I rarely see Outcast Sentry Bots. It´s either Protectrons or Robobrains, both common in my game

There is an ear mod for FONV, and a whole race. They might be portable to FO3.


I tend to mostly get the Robobrains with the Outcast patrols too. Rarely the other two.

The second one was taken just outside of Springvale Elementary. One of these days I'm going to drive to Springvale, find their elementary school, and .... that'll be weird comparing the actual school to what happens to it in the year 2077 or whatever.

Any uniform will do, even if it's from a dead Enclave's officer. Although you can get your entire inventory back, I pretended that some things were destroyed to make the game more interesting. So his combat armor was destroyed and he had to rely on whatever he found on the ship.

Were you at Zeta, mirocu? Or did you avoid this questline too? There's some good loot to be found in the space.

I did Zeta only once, 5-6 years ago, really disliked it back then, disliked it as much as possible. But this time it's different, I don't find Zeta so bad, actually not bad at all. I'm taking it slowly this time, exploring all areas and talking with other captives and I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm sure that a reason why I didn't like it for the first time, is because I didn't RP, I just rushed through it.

I have only done Zeta twice. The first time it left me feeling very unenthused, and I gave up halfway through. The second time I used it as the origin story for my samurai Oda Hidetaka. It was a wonderful way to get a 16th Century Japanese warrior into the DC Wasteland.

That's a good idea to start a character. Was Hidetaka like Toshiro - she didn't understand any words?

I RP'ed that the aliens injected her with translator microbes, so she could understand all languages.

I was afraid that the Captain might be dangerous because B.B.'s companions glitched and didn't teleport with him to the Bridge so he had to take care of him and all others alone, that's why he attacked him first and SQUISH, the captain was no more!

@Subrosa - love the Planetarium shot & Dealing with a badman and I'm sure that I've never come across a micro brewery. The first thing that I noticed on the Map shot, is an inscription on the rock behind.

Here's my new character - Goodman, the wasteland gentleman, at the Prospector Saloon.

Goodman needs a hat I think. Maybe a fedora. Something classy.

I´m sceptic... I took that way down to T. Tower but I don´t think I snapped a pic around that area. Sorry, can´t tell.

The RIP Joe Cobb pic makes me think of the "Big Iron On His Hip" song.

Unfortunately some blonde-haired rebel from the Capital Wasteland secured that spaceship before Goodman.

Cobb dying never gets old, he just doesn't deserve to live. I might had a character or two in the past that sided with him but even they felt bad afterwards.

I have never had a character side with Cobb and the Power Gangers. Though granted I have only played 3 FONV characters.
