Veric

"Deal with them, if you would, but leave Telina for me," Veric commanded Ragoth. The effect should last for a little while, but with any luck the man was driven mad enough to not know when it had worn off.

(OOC: this is kinda akward, but i want to give tellie something to post too once she gets back on)

Once, through the help of the manipulated Ragoth, Telina and Veric were relatively isolated from the others the unspoken duel would begin. Veric chose the dueling grounds, or rather made them. Through a bit of effort Veric somehow managed to raise the small plot of land both him and Telina were standing on, effectively making a floating dueling ground roughly thirty feet in diameter and high enough off the earth to be dangerous to anyone not a skilled acrobat.

"Now. Where were?" He asked Telina with a crooked smile.

OOC: kinda took liberties with your char. DH, if its a problem just ignore it. i have to go now

Fervus Noctus, earning his pay in the fight between Veric and Ragoth.

Fervus would've rolled his eyes if he had them. That man was simply annoying. Still, Fervus had a job to do. After the fireball smacked in the madman's face, Fervus cast a quick healing spell to heal his wounds. Only to have the man be commanded by Veric a moment later.

,,This isn't funny." The Lich muttered when Veric's slave approached. Fervus raised himself to his full hight and shouted in a thunderous voice that carried far of in the distance:,, Do you like to fight Daedra?! Here is one!"

A swirling cloud of Magicka formed around the Lich and Daedric armour embraced his frail form. After the Magicka dissipated, it looked as if a true Dremora was standing in the snow.
,,I'm sorry, lady. I am a bit distracted. I'll deal with it as fast as I can! Twilight, help the Dunmer!" Fervus shouted and looked at the floating platform.

The Winged Twilight swooped down on Veric while Fervus began to boost his own body to stop Ragoth.

(Shogun, you can take out the Winged Twilight if you want. Just to show once again how bad and powerfull your character is. )


Flint Ironwood, nearby.

,,What in the name of Nocturnal?!" Flint thought as he looked at the floating platform.
,,Right, can anything else go wrong here?" He muttered to himself. Flint drew his blades but stayed where he were. Maybe later he would intervene but for now, Flint didn't want to have anyone try to kill him.

Ragoth watched the sorcerer with interest. Once the armour was summoned something inside him started boiling over, he was going entirely mad. He drew both blades stabbed himself with one and jumped and cut a cresent arch leading toward the lich's shoulder.

Fervus Noctus, fighting Ragoth.

Fervus brought up his staff and somehow blocked the sword. Instead of taking the opportunity to swing, he fired a spell that would blind anyone in the area. Fervus' vision went black for a moment before returning. Now he had to see if Ragoth resisted the spell.

Ragoth stumbled as he suddenly lost his sight, he slowed taking a slow step at a time. He listened intently until he finally heard a small noice and he starte a serious hacking and slashing in the direction.

OOC: It should be near you Cludy, but not exactly where you're standing... although if you move it'd be easier for him to find you.

Fervus Noctus, more casting.

Fervus gave a bony grin from underneath his hood. He pointed his arm and fired a mark spell. A recall later, and he was standing a bit further away from the man.
He next summoned a Dremora with a Dwarven Warhammer and put a shield on his minion.

,,keep that man over there busy but don't kill him. I have a Dunmer to help out." The Lich told his Dremora and dispelled his bound armour before looking at how Telina was doing. If he was right, the mad man he'd just been fighting always became very aggressive when seeing a Daedra. Without his armour, Fervus wouldn't draw his attention.
,,Let him fight the Dremora, I've got better things to do."


(Sorry, but this is just the way my Lich fights. Hope he can handle a Dremora while he's blind. The fact that the Dremora won't kill him should help. )

Ragoth wandered until he heard the swish of a weapon, a hammer hit him in the shoulder. Ah, the Demora wants to play! Ragoth complied hitting it inthe shins with the blunt ends of his baldes, arched them spun in a sprial, getting a hammer blow to the ribs as he did, and hacked the Demora's armour into a state of shambles, Ragoth stopped and began the final arch to cut the Demora's head off...

OOC: This all takes time... so Cloudy if the Lich wants to run he can.

Telina, smiling

Telina got a little shocked as a part of the ground simply lifted itself into the air, but she quickly overcame it...as a matter of fact it would help her.

"Ah....we were at the part where I will kill you", she said, smiling wryly at Veric.

Her eyes turned completely white, the snow started whizzling up, moving so fast that anybody would have big problems to see more than a few inches around themselves. The blizzard got bigger and bigger, and Telina started to slowly focus it, before she sent it off with astonishing speed and power towards Veric.

