as Wred turned the corner he saw in front of him three beatiful women washing clothes by the water. on held in her arms a large vase of water that she was pouring gently into the clothes below, the others cleaned. of to the side another sylph sat playing a lute, they giggled as the saw Wred approach.
Megil-front gate, New Vivec
Megil was sitting of to the side of the main entrance plaza out of view from most angles. he was thinking over the past few weeks and how his entire city now stood on the verge of chaos, Megil was doing all he could to keep the peace, but everyone even his friends seemed determined to destroy it.
What am I to do, I try and give the people of this island a jewel and instead of treasuing it, they are greedily trying to claim it for themselves. I have faith in the defenses of the city, but even I know they aren't fool proof. of course it is stil to early for any group to understand the complexities of the city, the sheer time ad energy put into building the defenses comprised over 80% of the total time spent on the city. Several tacticians looked over it for loopholes and to create failsafes. engineers looked at it for structural soundness and practicality. of course only portions were revealed no ne person apart from megil go to see the enitre structure that was the megalopolis of New Vivec. To think the current city was nothing compared to the work yet t be completed. it would extend out into the inner sea like a spire. and spread outwards in rings. No one knew that the current hall of justice was a temporary setting and would later house a subsidiary. the central palace of Vivec, a trully grand structre, nearly the sixe of the current city. would house everything that run this city.
Megil was brought out of thought by a familiar voice, it was awoman's voice and it sounded most familiar yet it had been a while since megil had heard it. he stood up and walked down fro his hiding place to see a beautiful nord, no doubt Serene and Sel's frail form. he did not approach but simply leaned against the wall and watched them.
Ordinator-Front gate
"I beg your pardon miss, but that is confidential information..." the guard said as he turned, but his jaw nearly hit the ground when he saw serene.
"I beg your pardon mistress, lord megil is just over there." he said with a quick bow and then nodded in Megil's direction.

Undercity
Wred slowly began shifting his way around a bend. The colors were less creepy now that we was used to them, and they actually lit the canal up so he could see where he was going. He relaxed himself, knowing he would have to conserve his energy if he wanted to face the Madness of Megil.
Then he heard music, and his heart began to quicken a bit. Music was always creepy in a deserted canal when there is no source. His eyes looked ahead as he finished the bend and gazed upon the edge of the canal infront. There were three gorgeous blue women with lovely long hair and prominent bosoms, giggling. He was terrified.
Gently he came forward, his boat rocking against the water, until he hit the edge of the canal where the plank stood with nothing more than a little chain. He grabbed it lightly, expecting some disaster, and used it to pull him close so he could tie down his boat. With one deep breath he grabbed his broadsword and his vial, and stepped out of the canoe, to the edge, to the women who sat giggling, so inviting. He knelt to them with his head down, laying his sword, pocketing his vial.
"I am Wred Halius, I mean you no harm," he whispered. Please don't scream or call your men.

Sylphs
The women looked up fro their task.
"harm? why would we ever think a handsome man like yourself could mean us any harm."
the sylph on lying on the ground stood up gracefully, the semi transparency of her dress making itself obvious. she carried in ehr hand a goblet,
"may we offer you a drink?"
as she said this the second sylph poured the liquid into the goblet.

Serene at the Gates of New Vivec
Just before the ordinator even made an effort to answer her Serene heard a most familiar and most welcom "Hallo" behind her.
Both she and Athyn turned around....and seeing Sel there pleased Athyn as much as herself she noticed
"Ha, they know each other! Thatīs very fortunate"
"Selenil!" Athyn Sarethi smiled happily and stretched out his hand, "Iīs so good to see you here, what have you been up to since the last time we met ?"
"Sel!" Serene laughed with joy, "You? Here?..why that is great..are you going to visit Megil?..Ahh what a wonderful city heīs made here....."
Serene gave Sel a quick but warm embrace..still smiling when she heard the ordinator say that Megilīs whereabouts were confidential..but then as he recognised who she was he merely showed in the direction of the big plaza inside......and there was a man standing there in the shadows but Serene knew it had to be her old friend
"Megil!!!!" she called, "How wonderful to meet you again!"

