Osano stopped and turned to his pursuers, "I'm not running."

Anthanes grinned. He raised his sword above his head and charged Osano while yelling something in the Daedric tongue.

"Well, apparently he's not running. So-" Niran said motioning forward "Go ahead and kill him, he's had his chance."

Osano closed his eyes for a moment and concentrated. He thought back to when he was training at the fighters guild. He calmed himself and coolly (sp) swung his sword at the charging Anthanes, almost certain it would connect.

Anthanes raised his blade and was barely able to block the blow, although the tip of his sword did get chipped off. Shrugging, he raised his sword overhead and gave a few quick swings to Osano's head.

OOC Actually, nevermind. I'm off to play morrowind.

Osano was not stupid and could see that this was going nowhere. He blocked Anthanes futile attacks and took a few steps away from the battle. He looked up and yelled, "Arcyakt!" hoping the mage knew what he meant. In a flash of light Osano vanished.

"Oh well." Sel muttered as he began walking back to the cave.

He sat down by himself, and suddenly realized that he couldn't remember any of his past.

He did remember Serene saying something to him about 'relieving his guilt' when they were on the mountain. What could he have done to feel guilty? Was this how she got rid of it?

He reconnected with Serene's mind, having done it a few times before.

What the hell did you do to me? he asked rather rudely.

Celia was relieved that Osano was gone. It would've probably ended badly, and she did not want to attend to another burial.

Well, now that that was over, she was grateful for some things. One of them is that nobody had lost any limbs or died on her, and the other good thing...

She tiptoed behind towards Sel, and poked him. "Hello! Is silly Dunmer home?" She grinned and embraced him tightly.

He returned the hug and looked at her questioningly.

"I'm back but...confused." he replied. "I can't remember anything before the first time I met Serene." he stopped for a second. "I didn't hurt you when I was 'Death' did I? I don't remember any of that either...all I remember is the torture." he said as a shiver went down his spine.

he still kept his mental connection with Serene open - he wanted answers.

Celia shook her head. "I wasn't hurt... Fenris was, though. But I healed him." She poked him and then patted him on the shoulder. "Well, you're back now, and together, we can, er, kick the mage's er, how would the Nords say, boat!"

She glanced wistfully at the door. "Too bad the storm's still not going away..."

"Well, Sel. You sure did one hell of a good job making me go insane," Niran said grinning "Oh, no need to apologize, all is forgiven." He laughed and leaned against the wall,

"Damn sandstorm. . ."

Sel laughed at Celia's wise placement of the word 'boat', but it was short-lived. The thought of his lost memory put a damper on his humor.

"Yeah." he said. "The ashlands can be rough."

Serene, answer me, please. he asked her pleadingly through their connection.

"Niran, can you to tell me what happened while I was Death? Spare no details, please - I need to know."

OOC:lol mergirl...we cant get on at the same time, can we?

Niran was going to spare a few details ,particularly the ones about what he said to Celia.

"Well basically, you just came to retrieve us for Arkyact, damn funny name he has, and well we fought. You tripped me over, and put your sword at my throat. Hence I basically went insane, rambled a lot. Then Osano came wanted to help you or something, that's when you came back." Niran paused "Or did you mean while you weren't here at the cave?"

(OOC: Super summarized!! )

Sel laughed. "Too bad I missed your rambling."

he looked at Niran, not bringing up the fact that he definately missed some details...

"So...basically, I have a lot to do to get any trust back..."

"Not really, well maybe with some of the others." Niran grinned again "For me Death was basically just a radical version of you. Of course, without the silly dunmerness." he said winking at Celia.

"Since when are you so cheery?" Sel asked with a laugh. "I didn't know you could say things like 'silly dunmerness'."

"A lot must have happened....how long was I gone? The torture seemed to last for days...."

Niran shook his head,

"It didn't last long at all, judging by my time, maybe a little less than a day. Maybe not even that much." Niran shrugged "I really have no idea, being lost in a sandstorm and all."

"Oh." was all Sel had to say.

"Soooo...." Sel said, trying to break the awkward silence.

"So . . .uh, what?" Niran asked puzzled "I don't know about the rest of you, but I haven't slept in a good while."

Aviel had awoken and hidden behind Calira, she came out when the fight was over and walked to Celia looking up at her.

