Osano watched as his armis approached the gates, and as the gate closed on them. He watched the constructs fall into the hidden trenches and ordered them to fall back slightly. He landed by his forces as York came to him. Osano jumped off Slogon and grapped York angrily, "You almost had who? Your orders where to get the damned gate open, not go hunting after glory. Had you been there the blasted thing might be open now!" he pointed towards the shut gate, "Change of plans!"

Osano mounted his dragon once more and pulled York up on with him. Slogon climbed altitude quickly and then began diving back down to earth. The dragon put her feet down to catch the ground and they landed with a large tremor on top of the gate which was now in pieces. Slogon opened her mouth as fire erupted from it burning many of the men protecting the gate. Osano grabbed York's arm and leaped off the dragon and ordered her to circle Ald'Ruhn. He drew his sword...

York was still disoriented by what had happened when he landed inside the walls of the city, he drew his blade and shook off the confusion.

This guy is insane...

He began fighting nearby soldiers but stayed near Osano, to try and figure out what he wanted him to do.

"Osano, what are we doing!?" York yelled as he cut down a few more soldiers

Dantrag
Sel desperately looked around for somewhere to help - everything needed help, it was hard to tell who needed it most.

Then he saw the dragon come down on the gates. He also spotted York and ran after him.
Aki
The Dragon wasn't give the chance to execute Osano's order, at least, not without some serious diffucult.. Both V'anul and Anara leapt on the Dragon after Osano dismounted. Anara drove her Spear into the great beast's hide, while V'anul drove his claws into the Dragon's right eye.

Meanwhile the priests frantically went to work healing those who had survived the dragon's flames. Luckily, many were Dunmer, and their innate flame resistance saved them. Barely.

Fenris rushed to intercept the two Generals, Osano and York. Without them the army would be without a driving force.
ShogunSniper
"We're taking Ald'Ruhn!" Osano yelled back to York. He saw the two werewolves jump on the dragon but ignored them. He also saw Fenris running towards him. Osano sprinted towards the wall--the first prioririty he gave himself. He dragged his sword through archers and mages alike dodging arrows and spells as he ran along the wall, "York attack the archers!" he ordered. He glanced out towards his army when an idea struck. He commanded them to march in a single collumn 3 constructs wide. The ones in the front would pile up in the trench and create a construct bridge for the rest of them.

Serene helped the priests as much as she could.....putting her hands to open wounds, casting healing-spells and also delivered potions......she did not talk nor look around, just healed as fast as she could...

a heavy fog fell around the city of vivec, shrouding everything in a white blanket. Everything was silent, not even the bugs where chirping, the air was thick with tention, waiting for the quiet peace to be shattered, for it could not last for long.

meanwhile in the city of vivec, small battalions of troops left silently out of the city and into the fog, silently moving around and through the attacking army. some assasins making quick work of the undead, befre they could make a sound to alert their presence.

On the otherside of vivec, several small ships that had been kept sheltered in the sewers, left out into the ocean carrying women and children. Even the babes knew to keep silent, their mothers holding them against their bossom. Scared eyes peered into the blind whiteness, as they made their silent and undetectable escape from vivec.

The poison had run its course, and the sylphs had begun to recuperate from the chocking experience that happeed earlier that day. more sylphs had begun to arrive from other parts of vvardenfell and nirn as the word was spread beneath the sea.

York looked around the battlefield and he didn't see Sel anywhere so he obeyed the orders from Osano and headed for the archers nearby. He started to kill the archers as he saw what Osano's army was doing.

Perfect...wish I'd thought of that...

As he continued fighting the archers he looked for Ryan, but quickly dismissed his search and went back to killing the archers.

Fenris broke off Pursuit of Osano. The formation the Constructs had assumed was far too tempting. He ride a minor shout over the gate, landing him a short distance from the Construct column.

Osano, you're a terrible strategist to forget about me He thought as he drew in breath.

He let out one of his more powerful shows, which crushed the first ten rows of constucts of in the column flat, and threw their wreckage into the rest. Domino effect.

