she gave them invisibility-potions......in case Anthanes would lurk in the shadows... amd so they went inside.....carefully and silent as shadows they sneaked further inside

Celia was not sure whether or not she should drink the potion now or save it for later, so she kept to the shadows of the Shrine, instead. She noticed the many pillers and passages, which made her think of mazes... What if she took a wrong turn or something?

It was quite dark and humid inside with only a few torches lighting up small sections here and there. Celia kept to the wall, sliding her hand on it as she continued forward.

She came upon an intersection with two hallways extruding on either side of her. She glanced back to see if Serene and Otik were behind her. "Serene?" she whispered.

Megil took the potion, but didn't drink it, instead he headed in behind Celia.

This should be exciting

OOC: earlier, it was al bhed that i was speaking O.o

Niran just followed Celia (like the rest of them right?) seeing as how the others had dissapeared.

"Well, you obviously can't see them now. They're invisible, apparently, don't know what Serene expected me to do." He said coming directly behind her.

Then he noticed the others were hiding in the shadows as well.

"Ah nice, did you make me a potion too?" he asked Serene.

Otik saw Serene, floated up and took the potion, like the rest of them Otik didn't drink the potion but instead stayed in the shadows and followed the leader.

Anthanes, who had entered the inner shrine quite-some-time-ago, smirked as the magics on the door removed his invisibility. His smirk changed into a grin as the Ahemmusa commoners seemed terrified by his appearance.

"Jekhova sethrath v'laash" , Anthanes said, touching the door. Magicka swirled around the door, providing it with a magical lock that could only be breached with magic or by a very skilled lockpicker.

"Don't get in my way and I won't kill you" , Anthanes said.

OOC: So Anthanes can ignore the Vomica Cruor trap on the door then?

Jonacin ran up to the door with Fenris just in time to see Anthanes enter and lock it magically. "Fenris, can you use your skill as a tongue to blast the door down?" he asked "Anthanes could kill all those innocent people at any moment

OOC: I posted walking into that room quite a few pages back, technically it was some time ago. I haven't updated because I was waiting for a response

Fenris nodded, walking to the door, then to the side where the hinges were located. "Here goes nothin'," Fenris muttered, before shouting. The Daedric stone strained under the force before tearing off its hinges and landing a short distance away. Fenris stood, bringing his sheild up defensivly and readying his sword.

Hearing the sound of something heavy falling to the ground, Anthanes turned around, sword at the ready, and spotted Jonacin and Fenris.

"...dammit. Do not move or all of the ashlander scum die!"

Before the door even hit the ground again, Jonacin leapt through the opening. He leapt towards Anthanes, his sword swinging in a deadly arc for his neck. Even as he did this, he willed his arm into existence, and it too was wrethed with white hot flames.

Anthanes ducked out of the way, causing a tear in his cloak's sleeve whereas normally his arm would have been seriously wounded.

"I've warned you. Nethash v'laash negaro eskhat!"

A large bolt of lightning shot from the half-dunmer's hands towards the Ahemmusa villagers, slaying several of them.

"Wrong move, you treacherous worm" Jonacin growled. He launched a deadly attack, raining blows upon Anthanes

OOC: I was aiming for his neck, not his arm, so the thing about the arm wound is a bit messed up

"Get out of here fools!" Fenris shouted to the Ashalanders, before turning to Anthanes. The Nord charged at the half-Dunmer, swinging his blade horizontally in a attempt to bisect the half-mer.

Anthanes jumped back, dodging behind a pillar as he continued to chant in daedric.

"V'laash iribidaem medhuah, acrius medhuah!"

A daedric spirit, taking the form of a tower shield, appeared on Anthanes' arm and began to try and block Jonacin's blows as though it had an intelligence of itself.

"Noone can defeat me!" , Anthanes exclaimed as he returned the strikes at Jonacin. Seeing a nord charging towards him, Anthanes gulped as he got out of the way just in time, causing the Nord to run past him...but leaving his flank exposed for Jonacin.

Jonacin took advantage of the break in Anthanes guard and lashed out with his sword, inflicting a deep wound to Anthanes's torso. "You bleed like the rest of us, fool. Come to me, bleed some more"

Serene heard the agonizing screams from the ashlanders who were slain.......a red blazing rage went into her..


AZURA! she summoned as she literally flew in the air towards the fighters at the door, her hands outstretched in front of her, purple flames emerging from her fingertips, and the eerie glow from her possession was now visible

"Ysbryd ddwylaw, Vomica cruor" she yelled pointing at Anthanes, and watched the white lightning rush through the air and hit Anthanes in the back, the fire started immediately eating him from inside


OOC: this spell is a remote-controlled firebite!

Anthanes gritted his teeth.

"We won't both walk away from this...V'laash ardaem tethrath!" A spell of paralyzation shot from Anthanes' hands towards Jonacin.

I hope this works.

Jonacin swung his spirit arm, and the spell was absorbed into it harmlessly. "nice try, fool, but that's not going to work". Even as he said this, he launched another blistering attack on the wounded battlemage

Anthanes grunted as the shield-spirit moved itself to block the blow.

