Hehe, no problem Revan. Just making sure things were clear. No big deal in the end I guess. I'll likely keep Amrita to her eavesdropping though. She's too trusting in her "shadow merging" abilities to actually suspect that someone has detected her.

Now it depends on how Sel reacts to Satyana..he might turn her down at once..or he might appreciate her...thatīs up to Danny I guess!
Now how do we proceed with Rahvin and Brianna???
Sel would turn her down. (Now if Rann were in a similar situation (not involving his sister of course) it would be a different story.)
However you want.

Ok...now Sel might at least be polite to her and just sort of treat her as Rannīs sister..nothing else! That would be good, I mean she and Issac are a couple after all!
About Rahvin and Brianna....hmmm I guess they could develop their relations a bit, they have a son you know! And that means something, right?

It seems that the closest thing Rann will ever get to a brother is Issac as his brother-in-law.

Well, we're waiting for more people to be present before we start the battle, so something like that would be good to take some time. post away.

Jul 7 2007, 05:16 AM
Well, I just got back, so maybe things can speed up a bit..... if Minque has the same luck I had and finds an internet cafe` or has internet access in her hotel.....

PS: On their marriage, let's just list that as something that takes place in between Veric's ascension and the beginnings of his fall from grace (if he is going to lose).... Anyway, I've never actually been to a wedding, so I have no experience with writing one.

Edit: didn't see your post Dantrag..... it seems a bit wierd to have a wedding when an army is about to invade a city, but whatever is best, I guess.

wll, for one, since many players are absent at the moment, I'm planning on making the situation more of a siege than anything else; the battle will come later.
Lord Revan
Jul 8 2007, 12:03 AM
One thing we can do in the meantime is the awkward (but enjoyable) introduction of Karn to Rann, Brianna, and (I do not think she was present before Karn's last appearance) Aerona. Some of his former swagger is gone, that sort of happens when you are responsibly for the well-fare of an entire guild (it cools the head a bit).
While he's not so arrogant, Karn doesn't really regret anything he's done. Kidnapping Satyana, murdering hundreds of people, helping the Silhouete conquer Tamriel before turning, and all that. I imagine all that would horrify more than a few pacifists and idealists.

And yes, Satyana was cured of the poison by Serene.

Jul 9 2007, 06:29 AM
well, since green-root will now logically spill the beans on Veric/Voltar, I recommend that Altair (since he was a breton when green-root saw him) make Voltar look like some kind of traitor, absolving himself.
That way the gameplan continues.

Jul 9 2007, 07:37 PM
Oops, I knew I should have read the Planning before posting. Heh, Green-Root now knows the truth. If Ian wants him to testify though, he'll have to drag our scaled friend along. Being a Vampire and with Green-Root not being in perfect condition (and on dry land), that shouldn't be hard for Ian to do.
Dantrag
Jul 9 2007, 08:21 PM
well, he doesn't know the truth...
he came up with the most far-fetched answer possible, if you think about it.
Lord Revan
Jul 9 2007, 09:03 PM
Well, Ian is "far-fetched" enough to accept the possibility as truth. This is about magic and nearly anything is possible when it comes to that force..... curse it!
Ian won't confront Altair, but he will be one of those who will be watching our favorite villain (provided that Flogir buys Karn's story).
jack cloudy
Jul 9 2007, 09:26 PM
Crap, it was farfetched. It would have been more logical for Root to assume that the Breton was the mster behind Altair and Voltar, not Altair=Veric.
Damn, I'll just blame it on the booze, or the lack thereof.
Lord Revan
Jul 9 2007, 09:36 PM
But I believe Karn has seen Veric change forms before. So, if beyond all common sense the group believe him he give Veric away. (I personally doubt it.) Let's just stick with making everyone suspicous of our "politician."
Dantrag
Jul 10 2007, 06:18 AM
Well, I think we should at least keep Altair out of the noose for now. Suspicion is find, but we should keep the heroes from any hard evidence until he comes to power I think.
And I think that all of my characters are in a deadlock with minque's, so I guess I'll wait for her to come back before posting in the playground
PS - and I think it'll be fine with Green-Root having the idea of the shapeshifting, since not so many people trust him. And also, Rann will be a pretty big defender of Altair, so he'll put some good arguments across.
It'll give Green-Root some gloating rights later on.
The Metal Mallet
Jul 10 2007, 07:02 AM
Haha, of course Green-Root has to stay alive first in order to gloat.
Tenek, The Thief
Jul 10 2007, 07:46 AM
The only two people who trust Green-Root, well believe the same thing are both Ian and Karn. The two other people who were in the cave with Veric in Breton form and Voltar. Of the three, only Karn has seen Veric in both forms. And both Ian and Green-Root believe the same thing Karn has seen.
The only person out of the three anyone would trust would be Ian, and a point about Altair questioning his sanity has come up
Then Kirana and Cerpin (whether it matters is entirely up to Dantrag) have overheard everythingso far (not that they'll matter until Ian procures the glove from Rann).
PS: This is Revan speaking.

