So is the battle going to be sometime the next day, or will this be like an actual siege (a few days or weeks of little true combat then the climactic end?) If so, then how long are Rann and Bree going to talk before Satyana finally talks to her mother?
minque
Jun 10 2007, 06:33 PM
Not so long! Rann is not a rambling man! Theyīll have a couple of drinks and just get to know each other! Then Satyana appears and ,....well so on. Be reassured youīll soon have your fight! Maybe Satyana will take part in it as well!

Well at nights it seems to really pick up. I was so bored at work because no one was doing anything. I then chill out with friends last night and today I see a whole wackload of posts.
A guy needs his nightlife every now and then!

Anyways, I think I caught up well enough. Though I'm curious of how Veric will find Amrita again since she was not given an amulet. I guess that since she'll be lurking around the Imperial City, she won't be too difficult to find.
I'm also curious. I want Amrita to have some interaction with her siblings but I'm not entirely sure how I want to get that instigated.

Hopefully, Bree will approve of Issac. Seeing as her daughter is the person Issac wants to eventually marry.

However long the battle lasts, the Army of Morrowind will probably suffer 80-90% casualties.
Will the Silhouette fight in the battle? Maybe Astratus could fight him or something.
Patholos would be fine with leadership, but he is still a little insane.

Erm, Karn left the tent shortly after the Commander did and had a talk with Ian. Then he came back to fetch Patholos and return to the Narza'Tai.

i believe the silhouette will not only fight in the battle for the imperial city, he will die in it.
as for me, i am sorry. it will be harder for me to get on from 5 minutes from now until july 20th. im going south to florida and internet access, though available, is slightly harder to come by. i will try to participate in the upcoming battle, but sadril will probably be put on the back burner for a while, and i may try to avoid drawn out conversations with anybody...
i will stay in touch.

we really need altair to make some sort of breakthrough in the battle. maybe let him kill the silhouette?
jack cloudy
Jun 11 2007, 06:02 PM
Letting Altair defeat the Silhouette is fine (with proper setup. We don't want him to singlehandedly wipe out the Sil. That would put too much attention on Veric hiding behind our politician.)
He should also make a speech, make sure everyone knows him and what he stands for. Getting a reputation will make it easier for everyone to accept him as their saviour and help him get on the throne.

i was thinking perhaps allow him to demonstrate leadership by gathering and leading a platoon against the sil, thusly killing him.

Issac's last post was him suggesting they find a place to sleep. So either their near (just outside) the Tiber Septim or their still at the gates....

Jun 12 2007, 07:50 PM
yeah, instead of me having Rann go track them down, I suggest they come to the tiber septim.

Do we necessarily want a meeting between Amrita and her siblings yet? There is a lot of stuff going on soon. Then again, with Revan and Shogun taking off for a little while we might need some banter to bide the time...

Jun 13 2007, 04:14 AM
It seems a little odd that Astratus has made this speech before the Sil has even set up camp on the shore.... and while the heroes are all in the same tavern with off-duty soldiers...... Odd in an amusing way.

Astratus made his speech as a rally, a sort of pep session, not an assembly. Although they are very similar in fashion. Astratus made his speech for morale, and for motivation.

Should Mannimarco return, and maybe give Kirana a new body. There was some sort of connection between Mannimarco and Kirana (pun intended). Kirana would definately have wanted to meet Briana anyway... or should Mannimarco remain a fade?
Lord Revan
Jun 17 2007, 01:35 AM
Sure, that could work, but I'll be gone for a few eeks after tomorow. So this will have to take place whenever Veric reincarnates (or otherwise recalls) Mannimarco. Kirana will, of course, leave out the detail that she ordered Issac to kill her so Mannimarco could be out of the picture (which he isn't).
Lord Revan
Jun 17 2007, 03:00 AM
I HATE double-posting, when I went to review the past playgrounds, it was clear that green-Root has all but one of Kirana's arcane tomes (the one being the book she gave to Altair). So, if Veric and Voltar want that lore, they'll have to get it from Green-Root.... who happens not to trust either of them (the lore went from one suspicous person to another it seems).

hmm... it seems advantageous to veric and voltar to just take out the argonian....
of course if thats out of the question perhaps they can find some way to exile him... set him up for a crime or something...
The Metal Mallet
Jun 19 2007, 10:54 PM
Well I'm certain they could exploit the fact that a lot of the other party members all ready distrust Green-Root. It probably wouldn't take much convincing to get some of the more adamently biased characters to exile him... I'm thinking of Flint mostly, though Flogir could be swayed as well.
jack cloudy
Jun 21 2007, 07:45 AM
Yeah, Flint's all for getting rid of the Argonian.
Hmm, maybe Green-Root should start reading some of those thomes, pick up a spell or two. I'm thinking of 'simple stuff', like Fervus' remote mark and recall combo.
Dantrag, how far from Green-Root and Tenek are you? They're both lounging in a shack at the Waterfront themselves.

