Lycus Desselius has his own themes going when involved in the Wild Hunt in the Hunting Grounds.

Song 1. ( For "The Chase").

Song 2.

Song 3. The Rescue- Brian Tyler.

Strong songs, especially the Man of Steel one. Love the drums. They all dovetail nicely into one another.

QUOTE(PhonAntiPhon @ Sep 22 2013, 05:27 AM) *

This should probably play over the closing credits.

The Fray

Oh my, what a lovely ending song.

QUOTE(Grits @ Sep 22 2013, 08:26 AM) *

Here’s one for Darnand: How Soon Is Now.

Speaking of Darnand, I was just thinking the same thing about another song = Bad Company - If You Needed Somebody
Rohirrim
Khan's theme- The Killers-Mr. Brightside

Sonita's- The Wombats-Party in a Forest (Where's Laura?)
Darkness Eternal
So I just finished writing a chapter on Lycus' story.

Decided to put a good song to it. Its a "Lycus returns to Cyrodiil."

The song is called The Kingsroad by Ramin Djawadi.

Thanks! I decided that drums and a savage-esque tunes would go hand in hand with the story smile.gif

This is Lothran´s theme song! laugh.gif
Colonel Mustard
Woodkid's Run Boy Run has become the theme of the main character of my original fiction novel/NaNo entry. Very fitting for their character.

Great song here! I love it. Woodkid makes excellent music.

I have been listening to my Bob Seger and the Silver Arrow Band compilation disc in my car lately, and two songs have leaped out at me.

Jerric thinking of Abiene - Bob Seger - Even Now

Darnand and his one night of passion with Lildreth - Bob Seger - Night Moves

Edit: I heard another Aela song too - Bon Jovi - I Believe
SubRosa
Another Aela song came to me as I was listening to an old Styx album - I'm Ok

Wonderful selections, all! mirocu, that T2 theme actually sounds like something that could fit right in to Oblivion's sound track!

As many of you know, Buffy simply adores her mighty pal Sir Mazoga. You could even say that Mazoga is Buffy's Hero.

(If pressed for time, the magic happens from seconds 50-59 in the vid)

Maybe, or at least in a LotR game! tongue.gif

I´d say that´s Buffy´s song. I very much think she is her own hero happy.gif

If Buffy's ethereal old paladin could sing (which he can't), this is the song he would sing to his inseperable elf - Time in a Bottle. And I quite like the vid footage in this version.
SubRosa
This is a good song for Aela - Christoph Sachal - Danielle's Peace Demo (sadly, as it is a demo, I only ever found the first part of the song).

Oh, such a nice song! And how well it suits to sing it to Buffy smile.gif It feels I could almost do it myself, that little elf is such a wonderful friend happy.gif

*sniff*
Acadian
Aww, thank you, mirocu. happy.gif

As you know, Buffy spends most of her days riding the wilderness and most of her nights sharing a campfire under the stars with her precious mare. In her world, a Bosmer's love of the wilderness and approach to hunting is inspired much more by American Indians than TES lore. Therefore, I found this haunting song wonderfully appropriate to capture some of her feelings -

Wind in the Wire – Randy Travis

Wind in the Wire – Randy Travis

Another nice song smile.gif While listening I looked through some pixies of Buffy I´ve saved on my puter. Together it felt so epic, a tale of someone with a long and remarkable history and yet someone who´s still very humble and indeed, very friendly happy.gif

Both are definitely good pics. Time in a Bottle is an old favorite of mine, that I remember from childhood. The other one I do not know, but it has a lovely haunting melody.

Great, Acadian. You're totally right about the Woodies(Wood elves) in your story. Reminds me of Buffy and her campfire moments! definitely worked.

Mandel-I See Fire-Ed Sheeran

If Lycus/Kraven had his own trailer, the main song would be A Fire Will Rise by Hanz Zimmer.

Love the way it slowly builds up to the drums and the strings.

I have been saving this one for Dark Eye: Nightwish - The Kinslayer

My Spellsword Sellsword, Telindil, now has a theme song: Short Change Hero, by The Heavy.

It's actually the theme music for Borderlands 2, but it's what I was listening to when Telindil dropped into my head. Not entirely sure how that worked out, but I can't listen to it without him springing to mind, rather than Borderlands 2.

So it's his now.

Here's one for Julian in the aftermath of the Main Quest: Love, Love, Luhrv Tina Turner in full-on chain mail!

The sax player in the background ain't so bad to look at, either. Not a big fan of long hair and huge muscles, but him, well, it's a saxophone! Just something about the way he holds it . . . tongue.gif laugh.gif

PhonAntiPhon
Hmmm, I don't know Eilidh well enough yet to know what her theme music would be, but I can tell you this much: it might be a bit grumpy, but it will be nowhere near as dark and maudlin as Niamh's...
ThatSkyrimGuy
This is to throw a little humor on an otherwise somber event. It is for Wallace in H.E.Rider's Cardonaccum. Specifically, for his funeral.

When I picked the Terminator 2 intro as Lothran´s theme I was quite the jester. I chose it as a laugh because I didn´t know what song to really pick as his theme. Now I do.

