Thanks all, glad you like the shots.

I had a lot of fun taking them.
@Lopov,
Cheers! When I create characters, even when modded, I try to ensure they look as though they belong in the game world, so I really appreciate your comment.
The image was taken just outside of the
Raven's Nest house, which is a reasonably short walk from Jacobstown.
I LOVE your characters, and how different they are from one another!
@Renee,
Awww.. thanks

I was trying to go for something that was attractive, but didn't deviate too far from vanilla. I actually have never played FO3, to be honest. Typically, I have tended more toward fantasy than futuristic/apocalyptic games, but in August GOG had all of their Bethesda titles on sale for 50% off, and since I'd heard amazing things about New Vegas, I grabbed it. I'm now wishing I'd also picked up F03, but ah well, maybe another time. As you know, unmodded FO:NV has that sepia filter that makes everything look brownish, but I've seen screenshots of FO3, and I agree, the sepia is still an improvement; in my opinion, at least.
@SubRosa,
Heh! Well, considering I live on the Canadian west coast, maybe the hippie nerd look isn't totally surprising!

Yeah... Admittedly, I'm also using texture replacers, but the biggest visual difference to my game happened when I installed the weather mod... it was bloody astounding actually, I was floored!
btw, I just started reading your "Teresa of the Faint Smile" story, and I'm really loving it... A cosy way to spend a grey, dreary afternoon along with a pot of coffee.