Hey guys, I heard that Sodsa fled after the dam... burst

and that everyone is holed up in the Imperial City waiting for the siege.
I'm going to assume that i'd be cool if Sodsa came out of his "hiding"to sneak through the sewers to get with all you all?
If not i can attempt to get my hand on some Scrolls Of Icarian Flight or somethin

so uh... since im such an airhead... the tomes the green-root has.... they belonged to kirana or something? and it seems they would hold a high interest to veric? has it been detailed what they contain? or is that yet to be decided?
jack cloudy
Jul 10 2007, 08:56 PM
Well, Green-Root had Kirana's tomes. He hid them in a bag and then hid the bag somewhere underwater where only he can find it.
As for what they contain, I don't know. We do know that they are written in Daedric and contain some information on Rann's tattoo so I suppose they are your general 'old and obscure forms of Magicka' encyclopedia. Didn't Veric got one himself?
I think he might hold an interest in getting his hands on the other tomes so he can learn how to easily deal with Rann if the Dunmer turns against him for example.

Hey everyone! I'm really sorry I left you for so long, some family issues happened and I just forgot all about this and most internet stuff. However, I would really like to come back. I know its annoying when people ask for an update on whats happened, but that would be very useful.
I still remember my character the Silhouette, and Dalrus Varus, though I'll need to think about where they were.
Dantrag
Jul 11 2007, 03:22 PM
Well, since we had to deal with the SIlhouette (he was an important bad guy) I took over control of him temporarily. Now it looks like you can have him back!
Anyway, I'm just going to give you the most recent events, since I'm not quite sure where you left off.
Right now everyone is in the Imperial City since it's under seige by none other than your Silhouette. He's got a massive army of snake-people now, and he's not afraid to use it.
We're planning on having Veric defeat the Silhouette so that he gains popularity and a hero status to take control of the empire. (if you don't want the Silhouette killed, we can work something out. I know he's your character.)
PS - Welcome Back!
Florodine of Hlaalu
Jul 11 2007, 04:02 PM
alright cool! Ill just look over the last thread and start. I would like the Silhouette to live but it's fine if he is defeated, though maybe it should be Veric and another mage.
I am very happy to be back. What happened to Dalrus?
Dantrag
Jul 11 2007, 04:24 PM
Well, the last time you posted with Dalrus was in Playground 7 Page 2. I'm not sure if anyone dragged her along.
Florodine of Hlaalu
Jul 11 2007, 04:54 PM
Im going to have Dalrus be found in one of the camps of the Silhouette in a cage. She was used as a slave by one of the Vampire generals, though she hasn't been turned into one, just abused. I'm going to have her escape.
As for Eurod, he and the Bruma army will be entering the gate as we speak... you can just say your scouts reported it a while ago.
Lord Revan
Jul 11 2007, 05:38 PM
Issac isn't with Satyana and Rann at the moment, he could be entering the Talos Plaza and meet up with Dalrus; take her the Tiber Septim to get help. At least since Rann is all the way in the Waterfront District.

k. i'm afraid there is no chance of me being on until the evening of the 13th. at which point i will be back to the summer norm which is

so metal, seeing as i was an idiot and started a conversation with flogir, you can control veric if it is needed.. or you can get danny to if you want, it doesnt really matter.
Florodine of Hlaalu
Jul 11 2007, 07:30 PM
I suppose I could have Dalrus meet with Isaac, she would know him from before, though I don't think we ever had them talk. We can just assume that since they spent a ton of time running around Cyrodiil, they probably talked a few times.

