I don't know much else to say. Ok, Gaius. You win the discussion.
Oh yeah, the deals to either side. Let me give you a list.
Buster Machine number 3: Egg-shaped weapon bigger than a smal planet. It's core consists of Jupiter and a singularity engine. Activating this weapon shall bring the guaranteed destruction of 1/2, 3/4 of the milky way galaxy. PRICE: 50 trillion septims.
Firestorm class Doomstar: A self-repairing Doomstar (Deathstar lookalike) coated in double-layer Xentronium. Weapons consist of roughly 200 autofiring, shield-piercing, continous beam phasors. Also has good protection in the form of temporal shielding. Further accessories include innertial nullification and subspace teleportation. prototype testing resulted in a destruction ratio of 25 Doomstars against one Firestorm before the Firestorm's turn ended. Unfortunately, no hostile Doomstars remained for further testing.
PRICE: 25 trillion septims.
Temporal class hunter: The perfect support unit for the Firestorm, the Temporal class is a small frigate and quite possibly the fastest vehicle in the galaxy with subspace teleportation, innertial nullification and afterburners installed. It also features limited self-repair in case it gets too close to an exploding hostile. It's sole offensive weapon is an array of five stasis field generators. Each field can cover hostiles up to moon-size and freeze them in time. Frozen units can't be harmed but they can't harm anything either. Let the Firestorm clean up any other hostiles and move into position to annihilate the frozen remnants when the Temporal cuts the power on its stasis fields. PRICE: 10 trillion septims.
(The Firestorm and Temporal are my favourite combo in Master of Orion 2: Battle at Antares. And no, I did not overexaggerate their capabilities at all.)
