HAHA-- thats great. But I must argue the fact that cats "are sooo 2005". This is due to the fact that cats are awsome whether people liked them now or then. Obviously, if you take a look at the forum, cats are the new "trend".

Oh, I swear somebody broke that dog's legs to get him to lie like that. Anyway, just type in cutest puppy ever in google and you'll find it, it was some guy or lady who posted a picture of her new puppy on a forum, or something, but then the blogs went crazy.

That picture of a dog laying down looks photoshopped..Look at the arms, the joints arent even near right. It looks like a teddybear with a dogs head. And note how blurry the pic is..It looks like someone used photo editor and did the smooth option on it.

Looks like a Cocker Spaniel to me- based on the color and texture of fur, shape of nose and ears.
As to the legs- puppies, like human babies, are incredibly flexible and for the same reason- more cartilage than bone. In fact, that can be a problem with some breeds, like a certain wiener dog
<------ leading to joint dysplasia (dislocated hip or shoulder). He managed to jump from a chair TWICE and end up with a front leg sticking out at a right angle... Popped back in with massage. When he finally got old enough for the bone to solidify (and to stop jumping off chairs), the problem went away.

So, I was watching A&E today, and watched a show called 'Mindfreak'. Beasically, this magician (Criss Angel) goes around doing stunts/tricks.
Anyway, do you guys think he's a fraud, and the tricks are just done for TV? Because he does some ridiculous stuff that I have no solution for. (And I pride myself in figuring out how magic tricks work)
I mean, he made this woman's ring 'disappear', and it appeared
inside an ice cube in her drink.
Check out some videos

Nah there's always a few tricks, the thing is you have to think outside the box, magicians don't play by the rules for magic tricks. I've seen him do amazing things, too, but if you research him he's been an acting magician nearly his entire life and was performing street magic long before he got a show, so the tricks most likely do not involve him editting or paying people to act surprised. The only editting he does is edit out all the failures he has at making magic tricks work.

I love it when I can figure out the trick, like he did one where he had his friend select a card, put it back in the deck, and then he drove by in a motorcycle and his friend through the pile into the air, he grabbed a card from the rain of cards and it turned out to be the card his friend selected, but you can actually see he doesn't really grabbed a card, he flips out a card from his hand or something.
Yeah, he's pretty good, but he's no The Magnifigant Bender

Well, I'll be gone for ten days visiting South Carolina and Washington D.C. so don't expect any posting from me. I will have my good computer fixed by then, so I can update my FF (bet you didn't see that coming *points at Tellie*). Gonna visit the spy museum, sleep in a bugged hotel, shop at a Piggaly Wiggaly, go to the Smithsonian, watch Comedy Central and eat some fine southern sea food (and Bayou food as my friend calls it. Mmm, Alligator).

I think I'm slowly getting insomnia. Yesterday I went to bed at 2 and didn't fall asleep till 7:30, then had to wake up and do crap at 9:30 so i took a 2 hour nap from 3-5, but that was it, 4 hours of sleep. i was expecting to be so bushed I'd sleep till 11, and I went to be at 11, but no, I woke up at 2:30 and it is now 5:10, and I still can't fall back asleep. It's like... I'm always tired when there's compassion to be done, and never tired when there's nothing to do at all, this sucks. I have to leave at 11 and have a full day ahead of me. if I don't pass out then hopefully my clock will be back in order.
And as long as we're on the subject, any of you have any experience with lucid dreaming? I've been working at it for like 2 weeks now, I've gotten close like 10 times in my life but I don't think I've ever had a lucid dream.

God... Have been sick quite a while now and got pretty bad on Thursday; started by throwing up at around 21:15 after lying in my bed in pain for several hours, then it felt a little bit better, took a shower and about 30 min when I got into my room I threw up straight away again...

Around an hour later I threw up again... and then again right after twelve. Didn't manage to sleep at all, then around 04:00 I threw up again. Went to sleep after that and when I got up I threw up yet another time at 09:00. Lost a couple of pounds alright...
So I've been in bed all this time, drinking like a river of water each day and watching the World Cup... Anyway, feel much better now without the stinging pain in my stomach and all that - But at the moment, a muffin sounds pretty sweet

I'm hoping that you are feeling much better by now. Cain got a sickness like that, a virus, and it was awful to try to take care of him but there really wasn't much to help except to let it run its course. You have a vanilla muffin but no beer or anything hard on the stomach for awhile.

Well Minque, you come down to Sanford, Florida and you will find plenty of Swedish people to stay with. Back in 1870 a man who was the previous Ambassador to Sweden bought some land in Florida and couldn't hire enough local people to clear the land and plant his orange trees. So he sent to Sweden with the announcement of free boat passage, sponsored citizenship and five acres of land for anyone who'd come work his citrus groves. He got 100 voluteers and that's how the lovely town of Sanford, Florida was born and Florida's Swedish population was begun. Or so I read ...
