"Caldius Irithius. And you?", Cal answered, and looked at the mysterious man called Wred.

"A pleasure, Caldius Irithius," remarked Wred. "I am Wred Halius. I used to work here."

Kyara Morvayn Manor

Kyara hurried up to Leni, grabbing the child and then headed back to Konrad
She put the child on the floor giving her some wooden sticks yto play with

"Sooo" she said, "shall I scrub you now konrad?" she asked smiling warmly taking a piece of sload soap approaching the bathtub..
Konji
Konrad awoke with a start from a small daydream involving him with his sword again. He smiled at her as she took some soap, glancing at Leni as she played. "Are those safe? She may swallow them..." he noted with mild concern, his attention focused on Kyara. "Ah, yes please." he sighed, relaxing as he sat. "So where do you come from?" he asked, brushing some hair away from his eyes.
Kiln
Kiln-Outside of Fort Moonmoth

He was annoyed that his new companion insisted on speaking with the man he considered lower than dirt. Kiln could not stand to see someone betray the legion and wished to get this over with as quickly as possible.

"Alright, enough with the pleasantries. I hope you've slept well with all that you've helped hunt down." Kiln said quite angrily

Kiln gave him a deep piercing glare.

"You betrayed me...everyone...but the worst of it is you've betrayed yourself traitor." Kiln began breathing deeply to calm himself

Akar, unknown cave

Akar woke up suddenly, with a splitting headache. He remembered what happened, and immediately reached behind his back for his sword. He realized that his arms wer tied behind his back, and his sword wasn't there.

"He's awake." a Telvanni soldier said.

Another one stood up and punched Akar in the face. "Where did the ashlanders go."

"I don't know." Akar answered honestly; Hel'Tic apparently hadn't trusted him enough to tell him.

"You were working with them! You have to know!" he said, accenting his statement with a kick into Akar's stomach.

Akar cringed on the floor, and began rolling about in a feeble attempt to help the pain. His legs weren't tied, he realized.

"I really don't know." Akar answered in a quiet voice.

"You will soon." the soldier answered, grabbing Akar by the collar and putting him back upright again.

the dunmer pulled out a dagger and calmly began describing all of the things he would do to him unless he told them the truth.

Akar had a desperate plan forming, so he wasn't listening to the gruesome details.

When the soldier went behind Akar's back to cut off a finger as he promised he would, Akar suddenly lifte his hands up towards the dagger, allowing the blade to cut the ropes that held his hands together.

Suddenly free, he punched the soldier and took the dagger from him. He promtly stabbed it into his heart to finish him off, and stood facing about five more.

"The plan is," En'Fel said as they landed, "You tell him there's a meeting between Ashlanders decide to what should be done, and we'll take him to Urshilaku. I'll go to Urshilaku now so he won't see me and change his mind. Before I go, is there anything you want to know?"

Wred

"I know," Wred said gravely. "You don't have to tell me what I did, I know."

Wred raised his sword over his shoulder. He breathed solemnly and whispered to himself, "I know."

Then he charged.
Ryuku Walker
Cal was shocked at Wred's attack, and drew his blade, and jumped in front of Kiln to block the attack. He barely managed to, and tumbled backwards a few steps. Cal recovered from the blow, and ran up besides Kiln, ready to fight.

"Oh well, I guess it was inevitable.", Cal said, and smirked. "But you're one heck of a fighter, Wred."

"IŽd like to know if my son knows anything about me..anything at all, does he know I exist?"

Serene took a deep breath, staring at EnŽFel, "I approve of your plans" she said, "IŽll do what I can to make this work out, and I hope that you trust me"
Kiln
Kiln-Outside Fort Moonmoth

Kiln was fairly surprised by his decision to charge him. He figured there would be some fear of him within Wred but it seemed that there was not. Many thoughts ran through Kiln's head while the man charged him, the lives lost thanks to this man and the trouble he'd caused for the stragglers.

He stepped forward to meet him half way as the boy stepped in the way. Kiln was afraid he would get killed, he knew just how dangerous Wred was.

Kiln pushed Cal out of the way and readied himself to fight.

"Keep out of the way boy." Kiln said

OOC: Ahhhhhh! the confusion... laugh.gif

Wred was not surprised the kid decided to step in the way. He simply whipped his sword around to act like a bulldozer against Ryuku, which worked in his favor because it meant he was already in a defensive stance against Kiln.