"likewise serene, and Sel. So what brings you to this wondrous city? I hope you arewn't trying to instigate chaos, like anthanes has already tried."
he said coldly. inside he was glad to see them but still he could't help but feel distant since even friends had tried to tear through the city.

Somehow Megil had been disappointed......of someone or ....then she shrugged, she saw danger..like a black aura that engulfed Megil....she could hardly prevent from screaming out loud

Megil looked into Serene's eyes.
"You see it too then." he said, knowing Serene would know what he spoke of.
"Well I apologize for the current inconvenience, if you should choose to pledge sevice in th preservation of this city I can see to it that your magicka be returned to you. If you do not you will simply have to deal with the inconvenience. an old friend stand outside those sealed gates, perhaps you remember him, the mad man who attacked Ald Daedroth. seems he still lives and is madder than ever."

Sel, Gates of New Vivec
Sel didn't say anything about Anthanes; while he had unorthodox ways of doing things, they were usually well-intentioned ever since the Ald Daedroth incident. He would hear both sides of the story before passing any judgement on Megil or Anthanes.
He didn't think about it very long; it was probably just a pettty squabble that they were overreacting to.
"Nice place." Sel complimented Megil. "Do we get to see the inside?" Sel asked, ready to be moving along.

He looked back at Megil. "Want to join us?" Megil was probably too busy, but it was worth a try...
Akar, New vivec
Akar woke up a few minutes later and walked out of his room after locking and closing the door.
As he put the key in his pocket, he began his search again. He decided that he would just continue checking back at the common area; what better place was there in such a huge city to find someone?
He stood off to the side of the main gate so that he could see who entered and who left the city.

Endris -- New Vivec
Endris stepped out of the weaponsmith in the Redoran District. Under his belt was what appeared to be a Daedic Katana, but it was a bit thin for a sword, and not sharpened at all. The weapon was in fact, the base of the sword. It was going to have an outter layer of a steel-silver alloy to keep the blade light, sharp, and to give it a more reflective quality. The Daedric material was only there to keep it strong.
Endris -- Hlaalu District
Endris stepped through the door of a different weaponsmith; a friend of his from a while back. He greeted the smith and layed the Daedric sword on the counter and told the man what was to be done. Since Endris' order was called ahead, the material for the outter layer of the blade was ready to be molded. So what was left of the process would take a reletively short amount of time.
Endris -- Wherever...(if someone would like to spot Endris, feel free to do so because he could be anywhere out in the open)
Endris stepped out of the shop and wandered New Vivec aimlessly...

Endris spotted a familiar face dressed in rich clothing. Vaska? No, he doesn't dress like that... Then Endris saw the man dodge into an alley and he grew a bit more suspicious. He walked quickly over to the alley, but saw no one there so he returned to wandering.
Again he outstretched his arm to see that he was a still a little shakey. Out of curiosity he attempted to cast an invisibility spell but it fizzled (or fuzzled or whatever how you say it). Endris came to the conclusion that a defense system of Vivec had kicked in. This sort of thing had happened before, but rarely... He dismissed the idea and continued walking.

Lykaon, New Vivec"Lost him..." Lykaon muttered as he looked into the water around New Vivec. From what he heard, Dalrus' 'charming' thief had fallen in the water somehow. That meant one of four fates had befallen him. The first and most likely was he had fallen and drowned, the second most likely was that he had fallen and survived, likely by teleportation or washed to the shore, third was he had fallen was drawn into the inner sea and drowned there, and fourth, he was drowned and his corpse washed ashore. Neither of the options really seemed attractive, as all made it exceptionally hard to find the man.
Lykaon didn't feel like checking the coastline for a man who could have been long gone by now. But, if he came back into New Vivec he might be able to find him. He had the man's description. Lykaon snorted, having something with the man's scent would have been so much easier.
QUOTE
... He dismissed the idea and continued walking.
Lykaon moved away from the edge of the Canton/platform (whatever the hell the area of New Vivec are called..) and turned to see the Grandmaster of the Morag Tong admist the crowds of New Vivec. Unusual one so suited to the shadows would be out here in broad daylight. Beneath his gleaming helmet Lykaon grinned, the Dunmer looked old-ish for a Dunmer, but that was only a testament to his skill. Assassins rarely lived long lives, those that did were to be respected.

