Blondie looks good in her long coat riot gear. It never seems to look as good on my characters.

Wow, snow in a Fallout game! That is a rare sight.

Cool, Blondie has the Terrifying Presence perk! I have always been tempted to take that.

The Utah nights have lots of stars. It reminds me of Oblivion.

The end of Blondie's shift is my favorite of the second pic. Love how the sun rises behind her shoulder.
Acadian
Such great pictures, Lopov! Where's the second moon over Utah. . . oh, wait. . . nevermind. I'm still loving Blondie's new hair. That last picture is just magnificent! happy.gif
Renee
Wow, look at that night sky. That's beautiful stuff. That picture of Blondie "working" (with the poor guy getting incinerated) is also lovely in its own way. Too bad somebody had to get on her bad side for this to happen.

Aww, and she goes home after her shift. Have one for me, Blondie!

QUOTE(Lopov @ Nov 7 2015, 10:50 AM) *

Hey, don't laugh at the last pic, it has to end with a ciggie.

I'm not laughing at the cigarette, I'm laughing at your apparently subconscious desire for at least one dead-center pic per session; your character staring intently into the "camera". You've been doing this for years, it cracks me up for some reason hehe.gif I really like Blondie's eyes in the ciggie pic too. She looks more haggard than she did when you first created her long ago, but this makes sense, of course.

It's time for the final shodown, it's time for New Vegas Bounties III. I'll skip pics of some major and minor events that took place in between, and also to avoid some spoilers if anyone will ever try out New Vega Bounties mods.

In short - at the beginning of NVBIII Blondie was contacted by Virgil, one of Marko's henchmen. He told her that Marko himself would like to settle a score with her in Deep Creek Mountains in Utah. After she had to help Virgil take care of some business in the Mojave, he was ready to take Blondie to Utah.

Blondie parts ways with Guts

Blondie was warned by Virgil to come to Utah alone, because her companions will be "removed". So she left Gutsie at Gibson's place until she returns. That is - if she returns. indifferent.gif

Oh, and she has a new hairstyle, compatible with most headgear. wink.gif

Blondie in Riot Gear

Blondie was told that it's very, very cold in Deep Creek Mountains so she put on something more appropriate than her sleeveless duster.

Blondie ready to depart

This pic was taken just outside the cave at Northern Passage. The guy in the pic is Virgil.

Destination Frosthill

Sounds ominous, doesn't it?

Intro slideshow 1

Intro slideshow 2

The mod author did a really great job by creating intro slides just like in official DLCs.

Blondie comes to Utah

Virgil left her as soon as she arrived, heading back to Marko's encampment. At least that's what he said.

Blondie ambushed

Looks like this guy doesn't feel cold at all.

Blondie meets Randall

Randall was her boss in NVB I.

Blondie in Randall's Camp

Blondie meets Ford

Ford is one of potential companions in the mod, and very cocky at that.

Blondie has a way with words

While the vanilla game doesn't offer much choices for the Terrifying Presence Perk, you can often "impress" people with this perk in NVB mods.

Blondie

It has to end with a ciggie.

I am so highly impressed with this mod! These are all great shots, I think a favorite is hard to choose! It is hard to beat the first though, saying goodbye to Guts.

I have never seen or been offered that perk in any of my games, I am intrigued and going to look up how to get it, lol.

Love Blondie's pony tail and her riot gear, she is ready for action!

Great shots !!!

QUOTE(Renee @ Nov 6 2015, 08:26 AM) *

I love her new hair too. That's a mod, right? Okay, because I was going to say you might not need a mod to make this "Blondie". laugh.gif Kidding.

They did an incredible job with New Vegas Bounties, I agree. Do you know who the Lizard King originally was? That was Jim Morrison of the Doors, he was called that because he often wore leather all over the place, and he also had a fondness toward reptiles. Talented guy, but also creepy in a lot of ways. Nice to see somebody puts his name in a videogame mod, ha ha.

WOOOOOT !!! Thank you for the info on JM and where that came from!

Every set of screens you post makes me fall more and more in love with this mod! I'm ready to start playing FO:NV just from seeing these screens! Awesome shots, and love Blondie's pony tail!

I am assuming this mod is off the road at the NW corner of the map; where the snowy hills from Jacobstown are? If correct - I've always wanted to be able to go further on that road! laugh.gif

Great shots!