"Dodge this...V'laash kalosh meduah!"

Two sizable balls of fire shot from the Half-Dunmer's hands towards Jonacin.

Oh, will you perish allready...

Fenris took advcantage of Anthane's distraction to charge him again, swinging his sword quickly and with vicious force.

Jonacin ducked and rolled, and the fireballs flashed harmlessly past him. "Still not good enough, you petty mageling" he said, leaping to the attack once more

OOC: love how you blatantly ignored Jonacin attacking you [/sarcasm]

Megil ran after Serene, towards the open door. He saw the two fireballs heading for the walls, and knowing anthanes he could imagine the damage the could do to the infrstructure. It was damp down here so megil sent two spheres of water to quench the sizzling flames.

Fenris struck Anthanes, hard. The battlemage gritted his teeth and seemed to regain himself just as Jonacin landed another vicious blow. Just then, the spell Serene had cast began to take effect. The combination of all this caused a rather bloody Anthanes to slump down to the ground, choking and spasming.

Jonacin walked up to the bloody, pasming heap that was Anthanes. He put the tip of his sword at his throat, and looked to Serene. "will i finish him, or do you want to?" he asked her

Serene stood two feet above the ground......the possession of Azura wore off slowly, she shook her head, at Jonacin looking at him seeing he was alive and sound, also seeing the bodies of her friends from the tribe lying there bloodied and very dead

"No more killing she said slowly....no more killing.....

Niran stepped forward had he missed everything, then he saw Anthanes at the mercy of Jonacin.

"Strange Anthanes, how in the world did you get yourself in this posistion, if I couldn't? Strange, I thought I acted worse than you."

Otik ran down the corridors, he passed a doorway and stopped there were dead people adn blood everywere, by the looks of it the battle has been won. "err how about we bury the corpses and then go get something to eat, or do you want to deal with wats his face first? Or is that comment to early in general, after what just happened?"

"help...ARGH! YOWWW! me... OUTCH! AERGH! ...make...it...stop...AERGH!" , Anthanes said weakly inbetween cries of pain.

Spare him Jonacin, Serene said, he will have to live with what he has done......let me help my poor friends here...

There was a 10 year old child among the dead ashlanders ........

"Why should we help you, scum?" Jonacin growled. "Do you think you deserve it? You killed women and children, nothing you say can ever justify that, and nothing you do will ever atone for it"

"Indeed, perhaps we should put him out of his misery," Fenris said.

"..ungh...hel...p...." Anthanes stopped begging as he seemed to pass out. The half-dunmer was still breathing, but slowly and weakly, as though trying to clinge to the last spark of life he had lift.

please..no more killing, Serene was silently weeping seeing the huge bloodshed.....

Jonacin saw that Serene was in a terrible state, seeing all the bodies of the Ahemmusa women and children. He went over to her and put his arm around her shoulders, and led hger from the room. He called back to the others "Don't kill him, but don't aid him either. Leave his fate to the gods"

Serene just followed Jonacin.....a small group of ashlander women followed them from behind.....they had thought this shrine was their safe place, now that was maybe not the fact anymore, so what would they do? as before the Ahemmusa leaned on Serene for their survival

Niran ignored Jonacin,

if Anthanes was going to die he was going to die quickly, this was torture.

He went over, and tried to help.

"Up to the gods? Hrmph," Fenris grunted, before tossing a healing potion towards Anthanes. "Use it wisely elf, i won't spare ya again, and i'm not so twisted as to let even one such as you die in such a ignoble and painful manner."

Anthanes' breathing seemed to grow a bit more frequent as Niran began treating the half-dunmer, but the battlemage was still unconscious and heavily wounded.
He would have downed the potion immediately had he not been unconscious.

Niran took the potion and forced Anthanes to drink it (OOC:mwahahaha! choke and die!). Then he stood up and looked around.

"You know, seeing mercy from you..." Fenris trailed off. "Some of Stendarr's mercy mustsa rubbed off on you when he possesed you boy," Fenris quickly added with grin.

After Niran forcefed him the potion, Anthanes got up slowly. He broke out into a flurry of words.

"No, master Carellius, I didn't mean to..I'll see to it that---" , the half-dunmer blinked.

"Where am I? Who are you? What in Oblivion happened here? Where is my flin?" , Anthanes began letting out a series of questions.

"So that was what happened." Niran said to Aki, finally someone told him.

He noticed Anthanes

"Well well well, look who's back."

"Ald-Daedroth, Fenris, you sound like you've got amnesia, and the flin's probablly in a bar in Balmora," Fenris replied, his reply ordered to answer each question in order.

"Amnesia? NAHHHH. Granted, it's strange, dozing off during your studies then finding yourself in Ald-Whatever, covered in blood..."

The half-dunmer narrowed his eyes.

"Say...What YEAR is it, anyway?"

Niran laughed

"Actually your in hell, welcome. Time stands still here." He said.

"Erm...Hell?! How? Did I die?! What in the... Hmm, wait. No, this doesn't quite seem like it, nonono, hell is a bit warmer...I think..."
