Amili and Melkaan, Tel Naga

Melkaan motioned both of his attendants, Virk and Amli, inside.

"I want one of you outside of my door at all times; you work out the shifts with each other; I don't care how it works as long as it does."

Amili nodded at each order, and when Melkaan was done, Left the room, Virk not far behind.

Once outside, Virk grabbed Amili's shoulder. "You get first watch." with that, he let go of her and continued walking.

Amili glared at Virk's back. We'll see how long you have that attidude, scum.

She reminded herself of what was to come, and it made her smile to herself.

New Vivec- Recovering from battle

Over the enxt few days New Vivec was silent, people did not leave their homes unless they had to, and if they did hurried about and made little conversation. Even though the enemy had not reached the city of vivec, people were begining to realize that the city could not always be at peace. The Halls of Justice was the few place bustling with life, officers met to discuss plans should the city be attacked, for the first time since the reconstruction, were the defenses of vivec being unveiled to mroe than a select few, though it was still only high ranked officials and only portions were revealed. Megil made no appearance over the few days, as statistics were brought up frot eh battle, 5,000 dead ordinators, much more than had been anticipated. Megil met with those ordinators of old vivec, and instructed them that they were to teach the enw ordinators how to properly fight in war, the city could not afford more losses in the defense. The construction crews had cleared the collapsed portion of vivec, and had begun reconstruction.

she quickly stripped, and looked around for her good clothes, if she was going to rally the people she better look good.

The Silhouette

The silhouettes worked their way around the perimiter of the city, and had split up, for not only goblins would come under their banner, but bandits, murderers, any who were chased by the law. An emissary was on his way to the telvanni city of sadrith mora, to talk to them...

Emissary: On shore of sadrith mora. "So this is the telvanni city is it?" hissed the silhouette who was sent on this mission. "Yeah this i...s is it" the sailors voice chilled at hearing the silhouettes voice "have a nice day sssir"

the silhouette dashed up the hill to tel nagath...

Over the few days the Morag Tong had been pretty boring. Nobody wanted any assassinations since everyone was still recovering from the recent battle.

Endris had recieved another messenger bringing news that the Balmora Morag Tong had also been razed, but by an unknown person. Because of this, Endris had unofficially declared the Morag Tong a Telvannic orginization. They were still accepting writs from other houses, but at an extraordinary price.

Meanwhile Endris was planning the assassination on Megil. However, he did not know the layoutof the Hall of Justice so he went there as far as a citzen was alowed to go....

Sul-Matuul

Sul-Matuul found himself not waiting to speak, he knew what he should say. it seemed Serene had paired him and Kaushad together simply as disagreers. "I have spoken to Kaushad, he understands that the younger generation wants to explore more. It is true of all cultures. It is part of the survival of the culture. Our ways, Serene, and preservation of those ways are our history, and therefore if we stop practicing the old ways we lose who we are. That is probably what he's most worried about, he see's what was once the Ashlanders is dying off to suit the new evironment we must adjust to, where two ashkhans are inexperienced however strong-willed they may be. He is also... to be sympathized. He is going through a very difficult time... mourning in a way, for the death of many things. A sign that he has finished mourning will probably be when he tells Sedrane about his blood.

"Serene, if you feel you should leave there is much more you can do for the world right now than sit in this dreary place. Most of our warriors are about ready to leave, and perhaps you, with Jonacin and your daughter, will want to explore the world again, maybe only to come back and report the state of the world to us."

Dalrus, Her Balmora Manor

Dalrus quickly pulled on a beautiful silk shirt, along with a lace skirt. She would have loved to admire her most expensive outfit, but realised that she needed to get to the town square really soon, else the people would start heading home. She slipped on two sandle dress shoes, and ran outside. She could hear the thousands of people packed into the city square, the entire population of balmora would be here, and she had to make a good speech.

There they were right before her, and after many other councilors introduced her she started with her speech...

