Serene looked up at Jonacin, smiling

"Naturally, I´ll go where you go, but you are right in this, we really should follow"

She controlled her backpack once more and followed Jonacin....

Jonacin began walking in the direction the others had gone, with Serene close behind him. Beofre long they came upon a large encampment, it appeared there was a siege of a Telvanni tower going on. The besiegers appeared to be Redoran

"Jonacin, look" Serene said, "This camp looks Redoran, I recognise it ..you know I´m Redoran don´t you? Or did I not tell you?

Serene was happy to see ppl from her own house again, hopefully they wouldn´t be too hostile then, after all she had a certain rank in the house.....

I wonder if my "father" would be there by any chance? she thought as she approached together with Jonacin

She took his hand, feeling a bit nervous after all it was a long time since she left Ald´ruhn and her home......

Arco sighed... "Everyone is leaving..." he said to himself before grabbin his sack and scimitars. He looked around on the others left in the hut before going out of the hut. Arco started running south against the mountains, he was looking for Arcyakt. He thought this was something he needed to on his own..

Jonacin was slightly apprehensive as they approached the camp. The years he had spent with the Urshilaku had led to some conflict with them over land rights and other things, and he had been involved quite heavily.

Maybe they wont remember me he thought.

"Well, let's get down there" he said aloud

"What is it Jonacin?" Serene noticed Jonacin was not completely happy with them entering the redoran-camp, "why maybe we´ll meet some of my family, anyhow, I´m rather high rank redoran so....."

"Well, many years ago, when i was living with the Urshilaku for a few years, we had several skirmishes with REdoran patrols. They were trying to steal the land, and naturally we weren't too happy about that. I'm afraid more than one Redoran soldier died on my blade" he whipsered to her, so as not to be heard by any nearby Redoran troops

" I see... Serene stopped cfor a while trying to identify the redoran officers who she just saw coming out from one of the biggest tents or whatever one could call them.

" I know that tall dark man over there" she said, he....he is a...a friend, a very close friend to me. Serene took a deep breath to prevent herself from crying, seing that man again woke a lot of memories...

"What's wrong Serene? Jonacin asked, seeing she was close to tears

"Oh..she answered, nothing is wrong really, but that man over there, he.....he used to be very close to me.....I just wonder how it will feel to meet him again...

"well, i don't think he's noticed you yet, so you have a little time before you have to find out"

Sel wouldn't have cared if some of his friends hadn't gone to the Redoran side...but they had, and he had o do something now that he was here.

He would do something about this Querin. he waited by the door, hoping he would walk out.

the door opened, only to find sasal walking through the door,dressed in his dark armor
"hi every one, i was just umm... at the river umm, looking at the water!" said sasal with hesitation, as he loudly stomped into the hut(or room) as if others were with him, yet no one was in site

"I trust you, Anthanes. I trust you..." , Querin said.

Just then, the Telvanni captain entered the room Sel was in. He opened the door to the chambers, revealing Anthanes and a well-dressed breton in his middle twenties. The Captain bowed before the Breton.

Sel slipped into the room through the door the captian had opened, and stood in a corner, listening in.

"We've spotted several new arrivals in their camp" , the Captain said. "Seems like mercenaries to me."

"So?" Querin replied.

"I sense that the one named Jonacin is in that camp..Possibly some others of the group are there too. They're rather strong..." , Anthanes interjected.

"And how'd you know that, Anthanes?" Querin asked.

"A few seconds before I appeared here I cast a spell on him that allows me to track his location with my mind..."

"I wish some of my Telvanni knew that spell" , Querin sighed.

"And Magelord, it looks like they are preparing for an assault." , the Captain said to Querin.

"So? Let them come. We are prepared, Captain. In the meanwhile, continue firing at them."

"Yes, Magelord."

Sel felt the potion's effects wasting away. He wouldn't have intervened if he hadn't heard two phrases. 'jonacin is in that camp' and 'they will all be dead'. His friends were down there, walking into some sort of trap. He had better do something before the potion wore off...


OOC: can he kill Querin? or the captain?

ooc: He can try, but it's three on one and they're all rather skilled. If you're going to take anyone down take the Captain.

The Captain was the closest to him, and he didn't have much time. He downed one of his reflect potions before acting.