".. Ugh. I'm not watching you get killed. And I can take care of myself pretty good, thank you.", Cal spat out after he got back up from Kiln's push. Cal decided to observe the fight anyway, and stood back. "I'll just wait here until you get killed, Kiln.", Cal said, and grinned.

"Mind your elders, Caldius," Wred remarked. His eyes were on Kiln, waiting for just a hint of movement, the slightest twitch would set him off to pounced. His back leg slowly slid back a little, and he shifted his weight evenly between the two. His sword remained in a forward position, held by both arms pointed diagonally up.
Kiln
Kiln-Outside of Fort Moonmoth

"Keep quiet traitor." Kiln said angrily

He looked at the boy.

"Just stay out of the way for now...I have to take care of this." Kiln commanded

Kiln stepped forward a few feet with his blade tilted slightly as was his personal technique, ready to fight with the traitor. He also watched Cal to be sure he didn't try and interfere again. He moved closer to Wred with a look of hatred filling him.

He was trying to intimidate Wred but apparently he was braver now then when he'd fled from the legion.

Ced opened his eyes, and right away wanted to close them again. His whole body ached, it was near impossible for him too move.

Wasn't he supposed to be dead?

They had tried to kill him, that much was obvious. He painfully moved his head to the side to stare down at the crusted pools of blood on the floor.

That was his blood.

He was glad that his arms were no longer bound, but he couldn't move much anyway. The pain was too much.

He lifted his shaking hand and held it too one of his wounds as he muttered a spell, closing it shut. He proceeded to do this until he was nearly fully healed.

Then he stood up, nearly collapsing as the pain the shot through him as he made his way to the door of his cell. There wasn't a guard on duty.

Not to his surprise the door was unlocked. He pushed it open and exited.

(OOC: Remember, he doesn't know that the magic field had been lifted. He doesn't know he can teleport out.)

"Ok, ok.. I'll just watch intently as you two slash at eachother's throats, then I'll see who dies first.", Cal said and shrugged. He sat down on a rock, and stuck his sword into the ground.

Arneth's based quickend as he came closer to Fort Moonmoth, he was soon joined by one of his scouts as they came up by the dwemer bridge near the ruined Fort. Arneth took a fast sprint up the little hill outside Moonmoth before he could see a Dunmer and (Wred's race?) standing outside having what seemed to be a starting point for a duel. And there looked like there was someone else there too.

Arneth laid down on the rough rock overlooking the situation.

Legionares?

Arneth looked as they started their first actions trying to stab each other. Arneth thought of intefeering but wasn't sure. He would stay hidden until he knew what was going on, he started whispering with the scout what he had seen...

OOC: Night ya'll. If Kiln wins, make Cal tag along, if not, make Cal drag Kiln's body to somewhere safe. Hehe.
Kiln
Kiln-Outside of Fort Moonmoth

Kiln brought up his blade up and blocked the blow easily. He knew not to underestimate his opponent...he'd served with him for a while.

Don't get to cocky. You don't wanna die against this scum.

Kiln carefully stabbed without much strength several times, testing for weaknesses in defense. He was trying to be as careful as possible while he fought him. After a few moments of careful probing, he stabbed violently at Wred's leg, trying to catch him off guard.

Wred
Where do you think?

Wred felt his sword clash, and faced volley of stabs. With each one, he simply shifted his sword to block. Clash after clash, he couldn't get a move in offensively. Finally Kiln went for his leg, and he managed to do a full swing parryng the blade to Kiln's right side, giving him an angle at which to stab. He went for Kiln's pelvis.

Kiln-Ruins of Fort Moonmoth(Getting repetetive isn't it?)

Kiln's eyes widened as the most recent blow made it through his defense. he was thrown off balance and nearly hit, he jumped back just in time for him to miss.

"Why exactly did you choose to align yourself with the houses anyways?" Kiln asked between attempting several hits

He swung carefully, making a point not to kill his opponent until his question was answered but trying to make it seem like he was trying to kill him.

The last thing Wred ever did during a fight was think. He almost went for it, but he knew he would have just caught one in his side had he charged after Kiln after knocking him off balance. He knew how Kiln fought.

"I made a choice," he said, "dishonourable or not, it was my choice to make."

With that, he saw another swing come in. He flipped his blade upwards and shoved forward. The blades clashed on the flat-side, and Wred took the blow in stride, pushing himself against Kiln, trying to knock him to the ground.

Hopefully that teaches you a lesson Ced, don't misuse your gift.

Oh shutup will you, Mara, I get it.