Lopov
First of all, thanks for your always kind comments. goodjob.gif

@SubRosa - I checked the Fallout Wiki regarding the Terrifying Presence perk, it has a lot of uses but I guess that because you need at least 70 in Speech, players often choose it when they reach higher levels and thus miss many speech checks at low levels. The Riot Gear looks nice but it degrades very quickly, much quickly than her Courier Duster.

@Acadian - I also thought of the second Moon when watching night skies of Utah. She seems to be satisfied with her own hair as well. Funny, when I think back of times when her head was half-shaved.

@Renee - you don't necessarily need to get on Blondie's bad side to get killed, as long as there's a bounty on your head, it's good enough for her. cool.gif So far she spared only one guy but still wonders whether she made the right decision. Yeah, she looks rather haggard, that's what excessive smoking, not consuming enough vitamins and a daily dose of killing will do to your skin.

@mALX - while the landscape is indeed similar to Mt. Charleston, this mod takes place in a entirely new worldspace, namely the Deep Creek Mountains in Utah. Make sure to let us know when you launch your own bounty hunting career.

Acadian
How does Blondie do in the cold? Looks like she's got plenty of it to deal with during her winter in Utah.

Sledge vs knife, but Blondie still prevailed!

Lol, now she's finishing her days with both a ciggie and a drink? tongue.gif
SubRosa
Blondie is taking on a Hammer-wielding Nord? Is that outside of Dawnstar? wink.gif

Looks like Bill saw his last day of pedarassing...

Love Blondie sitting down for a drink with corpses to either side!

My favorite shot in these is the Frosthill one. On the right it looks just like where the Seward Square nut stands right before he blows the alley up (unless you snipe him in time); but that gorgeous mountain in the background really makes that shot.

The dialogue this mod adds is hilarious, laugh.gif

I didn't realize this was the day FO4 was out. I am eager to hear how it plays, and the truth about just what did make it in the game and what did not - like items degrading, etc...
Lopov
@Acadian - Blondie doesn't like cold at all, she couldn't wait to get back to the Mojave. But she admits that the scenery looks nice. Sometimes in the evenings she prefers to drink some whiskey or scotch while having a smoke but compared to my other Fallout characters, Blondie drinks much less.

@SubRosa - yeah, that Nord in leather armor was quite tough to bring down, Blondie had to knock him down a few times to get some precious time to hurt him. The quest to kill him wasn't radiant, though. bigsmile.gif She had to provoke Bill because if she attacked him first, she'd get paid less and citizens of Frosthill would get angry.

@mALX - you even get your own room in Frosthill hotel if you clear it of rats. Looks like that killing rats isn't present only in Beth games but in many mods as well.

@Grits - welcome to the world of Fallout. I'm looking forward to seeing your screenies, even more so because my laptop can't handle FO4.

Wow, Joe is pretty harsh with his words.... *ahem* was pretty harsh with his words.

Blondie must have Animal Friends perk, which is a nice one to have. Marge also took that perk, long ago.

Porter's grammar sucks. laugh.gif "I is gone?...." rollinglaugh.gif He must have done well during Metal Shop though.
SubRosa
I am thinking that when Blondie stops listening to Joe, he's also going to stop breathing...

I was right! laugh.gif

Awwww, what a cute bear!

I have been playing Persephone so long that when I read that Blondie disarmed Porter, I expected one of said arms to be laying on the floor! Blondie is a much nicer person.

SubRosa
Love Jenna's glasses! Looks like she has a Merc Outfit on. She could definitely use that conditioner though.

So what does the 81 mean on the Hud? Does it mean she is viewing 81 degrees from North? Is the little outline of a person on the hud to the right of that someone on the radar (as opposed to the dots we had with FO3/NV?)

Awww, doggy! smile.gif
Renee
Christ, look at those graphics. ohmy.gif Jenna looks pretty. The whole "vault suit" thing still cracks me up with laughter for some reason.
Grits
SubRosa, I think the Minuteman outline on the compass is an undiscovered location marker for Concord. Enemies appear as red dots on the compass and there are little squares that I think are quest markers. The number is the distance that you are from whatever the thing under the number is, so she is 81 whatever from the Minuteman location. I don’t know what the units are for the number.

Renee, and that’s just my PS4. I bet the PC game is even prettier. The light is gorgeous. Jenna just stood in a creek for a few minutes today staring at the trees, until she realized that water is radiation’s good buddy. She ditched her vault suit immediately. It sort of screams “I’m new here, murder me.”

