Sel woke up, and realized that his head had been on Serene's lap.

"What just happened?" he asked, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

Serene smiled, you just cleansed your mind from dark thoughts she replied..and you have had a really good and refreshing sleep! I would say you ought to feel a lot better..

I told you I didn't want you messing with my mind... Sel thought, but he couldn't deny the fact that he did actually feel better.

"Thanks." he said, standing up. "Oh, and one more thing." he said, drawing his sword. "You're a mage - maybe you can return this to normal?" he asked.

That sword was the only thing he had of his father's...

Yes...she replied, what´s wrong with it? what do you want me to do?

"You can't tell me you don't notice a difference unless you honestly haven't seen me fight." he said, surprised. "It used to glow green, not red. The metal used to be silver, not black. Arcyakt changed it when he made me Death. Damn, he took my dagger too." Sel said, just remembering that he had fought without it for a day or two...

[ooc: By the way, a skilled mage might have felt the invocation, though it wouldn't be sure what exactly had happened. Hint hint.]

Oh..well I might have noticed..I´m sorry but it won´t be a problem then because I know what happened to it....

She took the sword......stroke it´s blade humming a chant......stroking styroking..and the light slowly changed from red to more greenish.....and even more until it shone with an eerie green light that seemed to emerge from the very steel....

Sel took his sword back from Serene when he finished and inspected it.

"That's exactly right." he said, amazed. "Thanks again." he said before going back to the other fire to get the last piece of nix-hound.

OOC: finished chapter 2 of minque's story!!! I'm catching up.

The Werewolves slowly ate away at the door, just as to maybe toy with their prey. Falx readied his weapon and waited for the inevitable encounter...

(OOC: Wow, I'm never leaving my computer for half a day again!)

Niran, who was extremely bored had tried to fall asleep, a failed attempt.

Fenris got bored with the primitive Ashalanders and the boring landscape and got up to go for a walk. Fenris didn't realize how long he had been walking for when he saw a camp of Redoran soldiers. Having already gone this far, the Nord continued into the camp, addressing the leader of the Redoran warriors. He learened they planned to assault a Telvanni tower here. Fenris saw it looming in the distance. Looming over the hellish lands like a great shadow. Fenris felt something malignent here. The kind of bad feeling he had in Daedric Shrines.

"Something is wrong here..."

"And just what'd that be, Nord?" , the Redoran leader asked, not completely unfriendly.

"I'm not sure, but it aint friendly," Fenris replied. "Its the kind of feeling one gets in Daedric Shrine, you know? You've been in one right? The feeling of something malignant and alien watching you, the feeling of malice in the air..." he trailed off. "Who exactly, composes the Telvanni forces? Conjurers? Sorcerors? Necromancers? Normal footsoldiers?"

Sel stood up. "Maybe we should go somewhere?" he asked, tired of sitting around without any conversation.

"Well, as far as I know they've only got one caster with decent skill up there, ironically. That's the lord of the tower, too. Magelord Querin Gylaine. As for the rest, it's mainly acolytes and footmen we've encountered, though they've a few Bosmeri mercenary archers up there too. We ain't dealt with any daedra yet, though, but I think that Gylaine knows how to summon one or two. Still...Any ranking Telvanni knows how to do that, and I've been fighting them for some time, but never had such a thing before. Coming to think of it, there were a few flashes of magick some time ago, but we thought that was just Gylaine fussing."

"I agree, can't stand sitting around here."

"We could follow Fenris." Sel suggested. "Maybe he's found something interesting."

"Huh....interesting," Fenris replied, contemplating this. "A whole tower, and only one caster." He gazed at the tower darkly. "We'll just have to wait then. But be prepared. This feeling....it is the calm before the storm."

"Allright then, I'm going now." Niran said heading out of the camp.

"Hmm...Indeed, something seems to be out of the ordinary. I'll have the me---"

The Captain was cut short as a few dozen Wood Elven archers appeared behind the organic Telvanni wall, sending a volley of arrows down onto the camp. A few men screamed and fell down, and as the volley ended the archers had already retreated.

"Cowardly hirelings do that all the time" , the Captain grunted as he jerked an arrow out of his pauldron.

"Seems like i should get a sheild then, eh?" Fenris replied with a Nordic grin.

The captain grinned. "Make that a tower shield. Coming to think of it, how'd you like participating in our assault tomorrow? We could use someone like you on the front lines, and the pay is good."

"Sounds good to me, i got nothing better to do," Fenris replied. "Besides, this land hasn't seen the might of a Tongue since the First Era, might as well make this tower a testament to the wind's might."

It took Niran awhile, but he eventually came upon a camp.

He walked into it and spotted Fenris.

"What's going on?"