OOC:yes, that is a higly damaging spell, but Veric wont have problems surviving it, but it will be a lil bit painful though...

Fervus Noctus, standing and watching.

Fervus cast a quick glance at his Dremora and shook his head.
,,This is ridiculous. I'll just play by the Breton's rules for a change." He muttered and cast a Command Humanoid spell on Ragoth.
,,Get out of here." He ordered Ragoth without knowing if his spell had worked. If it had, good. If it didn't, he had to think of something else.

Ragoth slowed, his blades stopping short of snapping the Demora's head off. "Where, trees are far too tall, is the way out?" Ragoth head slowly turned looking for something he couldn't see. "Master Fervus?"

Fervus Noctus, having a slave.

Fervus thought for a moment. It appeared his spell had worked. It was a bit of a shame really that he had no idea how to help the man fight the disease of his mind. Fervus pointed towards the nearest village (over the horizon.)
,,Over there. Now go." He said and thought of something.
,,And go get your sanity back." He added. Frankly, he had no idea if a command spell could do that, but Magicka would always have its mysteries.

Veric, In Teh Sky

Unfortunately Veric's shield had worn off. A frost shield would have been quite handy now, but he didn't have time to cast one. He decided to simply cross his arms in front of his face and endure through the blizzard.

The spell was powerful. Enough so to lift Veric off his feet, though he managed to keep his balance and land back on his feet at least. "You know some nifty spells," he called out from behind the white-out before sending a fireball of his own through the dense snow. Himself, although he had not emerged, had several cuts around his body and across his face from the speed of the moving ice particles.

Ragoth's master had commanded him to run to the nearest village. Moments ater of extreme running he was there pondering what his master wanted him to do next. So he began walking back to his master "Fervus........."

Brianna, waiting eagerly to get permission to cast her......VC..

She watched the ongoing fights......and the urge to cast vomica cruor was big.....it would really be a treat to watch the spell literally eat the enemy from inside......burning flames, not visible but eating their way through flesh and bones..turning it all into ashes

Brianna chuckled.....

Telina, the sky, showing off

Telina watched the fireball move towards her...she did not make a move to get out of the way, instead she extended her hand, and the fireball was stopped a few inches from her hand, swaying in the air.

She started to feed more power to the fireball, and enwraped it with lighting, before she sent it back to Veric. "Compliments from those who you have killed", she yelled through the snow.

Arco

Arco was standing all out in the open, a long distance away from where the battle took place. Not even his keen eyes could make out more than small dots flying around and lighting up the air with their impressive magic. His hands tightened around the curved hilt as his two blades was pointing downwards. He was eager to go closer, it had been a long time since he had seen such a performance of powerful magic. Arco leaned forward, only to step back again as he thought it wouldn't be a good idea to get involved in anything else than what he had just done against what he thought was a bandit. (Hecate)

Who are these people?

Hecate

Hecate had reappeared far away from the current position of the group. Judging by the direction they had been heading, he knew they were going to travel further south. Hecate mounted his horse and rode quickly in front, hoping to set up a attack plan, waiting for them to come to him...

Fervus Noctus, standing near the floating platform.

,,That's right, show him!"
,,Fervus........." The Lich turned around and saw the crazy man was back.
,,Aargh! Look, just go walk around in circles and stop bothering me!" He snapped at the man.

He shook his head when he turned back to the fight on the platform.
,,This is pointless. How can I possibly get him to leave me alone?"

Serene, walking in the snow

Serene decided she couldn´t stay in the snowy spot anymore, she wrapped Brianna´s coat tightly around her, checked that the glove still was in her possession and started walking towards where the commotion occurrred. They should all be there...she supposed. She focussed on the sheer effort of walking, one foot before the other and so on

She stopped a bit away from the fighting-ground, she didn´t want to be seen

I can feel someone familiar......and also Hecate isn´t far away.....Brianna is present.....and Telina!! Oh Telina.....but....but there is someone from the old times here somewhere

Serene looked thoroughly over the plain in front of her.........

Ragoth turned and began walking around in a circle... slowly a thought started to crack the spell... ever so slowly...

Veric

"Interesting idea," Veric complimented as his own fireball infused with lightning hurled towards him. Veric attempted to copy her technique, he had always been a fast learner. He held out his hand and, with a bit more effort than Telina (he just learned it ) shot the ball back towards Telina; a deadly frost spell now in the mix.

(cant wait till he learns vomica cruor )

Telina, trying to smash

She saw it come back....so, he thought he could beat Telina in a game of Telepathy...no way. She sent it back twice as fast, and sent another spell at the same magnitude just after it.

"Catch that one beast", she laughed.

