But I do not think I joined during that time, but it would be a miracle for all those missing people to show up again, if only for one evening......

there was never a time when this forum bustled with hundreds of people daily. its always been this quiet if i recall.
it may have picked up a bit during the OB hype.. but in the most recent august? it mustve just been one hell of a coincidence to have 150 people on at a time.

What was I about to post? Oh. yeah. Job offers, all turn out to be bogus. Not much money. Not much of a summer vacation [plans], either, except more useless work. In the meantime, I'll waste more time on IRC, so if anyone wants to hear with me, you know where to find me [although #chorrol on ChatSpike's servers is mostly reserved for sleepy people].

Thanks for warm regards everyone. I kinda had to leave on short notice the other night but I'll fill you in on what I understand about the situation:
Yesterday, my younger brothers (who are twins) were playing in a provincial qualifying tournament for rugby. In the second game, my brother had the ball and was taken down. While down, one of the opposing players decided to sucker punch him in the face and this ended up breaking his jaw. I guess at the time he thought he just had a tooth knocked loose but he was bleeding quite profusely so he went to the hospital.
Today, he went into surgery to have his jaw fixed and wired shut. So he's currently spending probably a few more days in the hospital to recover from the surgery. He's going to be wired shut for like 6 weeks though. But from what I understand, the surgery went well, so eventually he'll be back to normal. Support around here was been really good.
As for the 150 people online, I was on that day and I think that only happened because of the google.com thing. We seem to get more guests when that things around, since I think there might've been like 3 actual members on at that time. The rest were all guests.

I finally made an offer on a house so hopefully I'll be moving in the next month or so. I should be hearing back next week on the status. I guess it is going a bit slow because the house was owned by the bank because of a bankruptcy so there was a lot of paperwork and whatnot to fill out. I don't mind though, I'm getting the house for dirt cheap.

Mallet- sorry about your brother's injury- glad he is recovering.
Sir R- That is excellent- I hope you will enjoy the new house.
Mrs. Treydog and I are considering whether we can move to our land in the next county by next year... We will have to build, but the electricity and a well are already in place. Lots and lots of trees, deer, a small creek... Just have to build something to live in.

Is the brother on Vicodine, Metal?
You could get his conversations on tape and sell it to a local comedy shop.
I remember when I had surgery for my chin (it broke) and they put me on Vicodin. My sister and brother both video taped me talking in strange accents and impersonating random people. I had a good laugh once I was off of the drug.
Hopefully your brother is not in any pain.

I don't know what pain killers my brother is/was on. He just got back from the hospital today but I haven't seen him yet because I had to go to work. He didn't look to bad from afar though, he decided to flip me the bird for no reason, so he seems to be acting his usual self.
I don't know if he'll be taking any more painkillers. Probably though, he did have to go through surgery.

I did have some fun though, but I'm definitely going to make sure that our group is bigger next time.
And another thing. Economics is weird. Our Canadian dollar has reached a 30 year high, the last time I heard it was like 94 cents to the American dollar and yet it's a bad thing for a lot of industries. Isn't having a more expensive dollar a good thing?

Big fan of Civilization- have all 4. Also like Europa Universalis, which is quite different (but also hard). I think Civ 3 may be my favorite.
Finally had a little rain here after 2-3 weeks with nothing. Have been putting out food and water for the birds. Really fun to watch- we have cardinals, brown thrashers, and red-bellied woodpeckers (yes, that's a real bird!) which have been feeding their young. Also saw a gold finch today. Really helps that we have one of the few houses in the neighborhood with mature trees.

Well they were actually quite apologetic today about putting me through that. I was actually surprized since they were playing some decent metal when I first got there, but it didn't take long for them to switch it to dancy, alternative rock. I can't really blame them though, you can't dance too well to metal.
I just hope the next time I go, I might be able to enjoy myself.

Well unfortunately things haven't been going well for my brother once again. Supposedly his jaw isn't set probably so that it will heal the right way so he's currently in surgery. This surgery is for putting a metal plate along his jawline which will correct the problem they had with my brother's jaw.
Hopefully this will be the last operation he has to go through.

Yes, I'm alive. I've been busy up until school let out. I got my grades back and I somehow made an A on my trig final. All A's here! Man am I glad.
I just recently played an hour or so straight of Silent Hill 4: The Room. I need to finish the Silent Hill fanfiction I started.
Summer's been really slow for me.... I'm going to be so depressed and lonely when my boyfriend leaves for college. I'm really dreading that. I love him so much. He means so damn much to me. I don't know what I'll do, really. I'll just have to find another way to pass the time.
Saturday is going to be the highlight of the week... DMing another Dungeons and Dragons game. Last game was great, if not severely chaotic. But man was it draining on my mind.
I really need to get to writing and drawing. I have so many ideas it's driving me crazy that I'm not using any of them.

All of my writing ideas are for my Silent Hill fanfiction. Doesn't work very well in the DnD world.

Yeah, I'm taking AP Calculus next year. Meh. Hopefully the people who copied off me in trig won't be there.... well, now that I think about it they won't, because they made horrible test grades. Mwahahaha. They ate coal and crapped out diamonds, but when it came to exams they failed with a PH.

Once 10pm rolls around I'll be off to watch my favourite show, The Ultimate Fighter. So until then I'll just be browsing the internets and here.