"Men and women of the great house Hlaalu. Some of you have fled form the servitude of the evil house televanni, and we welcomed you, helped you build a new, suitable life in Hlaalu society. Others of you have abandoned house Redoran because you haven't met their "code of ethics"(or what ever they are called)," the crowd laughed at this "we of Hlaalu have welcomed you as well. We are all proud of the city we have built around us." Dalrus spread her arms showing balmora's splender. "But, alas, the two other houses are threatening our territory, our homes, and most of all our people. Citizens, I wont lie to you, the houses are practically at war, in everything but name." the crowed all looked to eachother and remarked a thing or two

"Stauros has just returned from the mighty city of Vivec were all the defiences and tretury are astounding! *There are brawls in the streets as well. It is our Divine given mission
to keep the other houses down and to do that we need a standing army. Some of you are thinking, 'we already have a guard' or something of the sort, but they are just the guard, to stay at the homefront, fighting off bandits, petty theives. We need to keep two whole houses in check. What we need to do is to rebuild fort moonmoth**.I assure you, you will not be oppressed for those in the army will be your own kin, your blood, not the Emporer's pets. They will know how you feel and uphold the dignity of an army and let us claim the respect we deserve."

The crowd roared in excitement at this, all 100,000 people of balmora cheered with all their might. The 10,000 guards from all the towns raised their weapons in pride, for they knew they'd be the elite soldiers. The next hour was even more exciting, food, and drink for all, and later, the draft, and then the army of balmora, would be ready, and stauros and dalrus could move onto the next city
Megil Tel-Zeke
Megil-New Vivec

the city bubbled with life once more for it was a beautiful day outside. The pastel toned city glittered and glowed in the sunlight, the ocean sparkling blue. Little remained of the battle scene, it had been cleaned and the land healed by magick. The damaged parts were now beginning reconstruction, curious passersby walked to the barricades and peered as huge block of granite, marble, and alabaster were brought into place by the large cranes that had been erected over the past few days. The newly opened dock had small ships from around Vvardenfell and beyond. Despite the attacks Vivec continued to function as if nothing occurred, already platforms were built out to see for the construction of the first seawall. A huge 40 foot thick and 50 foot high wall, that would also act as a barrack. Huge gates would perforate sections to allow the passage of ships into the dock within.

The training grounds of New Vivec were filled with Ordinators as they trained by the ordinators of old. They were to be brought to physical peak, trained to move quickly and to look for weaknesses in their opponents. They were also taught techniques for opposing enemy magick, Megil looked down on the training fields from a balcony in the HOJ, behind him was a room field with officials,

“They are progressing faster than expected, in a few weeks they will be in their prime. At least thats the fastest before they will be similar in skill as the old ordinators. It will take months to get them to be better. Also we have new recruits coming in from throughout Vvardenfell, if we can even get a quarter of them to pass the Ordinator trials, we will more than make up the losses of the battle.” the Chief ordinator reported. Megil turned around to look at the men,

“That is good, The ordinators are more symbological than efficient, we need a new group of fighters, that are agile in battle and not weighed down by such heavy armor. I already have in mind a group who can teach the new group to be so agile, they will be like a flow like water in battle. I want those who fail the ordinator tests to be put under training as the new faction. Those that survive the training will form the new elite defense of vivec.”

The officials hid their surprise but agreed with Megil. The meeting was dismissed and Megil left to go inform the sylphs that their three best fighters would soon be teaching a new style to the men. After much debate they agreed, the sylphs battle technique had yet to be encountered by Vvardenfell so it would give Vivec an upper hand should it once again be attacked,

The defenses of the city were tested, the retractable bridges, and the magical shields tested. The pumps in the outer walls checked to ensure that entry through the sewers would be nigh impossible, since they could be flushed and flooded.