OOC:You realise that it would normnally have to be learned through someone good at that kind of magic...right , like it took Telina weeks, but give a heck...this is fun.

Brianna

"Need help now Telina?" Brianna whispered "vomica cruor"and a very small but deep red flame was visible in her left hand, the moment she moved that hand in some direction, the small flame would penetrate it´s target and immediately start the internal fire

"Shall I?????"

Telina, starting to think she have the upper hand.

No...not yet, he must first use a lot more of hius magicka, be more vulnerable you might say...I'll make sure it will happen

She concentrated to feel the big part of the ground floating in the air...time for good'ol Veric to have the shock of his life. She suddenly made the platform fly higher up in the air....MUCH higher, and then suddenly, all but a little part of what she was standinbg on, turned to dust, and Veric started to fly down towards the ground...."Have a safe flight", she laughed wildly.

OOC:yes, evil that was...this should probably drain some of his powers, to be levitatating so much that he must do now.You might just make him get even more angry and decided on having Telinas head on a pike(or whatever else would please him)...but of course she wont die:p

Arco

In the corner of his eye Arco noticed someone, someone walking from the battle out in the misty forest. It wasn't easy to know if the figure was looking at him or not, but Arco held his ground - he didn't fear anything in this place. Arco only stood there, as a silhouette with fiery red eyes in the distance...

Ragoth's mind became his again... He saw a raised platform with the Dunmer girl and the sorcerer having a blazing magic fight. Getting a running start he jumped and maganged to sink his baldes into the hanging stone on the end of the platform, blade over blade he began climbing... just as the enitre thing but the small piece he was hanging on turned to sand.

OOC: He's climbing up on the piece Telina is standing on... (very bottom.. it'll tkae him a while to get up)

Edit; OOC: I know Tellie.. he's climbing... probably won't get up until it fianlly drops.. (he's in all that armour he has a long way to climb yet)

Posting...eh DH you do realise that we are hovering like twenty thirty metres above the ground...that was the whole point with the platfor...NO ONE was supposed to get up there.

Sasal

Sasal walked behind Serene as he was in deeply thought. He saw Both his and Serene's shadow as he followed her. He stuck his hand out, as if they were holding hands. He laughed silently as the falling snow melted on his face. If only.... maybe next life time..... he thought as he dropped his hands to his side and walked along with her.

Fervus Noctus, standind underneath the platform.

Fervus received a small pocket of dust in his face when part of the platform fell apart.
,,Kids these days." He muttered to himself. He watched the spells shooting back and forth with growing concern.
,,If she gets hit, she's done for."
To remedy this, Fervus began casting more shields and a reflect on Telina. The chance that anything might get through the defences he'd just put up was very small.

Rahvin

Well, let's look for him. maybe talk to him or something. convince him to tak someone else's bpdy, maybe? Sounds like a stretch, but I'm willing to try anything that doesn't kill my body.

Telina, getting boosted

Telina felt even more protective spells land on her, but in the same time she felt someone try to climb up on the platform...someone else than Veric, stupid.

She made the part he was climbing on smoulder to dust, and awayted Veric to reappear.
OOC:Ragoth is now falling towards the ground(thirty meteres above the ground actually).

OOC why would he be angry? this is fun.

Veric

Indeed Veric was suprised when his little game with the ball of magicka was interrupted by his own platform crumbling from beneath him. The sudden drop even managed to get his adrenaline pumping. He fell a few feet before launching off a levitation spell and returning to Telina's height; clearly he was in no hurry.

"You're just full of surprises aren't you?" he called out to Telina then paused for a moment, "But there is one flaw..." Veric finally added with a smile before charging through the air at Telina. He swung his right arm in a wide arc making a 'wave' of fire directed at Telina. He was hoping she would not be able to avoid it, seeing as she had trapped herself on a small platform.

Telina, realized she have done a mistake.

She smiled when Veric came up to her level again...."Indeed, I am full of surprises". Just then came a sudden wide flame arc towards her..."Oh BUGGER", she jumped backwards, and extended her hand as she fell down towards the ground.

She fell and fell, while she tried to stop, a few feet before the ground did she stop in the air, she landed softly on the ground. She looked up at Veric who had this smug smile on his face, he would regret this, She told a jump spell, and jumped up towards him, extending her swordarm, holding it pointed at Verics heart...she started spinning, and she flew faster and faster.

OOC:Whats the point withg magic, Telapathy is so much more fun, no use of magicka

Veric

Forunately Telina had distance to cover between herself and Veric, so an attack was anticipated. Through the use of the same magick that built and destroyed the floating platform the two of them were fighting on Veric moved the smaller platform that Telina had just jumped from to rest in the air between him and her attack. Lets see you cut through rock.