"I had a nice nap, until those scary people came" she said rubbing her eyes and yawning.

"Who's this?" Sel asked, hoping that he hadn't scared them when he was Death...

The little girl turned her head up and looked sideways at Sel,

"Eek!" She gave a yelp as if she hadn't seen him there, she ran around and hid behind Celia.

"Oh well." he said. there was really no point in calming her...nothing he said would change anything.

"Anyone have something to drink?" he asked.

"Well," Niran began, with a hint of sarcasm in his voice, "Fenris did Celia and I a favor and brought only alcoholic drinks."

"You're complaining?" Sel asked incredulously. "Hand me something!"

Niran picked up a bottle of flin and handed it to Sel

"Enjoy, by the way. Who's going to move the body of this Guar?" he asked as he picked up his sword and sheathed it. Walking to Anthanes he handed him the borrowed sword.

Then he went back and leaned against the wall.

"whoever killed it, I guess." Sel said, taking a large gulp of flin, oblivious to the fact that he killed it.

"Okay have fun," Niran laughed and drank from his water flask "You killed it."

"Fine." he said, putting down his beloved bottle. "I'm hungry anyway."

He took the body and had it skinned and ready for cooking in no time. He started a fire, and roasted the guar over it.

"I think it's ready." he said, cutting a slice of meat off and putting it into his mouth.

"Enjoy." he said, gesturing for everyone to get some.

Anthanes grunted. "I prefer cliffracer...coming to think of it, we had some supplies around here..." Anthanes digged around the supplies for a moment until finding several large pieces of scuttle. Putting some scuttle in his mouth, he said: "Twis gwood two swee ywou bwack!"

Arco sat a little back, he didn't really know what he was doing in this damn cave. A sandstorm has never stopped him. Arco looked around at the others at they started to eat. He looked to the side and grabbed his little sack before heading against the cavern door...

Konrad awoke from the back of the cave, unaffected by what had gone on. He found the others.

"Hello, has anything gone on then? Looks to have been a fight."

"Uh, right" Niran rolled his eyes at Konrad's question, then went on to ignore him.

However, Niran wasn't hungry. Especially for guar, how in the name of Oblivion could they eat it.

He was thinking of what the slaver said . . .

"Fine, then." Sel said, cutting off another piece of guar.

"It's really not bad, once you get over the toughness."

"And the fact some of us were just talking to it a little while ago." Niran laughed, "Of course, not me."

Konrad sat beside Sel. "I'm up for some, pass two slices please."

"Who talks to guars?" Sel asked through a mouthful of food.

He looked to Celia. "Or did it become a pet...?"

he sliced off a large piece for Konrad. "Enjoy. It's big enough to count as two."

"No, but she talked to it some." Niran said "Which I would find strange, I couldn't just sit down and eat something right after I had a litlte discussion with it."

"It's still a guar, and it was dead anyway, so you might as well put it to use."

"Oh, I didn't have anything against you eating it," Niran grinned "Let's hope it didn't have any disease."

Konrad loked at Niran, then quickly put his hand over the meat and whispered a few words. "It won't," he told the man as he ripped off a bit with his teeth.

Niran looked at Konrad:

"And how exactly do you know that?"

"Because we don't worry about every little thing, and it's been cooked." Sel answered. "I wouldn't care if it was diseased - it's quite tasty."

"I wouldn't care either," Niran laughed "Mainly because I'm not eating it."

"No, you do care that it has disease, and that's why you aren't eating it." Sel said with a smile.

"I stwill twink twat scwuttle is bwetter two eawt." , Anthanes said, barely understandable because of the scuttle he was eating.

"Whatever." Sel said, tearing of another bite of guar with his teeth.

When he swallowed, he asked. "So, when are we leaving? the cave gets boring fast."

"Er, I think I'll pass on the guar-meat, thank you." Celia's eye wandered to the door where Arco was heading. "Hey, where is he heading?"

Thinking of joining him (more to get out of the cave than anything else), Celia packed up some supplies and wrapped a piece of cloth to cover her mouth and nose. "Well, I'll just go with him, then," she announced absent-mindedly.

She went towards the door and turned to Arco, smiling under the cloth. "So, where do you think you are going, silly Dunmer?"