Zergonipal

Serene sat silent, just listening to Sul-Matuul, she knew he had a point, the future of the ashlanders was dependent of both the ancient ways and the newer ones, that was the state of art and she accepted it....almost. But she had cyrodiilic blood in her veins, as well as other, to her yet unknown, and thus she could accept but not fully understand the thoughts of Sul-Matuul. She losed her eyes and made a very subtle attempt to get closer to his thoughts, but she couldnt really comprehend what she sensed....so she just let go.

"I would prefer not to leave" she said, "I imagine you will need my skills if thereīs going to be fighting. You know of my healing-skills, and I think they can be of use..."

She ponered for a while, then continued

"You mentioned hard times for Kaushad?, that he was mourning some death? Now can yopu tell me a bit more....so I can understand his actions better.."

She was a bit stunned how she reacted on the older manīs actions..she felt calm and relaxed now....what magic had he used on her? maybe the magic of great wisdom....?

Stauros->Balmora

Stauros was somewhat shocked when Dalrus gave him a hug, it wasn't bad, it was just unexpected. He nodded and headed over to some guards and found a scribe,

"Okay I want you three to set up a booth about there." Stauros pointed to some corner of the town square. "I want you to start a draft, no elderly people, no younglings, if it is a person of questionable ability consult the guards and talk it over with them. I want The person's name, If they can read place an "R" after their name, if they can write place a "w". I also want their residence. Also tell them that they will be expected to help rebuild the fort as well. Did you get all of that?"

The scribe nodded his head with enthusiasm(sp?) and the group walked off to the corner. Stauros rallyed a few more guards to keep order and to see that no brawls broke out. Stauros jogged to catch up to Dalrus and said, "Well thats all taken care of, now were to?"

Falx observed the bustling of city traffic, it brought joy to him that it was back. Megil was not the only that put sweat and blood in its rebuilding.

He continued on, untill he reached the Hall of Justice stopping only to admire the vast columns that were erected to commemorate the end of Arkyact.. and the empire in Vvardenfell.

Inside however, seemed the stark opposite. The walls were more utilitarion in fashion. More efficient, less actractive, yet not in a displeasing way.

Falx stepped up to the desk by the door of Megil's office. "Good morning mam, do you know if Lord Megil is busy at the moment?"

She mumbled something about a meeting and then looked up, "Oh Captain, I'll see if he's available."

Stauro and Dalrus reached the Inn and walked in (the inn tongue.gif). Inside the festivities were still going strong and Stauros and Dalrus got many cheers before they got to a table and the waiter was there to take their order.

The water came up to the table and placed one of the most expensive drinks on the table, "On the house, you both have done much to increase the profits tonight. What will you have?"

Stauros Smiled when they got the drink, "thank you, I would like some NIx hound stew and a side order of the main dish for the night."

The waited nodded and turned to Dalru, "Madam, what would you like?".

The agent left, and he pondered it for a while. "If the morag tong wish to work for Telvanni, then both factions may die together. Asthul! Bring me the leader of house Redoran!"

Isaarin grinned happily. As long as he used his strengths and understood his weaknesses, he was unstoppable. Wred entered the office.

"Wred Halius, how was the battle?"

"Awful, many guards were killed. They were defeated."

"I'll swing it to get some publicity. Those guards were sacrificed for the great city of New Vivec, remember that. You are a hero now. Your fame has already grown quite a bit because of your actions at the battlefield. Beautiful alibi, no?"

"I suppose so," said Wred. His mind was still on the mysterious debt he owed to the one that helped him escape Megil's madhouse.

"Well excellent, I want you to start the new recruiting drive for Hlaalu's army in New Vivec personally. What can they do? Megil's dug his own grave by allowing the Legion to recruit here. If they can, we shall do the same, and with you being one of the men of the hour, we're sure to pull them in in folds."

"Wait, Hlaalu's building an army?" asked Wred.

"Oh! Most definitely! I've already talked to Stauros and the other Council-members about it. It's a finished deal."