En'Fel
New VivecEn'Fel's preparation was complete. Over the last couple days he had been doing odd jobs for money and spending that mony on clothing, food and a place to stay.
Now he was centering himself. It would be a long, hard trial ahead. He was confident he could accomplish it. If history had taught him anything it's that you can kill anyone (

). He couldn't help but be nervous though. He hadn't done a ritualistic centering in months now anyway, and found it the perfect time.
To ease himself into meditation, he focused on unbraiding and rebraiding his hair, They were loose before, but now they were tight and slick, and fell to about mid chest. A good wind would make them dance sporadically, and his silhouette in the wind looked terribly ominous. His braids were a symbol of who he was. They made him unique. He thrived on uniqueness, it made him unforgetable. It made him recognizable. That and his uncanny ability to kill someone made him infamous.
Once he was in meditation, he opened his brain up for input. Though his people worshipped their ancestors, En'Fel worshipped himself a bit more, fantasizing two hundred years from now his people would be drawing strength from him. During his meditation, for a fleeting instance his strong egotism would leave him, and he would be a pupil.
En'Fel is an unnatural name for you, but you are an unnatural mer. Kaushad's brother, your father, died shortly after you were born and left both you and your brother alone. You didn't know what happened. You were only given a brief explanation from your jealous Uncle. Kaushad, jealous that he, such a great warrior, was given a wimpy young child. His brother, a tall and intelligent Dunmer was not even made Kulakhan and yet Kaushad was jealous that he had two great warriors for sons. Kaushad could be as strong-willed and powerful as he wanted, but it did not change who his son was. Though he had another son oblivious to his father's identidy.
You and Kaushad are so similar. He wanted to immortalize himself with a strong family line. You want to immortalize yourself with legendary deeds. In recognition that his child was not as he hoped, he bestowed suffering upon you and your brother, he was bitter toward you, jealous of you. En'Fel, to accomplish your goals, to allow your deed to be accomplished at the magnitude you dream of, to immortalize yourself in history, how far will you go?
Kaushad never told you what happened after your father died, because he was ashamed. Your brother did not want to think of it. When you are ready, you will know.
For the moment, before you leave you have a tie up a few loose ends...En'Fel stood up, put on some common black pants and shirt, stuck his katana in his belt, put on his amulet and left. He headed for the New Vivec Gate, where he had a feeling his loose ends would be.

) but no tail is visible.
IC:
Lykaon, New Vivec Lykaon's stare wasn't like that of any other person, or even that of a Ordinator. At least Ordinator's helmets had no glass lenses and you could clearly see the firey-red eyes of a Dunmer ordinator shadowed within the helm. The lenses of the Wolf-head helm however were unreadable and impossible to see into, but fine to see out of. The golden Wolf-head of the helm didn't help ease the emotionlessness with its clearly defined and unmoving features. It was unnerving, like being watched by a centurion or other Dwemer creation. Endris couldn't see the grin Lykaon made as he picked up Endris' worry.
He's perceptive enough, he seems to realize I've recognized him. Very good. Not many can read that when someone's wrapped in armor like me...

Akar saw his mother and En'fel at the same time. He stood, undecided at first as to who he should go to first. When he htought it out, he decided that he would go to En'fel; Serene would always be easy to spot. She was famous after all.
"How did you get here?" Akar asked as he walked up behind the ashlander.
Sel, New Vivec
"I may take you up on that offer, Megil, but not yet; it hasn't been a week." he explained. Or had it? The days seemed to run together recently, what with following that Ced character around half the world...
He could smell adventure nearby though, and that was enough to make up his mind for him. He missed Celia and Triel, but he couldn't resist the temptation of another adventure. You couldn't really miss adventure anyway when you hung out with people like Serene and Megil, so he wouldn't be much longer...
"Did you happen to build another Arena when you made this city?" Sel asked Megil, a tempting idea making its way into his head.