Ced pulled his hood down, and exited the building. However, he soon found himself blocked by two ordinators.

"Hello gentleman. Excuse me but you're blocking my way."
Kiln
Kiln was closer to his opponent then he'd expected to get during this fight. He'd only hoped to get within arm's length...or sword's length. Kiln struggled to push Wred back off of him but was unable.

"I must say, I never expected this from you Wred." Kiln said

Kiln continued to push back but after a short time, he fell to the ground, quickly kicking for the traitor's stomach to try and knock him back enough to allow him to get to his feet.

Serene Ald Daedroth shrine

She went inside the old shrine....searching for her people, there had not been anyone outside so she reckoned they had an assembly or something.

She heard voices from the inner shrine and made her way along the dark corridor until she reached the hall.

There were a handful people sitting around a fireplace made by stone, she recognised Sinnamu Mirpal, the wise woman and also Dutadalk and Yennamu sitting beside her.

Sedrane was walking back and forth, apparently enraged by soething, he spoke with vivid gestures, but the people around the fire seemed absent and bnot paying attention to their ashkan. Sinnamu Mirpal wept silently, tears were running down her face and Serene felt really sorry for her, she once was like a mother for her.

Then she stepped forward, with outstretched arms she walked the few steps towards the fireplace:

"Ahemmussa, I greet you" SereneŽs voice filled the chamber.......Sedrane turned around, his face was enlightened with joy as he saw Serene

"Ah, Serene, what are you doing here?"

Wred managed to push him back to the gate, and into the ruins themselves. When he finally fell, Wred decided to finish it, so he thrust his sword downward...

Wred fell back with his arms in the air. "Gragh!" he bellowed. Stupid mistake on his part.

Akar, Uknown cave

He held his dagger, but what could he possibly do with a dagger against this many people?

He spotted his sword in its scabbard, leaning against the wall, so he sprinted for it.

He grabbed it, and ran oustide of the cave. Making a split-second cecision, he went northeast.

He had no idea where he was, or where he would end up.

The ordinators turned to see the hooded figure, one of them let out a laugh.

"Didn't think we'd leave you entirely unguarded did you, filthy scum" the ordinator said pushing Ced into the wall.

"Just waiting for you to wake up so we could continue. So shall we?"

the man grabbed Ced's hood and began to force him back inside the compound.

Kiln-Inside the ruins of Fort Moonmoth

It was dark inside and the single torch he'd hung earlier dimly lit the room. Kiln rushed to get to his feet and he gripped his sword tightly, ready for another strike from Wred.

He scanned the room carefully, the light wasn't bright and would make a fight here hard. Deep down, Kiln was afraid, though he'd become very good at hiding it, someone that knew him would see through his act of constant bravery and strength.

"You know...I've wondered what happened to you for years...I'm glad the other legionaires you've hunted didn't steal the pleasure of killing you." Kiln said

Inside moonmooth ruins - oooh spookey

Wred attempted to adjust his eyes to the darkness, but he realized quickly Kiln left that spot on the ground. His only source of light was just an ounce of moonlight from the outside, and even then clouds were moving in, blocking the moon out.

He listened carefully, making each foot step as light as possible.

"You make the mistake of taunting me," Wred whispered. "I know you well enough..."

Wred made a swift slash at Kiln's neck, "To know your throat is exactly one inch and a half below your mouth."

Ryan finished his brandy in silence and decided to go to the local Imperial fort to ask the Captain what had happened recently. When he reached Moonmoth he saw two men were fighing with a young boy off the the side watching.

"What's happening here?" Asked Ryan as he drew his axes. "and how could you legonairs let this fort get into such disreapair?"
Kiln
Kiln-Ruins of Fort Moonmoth

Kiln couldn't see what was going on very well. He saw a small glint of light flash in front of him, instinctively, he ducked. His opponent's blade missed barely. Kiln stepped back into the moonlight outside right past the man who was speaking.

"Not now." Kiln said drawing a breath

He kept his blade ready and waited for Wred to come back outside and into the moonlight. Kiln watched the other man who'd just arrived carefully as well, hoping he wasn't one of the house warriors.

Moonmoth Ruins

Wred felt his swing keep going, and assumed he missed. He stopped himself and turned. There were foot steps running outside, and another man that said something he didn't quite catch. Kiln would be ready for him when he left. He had to think of something. The second floor was little more than a pile of stone rubble, but the stairs led up to it well enough. He charged off the second floor, hopping over the three feet of wall that still stood in his way, and descended to the bottom. There, he saw the two men, but hept his eyes on Kiln.

