Mine comes from a webcomic called VGcats. It focuses on parody of video games and the creator was nice enough to have a section on his site that contained avatars. There's quite a few funny ones but I chose Pantsman for this site at the moment. I think it's obvious what his powers are...

My avatar is now that of the Stanley cup. Because, well, the Carolina Hurricanes most definately won it!

That was an excellent game last night. Though I was personally cheering for Edmonton... Ohwell, maybe next year a Canadian team will win...

I'm a huge 'Canes fan, as I live in North Carolina. It's a huge deal over here. They had a parade today, in honor of the Hurricanes.

It's really weird that it's a big deal too; last year nobody gave a hoot about hockey.

That was the case because hockey was on lockout. The year was cancelled because players were too greedy and didn't like the idea of a salary cap. I was estatic that they got it going again. And congrats to the 'Canes, they played well.

Even the year before the strike, nobody around here cared.

Anyway, I wouldn't say it was greed so much as common sense. I mean, would you support a limit to your own salary? I wouldn't.

True, I guess I was just thinking that if you're making 10s of millions of dollars in 3-5 years, what's the big deal of losing a couple million due to salary caps?

no, that's not really my cat. I'd never let a kitten wear a big hat like that, although we did have a female doberman who insisted on wearing a T-shirt that said "BMX Beast"

My cat wont even ware a collar, forget about takin a pircture of her wearing a hat and putting as a sig.

My avatar is from the Xbox site and is the Oblivion achievement picture for when you become Arch-Mage of the Mages Guild.

My cat used to slide cheap collars off her, then when we bought expensive ones which would break if caught on a tree so not to strangle the cat, just used to get them stuck on trees and break them off, so about 5 collars later we gave up.

When we put the break-off collars on my cat, she just sat there and meowed pitifully until we just took it off out of pity. The other one scratched us when we tried to put it on
