I don't have a costume this year, so I guess I will just wear that Daggerfall t-shirt I have. The Underking on it is spooky enough I guess. The only other thing I have is my Bane mask, but I did that for 3 or 4 Halloweens already. So were I to have a costume I'd want to do something new.

yeah, the clothing might be difficult. Otherwise, clever use of common grease paints can get you the undead effects.

The time of daylight is getting shorter as that of darkness grows longer. The Earth tilts away from the sun, making those fewer hours of daylight a bit dimmer than they were a month or two ago. The air gains a noticeable chill, and the trees explode in a vibrant display of colors. October has arrived.
With a banshee shriek and a witch's cackle, something stirs. Pulling itself up as if a reanimated corpse from its grave. Finally free from its restless slumber, it is free to haunt Chorrol once again.

Anyone here have any tips for alternative Jack o'lantern lights? Khajiit usually uses a votive candle but likes the idea of being able to have a sealed lantern that can still light up with out having to worry about no air getting to the flame and snuffing it.

A ghastley mentions, the child dies. Turn on captions and you'll see an English translation of words. I'll seen better translations, more poetic. This the one provided gives you one basics.

Khajiit has been toying with the idea of trying to play BioShock again on PC. Game is suitably creepy but the very first cutscene in Rapture with the two splicers commenting on your semi-conscious body glitched and this really irritated this one since it was supposed to be the "Remastered" version.
Ooh! May even play the masquerade mission in

Khajiit should! It's an awesome game, don't let that glitch stop you!
If I had let glitches stop me, I wouldn't have over 2500 hours of Oblivion gameplay now. Well, it wasn't a glitch I experienced when I started to play, but PC limitations...

The spoopyness spookiness is afoot once more.
Speaking of spookiness, who else is following the progress of the Resident Evil 2 Remake? I sure am intrigued by it. The Resident Evil franchise and I have a bit of a history, going back to when I witnessed the original one at 5 or 6 years old and being absolutely terrified. It's hilarious to look back on now, but it seemed so real then. Cool to see a 20-year old game be made brand-new. The series has come quite a long way. Funny enough, though, I have played very little of the series. RE4 and REmake are the only 2 games in the series that I have beaten, with RE4 taking up the vast majority of my playtime in the series, and I have played very little of the other titles.

Khajiit never got into those games. Back then he wasn’t interested in horror games, but now that he’s older he probably would have checked them out. When Reaps did his LP of Resident Evil Remastered, it definitely looked like something this one would be interested in now.

You know what someone needs to do? Someone needs to rip the file of the skeleton scream from Daggerfall so that they could play it on a speaker. And then play it either when 1) Trick-or-Treaters come to their door, or 2) when they go up someone's door for candy. (Preferably b since I wouldn't want to legitimately scare little kids, but it would still be kind of funny.)

When Khajiit was a kid, we had a little sensor mat that connected to a speaker. When someone stepped on the mat, a scream sound effect would play from the speaker. We would hide it under our normal welcome mat so that when trick or treaters came around they would get a little start! When we first got it, one night mom was reading a scary book before bed. When she got to a stopping place, she went out to snuff the jack-o-lantern and forgot about the mat being there.

This year’s sacrificial victimGoing to post some Jack-o_lanterns from Halloween’s past, since we are on the topic.
2013: Wailing ghost2014: Medusa- really regret that this one was unfinished. Khajiit got really tired and left the snakes in a really rough state. This one thought the face itself turned out really good.
2015: Screaming Skull2016: Masque of the Red Death- this one was inspired by E.A.Poe’s story
The Masque of the Red Death. The skull is wearing a masquerade mask.
2017: Count Orlok (Nosferatu)- inspired by the vampire, Count Orlok, from the classic silent horror film
Nosferatu.
