essential! Oh crap, I'll have to play that out more carefully from now on - I need her badly for equipment repairs and in the final battle she runs all four generators! Urk, I never knew she could die ... verysad.gif I guess I've just been lucky all these times that she survived.

I see poor Marl got the alien butt probe, Misa sympathizes with him, they go her too. (and took her clothes as well).

The screen where his legs bucle is stunning, how did you make that pose?

All awesome shots!

Only Sally is essential because she's a child, everyone else can die though it happened to me for the first time that Somah died so early. I usually lose Paulson along the way when overwhelmed by aliens, however this time everyone except Somah survived until the end.

Here's the vanilla idle pose catalog, I think that SubRosa told me about it some time ago. Before playing any animation, SAVE your game because some are caught in a loop and never end, so they're good for taking screenies but then you have to reload. To start the animation, press "tfc", move camera to any position you wish, click on your PC and type "playidle [ID of animation]" - IDs are written in every pic. For instance, to play this particular animation with Marl falling on his knees, I typed playidle LooseDLC05DisturbedReactionC but I didn't need to reload afterwards because the animation terminated by itself.

Lastly, the mechanic outfit appears in the Anchorage DLC but can't be obtained by normal means, you can only get it with the console commands.

Lopov
Persephone and the Burnmaster made me think of Torcher - a raider that lives up to his name because he can deal a lot of damage with his flamer and carries an eponymous mask. I hope that Persephone will cross his path one day and show him that there was still a lot to learn.

So what did Headless Abe have to say?

Oh thank you so much for the info! SubRosa told me about that mod too, and I DL'd it - I guess I forgot about it!!! embarrased.gif

These shots are great - I love MZ, especially now that I've finally learned how to beat the final battle!

I know that last shot is where I used to find the Samurai's sword; but the last two times I played MZ (both this year) - I have not been able to find that garbage area anymore; had to console myself the sword. I guess I just can't remember where it is anymore.

Favorite shot = Exploring with Paulson; what an Awesome shot!

Lopov
To find the Samurai's Sword, you have to first teleport to the Maintenance Area, reachable from the Engineering Core, the main area of the spaceship. Then you have to talk to Sally while she's repairing the elevator until she screws something up and the elevator begins rapidly going down until you eventually fall from it and land among garbage. However, the sword can be found at the very end of the area, in a small room with several first aid boxes.

The final battle was different for me this time because Somah died at the beginning and she wasn't able to keep the generators running so they went offline and Marl had to switch them back on manually.

Ahh, the old MZ. Thanks for bringing up the memories about that one. I have only played through it once and I really did enjoy it. Zeta is a mixed bag for me, I like the beginning and the part where you unfreeze other people on the ship and destroy generators either alone or with their help. Up to this point they did a good job with the DLC, since every character has unique comments if you let them accompany you.

I don't like what follows, though, actually I find it really boring. After Space Walk you just get teleported from one area to another until you eventually reach the Bridge and kill the Alien Captain. I like the galactic battle with the other spaceship, it's much more climatic than the battle with the Captain which goes down very easy.

I feel that I've had enough of Zeta for a few years now that I've done it for the 3rd time.

I did not like it either the first time I tried Mothership Zeta. I got about half way through and stopped playing. Mixing genres the way it does just completely rubbed me the wrong way.

But when years later I wanted to play a genuine samurai from 16th Century Japan, I realized that the Mothership was the perfect way to make that happen. The aliens keep people on ice from all time periods. So it can be a wonderful roleplaying device.

Awesome pics SubRosa!

Fallout 3 stands as my favorite Beth game. Indoor battles with muties and Sentry Bots will always be the ultimate moment in video gaming for me. Fallout 3 allows so many different tactics, like melee as Persephone shows, or grenades and mines, or sneak and sniper, or missiles screaming down hallways, or ghoul mask, or using followers, everything is covered.

The online Call of Duty crowd are missing out!
