I still haven't been able to use the riposte mechanic at all. At the beginning of the game when you aim the ballista, the mouse doesn't work and the directions tell you to use it. Arrow keys work however. There are several goofy graphical glitches (hair spazzing out, bodies and items falling through terrain, ect). I wasn't able to hit the escape key once to save, load, go to main menu, exit game, because my character was interacting with a container and another character initiated dialog. I had to get killed (which was easy) to get that functionality back.
Combat's been a frustrating experience, probably because I can't riposte.
There isn't a way to look up the game's controls from within the game.
The story is very good though, and that's what has kept me interested despite how... unfriendly the game has been.

Ouch. I played it on the 360 and had zero issues. Sorry you're having issues because it is a pretty enjoyable game but I probably wouldn't be happy if I was having issues with combat because it is crucial to the gameplay.

Yes, this is unbelievably huge. I don't know whether to think that's a good thing or a bad thing. It's larger than all games that I have on my computer...with one exception, and that's an online game that has had nine years worth of expansions and content patches:
World of Warcraft: 23.1
Oblivion: 5.58
Fallouit 3: 9.93
Fallout: New Vegas: 9.22
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning: 6.61
Skyrim (with approximately 150 mods installed): 13.5

I got it for free and gave it away. It is probably the most shallow "RPG" I have ever played and was a step backwards for the series in my opinion.
If I'd paid a dollar for it I would have felt like I got ripped off.
Also, the replacement of menus in order to create a more real experience ended up making even the most minor tasks tedious and down right annoying.

IMO Fable 2 was a much better game, although it was only mud puddle deep, it still had plenty of customization and was less clunky than the game that followed it. The third installment was a major de-evolution of the series in pretty much every way and served as a reminder of why Peter Molyneux shouldn't be involved in the creation of videogames.

I have been playing a lot of War Thunder. It is an open beta MMO that is free to play. You can pay to play as well, unlocking perks that are unavailable when playing for free. But I stick to the free version, since it is enjoyable enough without opening my wallet.
The game itself is a flight simulator of WWII aerial combat, with plans to add land and sea units as game development moves forward. It should probably be played with a joystick, but plays very well with mouse and keyboard controls. This is what I do because I don't own a joystick. The game's graphics and physics are excellent, making it all the more addicting.
I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys this genre of gaming. I don't know if I am allowed to post the web site for the game here, but you can Google War Thunder and get there easy enough.

Haven't played in a while, but I think my absolute favorite was 141 (?) - the one that was all sand with only a few oddly placed bars of stone (each containing paramecia). Everywhere you walked laid more stone down, and you had to connect to the ones with the paramecia to get to the finish line.
Of course the easiest way to do it is to cover the entire floor in stone so the paramecia just walk around the perimeter. Since that level was untimed I kind of made it a personal challenge to get every bit of sand made to stone before going to the warp pod into the next level. There were a few levels that I liked well enough to play on instead of just getting to the pod (and were untimed so I could set my own rules for that level).
There are about 5 levels I have never been able to pass, had to take the easy way out and let them move me up; it was the only way I could beat the game.

I think I know which one it is, love it too!

And itīs a much lower level than 141. And it wasnīt untimed...
Amongst us three siblings we have gotten up The Catwalk (?) level which is up where your favorite was. (Itīs after Thank you, Tony)
I also liked the level with only a bunch of bombs and a clone machine with fireballs. As itīs untimed I, like you mALX, made my own personal challenges on that level. I tried to clear as many bombs I could but there are some in the corners that you canīt get. At least not without sacrifying the pushable blocks and thus missing out on other bombs. It was so much fun when you made it so the clone machine produced the fireballs very rapidly and the bombs went bambambambambambambambam!

We have never beaten this game though

The Trust Me level I talk about in Chipīs Challenge has several yellow keys but only one you can reach. You just run to the right, go down past the paramecium clone machine (and the button controlling it) and get the key and then you just run back to where you started where also the warp hole is.

It is single player. It has a multiplayer option, I think for home made modules and a few of the expansions. But unlike Wow, it seems to be a case where you only go online with a few of your friends, with one acting as a DM (whose computer acts as the server). Its basically like an old-style pen and paper RPG done with computers. I think it is the same style as Vampire: The Masquerade. Neverwinter Nights is the game that got me into roleplaying. Back in 2002 three games came out, one right after the other: Dungeon Siege in April, Morrowind in May and Neverwinter Nights in June. I liked Dungeon Siege and Morrowind, but neither of them really grabbed me at the time.
I came from a first-person shooter background, so I had no idea what Dungeons & Dragons actually was. I'd heard news stories and watched talk shows back in the 80's (when I still had a TV) about kids who became obsessed with the games. That's the extent of my knowledge about roleplaying games back in 2002. This, from someone who grew up within bicycle-riding distance of Lake Geneva during the very years Gygax was inventing the genre. *embarrassed*
Anyway, NWN arrived on my porch about the time I was losing interest in Morrowind. And I was enthralled. I played for 6 and 8 hours a day. And when I finished I did something I've never done before or since: I immediate started a new game. I loved that game.
I became so fascinated I started ordering anything Dungeons-and-Dragons oriented I could from Amazon dot com. I bought Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale 1 and 2, Temple of Elemental Evil, Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor, and on and on. I started buying fantasy books and watching fantasy movies. It was a really horrible time in my life and all this fantasy kept me sane and alive.
The Morrowind forums were a snake pit of negativity in those days so I spent my online time on the Black Isle and Bioware forums that summer. I gradually began to learn what roleplaying was. I returned to Morrowind when Bethesda announced Tribunal in September. And this time I had some kind of idea what was going on with this game. I liked it a lot more the second time around. I might never have given Morrowind a second chance if it weren't for Neverwinter Nights.
Sorry for the long-winded reminiscence.

Personally I didn't like NWN2. With the sole exception of New Vegas I have not liked a single game Obsidian has ever made (and even then I liked Fallout 3 better than New Vegas).
Obsidian seems to like controlling the player's experience. Their game design philosophy just makes me dig my fingernails into my palms and grit my teeth. What they did to KotOR 2 still makes my blood boil. I hate it when my blood boils. I like to keep the temperature of my blood below 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Of course this is not possible when I'm viewing Youtube videos of Joan Jett, but that's another subject.
ANYWAY! I'm afraid could not make it all the way through NWN2. Things started off on a bad foot with me when the developers forced party members on me until we all reached the city of Neverwinter. Things went further downhill for me when the developers would not let me get out of the city of Neverwinter until I made a horribly cliched "good" or "evil" choice. At that point I was ready to throw the game out the window.
If these kinds of things don't bother a person, the game can probably be enjoyable, I suppose. I also suppose that, technically, NWN2 is a well-made game. You may notice a lack of enthusiasm in those two sentences. That is not an accident.