Sadrith Mora

En'Fel scribbled his note underneath the tent he set up in the outskirts of Sadrith Mora:

Amili,
I'm here, meet me in the alley behind the docks, it's a safe place. Meet whenever you will not be followed, I'll be there.

En'Fel took the note and took another trip back to the city. He entered a library and walked to a spell-book section out of view of the librarian. He slid the note between two books about fire, and carefully cast a frosting spell around it in a circle, so a diameter of about 6 inches of frost surounded the note.

Sul-Matuul

"It's not really your concern Serene, but I understand you show interest. Anyway, Kaushad is in charge here, so I'm off, but thank you for this talk. I need to scout out the land a little more." Sul-Matuul shook her hand and turned.

Raavin entered Isaarin's office, flanked by two ebony clad bodyguards, he wore a robe himself, which obscured if he wore armor or notm but from his footsteps it was simple enough to tell he was wearing armor-boots or just heavy leather ones.

Zergonipal

After Sul-Mtuul just left without respondig to her last questions, Serene decided that she has had enough of stubborn old ashkans.....She went to look for Jonacin and Leni...urging for some love and understanding.....what a lucky woman she was having a husband like Jonacin..always understanding and caring..besides..the way he was with the child was overwhelming...Who would have thought a big sturdy redguard..the hero from the famous battle of Arcyakt would be such a wonderful father! Little Leni was her dadīs girl..she always turned to him in case of needs......Like she didnīt really knew her mother, no wonder, Jonacin spent so much time with her.....so much time.

Serene decided to really try to be more with her from now on...if only there would be a chance...she was worried about all this latest events.

She went into a small chamber with a shrine inside..lit some candles and sat down in order to establish contact with Athyn Sarethi....to find out about the redoran troups that he promised to send...

As she wandered trough the halls of the shrine she noticed a young man sitting leaning against the walls, eyes closed, looking as if he was praying....She didnīt recognize him at first but then she saw it was Sedrane Mirpal....

She stopped not knowing how to approach him..after all he was the Ashkan..but he surely didnīt look like one...he looked too sad and depressed for that.....

Athyn Sarethi

He walked slowly through the streets of vivec....when he came to New Vivec Inn he went inside, a glass of brandy would be excellent he thought. Inside he noticed a familiar face......was it? That young Dunmer over there....oh yes it was Sel....Sereneīs friend.,,He approached asking in a polite voice:

"Sel! nice to see you again, may I have a seat?"

Mistress Brara Morvayn
Aldīruhn, streets

The terrible rumours had just been heard in the Redoran Council, about someone blowing Morvayn Manor to pieces, Brara hurried away towards her former home, hoping that nobody was in the house at the event.

Arriving she saw nothing but a heap of stone and ashes where her lovely manor once had been.....she was stunned.....couldnīt say a word. A couple of gards and commoners were strolling around on the spot discussing what had happened, apparently nobody was in the house ,,there were no corpses found so far

Brara stood silent......for once not knowing what to do.......unless! She came to think of the mysterious mage living in town, Serene had spoken very well of him....maybe she should....?

She turned around and went to the Mageīs Tower....knocking at the door

"Is someone at home?" she shouted

"Megil, I must apologize for my lack of.. participation in the battle a few days ago. Rather dire circumstances kept me from contacting my legionnaires to fight on your behalf. Though I do know that several pockets of legionnaires did work to hold off the invaders, of that I am proud. Unfortionately it happens that they were of the veterans, not the that they can't fight, but I wished that the newer recruits were to gain some combat experience. However it seems not all battles are as easily won."

"To counter this mis-communication, or rather a complete breakdown of communication I would like to place someone here in the Hall of Justice as a liason(SP) for future events reguarding the security of New Vivec. Whether you've noticed or not, but many of these soldiers sing praises to your name Megil. After all, so far you are the only one that has given them a home in quite some time."