Ragoth watched the two conitue thier fight in the air, the girl had caused him to fall off, but that didn't stop him from doing anything. A rock barrier raised in front the girl before she hit the other man, but Ragoth was too buzy getting ready to throw his swords at the sorcerer to notice...

Flint Ironwood, intervening in the fight (finally)

Flint had kept clear of the battle. Lately it seemed that he always got beat up whenever he tried to help. But when Veric put what was left of the platform between him and Telina, the Breton couldn't stop himself.

He began using a Telekinesis spell with one hand while firing Telekinetic blasts with the katana he held in his other hand. With a bit of luck, he might just manage to provide enough momentum to push the platform out of the way. Well, mostly out of the way.
,,I wonder what part of my body will get hurt first?" Flint thought to himself.

Ragoth was doing his best to throw his sword high enough t hit the sorcerer when, one of his swords while in the air was hit by a telekentic blast and sent flying toward the magi.

Sadril

Well it's better than nothing I suppose... I'm not sure how willing he will be to just give up his body. Sadril continued walking through corridors and turning corners. Each hallway looked identical to the last, stone walls, illuminated by some unknown force bright enough to see well. Doors were sparse and were what seemed like miles between.

Finally Sadril stopped in front of an unremarkable wooden door. This should be it. He knocked twice, "Cerpin?"

(OOC: danny, it's the correct door)

Telina, in for a massive headache

Telina saw that Veric moved onto the platform, and she was heading straight towards it....oh great, just my luck, was all she could think before her sword imbedded itself in the rock. Her face hit the hard rock right after the sword did, and she was hafly unconsious, but still she managed to hold on to the platform.

She let her hand feel across the platform, before she managed to touch Verics foot...ok, lets see you live through this...VOMICA CRUOR, she yelled, and the arcane spell bit into Verics' skin, starting to boil blood, and burn away flesh, as fiery flames raged through his body, and then she fell down towards the ground...Bree, help me, and then it all turned black.

OOC:That was the signal for Veric to buzz off, if I'm not incorrect ....was a nice fight though. I'm sure telina will pay in pain and blood someday...but not now

(OOC: he wasn't exactly standing on it... but whatever)

Veric

Veric doubled over, pain surging through his entire body. He held his hand out in front of his face, watching as the flesh began burning away, and started laughing a dark hysterical laugh before vanishing completely.

He reappeared back in his dining room, where not too long ago Cerpin and Sadril were lingering. Still laughing he stumbled forwards to the table and used it to brace himself. Veric was breathing heavily as his insides burned away; he would not last another minute. Slowly the walls of his 'Castle' began disintegrating revealing an endless black emptiness. (Cerpin may notice this as its possible parts of his room are breaking down)

Veric knelt, blood dripping out of his mouth. His eyes were blank, it seemed he had trapped himself in his own madness and for a moment he as well as any others within his lair were doomed. But focus came back into his eyes and his breathing stopped. Veric hastily focused all his knowledge of restoration against what he knew about the Vomica Cruor and eventually, combined with his willpower, overcame it.

He fell back, breath returning to his lungs, blood staining the floor. The 'Castle' restored its lost parts almost immediately as Veric stood up and straightened himself.

"Well," his voice echoed through the empty chamber, "That was fun."

Cerpin

Cerpin had almost drifted into a deep sleep when a knock came to his door.

"Come in, Vamp-" he began to say, but the fact that the walls around him were vanishing stopped him midsentence.

Fervus Noctus, healing and well um...congratulating.

Fervus noticed the end of the fight.
,,I do hope you're alright, lady. Congratulations with your victory." He said while he cast a healing spell on Telina just to be sure.
,,Too bad he got away. By the way, if I'm not mistaken we haven't quite introduced ourselves. I am Fervus Noctus, from Argonia. Well, one of the many Argonias. And you are?"

Flint Ironwood, relieved.

Flint breathed out. He hadn't noticed that he held in his breath in anticipation.
,,Yippee, he didn't come to beat me up after all! Maybe my luck is finally changing." He suddenly yelled out and did a little victory dance.
,,Maybe I should start working on my Destruction skills, it does seem to be handy. And Conjuration would be nice also."

ragoth was alredy running after his sword when, he tripped over a stone, hit his head against a tree and impaled himself on his own sword. At least I found....

Telina, getting healed, and congratulated.

She woke up, o see the lich stand above her, healing her. She shook his hand, "Telina Delvanni, my background is my own affairs, but yo may say I'm widely know throughout Vvardenfell and Morrowind....so, er thnaks for helpin me out".