He landed nimbly infront of Kiln with one arm supporting himself on the ground and the other holding his blade. In the next moment he made a hard upswing.
Neck' Thall
"Why "not now"?" Said Ryan sarcasticly. Whay are you fighing any way? And Why is the Fort is such a bad shape?"
Kiln
Kiln-Ruins of Fort Moonmoth

"Just not bloody now!" Kiln yelled as he saw Wred come down and land in front of him

He brought his blade down just in time to block the coming hit. He backed up slowly, keeping an eye on his opponent.

Kiln was glad to be in the light of the moon rather than in the fort. It was a complete gamble fighting in the darkness. He backed up slowly, towards the river, it was some distance but it was a good place to make a stand.

He kept watch of Wred carefully. Kiln knew not to underestimate him, he knew his style long ago but perhaps things had changed.

Wred was on the offensive. He pushed him back harder and harder down the slope until finally he was fighting a down-hill battle, but it wasn't over, Kiln kept his distance. With every clash of swords he pushed Kiln back a little farter until finally the were on the bridge of the River.
Neck' Thall
"Not bloody now" eh?" Saidn Ryan as his hand went to a ring on his finger. "Well how bout now!"

As Ryan said that, he activated his Rings paralization power, hoping that it still worked after so long of unuse.

OOC:Sorry about leaving you other guys behind but there was no other way. Kiln is too far away for your magic neck, follow us and wait until the fight is over if you want to though. It should end soon.

IC: At the bridge, Kiln decided that this was where he would make his final stand. This would end here, he would fight Wred to the death over his past mistakes.

Kiln stopped in the middle of the bridge and held his blade out in the air. The Imperial make was grand, though he hoped no one inside the city would see them fighting. Obviously they would help the house warrior.

"So, you've been reduced to a simple mercenary? How sad." Kiln said taunting Wred

Things will end momentarily...and we will see who is the better fighter.

Kiln readied himself and wished he was wearing a full suit of armor like in the old times. The robe wouldn't protect him much.

Wred stabbed Kiln hard in the guy, forcing him to the ground. He leaned forward, staring, almost offended at himself for what he just did.

"I'm... sorry," he mumbled right before he was kicked.

Into the river he fell, his hand holding onto his father's sword with a tight grip. His legs hit the river bottom but the current shoved him on his back and churned him around until he was disoriented. Somewhere along the way he lost his sword.

No, my sword! I need my sword!

He looked about the river frantically, until finally he saw a bright steel glinted spinning rapidly through the water, right toward his face--

Megil groggily got out of bed. It was about midmorning. He put on an extravagant blue and silver shirt, covering the tatto of new vivec's sigil at the base of his neck. though the clothing was somewhat loose muscles were still defned by it. Megil remained at peak performance despite the fact he did little fighting himself. he strapped the quiver that had been a gift from azura to his back, and fastened an extravagantky decored sword that bore the same sigil as the tattoo on Megil's back. Many thought it simply for decor, but it was quite deadly and masterfully crafted. Megil put on his heavy black leather boots, and then headed out of his room. Darus was still asleep.

He deserves his rest

Megil did not wake him, but instead wrote a note and put it on the door, before heading out the door.

It was yet another gorgeous day in New Vivec. This day would hopefully be a better day than the last day. Megil headed for the prison to check on Ced's condition.

Sergoth, Sedya Neen

Sergoth walked off the old rotting boat, and approached the strangest world he had ever seen. The trees were different, the buildings were odd, and worst off he had to deal with the officials before entering as a bewildered nordic man.

He entered the office from the dockside, and was greeted by a man with only a little white hair left. They talked for a few seconds, and went to business.

It was only minutes before granted access to the giant place he was about to explore : Vvardenfell. What adventures would await him? What could he find in this strange new world? For now, he would take the stilt strider to Balmora to find a good inn to stay in.

After awhile he reached the marvelous town of Balmora, paid his fee , and walked down the steps , and searched for the first person to ask directions from. Almost immediately he was greeted by a nice Argonian female named Hul, who told him of the Eight Plates, the shops in the area and the guilds. Sergoth immediately went to the eight plates, and reserved a room for ten days. He also took off all his nordic armor, hoping no one would steal it and he also left his ebony tower shield on the bed. He then left, hoping to buy a heap of strange, new things from the traders in the area. He locked his room door.
