He's referring to the name of the subtype. In Morrowind the Khajiit were Suthay-Raht. We're never told what we have in Oblivion, so we can only guess based on the little we know from before. Click here for a bit more about the subtypes.

I know about sub-types! Aren't Suthay-Raht the big ones? If they're not, I'm guessing these are... Ohmes-Raht, because they can wear shoes!

Suthay-Raht aren't that big, as we could see in Morrowind. But yeah, you might very well be right about the Ohmes-Raht being in Oblivion. They're not Ohmes, though, since the Ohmes are shorter.

I tend to use stealth characters, but I dislike Kajiit and Bosmer. Dunmer look cool, and are well rounded. Altmer are tall, stately, and have believable weaknesses (only gods are perfect, not demi-gods). Imperials are subtle, intelligent, and minipulative (in a good-fun- way)

My favorite race is dunmer, cause' they look cool and have high blade, marksman and destruction skills. I love it cause' that's my favorite combo.

Heh, I don't have Oblivion yet but I will, someday. So, I suppose I could answer in this thread, right? As for character, in Morrowind I played as the rude yet noble swordfighter/mage Luper Alkad who was a Redguard by the way. In Oblivion, I think I'll go for the clawing, backstabbing, antisocial, bloodthirsty Khajiit with a fur as black as the night that spawned him.

Well currently I have three characters..

A Breton Crusader, whos more like a battlemage.

A Dunmer swordsman/archer

And an Atlmer God... Hehe, I played with his stats cause I wanted to see what a super sorcerer would be like.. And omg, it kicks boat.

But my fav has to be the Imperials.. Don't know why but I always associate myself with them.

I like bretons because I'm more like a breton, kind've cowardly, would rather shoot some magic great compassion at somebody than beat them with a sword. But even then, I like imperials better, because the name 'Shiniku' is a name for a character I created ages ago and he is most similar to an imperial. All that aside, I prefer argonians, becaue they rock. 'Not your's, mine!'

I like Khajiit the best as i like assassin and thief classes and if you make their fur pure black and ware the dark brotherhood outfit they look really cool

My top three would go like this:

1. Redguard (yeah)
2. Bosmer (Wood Elf)
3. Altmer (High Elf)

Argonians!
First of all, they look the best
And they also have the best bonuses, such as water breathing, resistant to disease, immune to poison. No downfalls!

I agree breton is the best race.

I like Bretons. I like them because of the magic, which is something I enjoy. But, more importantly, I found from the description of them the Bretons are a lot like me in general. Curious, which I love, and eccentric, which I also love.

Since I am just restarting out in Obliv, my favorite char right now is a Khajiitess ... I have one called Mishtaarra who resembles an Abbysibian cat.

My new favorite race is Bosmer which I never played in Morrowind. So now in Oblivion there are deer to shoot, although I more often wind up just running around amongst them like the woods sprite that I am.

I like High Elves because they look so Elvish!
Dark Elves and Wood Elves just don't seem to do it for me.

Imperials. They make fine Romans (well, in Morrowind they did), and with some work can be turned into fine Greeks, both being my favorite civilizations of all times (Parthia is close to Rome, and Greece beats both, though that's off the point).

(I totally LOVE walking squeezing myself into a small alley and going all 'Into the Hot Gates we march. Into that narrow corridor, we march.' Pity there aren't any large round shields, spears (one-handed ones would've been even better), and, most importantly, crimson cloaks in Oblivion. That would've been awesome... I would SO make a 'Spartan' class. It would be lame, but still...)

i cant see y everyone hates them.but dark elfves are cool because at the beginin the guy in the cell opposite you starts sayin youl be dead and ill be in morrowind with your wife

I like to play as Altmers best, but as NPCs they're one of the most annoying IMO.

Dunmer, Nords and Altmer. Although I hear the Dunmer have lost their coolness in Oblivion, compared to Morrowind.

Argonians.
I mean they are speaking lizards, what else do you want?

I play mainly Female dunmers because you can make them light blue with a funny anime-like face and they look very comic in game.

Nord because they are so big and cool

Definitely Bosmer because:

1. They're just sooo cute!
2. They have the best looking (longest) elf ears
3. Their elf voice
4. The general look of their faces... so round and adorable
5. Their province... I love the descriptions of the cities of Valenwood, and I wish I could go there in Elder Scrolls 5.
6. Their height... I love the short guys
7. They're generally so friendly, cheerful, and enthusiastic
8. Their lore/culture (I've read every lore book there is about the Bosmer)

Imperial. They're balanced, and I can get one (on 360) to resmeble me to a freakish extent. I've found that there seem to be two groups of Elder Scrollers: Those who what to take themselves into a fantasy realm, and those who want to leave everything, incuding their physical selves, behind. I'm the former.

Nords and Bretons. I prefer them due to their physical resemblance to the "real" me.... And I tend to like any of my characters to have strength and endurance

Imperials, Argonians, Dark Elves and Bretons.

Though I only like the dunmer in Morrowind.

Yes, I do like Argonians. I like all of the races, except the Khajiit (it's a cat. A cat!) and the Orcs. i don't know why I don't like Orcs, I just don't.

I miss spears, Argonians used to be great when we had spears. However, they are now excellent assassins. Overall, the Argonians remain the best race.

First my favorit is dunmmer the race i hate is high elf becuse they think there high and mighty and i hate bosmer becuse there tree climers

Ayleds, dwarves, elementals and skin atronach (modded races that offer LOT of possibilities...)

Nords are the most playable for me, especially in oblivion. They are harder to use in morrowind but other than them I like the Redguards and thats only because i like the history and culture so much.

I like Dunmer the most. I usually always go with a Battlemage-esque character, and Dunmer works great for that. Plus Dunmer is the best race for vampires because of the fire resistance.

I've always liked Bosmer because they are short(like me!)and they are the best archers. My second favorite is Khajiit then Argonian. I don't know why but I've always liked the beast races...

I like playing as those pesky Wood Elves.

I would say my favorite race would be nord or orc because they are big and tough and strong and tall and i´m also those things so I think of myself when I make them, and i´m swedish so a + to the nords and the orcs are uglier so a + to the orcs.

My favourite race just has to be khajiit, you cant beet their accents and having the face of a cat

I like dark elves i dont really know why i just think there really cool looking with there red eyes and blue skin i was a high elf to one time i like them too not as much as dumner but the altmer are up there

omg im swedish too yea my brother said that whe're technically nords and i was like ew there ugly lol although some arent that bad looking they remind me of white orcs