Relax, Endris you're overreacting. He's a fighter alright, I can tell be the way he stands. Just keep walking, Endris. Wait for him to make a move. You shouldn't be out in the daylight like this. "Serjo Endris," Lykaon said, stepping closer. Like the stare, there was a unnerving factor to Lykaon talking became the helmet, ude to its appearance, didn't seem so much a helmet as a unmoving face. Lykaon's deep voice had both a metallic undertone from speaking through the mask and deep rumbling, like a growl. "I hear talk of tension forming between you and Serjo Megil, why is that?" he asked. Behind the desk in the center of the round room was a stone table, likewise carved with incantation and having soulgsems lying around in special locations of the room following some master magical working, glowing silver threads formed circular and angular patterns on the table top.

(prepare for the best post ever)
Wred finished a sip, and allowed a hand offered to him to bring him back to his feet and lead him around. Suddenly he felt a calm wash over him, and his eyes drooped. Everything seemed calmer, like there was nothing to worry about. He followed the giggling girl to the bed, and smiled. He would be getting with a woman for the first time in three years. What a wonderful life, what a wonderful happening down in the eerie Canal. What a peaceful ending to his voyage through Megil's Madness.
Wred blinked and struggled to break loose from this calming world he found himself locked in. Megil's Madness, he was in it. It felt like a lucid dream, and yet no matter how much he struggled he couldn't stop himself from being led to the bed with a stupid grin.
Break free! Wred demanded to himself. Break free!
He let out a loud, defiant cough, and let go of her hand, falling to the ground, barely able to use his hands to catch himself. He felt himself about to vomit.
Yes! Please! Please vomit!
"I am a warrior," he whispered, his sleeping vocal chords barely making a sound. "I am a fighter," he told himself. and the potion sat, unsettled in his stomache. It was already working, he'd be out in seconds. "This is a war," he muttered, his vocal chords even lower. "This is a battle between Megil and myself. If I can defeat his creation, I can..."
He stumbled upon it. What could he do? What would he be able to do?
Please Stendarr, please don't let me fall asleep, he prayed. Please do not leave me in their custody.
At this point he was completely paralyzed, and existed as little more than a mind grasping onto awakeness, fighting against the onsetting dreamworld. It would not last much longer. Please Stendarr, please. I will do anything, I will do anything!
There was nothing for him. He felt himself being lifted up and walked the rest of the way to the bed. He still heard the giggling, but there was not a slightly malevolent undertone that wasn't there before
I will conquer anything, I will help the sick, I will walk a million miles, just don't leave me vulnerable. I will do anything!
You will not find help from the Aedra you worshipped out of guilt, came a mysterious voice.
Stendarr? Wred asked the void.
Guess again, the voice cackled within his head. Do you pledge a debt to me if I intervene for you?
Wred could not do it anymore. He was laid on the comfortable bed, and his stupid grin returned. He only managed to think one thing before he went. Yes.