Sel swallowed and jumped forward, slitting the Captain's throat, cancellling his invisibility as well.

"Hello, Anthanes." Sel said with a snirk as the captain's body fell limply to the ground.

Querin jumped up, but Anthanes merely sneered. "Greetings Sel. I was wondering when one of you was going to show up."

"Unfortunately, this means we're going to have to remove you" , Querin said. "Good personnel is so hard to find these days..."

"It's really no problem." Sel said with a shrug. "I can let myself out - later."

He readied his sword, knowing his sarcasm wouldn't be appreciated.

"You're not going anywhere." , Querin said. "Iphum metrath v'laash!"

A paralyzing spell shot from the Breton's hands towards Sel...And back to Querin.
His eyes widened in shock as he was paralyzed, but Anthanes shook his head.

"Querin, Querin. Could you not see that he had some sort of reflection on?"

"Sarmathzkam iphum!" , the Battlemage chanted, and Querin returned to his movements. "Querin, THIS is why a Battlemage has the 'battle' part in his name. I hope you remember our combat lessons..."

"Solenum v'laash acrius!" , both mages chanted, and daedric sword-spirits appeared in the hands of both mages.

"Citriae metrath!" , Querin chanted, and a protective magical shield appeared around him. The two mages lunged towards Sel...

Sel jumped to the side, and then towards Querin, trying to cut his neck.

OOC: sorry it took so long to post - I had to get angry at someone on the official forums that said he didn't care that thousands of people die in terrorist attacks...

The sword bounced off the protective magical shield around Querin.
Querin gave a low sweeping cut to the legs whilst Anthanes slashed at Sel's sword arm.

Sel avoided the cut to the legs, but his arm was bleeding from his recently acquired wound. Anthanes was clearly the better fighter here - Querin would be dead if it wasn't for his magic.

He stepped back a few steps, causing a short break in the fighting.

Serene stopped suddenly, looking scared.

"I feel evil in the air she said to Jonacin, evil of a magnitude you would´t imagine was possible"

She concentrated all energy she could spare to the telepathic center in her mind, scanning the environment for contacts..

In the direction of the Telvanni-tower the signals of evilness was the greatest, but also...there was a faint signal from a well-known mind, a mind she had visited before...

"Sel", she whispered , he´s there...in that tower..ahhhhh so much evil soo much!!"

She pressed her hands to her head, all shaking....

"Anthanes, he´s also here somewhere, I can sense his evil....."

Here's hoping this works.

"ACRAEUS SHARMATZKAM V'LAASH SOLENUM!" , Anthanes chanted. Realizing what the half-dunmer was doing, the Breton began chanting the same spell, which was the most powerful dispelling spell they had been taught.

"Is there any way we can get in there?" Jonacin asked her

"Get where?" Niran asked, he had managed to obtain the armor he wanted, and had just wandered over.

Sel wondered what they were doing, until he thought it through.

the only spell that would make any sense would be dispel. He stood casually, letting them continue. He had more potions.

The cooperation between Querin and Anthanes was amazing - they were obviously more than acquaintances.

As Sel's reflection faded away, the two mages grinned, and nodded to eachother.

"Iphum metrath v'laash!" , the Breton chanted, once again firing the paralyzing spell at Sel.

"Iribidaem naphoram sezhamm!" , Anthanes chanted in the meanwhile. If all would work out, Sel would be paralyzed AND levitating under Anthanes' control.

Sel found that he oculdn't move. He cursed himself silently for being so cocky, before beginnning to excercise his willpower - maybe he could resist the spell...

He closed his eyes, and imagined that the spell was a foe. He fought it in his mind, blocking and attacking when needed...

We need to levitate to get into a telvanni-construction..then we would need some invisibility os very strong sneak-spells..

She looked in her backback and came out with a worn shirt, a pair of trousers and some very worn shoes

"Therse items have I enchanted with a levitate-enchantment, constant effect" Maybe we can use them...they are not fast unfortunately, but they do fly!!
She handed tyhe shirt to Jonaci, the trousers to Niran and kept the shoes..

Shall we try??