Meanwhile, Anara and V'anul continued Attack Slogon, remaining on the Dragon so it couldn't get at them with any ease. The enchantments on Anara's spear, particularly the frost one, were causing the Dragon a deal of damage. V'anul had already gouged out one eye. Dragons did have tough hides, but Werewolves were know for being inordinately strong.

Seeing so many of the constructs fall near the breaching point, York picked up a bow and a few arrows from the dead archers and began to fire arrows with little accuracy at the man causing most of the damage.(Fenris)

Come on...come on.

The goal wasn't to kill him or even hurt him but to distract him from the constructs.
Aki
Fenris didn't even bother, he was distracted long enough to notice York had enough talent in Archery to label him as a non-threat, before turning back to the constructs. Fenris wore his full Nordic mail in any case, so he was fairly certain if York hit, it wouldn't be much of one.

Another shout, more constructs down.
ShogunSniper
Osano jumped off the wall and took cover behind some rubble to regain himself. He looked at the damage done to the town which was very little and stepped out into the open waiting for someone to challenge him.

-----------

Slogon roared and shot fire through the air illumintaing the night sky. She began flapping her wings and very soon was airborn. She flew straight upwards in an attempt to get the werewolves off of her.

OOC: cats always land on there feet but do werewolves? muahaha
Kiln
York knew he couldn't stop him with a bow, he'd just hoped to annoy him into fighting with him. With no success he started to kill more of the soldiers and looked around carefully for any of the important humans in the area.

Commanders and generals were obviously here somewhere but where? Mixed in with the common soldiers below?

Pitiful that these people fight alongside their soldiers...

He continued to stand looking over the battlefield for anyone of importance.
Aki
V'anul struggled to maintain his grip, and dug his claws inbetween Slogon's scales. Anara had a easier time, she just thrust her spear back into the hole she managed to put in Slogon's hide, and dug her claws into it along with the spear.

You asked for it, Anara thought angrily, and began plunging the spear deeper, both getting a better hold, while injuring Slogon further.
Konji
Konrad walked back into the town, finding the Rat in the Pot. He picked up a matze from behind the coutner and popped the cork off, downing it quickly. He went downstairs and sat on the floor quietly, his sword in his lap.
ShogunSniper
Osano noticed Fenris blowing away his constructs and casually walked up behind him, arrows falling around him. He grabbed Fenris' shoulder and spun him around and punched him across the face.

Otik heard cyies of fellow archers and turned only to see York slaughtering them and othe soldiers.

How dare he!? I'll teach that liitle....

Otik aimed for York's back and let the arrow fly. He smiled when the arrow hit it's mark and shoot another arrow in his left so he would fall down*

Fenris stumbled back. For a moment he cursed the open-face of the Nordic mail helmet. He shook his head to clear it, before raising his sword. "Thats it Ash-skin, we're finishing what we starting in Caldera," he swsaid, then swung his sword in a horizontal arc at Osano.
Konji
Konrad sighed, then walked upstairs again. He picked a few botetles of flin up from behind the bar and walked out of the inn again, drinking his 3rd bottle.
Neck' Thall
Ryan managed to fall onto a group of undead instead of constructs and wasn't too badly hurt. He then rushed through the now open gates and saw Konrad coming out of the inn. He remembered him from balmora and did two swift upper cuts with his axe at him.
Konji
Konrad blocked them easily, ust angling his sword downwards. He drew his shield and prepared for a fight, turning his sword in his hand.

"Nice to meet you friend. You do know this place isn't going to fall? Your armies are too small. I give you the option to join our side..but...." he trailed off, shrugging his shoulders slightly.
Neck' Thall
"why would i join you? you and your companions just left me to die at Caldera."Ryan said "you people dont deserve to survive. you aren't supposed to leave a friend behind, though i think i should be more made at Anthanes cuz he was the one who did it."

As he was saying this he was backing away slightly, and then suddenly, in the blink of an eye, all six of his throwing axes were in the air and headed towards Konrad, Ryan close behind.
Konji
Konrad rolled to the right, getting two axes in his shield and one in his left leg. The others bounced off the wall of the inn behind him. He grunted, pulling the axe out and quickly freezing it with his sword and snapping it in two.