Arneth
Vvardenfell
Near Red Mountains Region, Ald'RuhnIn the blink of an eye Megil had teleported Arneth and the others back to Ald'Ruhn. Arneth looked around for a wall he could punch his fist right into. Arneth turned fast away and looked over at the direction of Khuul while he was talking to himself.
He needed to get back to New Vivec, but it looked like Megil wasn't the one he should look for now if he needed help...
He grabbed his backpack and took a fast walk out of Ald'Ruhn against Khuul. He knew it was time to gather his men and get to New Vivec.
Entering the hidden cave not far from Khuul he met up with the others who was left. Strapping his Ebony Armor on while taking a fast brief with the others. He knew Isaarin had both diplomatic power, and he had the Tong working for him for all he knew. One of the mages from Mage's Guild that had joined Arneth got them teleported to one of their small hiding places on the Islands right of New Vivec. Arneth walked up to the shore of the Island where he could see all the way to New Vivec. He took his scrolls and placed them in the pouches on his belt, he took on his Battle Gauntlets, his Spell Shield amulet, Ring of the Warrior and took the helmet in his sack hanging by his side...
"Stay here, I'll see what I can manage doing alone and I will call on you if I need help" Arneth said to the others before he started taking the long way from the Island and against New Vivec.
---
Battle Gauntlets; Something Arneth made with his craftman skills, enchanted Ebony gauntlets that gives him extra strength and accuracy to his strikes with his sword...
Spell Shield; A amulet a dear friend of Arneth made to him. It has a very powerful spell resistance and is made out of Ebony with a shield on made out of crystals.
Ring of the Warrior; A ring he has given after winning the Warrior Trials. Just a very simple but big gold ring with a sword on. Pretty known item for most people, at least in Vivec. Have a powerful enchantment that still is unkown to Arneth...

Well, I better go get some equipment, and that sort of stuff." Cal walked away into the sandy town, looking to buy some minor potions and food, before heading into the wilderness.

En'Fel
New Vivec
En'Fel paused at hearing the voice behind him.
"What a useless question," he said. "How is not important, it's why, and frankly it's too crowded to go into that."

Anthanes - Ald'ruhn
"I'll meet you in Ald'ruhn" , Anthanes said to the two departing legionaries. His attention was then caught by smoke rising from somewhere in town.
"Azura in a guarskin thong!" , Anthanes cursed when he realized it was Morvayn Manor on fire. Gulping one of the magicka-restoring potions he always carried around - but had forgotten about in his rage - the half-dunmer ran off towards the manor.

Akar, New Vivec
Akar held back a snicker; he had forgotten how utterly serious and often cold Ne'fel could be.
"Fine," he replied. "Might we go somewhere where we can dicuss this? There is something important going on; Serene has been having visions of some sort of flaming lady."
He stopped for a second, as mentioning Serene made him remember the new power he had. He almos got lost in the swirling chaos of the thoughts around him. but it was possible to ignore them, he now knoew; he had even forgotten that he had the ability! He soon quieted the voices in his head, and looked back at En'fel. How long had he been standing there?
Sel, New Vivec
Sel followed Serene, Athyn and Megil after marking the locataion of the Arena. When they stopped, he looked around at all of the alchemical tools lying around, and at the old woman busy working at them.
"Paraniod are we?" Sel asked with a smirk on his face.

Serene New Vivec, in the company of Megil and Athyn Sarethi
Serene looked at the complicated yet beautiful tattoo on Megilīs back......it was glowing with an eerie light. She pondered over this, as did Athyn, then she turned to Megil saying:
"So being marked with this strange tattoo will give me my magicka back,,.....what else will it do for me?"
Then the woman in her came forward and she smiled happily and asked where Megil would like her to be tattoed
" On the lower part of my back, ...or on my left breast.....oh I donīt know really" Serene giggled......
"What is this really about.....Megil really is deeper that I thought"

"A mercenary? How do I know you're not working for Megil? As of now there are only two people I trust in this operation, do you think you can be the third? Doubtful. I don't let complete strangers in on the Morag Tong's affairs. Can you even fight?" Endris asked. He was quite suspicious of this man for he had just walked up to him and asked him for info on the Morag Tong's assassinations.
Dalrus, New vivec
Dalrus was no stranger to the morag tong and their leader, for she had done more then enough "business" with them. "ahh there you are Lykaon, why are you talking with him?"

Cedris, Ald'ruhn
Cedris wathced gleefully as the building started to collapse, aiding the fire with an assortment of spells.
It was burning much faster than it would if the fire had been natural.
He chuckled, was there anyone inside? Hopefully.
Amroth, New Vivec
"Excuse me sir, but are there any papers I need to fill out?" Amroth said impatiently waiting for a response.