Green Day - Time of Your Life

This song has been shot to pieces at countless graduations and other occasions but nevertheless I feel this song captures Lothran´s life and future quite well. It´s not meant to be interpreted as his ending, but rather the point in life where he pauses and looks back on all the things he´s done, both good and bad, and what still lies before him. Because his adventures in Cyrodiil are far from over. In a way, they have only just begun...
Acadian
What a nice song for Lothie! happy.gif
mirocu
Thank you! happy.gif

I thought it was well suited as the theme to showcase his long life of adventures and the slight turn it has taken to the more domestic approach in the winter. Though I do think he will become much more active again in the spring. After all, there are many more spells to make and many caves to revisit smile.gif

Now that we have come to the final episode of Seven, here is a song for Ulpia - Maiko Hashimoto - Say Yes!
Grits
And now that I’ve read, I can listen.

I looked up a translation:

Say yes!
I just live more passionately than yesterday...
Say yes!
...because I've known a loneliness that can't be healed.

Say yes indeed! happy.gif

Having some of the chapters of Oblivion finished in my word documents. Of course, some of my characters die. This is a special one for that special moment.

Beauty Killed The Beast-James Newton Howard.
Callidus Thorn
I've not had my latest character long but this is definitely Tarvyn Dralor's theme music:

Paramore- Misguided Ghosts
McBadgere
Right, this is Brother Tharryn's theme...I was using it on repeat while I worked on that first part...Likely it's pretty obvious why... biggrin.gif ...

Anyways, it's my favourite piece of music in the entire AC series...

Jeper Kyd - City of Rome...

I have been listening to my Shinedown cd, and this one came out at me, for Aela at the beginning of her transition to living female.

Shinedown - Second Chance
Darkness Eternal
This one is very appropriate for Kraven's latest tale(The Victory That Broke The Chains). The song is for a certain bloody conclusion in an arc of the story.

Breaker Of The Chains-Ramin Djawadi.

The one below will definitely be posted in the story. Reserved for a character's fate.

Oathkeeper-Ramin Djawadi.

Watching Bubblegum Crisis has made me realize two more songs

Victory by Oomori Kinuko just screamed Persephone at me.

and Touchdown to Tomorrow had Aela all over it. Lyrics like "Kiss me, wind" and "hold me, sky" immediately make me think of relationship with nature spirits
Jacki Dice
Ohh this looks fun.

Swansong for a Raven was the inspiration for the events of Nemesis. Here are the lyrics in case anyone needs them. Cradle of Filth can be a little hard to understand. The title comes from this song and here are the lyrics.

The title for Madness comes from a lyric in Crooked Spoons by Otep.

Tara:
The Doctor's Wife by The Clockwork Quartet
Gathering Fingers by Stolen Babies
Almost There from The Princess and the Frog
Painting Flowers White Never Suited My Palatte by Cradle of Filth (Instrumental)
Satyriasis by Cradle of Filth
Mr. Crowley by Cradle of Filth (Cover)

Kalila:
Carmilla's Masque by Cradle of Filth (Instrumental)
Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from Phantom of the Opera
Family Portrait by Pink
Survive by Rise Against
Jenny by Studio Killers

Lilitu:
Ain't There Anyone Here For Love? from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
Vivica by Jack Off Jill

Wrothken:
Vodka by Korpiklaani (Lyrics)
By the Sword in my Hand by Tyr
Flames of the Free by Tyr
Guardians of Asgaard by Amon Amarth (Lyrics)

Hannibal Traven:
Lovesick for Mina by Cradle of Filth (Lyrics)
Hellfire from The Hunchback of Notredame

I cannot think of a better reason to reanimate this thread than my favorite living dead girl - Persephone.

A few days ago I heard Rush - Time Stand Still, and realized it fits her really well. It feels like those moments in her death where she is trying so desperately to remember what it felt like to be alive.
Acadian
Oh, that does suit Persephone! goodjob.gif

Avada Kedavra! Music is such an integral part of character building so here’s a bunch of tracks I listen to whenever I’m working on a particular character to try to get inside their heads, if you will.

CYLAISE
1. Poacher’s Pride - Nicole Dollanganger
2. Coronation - Ciscandra Nostalghia
3. Cupid Carries a Gun - Marilyn Manson
4. Apex Predator - Otep
5. Wolf Eyes - The Witcher 3
6. The High Fells - The Hobbit Trilogy OST
7. Hans Landa Theme - Inglorious Basterds
8. Magdalena - A Perfect Circle
SubRosa
While watching Daria, I came across a great theme song for Aela and Ungarion (aka Aela and Loria) = Mystik Spiral - We'll Still Be Freakin' Friends
TheCheshireKhajiit
Here is the perfect theme song for Khajiit’s ESO character Brenna:
Eluveitie- Dessumiis Luge
SubRosa
Here is a song for Hrafngoelir in Seven Reimagined - Shinedown - Second Chance
SubRosa
Just heard the perfect theme song for Gadget/Avery = The Score - Unstoppable
Acadian
Very nice, SubRosa. And the modern tune well-suits Gadget.

Buffy has many theme songs. Here's one that that's most appropriate for Buffy and her spirit gang - Guardians of the Woods.