"Let me introduce myself, the names Raxle O'Conner, 5th Spearman of the Line, Gnisis Legion Outpost." Was that smart, telling them I'm part of the legion and all? Oh well.

"It is quite a pleasure to meet you Master Folvyn. Where do you hail from my friend?" Raxle went to prod at Athyn a bit.

Raavin, Isaarin's Office
Raavin nodded. "Is this a freindly warning Isaarin? Or something else?" he asked after a few moments consideration. "I, unlike the Hlaalu still have most of my guards hale and whole, and am a warrior myself. Which I have no doubt you know, for I slew the former leader of this House in a honorable duel."

"Of course you are, I have no doubt either of us can defend ourselves against a few attacks, maybe two, three, or four. The point is they will escalate, and they won't stop. It's not a question of if they could do it, but when. Remember, Ravvin, even the strongest warriors on Nirn has to sleep sometime. That's not even the real issue. The real issue is that now the Telvanni have substantial leverage, what with the well known rumor that my agents have confirmed that they've obliterated the Ashlanders.

"So Ravvin, I'm interested. See, we have here opportunity to turn this around on them. Megil Telzeke already distrusts all these factions, and I'm curious of a few things. For one, isn't it a little questionable about the defensive structures of this city? There's a khajiit in my prison whose admitted to being an agent for Megil Telzeke, and claimed that there is an entire undercity below New Vivec, which he knows nothing of. he swears though, that Megil probably has some other source of information deeper than just agents running around. What do you think, Ravvin?"

Isaarin took a sip of tea. "What do you think we could do to tear away all of Telvanni's political ties to New Vivec, that is in case you didn't know what I was hinting at."

Malik
Seyda Neen

Malik was dissapointed. He was progressively growing less creative in his killings. He wiped his knives off on his shirt and looked up at his work. Nobody would notice the bloody body hanging from the lighthouse until morning.

He felt oddly bored. Nothing was ever enough since the battle.

I need some more action in my life.... he thought to himself apatheticly

Realising it was not too long until the nearest watch happened by he scurried off into the night in pursuit of a more thrilling kill.

She sat down beside Sedrane, gently stroking his left arm--

"Whats wrong ? " she asked.."You care to tell me?"

"Ahhh, please child, leave me alone" Sedrane was definitely not in the mood of talking to anyone, besides things could get rough soon , and he didnīt fancy the idea of something happening to neither Kyara nor anyone else...

The silhouette had been outside of balmora for quite some time, he watched the goings on of the people and waited as the rest of the silhouettes gathered more orcs, and also awaited the goblin chieftains to come and meet with him. He left and emissary and decided to head towards vivec...

"Oblierated the ashalnders," Raavin muttered. "Not yet I believe, the Ashalanders are hardy folk, They're even better than Vvardenfell's vampires at coming back when though to be anihilated. And Yes, Megil must have more than informants, informants can't be everywhere at once, and if he has something else - its in that undercity. Megil's little hidden-in-plain-sight madhouse."

Isaarin Sithiln
New Vivec

"They're alive you say? Interesting... I'd like to know where, they're survival is key if we wish to topple to the Telvanni," said Isaarin. "But I couldn't help in that matter, though I could advise you. Anyway, here's what I'm getting at. Information is a greater guardian than the strongest armor. We need to form an alliance with Megil's city, and what with my sacrifices at Ebonhart and Telvanni's alliance with the Morag Tong, which is under the new leadership of a really cruel, dishonourable man I hear, it won't be difficult. All I'd ask from Megil Telzeke is information I can use to strengthen the forces I am building outside the city, as well as information to keep me a step ahead of Telvanni and the Morag Tong. If I use this information to say... pull a few strings and give me some more financial leverage along the way, its a simple side-effect. I'm letting you in on this as well, because I need you to plead your case too, to make it seem like we're just two houses trying to build ourselves up in defense against the oncoming threat."