I’ve had a thought about how quickly some items are made available, like power armor. Players who want to do their own thing don’t have to go through a long series of quests to get it. As much as I want to do the quests, it’s already tempting to just take off and wander. It seems that an issue that makes the game’s story feel rushed accommodates the player who is making up their own story. I’m all for the independent player! smile.gif
Renee
Neat, so that is PS4? Sweet! I'm thinking of getting a PS4, maybe a year from now when they come even further down in price.

QUOTE

She put it on brand new in a pristine vault that was protected from any of that destruction; and the vault suit was cryogenically preserved with her in the pod; which is how it was still clean 210 years later.

I like wearing them because NPC's comment about them if you have them on, laugh.gif

Lopov
@Renee - Animal Friend is a very useful perk as long as it fits a character's personality, of course. In Blondie's case I like to imagine that animals partially fear her. Maybe Porter was taught by the Sleak, that's why his grammar is so bad.

@SubRosa - Joe is one of those targets that don't fight back, when he finished his speech, he didn't become hostile. Not that this saved him from losing his head.

@Acadian - Joe certainly drank his last bottle of milk.

@mALX - yeah, Yao Guais make interesting sounds when approached, I rarely noticed it until now because I don't often pick the Animal Friend perk.

@Grits - whoa, look at that, great screenies! The first one reminds me of Fallout 3. A great shot of Jensa and her dog, very nice. She looks good in "glasses" and her new outfit, I wonder how is it called?

Bounty hunters' camp under attack by raiders led by notorious duo Ingram & Saunders

Blondie, an expert in vaporizing

Raiders killed most of the bounty hunters and severely wounded Blondie, she had to hide behind a shack to heal herself. But when she returned, she was more than ready to kill every last one of them.

Blondie kills Saunders, one of the leaders. His friend Ingram was killed earlier but not by Blondie, she found his corpse at the camp's entrance.

The battle was over, with Blondie, Thorne, Randall and a few bounty hunters being the only survivors.

Blondie's riot gear was damaged beyond repairable so she equipped a bounty hunter duster instead. Not as warm as her previous outfit but more comfortable.

Though they got on each other's nerves early on, Blondie & Thorne befriended after the battle.
mALX

Blondie is going to be cold in that outfit! I like the merc suit her friend is wearing, it looks a bit warmer, lol.

Is this camp on the way to Marko?

Lopov
No, that's the camp of Blondie's boss Steven Randall who didn't participate in the fight because he glitched and stayed inside his shack, that coward. nono.gif Blondie never visited Marko's camp because Marko visited her first...and he wasn't nice, you'll see. indifferent.gif In terms of pics we're not far from the final showdown.
Acadian
Grits, your game looks great. Jenna looks fabulous, but I can see where she'd be unhappy that her german shepherd pal's hair looks better than hers! tongue.gif

Lopov, plenty of action for Blondie. Her headband and ciggie look great. Nice she's got someone to help watch her back some. After all, that bounty huntin's dangerous business. wink.gif
Grits
Thanks, folks! I'm happy with how this game looks. smile.gif

Lopov, the outfit is called Road Leathers and she had two Raider arm pieces on over it in the picture. She has since found better looking but less protective leather armor pieces and a very cool hat. She still wears the Road Leathers under the leather armor pieces. Also she needs to find a left arm piece. Now that she has been attacked by a bunch of things and met some people that she likes, she does not want to wear scavenged Raider stuff anymore.
Lopov
@mALX - Thorne's Outfit is called Explorer's Gear and in the vanilla game it's worn by Orion Moreno only. I think that the same outfit has a different name in Fallout 3 and is more common.

@Acadian - Thorne is a really well done character, very fleshed out. First he wants to come across as a no-nonsense, cold bounty hunter but when you get to know him better, he admits that it's mostly for shows because in this kind of business one can't be too jokey.

--

Despite suffering heavy losses during the attack, Randall & Associates continued its operation in Deep Creek Mountains, with its prime bounty hunter Blondie chasing down Angel Lee, one of Marko's top gunmen. Not to disrupt the peace in saloon, they stepped outside and finished things off in an old-fashioned way.

The last one before heading for Marko himself was scalphunter Glanton who threatened Blondie to press the detonator and thus blow up several child captives. But Blondie vaporized him before he could do anything and saved the kids.

With most prominent criminals of Deep Creek Mountains gone, bounty hunters were ready to move on to Marko. However, when Blondie was supposed to get details from Brookshire, the NCR Agent at Randall's Camp, he incapacitated her with a sleeping gas. When Blondie woke up, she was tied and gagged in the middle of Frosthill, along with every other resident and her boss Randall. Ford, the guy on the right, and a few surviving bounty hunters, also betrayed her.