jack : I dunno; I haven't decided if Sel will make a cameo appearance. you can have them see Rann if you want, though.
The Metal Mallet
Jun 27 2007, 02:29 AM
It's probably slow because Revan, Shogun, and I guess Minque appear to be away for the moment. Since they all have characters we're currently trying to interact with, it makes RPing a bit difficult

If I remember correctly, Revan was supposed to be back by the 9th or something like that. I don't think Shogun wasn't going to be away too long either. I could be wrong though...
Lord Revan
Jun 27 2007, 07:48 AM
This is from an internet cafe, so don't expect more than one post in the RP before I get back. From what I've read about the vampire clan of Cyrodiil, they won't readily join a conquering army. They'll hold to their political (and otherwise) power, not revealing their identities, but supporting the modern Empire which they are integrated into.
But that's just the smart ones, not particularly evil, just cunning, and looking out for themselves. So either the Cyrodiilic clan will not take part, or just use their influence to aid their "prey" in the conflict.
PS: I'll be back on the 6th of July...... dang, I miss Independance Day!

Jun 29 2007, 04:23 PM
Since most of us are gone, I assume that the fight will be delayed.
This however, is a prime moment to do some planning. Ok, let's hear those suggestions on what each character is going to do. Keep in mind that beating the Sil is Altair's (Veric's) task, with some suitable help if needed.
Flint: Flogir's suggestion sounds fine. Flint is going to mess up the siege engines and thereby help keep the walls a bit longer.
Green-Root: Root is not going to join the main battle, nor is he invited. (most would rather see him thrown in prison for the duration of battle.) I'm seeing him swimming around the lake and stabbing any boat/snake that tries to cross. In other words, he's going to prevent a sneaky entrance through the sewer. Which reminds me. *hurries off to the playground*
The Metal Mallet
Jun 29 2007, 07:35 PM
Well I plan to have Flogir up on the wall or frontlines while the battle first takes place. If a special mission to try and assassinate the Silhouette is made though, the group will have to come to him in order for him to go along.
Voltar will follow Altair since he is his Councillor and will likely help to weaken the Silhouette or focus more on taking out any enemies that happen to be around the Sil at the time.
As for Amrita, I don't know. I'm trying wrestling with the idea to have her talk to her siblings but given the current situation, I can't think of a way to make it fit other than "PooF! Hi! I'm your not-so-nice sister who decided to follow 'Altair's' governance" she says with a sly, knowingly grin.
Though I guess her telling Rann that might sway him to fully join Altair's cause...
Dantrag
Jun 29 2007, 07:59 PM
I think a meeting between her and Rann would go fine. Rann wouldn't judge her based on other people's opinions. But, I don't think anyone's said anything bad about Amrita to him, so he doesn't have much to go on anyway.
The Metal Mallet
Jun 29 2007, 09:13 PM
Hmmm, perhaps I shall instigate a conversation between the two once she finds him alone (which he seems to be right now...). Methinks that Amrita's sister will have her "uneasy" beacon go off if she's around the pair.
Edited my last Playground post. Added an Amrita part for Dantrag.

Uh...ok so Rann just met Amrita....good! Issac, Satyana and Bree are still sitting at that table, right? Maybe thay should move on? And Rahvin, what about him? I mean Satyana will stick with Issac for the moment whatever they will do...that leaves Brianna sort of hanging in the air, so should she be with Rahvin or what? Or should she meet Amrita?
Dantrag
Jun 30 2007, 03:19 PM
Well, Issac kinda started to excuse himself and Satyana, which would then leave Brianna alone. Rahvin's sitting at a table nearby with Aerona; feel free to let Bree join them.

This is not to sound like a prick, Revan, but I just thought I should mention that when Amrita "merges with the shadows" it basically an invisibility spell but with the traits of chameleon, meaning she can still do stuff other than sneak without losing her invisibility.
Ian could still pick up on her scent and know someone is there though with that vampiric detect life spell that vampires have. It does make sense that Issac didn't see her though.
I think Tellie explained the spell a bit better on the character thread. Amrita is the first entry on the second page.

Oh dear! Satyana just got kinda caught by Sel....she doesnīt love Issac less..no no, itīs just a "thing" you know, that young girls sometimes experience with elder men! Itīs quite normal! But it might be an interesting twitch this......hehe
Now it depends on how Sel reacts to Satyana..he might turn her down at once..or he might appreciate her...thatīs up to Danny I guess!
Now how do we proceed with Rahvin and Brianna???
Lord Revan
Jul 5 2007, 03:51 AM
I didn't know she was still "one with shadows," it seemed to me that she was just hugging the wall, simply mistake. It doesn't really matter, she's not detected.... except by Ian.
PS: I know Satyana doesn't love Issac less, but it's still difficult for him to take his lover doing that while he's nearby. It hurts..... not that this has ever happened to me.
