Yeah, it has the USB ports and the fan controls on the top of the case (and oddly enough, a SATA port as well). Not really an issue for me, but I can see it being one for some people. I just have the case on the floor next to my desk instead of actually in it. I like being able to access it without unplugging everything and pulling it out of the desk.

It has room for liquid cooling, but I'm not messing with that... yet. The lights stay on, the only difference is the lights get a little brighter when you turn the fans to full power.

Those sound like typical engineers.

I love all the space inside of it though, my previous case was getting crowded. The only bad thing about it is that the connection for the USBs had a really odd end that my mother board didn't support. So they are useless, I have to plug into the back. Whatever.

That computer looks evil. I'm saying it now, it looks evil. It's not quite the obsidian altar of a computer that a friend of mine has, which I'm convinced needs a virgin sacrificed to it in order to boot up, but it still scares me.

So.. since the world didn't end at 21, how have you been, Chorrol? More updates from stories both familiar and new, I'd wager.

I have just wrapped a tree. It’s a little taller than the Christmas tree, so it’s not going to make it under there with the rest of the presents. It’s kind of beside.

This is my best gift wrapping triumph ever.

Who asked for a tree? Or is this a total surprise?

It’s for The Girl’s room, a total surprise. She is going to be astonished. It’s perfect. I can’t wait for her to get up! Everyone is still asleep here. I had to go retrieve electronics last night since they were still awake. I could tell when I watched Aravi’s video and it was slow to load that there was after-hours internet activity going on in my house.

Hmm... Anybody sneaking more science videos?

I hope you share The Girl's reaction to getting a tree for Christmas.

Grits, that sounds like a real feat of Christmas wrapperie! Is it a real or pretend tree? What kind? I have several pretend trees in the house and really like them. This time of year they each have a strand of lights on them.

He’s learned not to watch funny videos, because I can hear him in there laughing!

It’s a pretend tree, pure white aspen with three trunks in a white pot with little white stones. Her room is a vibrant shade of green best described as “Dear God That’s Green,” and most other things in there are white. It’s going to look awesome as soon as we get The Boy away from Halo 4 and Mr. Grits back from wherever he went to play with his new sword so they can move it. (It’s a practice sword. I expect he’s out in the garage hitting things.) Lights is a great idea!

The Girl’s first reaction was a squeak of excitement when she realized that the giant red cylinder had her name on it. That’s when I suggested that she spit out her gum. (Santa found some sugarless Juicy Fruit for the kids with braces.) It took some doing to make a hole in the paper, and then she made a gasp that took all of the air out of the room! That reaction was my Christmas present. It’s hard to pull off a surprise these days!

My other favorite present is the headset for The Boy. Blissful silence while he’s gaming, at least until he gets online and starts swearing at his friends. I should have done this ages ago!

Lol. I was chuckling all the way through the Grits Christmas morning! The tree sounds great and pulling it off as a surprise is pretty remarkable.

My presents included a new pair of running shoes, a cel phone (my first!) and some goodies from the most important food group. Chocolate is much more important than the other lesser food groups of pizza and beer.

If you could choose an actor or voice actor for one character in your fanfic, (if you haven't written a fanfic for a character in a book you've read) who would you choose?

Vokun: If you've read my fanfic aftermath, you'd know that Vokun is the main villain. If I could choose a voice actor for him, I'd choose Arnold Schwarzenegger. He's got just enough of an accent that you could tell Vokun is a Nord, but he still also can sound evil.

Hastrel: I'd choose Jeremy Irons. Hastrel is a Breton after all.

For Rex I'd choose fifty cent, just because I feel like it

Westley would be voiced by James Earl Jones. He has a deep, somewhat threatening voice, yet he's also has a wise and caring voice. Matches Westley's hero personality.

The Nordic werewolf brothers: Hroar and Hjalfi

Hroar would be voiced by Chris Hemsworth and Hjalfi by Tom Hiddleston. Their relationship with each other is somewhat like that if Thor and Loki. ( yes I'm a avengers fan)

The Earl of Imbel: His voice would be the same as it is in-game.

Ben: Matthew Broderick would be Ben's voice actor. In the story, Ben is only 21 years old, so he sounds a bit young.

Manu Bennet for Kraven Desselius. He's a character that I always envisioned him with a deep, almost raspy voice. Manly! Since he's my macho character. I think Crixus would be the appropiate match/voice!

For my vampire character, Draken Decumus, I would pick Sam Witwer. He nailed Starkiller's voice, and I pictured my character sounding somewhat like him.

As for my female pureblood Daughter of Coldharbour, Raven Meridius, Grey DeLesle would voice her. No doubt. Calm, suave voice. Those who read "Order Vampyrum" may have thought she had a little child-like voice. Sorry to dissapoint, hehe. But she's one of my favorite characters, and I guess her voice would be almost identical as to the character of "Azula," made manifest by voice actress Grey.

I wanted to thank everyone for their kindness, support, and prayers through my mother's illness. She is still battling the cancer, well past the date the doctors limited her to. Thank you all so much, your friendship has meant the world to me!

I am back home now, and as of ten minutes ago I now have my PC back working again - WOO HOO !!! I'll be catching up on all my reading and vid viewing!

Well, never mind that. My PC is broken again, seems to have a loose wire in the connection to the hard drive. I can wiggle it and it will go for a while, then it quits again.