"Don't try to resist it" , Anthanes said as he moved his hand about, moving the levitating Sel to the organic balcony. "You'll fall to your death." As he did this, he made Sel hover over the town, quite a distance below him. As it slowly became dawn, the Redorans pointed at the floating man in the distance.

ooc: Everyone who is outside of the tower should stay there

"Uh, sure" Niran said, he still had no idea where they were going with these, so he'd just follow.

Niran looked forwards and up when other Redorans around him did

"That's Sel!"

"Let's go" said Jonacin, activating the spell on the shirt. He noticed Sel, hanging in the air. "We need to move now, if we intend to save Sel"

Meanwhile, the Redorans formed a battle column and the Telvanni appeared to be getting ready for battle also.

Sel smiled as he felt the paralyzation receding - he didn't hear Anthanes or see where he was, having been in deep concentration.

He opened his eyes, and found himself looking over the redoran lines.

"What the hell? " Sel muttered. "That would be a fun ride." he said sarcastically.

"Ah, but there is this." he said, twirling his sword. "Don't think I couldn't plant it right between your eyes while falling."

"Indeed, you couldn't. Have fun on the ground" , Anthanes said as he swiftly moved Sel to the Redoran camp, dropping him somewhat brusquely at the feet of Serene, Niran and Jonacin.

(OOC: Niran has to battle!)

Niran didn't use the enchanted items, instead he said

"The fight is going to start, I'm going over and joining in. Good luck with rescuing Sel." Niran laughed, how did Sel ever get like that.

He turned at sound of a dropping body, seeing that Sel was alive. He ran over and joined in the front row of Redorans.

As Arco walked across the Ashlands he saw something in the distance. A tower, Telvanni tower. He could feel the evil, it was like someone said his friends were in danger. Arco scanned across seeing signs of magic, he unsheathed his sword with a iron grasp and started charging ahead against the tower. Staying low and almost invisible...

ooc: I manuevered him to a meter or so above the ground near them

Querin chanted a spell, and the next moment, Anthanes and Querin appeared on the wall. Querin stood on the wall, while Anthanes strode calmly through the gate, halting the Redorans.

Take it on Niran and activate it! You´ll be able to fly!

She stepped in her shoes, activated them and went up in the air

"Oh there`s Sel, she said, gathering her frieds around her, Niran seemed a bit worried maybe he hadn´t flied before..

She also gave them a potion each.."Invisibility" she said....might come in handy when we are getting closer to Sel!



OOC: Have to run for the bus now......Wolfie, you make some action here and bring Serene with you, erhm she´s got all the spells and potions you can think of in her backpack!!

Sel was lying on his back, just by Seren's feet. he raised his hand as she went up, hoping she would notice.

"No need - I'm here." he said. "And yes, those work quite well - when they aren't expecting it."

"I used invisibility to get inside in the first place." he explained. "Anthanes has something weird going on...he says we will all be dead. Do you think a daedra has something to do with this?"

Anthanes was at the gate, trying to stop the Redorans (OOC: They really aren't just going to stop you know BoV). Jonacin deactivated the levitation spell. "ANTHANES!" he roared "We still have some business to take care of!". As he shouted, his Shehai flashe dinto being in his hand

Anthanes smirked, and began chanting in Daedric.

"Solenum sharmatzkham, v'laash Boethiah acreius, tethrath itraemanus, icris Boethiah!"

Pitch-black magicka began swirling around Anthanes...

when Sel saw Anthanes standing with a black aura around him, Sel grabbed the nearest soldier and stole his bow and arrows.

"I'm just borrowing these." he explained.

He notched an arrrow, pulled back, and let fly at Anthanes - the arrow was aimed straight for the battlemage's shoulder.

He notched another in case the first didn't hit.

"Don't ignore me Anthanes, you coward" Jonacin yelled. He grabbed a spear from a nearby soldier and hurled it at the mage, aiming for his chest

OOC: Dantrag, your post wasn't there when i did my last one, so i'll just edit that bit out

The arrow and the spear bounced off the magicka as Anthanes continued chanting. "Tethrath v'laash, icraenem scarelium, sharmatzhkam Boethiah acreus!"

All of a sudden, there was a large booming sound and dozens of Daedra began pouring out of the magicka. From scamps to Dremora, the hordes of Daedra began attacking the Redorans who made desperate attempts to defend themselves.