Isaarin finished, took a sip of tea, then said, "Does this make sense to you?"
Kell-Reevor
Val-Jeer Streets of New Vivec

The days since the battle had been rough on him. Just at the brink of death, a healer had discovered him and spared him just enough magicka to keep him from dying. He spent the next day in a filthy cot among other wounded combatants. When the healers there finally reached him, the spared him a bit more of their magicka, then sent him on his way.

The rest of his healing had come along slowly, as he still had very little to eat; and the handful of Hlaalans he had been saving had vanished with his old clothes. Still, he couldn't help but admit that he liked the new ones better. They survived the battle without so much as a frayed strand of fabric. And the blood came out so easily... it didn't even leave a stain.

He slumped against the wall of a building; who knows or even cares which building. He slid to the ground and rested there, trying to comprehend how he was going to make some money. That came first, all the other crap would have to wait.

A coin landed before him, ripping him from his thoughts.

The hell?

As he reached for it, another fell from the hand of a passerby.

No way I look like a pauper in this outfit...

Of course, in these days he could easily be mistaken for a noble that had fallen onto hard times. He accepted that explanation and took the two coins. Another passerby came into view.

"Spare some change good sir?"

Two coins landed before him. Val took them with a grin.

Dane
Streets of New Vivec

Dane walked down the streets with his hands in his pockets. He had been doing moderately well in the way of money since he arrived, but without the action of the mercenary life he just felt bored.

As he walked he saw an argonian beggar by the side of a building. This argonian looked familiar though... Suddenly it came to him, this was the legionarre he had saved from the Hlaalu guards before the drunken haze.

"What the hell are you doing here, empire goon?" he said with bitter contempt in his voice.

Malik
Peligiad

Malik had easily taken to the traveling life. It was easier than skulking in single cities and he didn't have to deal with growing to attached to any one city he'd inhabit. Since the earlier morning he'd been traveling and had finally reached Peligiad. It was a ghost town since the Imperials had fell from power, and the wreckage suited well for a hide out.

He would use this as a base of operations and terrorize any travelers that happened by as well as the citizens of the nearby Balmora.
Kell-Reevor
Val-Jeer Streets of New Vivec

Let's see...

Ah there it was. The sight of him suddenly made Val want a drink more than any food; something hard that would leave him out for a long... long... time.

He stood up and faced the man he had met before.

I don't work the Empire anymore. You honoured user. You half-breed piece of guar crap.

So many things he could say to him, yet all he could manage was a barely audible:

"I'own know.."

What the hell was that?

Intestinal Chaos
Dane
New Vivec Streets

"What?" was all Dane could say, greatly confused by this legionarre's utter lack of a coherent retort.

The quick possibility that it could be in Argonian crossed his mind, but he decided against it.

"You damn legionarres are all the same!, You just sit here on our street corners and soak up the charity of the city until you become fat and bloated. It's low, even for a legionarre, to dress up and impersonate a beggar." He snapped while thrusting his finger into the lizard's chest.

Malik
Peligiad

It hadn't been long until an unguarded nobleman happened by.

"This is wonderful!, now I can occupy myself during this long afternoon!" Malik said with a smile to himself.

He crept out of the side of the tavern window and stalked down to the road in front of the city, the nobleman's back to him. As Malik crept along the Nobleman had no idea what was about to befall him.

Malik pounced on the Noble's back and repeatedly beat him on the back of the head. The nobleman gave a yelp and fell to the ground, uncouncious. Malik giggled happily and dragged the nobelman off to the ruin of the old fort and an almost certain afternoon of torture until his inevitable death.
Kell-Reevor
Val-Jeer Streets of New Vivec

It was hard to ignore the pleasant images in his mind. The thought of taking that arm, ripping it off, and feeding it to that sack of crap almost put another grin on his face. But there was something else... something trying to rise within him. That hate he had for the man in front of him... it was growing to a hate for all things.

