"Oh sometime after you fell asleep," Fenris said, smirking.

"...I see...Let me rephrase that. How old am I, or how old do I look to you?"

"You look about Anthanes age, but then again, it doesn't matter in hell." Niran said, trying his best to confuse the half dunmer.

"Late twenties i'd say, perhaps 27 or 28, maybe 29 or 30," Fenris replied, ignoring Niran's attempts to confuse the Mer.

"Or 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39 40, or 41 and so on. You're basically ageless here."

Anthanes ignored Niran as he looked at Fenris in shock.

"27...! By Oblivion, I've been sleeping for nine freaking years! So, uh...What's happened in the meanwhile?"

"Well, you've slaughtered many innocents . . let's see, what else. Ah yes, shot me with an arrow."

Celia stood where she was stunned as the battle raged on. She ran to where she thought Serene was headed to, and found herself trying not to retch. Bodies and the smell of burnt flesh greeted her as she made her way to the others. Hearing the loud voice of the Nord, she followed it to an area of the chamber where many Ashlanders were gathered about...

She glanced at Serene and walked over to Serene and Jonacin, concerned, confused and frightened. "Oh, dear! What happened to these people? Should I heal the live ones?"

From the corner of her eye, she saw the Nord as well as Niran talking to a Dunmer whose face was turned away from her.

While Niran was talking he looked out of the corner of his eye, seeing Celia, and his eye met hers.

He walked over to her, and took her by the sleeve.

"Celia, I was -" he couldn't think of a way to apologise to her for his anger earlier today, he hoped she'd be able to guess what he would have said had he thought of a reasonable apology.

"Quite alot, considering its nine years later. Buuuuut, most of its pretty bad," Fenris said. "Mostly stuff like worshiping Boethiath, starting fights, and nearly being killed."

...Anthanes gasped a bit, seemingly genuinely troubled by what he had done as he looked at the dead ashlanders, realizing it'd been his work.

"Oh, gods, no! Oh, I didn't---I'm so--Ohhh, this isn't helping!"

Megil stepped forwards, despite the massacre he had found Anthanes's condition rather humorous.

"I think he needs some fresh air." Motioning the Half Dunmer to come along with him.

"Oh yes and welcome to hell." he added

"Will you stop playing this damnable 'hell' trick?!" , Anthanes scowled at Megil as he began to follow him. "I'm not dead! Yet!"

"As you wish, Anthanes," Megil said with a chuckle.

He then led the mage through some passages to the surface and outside.

Megil looked out to the horizon to see his cloud column beginning to dissipate in the wind.

"How do you know me, anyway? I'm never seen any of you before. Well, I don't remember, but obviously during the void that I don't remember anything about we've met. I think. This is rather confusing..."

"Yes i'm sure it is slightly disorienting, but trust us it was for the better. Just be glad they didn't leave you to die down there."

Then he stretched his hand out to anthanes to shake his hand,

"Since you don't remember me, the name is Megil"

"I suppose it is good to meet you, Megil. As you already know I am Anthanes Not-Sure-About-The-Lastname, battlemage."

Anthanes shaked his head and sighed.

"Terrible...What -I- did to those ashlanders...They're called Ashlanders right?"

"Hmm yes it was a horrible thing to do, and yes they are ashlanders"

Megil didn't show his surprise when the thought of Anthanes having a consciounce came to him.

"If you want i can look into your mind and help you find some answers"