One more question.... (for the moment

) So everyone is on the city walls? if not where then were would they be?
Lord Revan
Jul 11 2007, 09:14 PM
Most are in the Tiber Septim, but Rann, Satyana, Ian, Tenek, Green-Root, and Sel are in the Waterfront District.
Soulseeker3.0
Jul 11 2007, 09:16 PM
okay, I can work with that, thanks.
Lord Revan
Jul 11 2007, 09:49 PM
Well, I suppose no siege then. Soulseeker's started the battle, looks like the people in the Tiber Septim better get moving.
Originally, I was going to have Issac take Dalrus to the tavern so someone (hopefully Brianna) could hlep her in whatever was required. Apparantly that will have to wait seeing as a full-scale battle has occured.
Soulseeker3.0
Jul 11 2007, 09:54 PM
whoa, hold on.... we can have the siege, i must have just misinterpreted.... i thought the waterfront was under attack.... i can edit.
edit: the way i read Jack's post with Green-root, i thought he meant people were attacking. which is why he took his spear to get those guys on the other side of the lake
jack cloudy
Jul 11 2007, 09:58 PM
Edit: Keep in the boats please. Make it a diversion. Goblins are fodder anyway.
Edit 2: Ok, let's slow down. We're both editing like crazy here and running in circles. Umm, I suppose I didn't make it clear. Green-Root was commenting on the ones chasing Dalrus and Eurod's force. I doubt the Sil just sent the whole army after one girl. So, what are we going to do? The original post follows below here by the way.
Yeah. Flint is going to try and talk with Voltar but I don't give it much hope. Probably Voltar will only get off his first sentence before the alarm comes in and Flint runs off to take out the catapults. Green-Root in the meantime has started his own battle.
There are two questions I want to ask here, especially to Florodine because the Sil is in command of the army, even though it is indirect command. ('I don't order lowlifes like you' sounds pretty indirect to me.)
1: Will Flint succeed at taking down the catapults? If so, will he succeed before or after the walls have been breached? Think carefully. No matter how powerful our characters are, we are outnumbered heavily.
2: The Sil had Shadowscales, Argonian assassins. Will they confront and kill Green-Root? Or will Green-Root lead them in a chase around the lake, slowly whittling down their numbers? Or will they refuse to show up at all? Will some boats escape his spear and reach the city?
Soulseeker3.0
Jul 11 2007, 10:09 PM
Okay, I think i get it now. I will edit my post, when i had the guard say they they were under attack was a mistake, I'll have the guard say that there are forces to the east side and the Waterfront.
Is that good?

Jul 11 2007, 10:12 PM
Yeah, that's good. But people will still be running to their positions.

If Flint needs a hand with those Catapults, He can call on Sodsa (If he finds out he is in the City). After all, Sodsa owes Flint one (You gave Sodsa that Glass armor stuff)
Florodine of Hlaalu
Jul 11 2007, 10:46 PM
They will destroy the catapults, however, the silhouette has other means hes going to use.
As for the shadow scales, have green root fight a small group of them, when the rest come, he should run off. They will then attack the walls.
Lord Revan
Jul 11 2007, 11:27 PM
Karn and the rest of the Narza Tai are now held up in the sewers (although, Sodsa somehow avoided them. Yes, I do pointing out the plotholes in {inserts username here}). And will slaughter any foes who dare intrude upon it from the shadows (they'll cover the leight filtering throuigh the grating and all that so that means basically everywhere).
We could have the number of Shadowscales lessened (there are more targets than the Imperial City after all, other provinces to try and weaken). And a few of them could have been killed on different assignments since the sinking of the Imperial Navy (not the High Naryyn one

)
The Metal Mallet

Well I'm sure if Veric attempts to defeat the Silhouette, Voltar will be there to assist him with his uber Conjurative Skillz.