Marko, the man in black, himself arrived, and Blondie realized she already met him before but under a different name. He had entire town killed in front of Blondie's eyes before explaining his plan that Randall and she were in fact tricked by Brookshire to kill all of his former accomplices, thus getting rid of all competition and open doors for himself and the NCR to establish a new community in Frosthill. Of course it was also about revenge, let's not forget that Blondie killed Marko's brother Sergio.

When all residents of Frosthill were dead, Marko gave Blondie a final speech and had her buried alive in an unmarked grave in the middle of nowhere.

Lopov
It's a bit shocking, I know. kvright.gif It came to me as a shock too. Mirocu, she had to be just kidding with you. This game has been out since 2010; and Lopov's screens are depicting a mod for that game. And since the whole mod storyline has been written out in story form around Blondie's screens, how could your question reveal anything that wasn't already discussed?

Anyway, there is no way you asking a question about if it is at the end of the main quest on an (over 5 year old) game could possibly be a spoiler.

Asking questions is never a spoiler, only answering questions could be considered spoilerish, and the answers could be put in spoiler tags in that case if they would be.

So she had to be just messing with you; you did nothing wrong asking a question.

I did not look Lopov’s post that I knew would contain screenshots of a game I don’t want to see yet. It was mirocu’s comment that told me the end of the story. I only read his comment because I had posted screenshots in this thread and couldn’t have known who he was talking to until I read it.

This is the exact situation that I brought up yesterday. The group decided that it wasn’t an issue, and it’s still not an issue for the group. It’s just an issue for me.

The solution for you is simple, start your own screenshot thread like SubRosa did for her screenshots, and then the only comments you will see will be over your own screens.

I still reiterate though, asking a question is not a spoiler; only answering them could be considered spoilerish.

Lopov's game is one that has been out over 5 years, you would have to live in a bubble to not see screens of it around all over the internet.

On the other hand, You have posted screens and given info out on FO4 (which just came out) on this thread and that could be considered spoilers to everyone since only you and two others are playing that game so far; and since it has just been released there could be many others eventually buying and playing it.

So if you are going to make Mirocu feel like he has breached some line in your mind; you need to make sure your own actions are within your own rigid limits for others. You are being unfair to Mirocu.

You are being unfair to Mirocu.

mALX, I’m not sure where your accusations are coming from. If you have an issue with the screenshots I posted here by request or anything else that I’ve posted, report the objectionable material and a moderator will take appropriate action.

I don't have any problems, this thread is one of my favorites. I love seeing all the screenshots of games whether I have played them or not. So now this has become off topic, so no need to respond further.

Lopov, what a chilling ending to that mod!

Too bad there seemed to be a bit of a misunderstanding regarding mirocu’s comments about your screenshots. Thanks for wisely using the PM system to clarify things with those concerned.

To help keep this thread from going any further off topic, I would urge further discussion of this misunderstanding, if deemed necessary, be done via PM between those involved. smile.gif

Thanks, Acadian! smile.gif

I’ve been very excited to finally be able to participate in the Fallout part of this great community. You guys have made me feel welcome, even though I’m a n00b fresh from the Vault. I’m happy to upload screenshots so folks can make a decision about the game. Nothing I ever post here will provide insight into quests.

Here’s a screenshot from the Commonwealth (to be perfectly clear, that means FO4) of Jenna’s new hat, by request.

PC players, fear not. This is from the PS4. I’m sure the far ground will have better detail in your game!

I like the picture. The videos I´ve seen didn´t quite display the "Fallout feel" to me, but that pic did.. smile.gif

I'm really stunned by this mod and how intricate the storyline is with it! The dual identity thing is sheer genius! I was pretty stunned that Blondie was overcome by him, I hope you have a different outcome to this coming up in future screens!!!!

Great armor, and those buildings look to be the best I've seen yet in the game!

Thanks, guys! I think they did a great job with this game’s aesthetic. The light and color are beautiful, and even the urban areas have a sense of distance and space. Storms can be terrifying! I’ve been watching my son explore a ruined industrial area that I can’t wait to go see with Jenna. I was hoping for a world that I would want to inhabit with my characters, and so far FO4 has delivered.

Also the stuff just looks cool. I’ve found a lot of gear that doesn’t suit Jenna but looked awesome on the scumbags who were wearing it. She still can’t shoot for [censored] (totally my fault), but at least her guns look badass! laugh.gif

Cho Zenwahn wants to get high.

And he does it

Jenna looks lovely in her hat.
