Lord DoomsDay

DoomsDay burst's through the door panting and sweating, rushes over to the bar counter, lines up 4 mugs of coffee, downs the first 3, lowers his head while he's holding the forth in his right hand and starts to spur out a steady stream of curses and profanity's for five minuts.
He turns around, resting his elbow on the bar and looks at the flabergusted (sp?) and slightly blushing costurmers.
What? I spend 6 day's in Doomed One's basement making shoes and you expect me to be wide eyed and bushy tailed?
Btw Doomed One, you should realy consider locking the basement door if you'r gonna keep cheap labor slaves in there, then again I should have checked it the first day. Danm! Six day's of ploting and planing and the door was unlocked this hole time.
O' well, I'm back. Yes you missed me. Yes you love me. Yes you may now Praise me.
DoomsDay walks over to the corner table and joins the old pup in a afternoon slumber.
Aaaahhhhh! Some peace and quite in a brand new coffee shop.
O'h Tellie! Here's a site with lots of mods and hassel free downloads!
*Linkage!!!!*Hope it helps with what you looking for.

I've found the mod now....the only problem is that I must be doing a mistake when I install it, as the textures are messed up, and it wont cone out, so the game chrashes...I'll try to fix it.

http://www.elricm.com/nuke/html/index.php?...opic&p=3359Tellie, I found the above link when I yahoo'd for the battlespire mod. So someone else had similar problems to yours. Maybe the solution the guy below him gives fixes it because he doesn't make anymore entries.
Hope this helps. ... don't mean to insult your intelligence because I only now read the answer and see that you surely already know how to do what he recommends. Oh well, at least it wasn't your mistake since other people have had trouble with the mod.
LordDoomsDay ... welcome to the coffeeshop and thanks for a hassle-free download linkage site. (Did you make me any faux-alligator shoes? shhhhh ... just slide them over, don't tell Doomed. I will slip you a tip personally)

I would sugest that you make a temp folder on your desktop, unzip everything in the temp folder (not drag end drop but with the extract butten and choose the dir in there), the modder will useally have the extra textures, messhes and sound folders in the right dir. structer zipped and you just have to cut and paste in to your Oblivion data folder and choose "Yes" if you are asked if you whant to replace a curent texture folder.
That should work, maybe Trey has a way to resolve it, he's good at these things. ( DoomsDay nudges the sleeping Trey with his elbow)
If all else fails you could try downloading it agian or contact the guy (or girl) that made it and hear if there is any thing else you should do.
Good luck!
Oh' hey, looks like Ibis might have a better sulotion than me, etherway hope you get it working.
DoomsDay sends the pakage over to Ibis's tabel hidden in a heap of doughnuts, with a handbag for minqi that has a extra static free compartment for her hardrives. Hope you like the style ladies.

Ooohh! EEEE! Ahhh!! Squeals of delight erupt from Tellie, Minque and Ibis's table as they sort through the huge pile of doughnuts and see the wonderful stylish surprises. Luckily Doomsday thought of a good cover-up cameoflage for his gifts - so the other disturbed patrons of the little coffeeshop just think that the three are experiencing traumatic sugar rush from the huge pile of doughnuts.
The Doomed One has no clue as to what is transpiring as he is still flirting with several waitresses who are flocking around Pisces. Seeing that he is thus distracted, the three ladies send a generous monetary tip back to Lord Doomsday so that he can not have to live in basements anymore.
I hope Tellie gets that Battlespire mod to work. I'd like to hear about it. And now Milanius is off to work at their new home again, but I'm wondering from the description he gave of the virus attacking his computer if he might have visited the official site forums and gotten it there. I hope they get that problem fixed. I am generally a lurker in their TESCS forums ... I like to read about other people's modding adventures.
(BTW-wasn't that a hot pic of Milanius when he was mad at his dad? I put that on file ...

...and Pisces.....does he have some wine? Ohhhh aye that would be lovely after this first half of a tiresome week with far too much work both at home and at work....
Why are all the girls trying to steal my wine!! I've almost finished it now, only about one more glass left which I will save for tomorrow I think. At least the wine is keeping all the hot female waitresses around, I don't know why but every cafe seems to have hot female waitresses, perhaps I just find female waitresses hot, I know I definitely wouldn't find a male waitress hot.
And Ibis, I would be happy to send the pictures I promised to you and the hot female waitresses...BUT, I look around and what do I find? Nothing! I don't think the camera is home right now, be back on Saterday me hopes, or if it never left then I will know where it is on Saterday.

I look at the donuts and shake my head. Then everyone seems to want wine. Well, several handwaves later and a whole crate filled with bottles of wine (from a good year) is standing right there on the counter. Have fun.
Alright, I just wanted to thank for the link to the mods.