He stayed on the defensive, prepared to block any attacks hat came for him.
Kiln
York felt something hit him in the back hard, penetrating his armor deep into the flesh beneath it. He stood for a moment and something hit him again, harder this time. He turned around to see the archer from Sadrith Mora holding a bow, a warm wet stream slid down his back as he stared at the archer.

He's a brave lad...stupid but brave...

York drew his sword and took a few steps, pain shot down his back and he fell to his knees.

"What the..." York sat there on his knees for a few moments and stood slowly walking towards the archer with his blade drawn

York staggered towards him as he spat blood onto the ground in front of him.

OOC: Someone go ahead and kill him...let him die slowly though...no instant kill.
Neck' Thall
Right as Konrade was Snapping one of his axes, Ryan had one axe going to behead him and another to slice off his sword Arm.

"Dodge this!"
Konji
Konrad obliged, bring ing his shield up and moving his arm away. The shield vibrated fiercely. Konrad kept on the defensive, staring the male in the eye.

"Why not go find someone else to fight? I'm not in the fighting mood. And you know what? I won't stop you taking Ald Ruhn either. I'm not bothered about it to be honest, I just want to go back to Cyrodil."
Neck' Thall
"You know what? I dont really care!" Said Ryan as he chopped at Konrad with his axes and followed it with a headbut.t "I'm surprised you dont want to stay here and save allof those sceaming chickens you call soldiers."
ShogunSniper
"Die!" Osano yelled lunging at Fenris, but he withdrew quickly. His gaze was drawn to where York was. He saw two arrows hit him and blood run down his armor. He ran towards York jumping over dead bodies and crushed constructs. "York!" Osano said putting his arm behind York's back to support him as he was falling over, "What happened? Who shot you?!" He looke around and spotted Otik, but ignored him. "How bad is it York, will you live?"
Channler
"Tis a beautiful land, isn't it Abulard?"
The elderly Redguard, slightly puzzled by the out of place comment slowly answered, "You are correct in saying that good master. But.." He hesitated for a moment, "..but shouldn't we be planning the next assault on Vivic?"
"Lest not hurry plans that are beyond our completion. Besides, I haven't the power to end this, only Arcyakt does." Alton launched a passionate stare unto the lands. "When I grow old, this is were I want to live. Or even possibly among the hosts of Vivic itself."
"If it is your will, may I speak what is burdening my mind?"
The general looked around for a moment, "You are among friends Abulard, speak, with the all the conviction you desire"

"I do not think it is wise to have such thoughts, you are a General under Arcyakt. What would he deal to you if he knew such things?"
"Abulard, Abulard, Abulard.. What if I didn't think such things? I should lose my humanity if I did, and end up as one of those useless constructs that do not make desicions on there own." Alton unholstered his sword and lay it by his tent, "I, in my youth, was a pawn of the empire, just another soldier in the great nothings of brutality. And, I actually enjoyed it. The sight, the smell, feelings, everything of battle I lusted over. Everything that was taught to to me at the academy, was forgotten, and replaced by desires of battle. In the sense, I was a true warrior. One with utmost conviction in his cause, and would give his life for anything deemed noble."

Abulard interjected, "My lord, you are of great power, why speak of such things as a... burden?"
"Why? Because all of it has led me here. It has led me to serve a power hungry Mage, turn on the few that I once called friends, and led me to leading a army composed of machines and dead-men" He shuffled his feet a bit as he stood peering out into the camp. Or what camp machines would need.
"All of this, I wish for none of this any more."
"My lord?!"
"Yes?"
"You can't"
"Ahh, but I will".

"I don't know you and You aren't part of this, go fight with Fernis or Sel this filth is mine! He's killd one to many of my fellow archers and this time he bit off more then he could chew, and I am going to finish this hear and now. Otik kicked off York's helm, pulled back an arrow and pointed it at Osano "Now you can leave or suffer the same fate as your friend here."

(OOC: YAY! I got one tongue.gif you really want to die kiln?

