A drink or five? I guess Sethyas hasn't really gotten over things, after all.
Beware the drink!
Edit: Post machine!

Seth is BACK! Oh what joy! I´m intrigued to se this story! A brilliant start it is..and as someone else already stated...POSTMACHINE! But that´s good....for us readers!
Go Sethyas Go!

Post-machine indeed. The adventures of Sethyas in Mournhold are off to an exciting start. He does, however, seem to have developed a penchant for violence that is incongruous with his normally reserved, stick-to-the-shadows personality. I do hope that bar fights do not become common fare for our favorite assassin.

Woot, more Sethyas!
Well, I have the feeling that we'll see Rayne again somewhere along the lines. Probably to talk about Sethyas just leaving all of a sudden.
Nice career change though. From godkiller to a bouncer dealing with drunkards and cheating gamblers. Funny things will happen, I'm sure.

I might not post as often as I should, but I have always enjoyed your story BH. I'm just not an avid poster all the time. Wish I could post machine like you, Blacky!

Nice to see Sethyas get back into the fan fiction section with a boatload of updates. That was some nice reading indeed. Bar fights are always classic, you've seen me use them, so why not?
Continue with the superb work, buddy.

And I look forward to its conclusion.
You're not going to post-machine it up again, are you?

Heh, the mixing up of the names might be unimportant but it sure gave me a short laugh. And I hope that Sethyas' first action is a quick dive to whatever direction is safest. The moment an obviously high powered mage talks to you like that, you either get out of the way or you get fried.
Or you just stand there, absorb the spell and then throw it back. That's another option I suppose. But I don't think that Sethyas can do that.

I agree with Canis, this quest is always a neat one to perform. I look forward to seeing how Sethyas handles this guy...

Wooo, Black Hand update!!! And a nice one at that too (but then, when aren't they nice?).
Now, I know I shouldn't be expecting you to post machine it up, since I know you want to pace yourself and what not, but it'll be great to see how Sethyas plans to inflitrate the Brotherhood. I look forward to seeing what happens next.

It looks like the DB is quite feared here, not to mention well-known. I'm waiting for the moment where they realize that they've got the Morag Tong's boss sneaking around their city. I bet it's going to be bloody.

Hoo ray! Sethyas updates! Good ones at that!
Sethyas yet again uses his cunning to defeat the problem that rests before him. I thought it was quite ingenious for Sethyas to make the murder look like a traitor had killed the head of the Mourhold Sanctuary in order for a "cleansing" to take place. It's certainly a lot easier than slaughtering the whole lot of them.
Continue when you wish, good sir!

Aye, it is a good update. And those cleansings sound brutal, even though they're reasonably effective. (Ignoring the fact that in most cases, there simply isn't a traitor. When there is one, he or she is toast.)
Hmm, cleansings. Maybe I should add some of those to Ra'trith's history. Such a job sounds just right for him. He's already killing his Brothers even without a good reason.

"....the most extreme measure is the Purification, it has only been preformed three times in the past"
Or Lucien Luchance says something like that, anyway the point is there have only been three purifications in the DB's history.
jack cloudy
Mar 17 2007, 05:29 AM
Hmm, that's true. But I still like the idea of Ra'trith legally wiping out a sanctuary. Now if Lucien literally says that, he could be referring to in Cyrodiil only. (Yeah, I'm desperate.) Besides, a Dark Brother only knows about his or her own sanctuary, right? So finding out if another sanctuary was purified could be troublesome.

Sethyas my friend.....you are going to get yourself into trouble, mark my words. Mournhold means trouble, it always does. Remember your friends are thinking of you and keep their fingers crossed you´ll get out of it....alive!

What a spectacular way to deal with the brotherhood. Expecting a ritual cleansing was somehow surprisingly appropriate, and it will be quite disconcerting to the brotherhood. I'm looking forward to seeing what Sethyas does with his newfound information.

I especially liked the exceptionally calm demeanor of the captain in the face of Sethyas' belligerence. It seems to me their interactions will provide great entertainment. I also enjoyed the way Sethyas has gained an ally, or at least a spy, in Mournhold. I'm sure it be useful.

You know, this sounds like plain gossip but we all know that Helseth comes from a manipulative family. Hell, if you believe the Real Barenziah, his own mother seduced and played the most powerful Battlemage ever like a puppet! (I don't believe it, though.)
Good work though. I feel for Sethyas. He's doing things he'd rather not do, all to get his life back.

Hooo ray! A Sethyas update, good to see them still popping up every once and awile.
It certainly seems that Sethyas is going to be stuck working for the Spider-King for awile. Hopefully he doesn't become overwhelmed by all the dirt he'll have to toss up. Great work as usual Black Hand!

Welcome back. Now let me tell ya, the temple may act all nice and stuff (well, to willing sponsors, that is.) but they can be damn rough if you get on the wrong foot. But I have all the confidence in the wrold that Sethyas won't be stupid enough to get into a brawl with a bunch of hands.

The same sentiments come from me as well. It's great to see the continuation of this story.
Sethyas insight on things is certainly impeccable. He catches the nuances that characters display quite frequently. Plus, his altercation with Gaenor was excellently described, his reaction was priceless.
Hopefully posting of this story will become more frequent, but I shall remain patient for whenever that comes next.

Nice investigating as always. I can imagine Sethyas' frustration. Do this, do that and all that stuff. Man, it's like everyone is scheming against Helseth. He should just stop working for his enemy and try to get all the different schemers to coöperate.

Hmm that paragraph about Sethyas sticking to his Morag Tong guidelines leaves me interested in how he'll handle these writs. Will he in fact, murder these men or consider another possible option. I look forward to seeing which conclusion he chooses.
Glad to see he isn't very happy with Delitan right now.