Lykaon, New Vivec "Of course I can," Lykaon said simply to Endris, in response to his questioning of Lykaon's ability to fight. "And you just told yourself why you can know I'm not working for Megil. Mercenaries bow before no king, lord, or master. Can I be the third? Hehe, Can you pull off such a daring act with but two people?"

"Because your theif seems to have fallen into the waters of new Vivec. He could be dead, in which case his body is either on the ocean floor somewhere, or on the coastline, and if he lives he fled further into Vvardenfell, tracking him would prove to be impossible, unless he returns to New Vivec."

Anara, Ald'Ruhn Anara restrained a ggigle at 'Azura in a guar-skin thong', it was a rather amsuing mental image afterall, and followed after Anthanes. She mentally cursed. Fires in ashalands were hard to put out unless you had magicka and knew frost spells, or could throw a lot of ash on the fire to suffocate it. Luckily, there was plenty of both.

He's got a point.... "True, but this is not the place to discuss this. If you would like we could go back to the Morag Tong, but if you'll excuse me I have a sword to pick up. You may wish to follow me, I'll be going back to the guild shortly."
With that Endris returned to the weaponsmith he had recently visited. The owner handed him a sword in its sheath wrapped in cloth. Endris did not unwrap the sword there, instead he put it under his arm and began walking towards the Morag Tong...

Lykaon. New Vivec
Lykaon silently followed Endris. Well, silent except for the soft rythmic clanking of his armor, and the sounds of his cloak rustling in the wind. To the lair of the Morag Tong. To the lair of the worshipers of the Webspinner Mephala... Lykaon thought to himself. Who's sphere, though obscured, concerns murder...

Endris lead Lykaon into his office. The guildmates gave the strange man awkward stares and glances but he was obviously unphased by them. Endris shut the door behind them, sat down at his desk and gestured to the chair on the other end of it. "Please, sit..... So, do you ever take off your helmet?" he asked outloud while pulling out a piece of parchment and beginning to write on it.

"No," Lykaon said as he sat. "Not in public at least. There are very few that get to see me without it, and many of those are dead." He glanced at the parchment.

"I see... How long have you been in Vivec?" Endris asked, although this was simply small talk to throw off any listeners. He slid the piece of parchment across the table along with the ink pen.
The small talk is to fool any eve-droppers. We have had a problem with them recently. Judging by your armor you appear to be suited to heavy combat situations--a quality assassins tend to lack. I could definately use someone like yourself in the assassination. And of course you would be rewarded.
Endris was still careful not to mention Megil's name, even on the parchment.

"A few days or so," Lykaon said, writing on the paper with the pen, and slid it back.

"You push a hard bargain. I will pay under one condition..." Endris drew his newly acquired sword swiftly and swung it horizontaly(sp) across the table at Lykaon. It whistled cleanly through the air like a new sword should. It was not yet the Blackhand sword he wanted for it was missing a few enchantments, but Endris figured this was the best time for a test run.

"you intolerable wretch" she said to lykaon after he left, "you will pay for this" with that she stormed off to her home, to practice her already powerful magic skills. Then she would find megil and tell him what had happened

Lykaon stopped the blade with his guantlet, and no matter how much force Endris poured into the blade, the hand would not move. The armor would damage slightly from a high power swing, but that was it.

Endris smiled, and that smile turned into a laugh. "Very good! Had an ordanary man blocked that he wouldn't have done it with his hand. On top of that you kept your cool even after the attack. Anyone else would probably demand an explanation," he said withdrawing his sword and examining it, "Scratchless. Tis a fine blade, is it not?" He said lying the sword on the desk.
It glimmered in the candle light still the ordinary steel sparkle of most swords, but soon that would change.
"25 it is then. Keep in mind, you follow
my orders and only
my orders, got it? Now as you guessed will be handling the more combat heavy parts. the operation, however, will not start for atleast a few days unless something comes up. You can stay here if you wish.
I think I have a spare room.... Oh yes," he extended his hand, "Name's Endris, but you probably know that."