"A Tongue?!" The Redoran rubbed his hands together. "My friend, if word of you reaches the Council in Ald'ruhn, the councillors will be competing to be the first to offer you a position in our House."

Anthanes smirked as he invisibly looked over the Redoran camp from the organic wall. Tomorrow, fools, you shall all be dead and your souls shall be Boethiah's for the taking.

Spotting Niran, the captain asked: "Friend of yours?"

Niran grabbed hold of the captains hand and shook it before anyone could say or do anything.

"Niran, and you might be?"

The captain raised a brow, but politely introduced himself. "Gorvsen Balvel, Oathman of Great House Redoran, at your service."

"At my service," Niran laughed, "I doubt it."

"Anyway, what exactly is going on here."

"We're laying siege to that place." The captain pointed towards the Telvanni town. "This is House Redoran territory and we're here to make sure no Telvanni dog steals it. That's Tel Keh'rin up there. The only skilled mage up there is the magelord, Querin Gylaine...How ironic. We'd have captured it already if it wasn't in a tactical position."

Niran nearly laughed, idiotic quarrels between the two houses. Although this might be a good way to gain experience.

"Is there any way I might partake in this siege?"

"Well, my Imperial friend, we could always use a good man like you at the front line when we assault the place on the morrow."

"Fine with me," Niran said "However, I'm not going head on into battle without armor. Does anyone have an Imperial Studded Leather Curaiss I could borrow?"

"Hmm...I'll ask my quartermaster..." The Captain called out to a nearby Dunmer. "EY! Malmur!"

The Dunmer called Malmur walked over to captain Gorvsen. "You have need of me, Captain?"

"Yes...Would we happen to have a spare studded leather cuirass for our friend here?" the Captain gestured to Niran.

"Hrm...Perhaps...I'll have to check. Would you come with me?" , the Dunmer said to Niran as he began leading the way to a large tent with a sign proclaiming "STORAGE" infront of it.

Sel had waited a couple minutes before following Niran.

when he saw what he guessed was a house war, he became curious.

As he was walking around the camp, he spotted Niran. "Niran, what's going on?"

"We're sieging that Telvanni town up there to claim what's rightfully ours" , Quartermaster Malmur answered for Niran.

Fenris merely grinned at the captain. "Yeah he's a friend," he said. "Niran, i think you might want some more armor, a cuirass won't save you from a rain of arrows." Seeing Sel Fenris waved. "Hail."

Sel had grown up in a Redoran town, had even been offered a position in the House years ago, so he was inclined to be on their side.

"Sounds fun." he muttered with a nod to Fenris.

The quartermaster grunted in reply to Sel's comment about it sounding like fun. "If you'd happen to be here to join in the battle, you should go and see captain Gorvsen."

"Not interested." Sel said. At least not in serving as infantry. he thought.

He had something else in mind.

"Suit yourself, lad. Can't blame you..."

Celia sighed as she stood up, brushing her skirts. She had healed most of his more major injuries, so he should be fine, though a bit numb if and when he would wake up.

She noticed Niran's disappearance, and felt alarmed by it. She was not worried about the Nord; he always seemed to pop in and out of nowhere. But where was Sel?

Oh, not again! She thought in despair. She hoped he was not captured again by that pyscho mage... or by that battlemage, either.

She walked towards Serene and Jonacin. "Excuse me, Jona, but have you seen where Sel and Niran went off to?"

"Well, I'm not use to heavy armor." Niran said.

Sel pretended that he was walking away, but once he was out of sight, he doubled back and sneaked through the Redoran lines.

He looked in his pack and smelled the potions that Arcyakt had left. One was invisibility, two reflect, and one restore health. Content with that, Sel quaffed the invisibility potion and began climbing the mushroom tower, unseen by everyone.

"Bonemold or chitin would be fitting, they're not heavy, and they can block arrows well enough," Fenris responded.

"No thanks, I'll just go with the first choice of mine, whether or not it'll protect me from arrows."

That's a portrait of him in the RP right after he gets the cuirass. The ebony boots are a gift from his adopted father who was a merchant.

Sel pulled himself up through the doorway that was obviously meant for someone with a levitation.

He stood up and shut the door silently so that nobody could see or hear him.

He wanted to see why the Telvanni had invoked the wrath of the Redoran.

"They went after Fenris.." Arco replied showing himself from the shadow's of the hut. He thought of following them, doubt they couldn't keep out of trouble...

Sel heared voices coming from behind a door. He recognized one of them as belonging to Anthanes.

"You need not worry, Querin... I can guarantee they will all be dead by tomorrow."

"And how exactly, Anthanes?"

The battlemage smiled. "That's a surprise. Do not worry, Querin. They'll think twice about ever attacking your tower again."

Jonacin walked over to Serene. "I think we should follow the others" he said to her
