Also, are you actually considering creating a company? I suggest we keep this totally "unproffessional" so long.. A company needs investment and is a whole different story than a fanbased project.. Of course, if this project bodes well and there is profit to be made then why not, by so far I suggest "FarFallen" is more the team/project name rather than a company name .

This is nonprofessional... earlier on we were discussing about when we go to college and then we were toying with the idea of getting together in the future and create a video game company... but it is not like we are a company right now... this is more like a union... like "Spider Man and His Amazing Friends"... only it is '"Mazelure and frineds"... hahahahaha... just joking...

There is a background... from Mazelure's writing! the demon family has fallen far in the hierachy of the demon world... and our games are going to be based on the demon family so...

I'm almost done with the "template" of our potential website. I've also registered for a webhotel but for personal sake. I will however host the site there if we don't have anything else. But I registered earlier today so the hotel hasn't been setup yet, I hope it will be done today..

EDIT: Alright, here it is: The website. As I've said, it's just a template and not a very proffessional one, but I believe it will suit our needs.

I think FarFallen is a good name. I guess you'd call us an unprofessional company at this point - a bit more serious than a fanbased project. Or maybe similar.

The difference seems to be that we will be our own fans, because it'll be our own original story & original game that we will be working on. Rather than a Bethesda game or any other pre-established game.

Easier for us in one way because we will have more complete imaginative freedom...but much harder by way of the fact that we will be building a gaming world from scratch.

But there are ways and means and I think we are up to it!

Is this a real question?... but I do wonder... why did you put Project bla bla bla?... anyways I think it will be good to put an introduction and some lore about the game in the site... so it wont look so empty... but nothing that hints or reveals the story plot... ok ... I am going to start to pm Ibis more often to see if we can get some characters or monster or anything drawn so we can post it on the website...

Ah, thank you Maz. Well the bla bla parts are just fillouts to see how it would look with text. I didn't have the time today to write something descent down and bla bla was better than a blank page. You could always suggest what to write and I'll add it.

Cool, another race. I suppose you could start thinking on the abilities of the races we have, especially "your" races, i.e. Angels and Demons. Like different classes that uses different types of spell-schools and then what abilities will non-spellcasters have to balance out the spells? etc..

Sure, I can help you with that. I was thinking on creating a race from the scratch but it seems that's what pretty much all of you are doing, so I think it's better if I help you out with your race and then I'll get to other stuff that needs to be done.

I'm thinking, before we have the whole Lore-part ready we could start creating the actual concept of the game, as in how you level, what possibilites will you as a player have? etc. I mean many game creators usually have an "idea" of the end product like what kind of revolutionary approach will the game use.. etc.

Sure I have that... I will type it up and pm it to you tomorrow... but for know I think I am going to chill for a bitt... my hands are hurting ...

Nice looking site but it would've been more professional to put "Currently under construction" or something of the likes rather than lots of blas. And I'm thinking that the question section should've actually included some answers about yourselves and what you stand for.

The actual layout of the site looks great, it appears that you all just need to work on the information there or else any visitors to the site might just think its a joke.

Keep up the great work. As you can imagine I'd really like to see this project succeed, it would just be awesome to be able to see something like this from people I know...well through the forums...but you get what I mean...

Anyways once you get some more information about the actual game and some of its features, I'll try and help you spread the word.

Thank you Kiln for your interest & helpful comments. I'm not sure, but I think that once the site is set up & running, it is probably going to be a closed project for awhile so we all can brainstorm & create together without letting any secrets out too soon.

So if that happens, don't think that we've given up - it'll just be us all getting our heads together & sorting things out.

EDIT - I actually suggest that one of you guys pick up a C++ for dummies book, or Windows Game Programming for Dummies. I got a copy on my shelf, actually got both of them. Got as far as understanding what makes a game tick, and how coding is supposed to work (a giant circle..).

One of your team members should try and learn instead of recruiting an outside force, that way you have more stability and once you have the base team, build up from their and put people under the base.

Little JROTC training there, don't have to many cheifs and not enough indians.

Oh, and for the sake of brevity could I get like a little summary of what you all are doing? I realize you don't want to reveal a story yet, and thats fine. But maybe like a set of united goals you all wish to accomplish?

Channler, thanks for the advice. We are actually sort of counting on the fact that in September DarkHunter is going to be taking game design related classes in high school & that I am probably going to college for Computer Animation relating to game design. So we are hoping to pick up what we will need there.

Windows Game Programming for Dummies sound good ... I was always a "for dummies books" fan since my VolksWagon Owner's Guide for the Compleate Idiot. C++ is awfully expensive, isn't it? I'd love to get my hands on that, but until my financial package comes in, I don't have much money to work with and that money will be for school.

A little summary of what we're doing is = making a game around a story of Mazelure's about Angels & Devils vying for control of a world that has a midground with other races in it.

A set of united goals we'd like to accomplish = Make a smash hit game, outdo Bethesda Softworks in scope & sales, invest in ourselves, become a roaringly rich game development company, put out at least 2 sequel games within 5 years. Buy planes & yatchs - sail & fly all over the world, buying small & medium countries & making them wear funny clothing & dance the way we tell them to ... living NPC's in our own little Game World Network!! Yeeaahhhahaha!!! Power has NOT gone to my head!!

Now seriously though, I think you make a very good point, because our website is just being set up & we haven't actually sat down and made a hard list of the united goals that we all wish to accomplish. I think that will be one of the first things to do when we get organized on the website and aren't just communicating here in posts & by pm. Thanks for the advice.

Yes we are all under serious threat from Mazelure ... not to divulge ... hmmm, better not say anymore.

But really, there is so much to do and I love Konradude's suggestion about C++. I've wanteed that for awhile now. But I'm going in for the animation half of gaming not the programming. At Full Sail, the school I'm hoping to attend, you have to take math & logic tests in order to get into the game design program because that's where all the coding & hex editing & such like is.

Me - I'm better off with art.

Mazelure... when you send updates send the rest of the story (that was before it) with it... Cause I delete after finishing reading/getting insparations from things... Of course I can remeber most of what happened, but if you update I'll probably not be able to fit it together.