The little lights that resembled fireflies once again made their appearence. Whisking about Val's body, lighting occasionally then fading. With them came a memory. He supressed it though, he would have time to worry about it later.

His injuries may not be fatal anymore, but they were still there. His body simply couldn't keep up with what he wanted it to do. But, he still found the strength the speak this time.

"I don't work for the legion anymore, scumbag." His gaze fell to the finger still poking his chest. "And don't touch the outfit."

It was bad enough he insulted it by claiming he dressed like a beggar, but now he was touching it. That was a no-no.
Intestinal Chaos
Dane
Streets of New Vivec

"I'm suppose to belive the lies of a dirty legion-lover like you!?!?" he spat with anger. He was seriously insulted that this lizard thought he was dumb enough to fall for that.

"And I'll touch your dirty rags all I feel like, you pompous boat" <---(Subtitute boat for the unkinder version of butt)

He felt his face reddening as he lost control. He knew this argument would surely result in violence.
Kell-Reevor
Val-Jeer Streets of New Vivec

He snapped. He would have certainly heard something along the lines of glass breaking if he could still think, but he couldn't. Val-Jeer was gone. The thing which threatened to destroy him had returned. It happened so fast... a shock of pain through his body, a ring in his ears, then pure hate.

With a growl, his arm darted forward for the man's neck, reopening the hole in his shoulder. Blood soaked through the white coat and ran along his arm.

His eyes were a souless coal black.

Dane

Dane was alarmed by the sudden change in the Argonian, still it mattered nothing.
As the Argonian had him by the throat he reached out and decked it in the side of its reptilian face in an attempt to break his hold.

Malik
Fort Peligiad

Malik was in a fit of laughter. The nobleman, who had no lower jaw anymore, was screaming in agony and the sound was reverberating off the stone walls of the empty fort. Torture was one of his favorite activities and he would make sure this one lasted the whole day.
Kell-Reevor
Val-Jeer Streets of New Vivec

His knuckles cracked as his hand jerked open, releasing the man. It wasn't the blow he recieved that did it. It was something inside him. His body was engulfed in a wave of hot agony as he doubled over.

With a serious of heaving coughs, he retched out a considerable amount of blood. For a moment, he simply kneeled there over the puddle.

Then he rose again. His once clean white longcoat now soaked red.

He rested his hand on the sword across the small of his back, growling with rage.
Intestinal Chaos
Dane
Streets of New Vivec

Dane didn't think he had hit the Argonian that hard. None the less the Argonian had stood up again and had his hand on his sword.

Dane was willing to oblige and he drew his sword just to be ready. The people scattered about as this battle came to a start. The guards would surely be there soon, but this hadn't come to Dane's mind at all.
Kell-Reevor
Val-Jeer Streets of New Vivec

Val never took his black eyes from his opponent.

In a flash, he ripped the sword from it's sheath. It squealed as the silver blade came free. He held the weapon upside down, his fist over his chest and his other hand supporting the pommel as he aimed the tip at his opponent.

The lights flickered simultaneously as he leaped forward.
Intestinal Chaos
Dane
Streets of New Vivec

Dane wasn't prepared for combat, but at least he had a blade. He swept his sword up and parried the Argonian's strike.

"So it's to the death is it?!?" he said with anticipation. This was the sort of action he'd been waiting for.

The guards on the otherhand had just begun to be alerted. The squealing people of New Vivec had more than tipped them off. The Ordinators rushed off to quell this sudden brawl.
Kell-Reevor
Val-Jeer, Streets of New Vivec

Val couldn't hear him. He landed and spun about, the blade howling as it cut in a wide arc.

It had before taken some time for the hateful dead to take control of their conduit to this world, but with someone Val had already detested openly insulting him it was much easier for them to sieze him. This, paired with his still present injuries, was taking it's toll at an alarming rate.