She got up, and wiped the blood away ffrom her face, and then turned to Flint. "I'm sorry Flint, I did not mean to attack you, Death did...notme, so we're still friends"?, she said with an unsure smile, holding her hand out.

Flint Ironwood, surprised.

Flint interrupted his victory dance and stared at Telina's hand.
,,Well, I'm still alive so.....Sure!" He said and shook her hand.
,,But what are we going to do now?" He then muttered to himself.


Fervus, too late.

Fervus bowed.
,,It is my pleasure to meet you, Lady Delvanni. Now.......NO, THE FOOL!"
Fervus went over to Ragoth as fast as he could and looked down on the man.
After a short look, he shook his head.
,,I was too late. May you find peace.....and sanity." He whispered and closed Ragoth's eyes.

Telina, giving orders

"Well first on our list should be to regroup, and for Azuras sake stay together, and get out of this cursed forest, that monster Veric is far by dead, he only fled, so he will continue to hunt us".

"Stay here, and stay close to eachother, that includes you to Bree, I'll find the others".

She ran a bit, and suddenly bumped into Serene...

Brianna being very angry.....

OOC: The vomica cruor-spell is a specialty of Serene and Brianna! None of them has taught anyone else to use it......so now they are angry because they naturally think "someone" has stolen their spell! ( And honestly.....a skilled mage as Telina could make her own spells, no need to steal others huh?)

Brianna got very angry as Telina used "her" spell......that was something she did not expect, not from someone who claimed to be her friend

"NOOOOO......." she screamed, turned around and went some yards into the woods again

"And I will by no means obey any orders from you" she spat at her friend

Serene

"Oops....take it easy" she smiled a bit sour when Telina bumped into her

"Soo, you used my spell ? did you.....hmmm well I thought you had your own Telvanni-specialties"

Serene understood why Brianna was angry, but the fact remained, the secret was now out and she had to think about some modifications to it in order to preserve its unique powers

OOC:Dear oh dear...didnt think they would take it that hard..., and I think I have read the Vomica Cruor being used by someone else too...Sudhendra anyone, so I really didnt think it was Serene's and Bree's spell alone....lets just say Telina picked it up from a mutual friend of Serene and Telina(Baladas maby )...that should take care of most rpoblems, I hope.

Telina, being yelled at

Telina heard Bree's outburst, of using her spell and such....not again, she sighed. And after that Serene being rather stiff towards her too.

"Damn, I'm sorry allright, I said the first spell that came to my mind, and I cant help for getting into trouble like I did for a few moments ago, remember we are talking about my never existing luck, something like this always happen".

She looked down a bit, she was outragesly angry at both Serene and Bree for the moment, here she save their life, and what do she get uin return, anger for using one of their private spells, hmpf, I'm not the only Telvanni to have used that spell, Sudhendra have also used it on many ocations, she thought.

"So next time I try to save your skins, I'll make sure to use a spell not "owned" by anyone", she said with a highly sarcatic voice, and then she walked away, to cool down.

Flint Ironwood, angry (no, not because of the spell 'theft', but beacuse of the results of said 'theft'.)

Flint stomped on the ground with his boot.
,,Alright, that's enough! Cut it out!" He yelled while waving his arms through the air to draw attention.

,,You girls can do whatever you want in your spare time but as long as that guy is still alive, you will stop fighting amongst each other! Just to inform you, I doubt he left cause he wanted to die alone where no one would see him. So you either make up right now and be friends, or I'll just let you all rot when that guy comes back!"
He turned around and sat down at a nearby tree.
,,Women." He muttered under his breath and rolled his eyes.


Fervus Noctus, responding.

,,While I wouldn't have tried to make my point clear in such a loud manner as our friend over there, I do agree. Our foe is clearly too powerfull for anyone of us to defeat alone. We must work together if we are to survive. Lady Delvanni, you....have been involved with him. Do you perhaps know where he could be hiding?" Fervus spoke and looked up from Ragoth's grave he'd just dug.

Arco

Arco watched as Telina cast the powerful Vomica Cruor spell, it somehow felt familiar too Arco. It looked like the Dunmer woman had won the duel, but didn't manage to kill the sorcerer but his precense was far away now. Arco stood there seeing that the group didn't feel too happy about the victory they just had managed. Without nothing else in mind, Arco finally sheathed his two scimitars gently. Strapped his belts a little tighter before giving a last look at the group before he turned and started walking through the snow filled woods...

Oran sat in his cell, his food had become more xotic for a while, all of it coming from Morrowind. He tossed his Orcish armour aside and began chewing on the Scrib Jerky.. I wonder where Arygon is going to send me?