Osano stood and took a step closer to Otik, "So shoot me."

OOC: *gasp*

(dum dum dum! Yeah a touching story but I had to think of something tongue.gif)

Otik stood there for a second and then smiled. Otik swiped at Osano's feet and watched as the soldier fell to the ground. "So I will give you one more chance. Leave this to me and York, or I will shoot you" still aiming at the man's chest and stepped away waiting for the man to speak or any sudden moves.
ShogunSniper
Osano stood back up slowly and picked up his sword, "York is my ally, my comrade, my friend. You will not kill him," he looked around at the current situation; the constructs had recovered from Fenris' shouts and were now once again fighting at the entrance to the town. Slogon was nowhere to be seen in the night sky. Osano stepped towards Otik once more, "Leave him or die," he finished flatly.

OOC: otik's arrow will proably penetrate through osano's eh...protection, but it won't kill him--thats for another time
Soulseeker3.0
Otik sighed, he loosed his arrow and watched as it pounded into Osano's flesh and saw some blood spurt. Otik alreay had another on his bow as he started to back away and started aiming(not that he needed to at this range *shrug*)

ooc: sorry aki I will edit if this conflicts
ShogunSniper
Osano looked at the arrow that had struck him, he pulled it out of his chest and examined the blood on it before crushing it to pieces, "You'll regret that," he took three quick steps towards Otik once more and swung downward on his head.

OOC: osano no longer wheres armor

Time to end this Anara thought to herself as she peeled back the flesh of the wound, enabling her to get a good look inside Slogon's insides. She was coated in the Dragon's blood, but she didn't care, and part of her enjoyed it. She hefted the spear.

There. Hope this works.

Anara thrust the Admantium spear at the great dragon's heart. While V'anul simply held on for dear life.

Meanwhile, on the ground, Fenris had returned to destroying Constructs, seeing that they had recovered.

Otiik put up his bow and watched as the sword harmlessly ricoshaid(so?) off of his bow and thought

dang it I will have to repair this bigtime when this is over

Otik pulled out his hunting dagger and threw it at Osano's side and Shot another arrow a second later and jumped up onto a building, waiting for his next move

(ooc hey shogun, I will be leaving later to go bowling sorry, still on but just as a heads up)
ShogunSniper
The hunting knife hit Osano but bounced off. Osano anticipated the arrow and somehow managed to reflect it with his sword; he then looked up.

----------

Slogon screeched in the air and began diving down towards Ald'Ruhn. The dragon struck [that big building that all the civilians are holed up in, i think] and caused the roof to cave in. A final bellow of fire erupted from the dust that had filled the air, then silence.

-----------

Osano turned his attention back to Otik and jumped up to the building he had gone on to; but he landed hard on his knee and coughed up blood. Osano looked at the arrow wound, it had not healed as smoothly as expected probably because of all of the moving around. He staggered to his feet and readied his sword but his vision had gotten blury. He also got a bit dizzy and fell from the roof top he was on and staggered to his feet. He looked up to the roof, Otik hadn't followed him so he forgot about him and concentrated on other matters.

Anara moaned, pulling herself from the wreckage. Having been mostly inside Slogon for the killing blow, she wasn't too bladly injured. She felt multiple minor cuts from fragments of the Skarr, deep enough to bleed, but nothing too bad. She felt more than a few bruises however, perhaps a broken bone. They'd heal soon enough, however. She looked down on Slogon, the Dragon was almost certainly dead. The final bellow of flame had been the Dragon's final pained breath.

---

V'anul was less fortunate. As Slogon had neared the Skarr he had jumped off, knowing that he'd sustain less damage hitting the ground after leaping off the dragon than if he went with the dragon into the Skarr. He had landed rather roughly in the ash near the Skar. Both his legs burned with pain, no doubt broken. He pulled himself under the cover of a broken chunk of the skarr's roof that had fell outwards. He howled in responsce to Anara. Ah..son of a umbrella seller... he looked at his right leg, he could clearly see the white of bone sticking through the blood soaked flesh. Note to self - carry healing potions next time.