Give some guy 'The Wolf' as a title. Friends could then call him Wolfie.
And my name doesn't have to be in your novel. Jack Cloudy here is already the name of some dude in my own (planned and written but needs to be totally rewritten) novel. He constantly gets beat up by aliens during 'cultural misunderstandings'.

Ugh, Rainer does not look forward to the jet lag.
However, he has pleny of pictures to share.

Jul 15 2006, 02:00 AM
Wooo! Pictures I can't wait to see them!
I completely understand the jet lag too, I went on a trip to France, ended up stuck in the airport for 9 hours waiting for a transfer. It was nearly 2 days where I accumulated about 3 hours of sleep. Fun stuff!
DoomedOne
Jul 15 2006, 08:31 AM
I experience jetlag when transitioning from the timezone of summer to the timezone of school.
So guys, I'm a little confused. There was this girl that I knew in 6th and 7th grade before the vagabond known as yours truly moved away to another place. We were good friends, and I almost asked her out like twice, but was a coward those days, eventually she got back with her old boyfriend, and though she said she would have gone out with me, I was too dumb at the time to take the hint when I had the chance. This was like, 5 years ago. I moved away from that town 4 years ago. She told me before she hated me, most of the kids in that school hated me (I started out popular, and was always popular with my crowd, it's just my crowd shrunk as time went on, self ostracization).
Also, I don't think we had a conversation since that time in the theater group I hijacked the wheelchair and rode it on stage during a performance. Soooo anyway, I moved back in with my mom, and she moved close to my home town, so I go to my home town quite often. I've seen a couple people I knew, one found me on myspace, I found one on myspace and I've been dicking around getting stoned without any harder drugs being around, good times.
Here's the joke, last night my mom and her boyfriend went to this really expensive, compassionate restaurant and the girl I used to be pretty tight with is working there, they got to talking, which is a conversation I'd be dying to get a tape of.
Unfortunately my Mom is incredibly vague. She took speaking lessons from Ronald Reagan. It's like she'll talk to you and 5 minutes later you'll realize she said nothing at all.
So, apparently this girl wants to go to the college I am to attend September (I graduated a year early), and apparently either her or my mom, and I really can't tell which, want me to try and find her on myspace. And apparently she was interested in me, because that's a deep indication of the situation (who isn't interested in someone they haven't seen in 4 years?).
So my main point is I'm confused as of what to do. I was thinking the next time I'm in my home town to stop by that restaurant. Don't get the wrong idea on my feelings, she most likely has a boyfriend and I don't steal girlfriends, (though activity in the past is not necessarily an indication of future actions) but I am a little confused and not sure how I feel, myself. I definitely used to like her a lot, and she's probably still pretty, and she did like me back then... but yeah I'm looking for advice, I'll just say it.
Mazelure
Jul 15 2006, 08:01 PM
Wow... you are in quite the perdicament... if it was up to me (dont take my advise) I would show up and give her the finger!!! But then again that is one of the many reasons why I do not have that many friends in RL... no offense but you guys dont count. So yeah dude... good luck with that.
The Metal Mallet
Jul 15 2006, 08:15 PM
Well what I would suggest, even though my success rate with the women isn't very great itself (I tend to befriend first which then makes attempts to the next level difficult), that you should at least meet her to "catch-up" on things that happened over the last 4 years or whatnot. That way you could find out if she's in a relationship among other things. That's all that really comes to my mind.
Ibis
Jul 16 2006, 12:56 AM
If it was me and I had a choice between meeting in real life or on MySpace first ... I'd choose MySpace. Because if she does have a boyfriend now it'd be less intense than in real life. What if you go to see her at her restaurant and her boyfriend is there waiting to take her home or something?
Also on MySpace you both could say things that seem more private or personal than saying them in a busy crowded restaurant. My advice - but keep in mind I do things the stalking way. lol

Wurlon, you're 14, that makes you in 8th grade right? Parents always say like 17 or some great compassion but I started in 6th grade, then again I was a coward in 6th grade and could never muster ther courage to ask girls out that I liked (see above), my only girlfriends in 6th grade and 7th grade were girls that asked me, as sad as that is. Yeah but seriously, if you have the number of any girl you like you should take her out to lunch or something.

Yes .. I agree with both Danny & Minky here. You do have to make your own self happy first, but finding someone to share with can be a part of that process .. as long as you don't lose yourself to the relationship. *She may be your little princess but always remember "You're the King baby!!"
And as I remind Cain, a man's home is his castle until the queen gets home.

You are at the right age to start dating or at least meeting at parties. We started having boy/girl parties in the 7th grade to brand new Beatle music, if you can believe that. tahahaha