---

The Damage to the inside of the Skarr itself was massive, the small spire in the Skarr, and the walkways attacted to it were crushed. Llethri manor was heavily damage, Sarethi manor was mostly crushed, Arobar manor sustained moderate damage, as did the other manors, but those had sustained their damage mostly from the bellow of flame. The entrance hall of the Redoran Council hall had caved in. Unfortunatly, the Council hall was were the Civillians had been packed in. The supplies had been left out in the Skarr, and were crushed. As were the Redoran soldiers who had been guarding the supplies and acting as sentries in the walkways. In case anyone broke into the Skarr.

"Damnit!" Miner Arobar cursed, striking his sword against the rubble. "We're trapped."

The Guards with him traded unsure glances. "Which means if the battle isn't won..."

"We'll likely be stuck here and starve to death. Yes," was Arobar's reply.

---

"By Kyne..." Fenris said, watching the crash, distracted for a moment. He couldn't do anything however, and he knew it. He focused on the task at hand. Destroying the Dwemer Constructs.
Red
OOC: Neck, You understand when you walked through the rubble of the gate, you walked through about three hundred grenadiers, archers and soldiers? Also, are there any constructs still remaining that were crossing the construct bridge?

ShogunSniper
OOC: as far as i'm concerned they are still marching into ald'ruhn over the construct bridge but they're running thin.................coughdantragcougharcyaktcough
Red
OOC: Ok, thanks for the help.

Shakur watched the construct bridge form and watched as the now few constructs crossed. Shakur wasn't about to let them march straight into Ald'Ruhn. Shakur had his archers fire upon the constructs that had made it through the breach that still were alive, and soon group A rejoined him and group B. He had the few priests and men that could heal cure the burned soldiers and took his grenadiers and half of his melee force to the bridge. The melee force made contact with the constructs that had already crossed and were doing well and the grenadiers attacked at the construct bridge, bringing much of it down. They retreated back to Ald'Ruhn and got back into position.
ShogunSniper
Osano's wound had healed up mostly by now, but he still felt woozy. He had lost quite a bit of blood and felt tired; as if he hadn't slept in four days--which was probably the case. He sat down in the shadows by a building, too tired to stand, he downed the last of his water and sighed. Where the hell are you Arcyakt? He was beginning to lose faith in his leader.
Dantrag
Sel stopped his chasing of York when he saw the Skar collapse. Wasn't Celia in there healing? He oculdn't get there through the wall of constructs, but he would get there...

He began slashing at more of the monsters as they neared him.

Mage

Arcyakt looked at Vivec, the proud city that made its home on the water. Soon it would make its home in the water Arcyakt thought with a smile.

He didn't want to destroy a city that was so important in the economy, but he was now forced to take drastic measures.

He lifted his hands in the act of spellcasting, and by the time he put them down, the remaining cantons of Vivec were now in tiny pieces, quickly sinking to the bottom.

"Alton!" Arcyakt called. "We are done here. Let the survivors swim to shore, we make our way to Ald-ruhn."

He resurrected the constructs that needed it and teleported them all, himself, and Alton to the outskirts of Ald-ruhn.

He looked around for Osano, hoping for a report of some kind, until he heard Osano in his head.

I'm here now. Arcyakt replied as he busied himself with resurrecting the fallen constructs inside and outside of the gates.

OOC: sorry megil, but it had to be done.
Red
OOC: I personnaly thought destroying Vivec was completely unnecissery, as was destroying the first canton.
ShogunSniper
Osano stood up quickly and looked around. Destroyed constructs were rebuilding themselves and dead soldiers were now rising to their feet. Arcyakt! Good to see you again. Now that the army has been rebuilt Ald'Ruhn will fall swiftly. The roof of the Skarr(sp?) has fallen and Slogon along with it. And York, I think he is...

OOC: I'm off for tonight

OOC: Oh, I see. Ok, remember not to bring back every single construct though, many of them where completely destroyed due to well place mines and well thrown grenades. Also, I think we're keeping the breached wall blocked with the frozen constructs.
