Wait, here's an idea, how about we're members of high influence and we all fight to become the elected governor of Sentinel. How about that for depth? It has politics, campaign trails, the oregon trail, everyone is the hero and a bad guy and it will create well writen, enormous, long winded paragraphs and speeches.

uh.... imo it's not quite as fun if everyone is like fighting against eachother.

I think closer numbers of bad guys and good guys would be a very good idea, I hate being outnumbered...

And Anti-heroes as well. Which is good guys that just dont wanna be a hero.

I say that the new RP picks up from the last RP (AMU), so that we can continue with one thing that has happened in it. The Emopire's gone to hell and is falling apart. The Emperor's dead. Etc.

So, perhaps the Empire splinters into factions all vying for the throne...

Or, maybe it managed to come back together because this time the Emperor had a rightful heir, and we do something else.

Hm.

Maybe..a diplomatic/exploration expedition to Akavir, which is known to be hostile to Tamriel, and try to get them to join the Empire, of course...not all of them would agree.

Or maybe a grand trerasure hunt to find the fabeled 'Eye Of Argonia'! Which susposedly is the key to a lost argonian city. Being that its so vague, we can work in lots of twists and such. And Dungeon crawls with traps and stuff.

not trying to seem mean...but it may be better to finish the current one before we plan a future one. (isn't there already a thread like this anyway?)

I'm just joking, who would want to play "A campaign trail unleashed"? Anyways, a the Emporer died storyline could work, especially if one of the characters was the heir.

great ideas. though the whole factions thing, would need a lot of RPers, unless we just want to have long single posts explaining what each of our factions is doing and the occasional spar between them.

Not killing Dagoth Ur, bu something like the story of how the Nerevar was put in jail before he fought Dagoth, which gives us a lot of room for creativity. It was just an idea though, not what I saw should be final.

Or we could be a band of mercs doing random missions, and suddenly bumping into the main plot, without wanting to, but seeing how profitable it would be. Etc etc.

Or just be guar farmers.

Actually, not having a main plot until later into the RP could turn out very well Ryuku. It worked for Napoleon Dynamite. On the Guar side, we could always fit those lovable monsters in.

I really like the Akavir and treasure hunt ideas, though I really do not like the politics and factions thing. Not my cup of tea (I do not like tea, either), as the saying goes.

hmm a tavrn would be a good starting points, but would we all just meet by chance o fate? or will there be some links involved.

Well, we could all meet in that tavern without even knowing each other yet, or even meet in the tavern through two or three days. Heck, only a few characters have to meet there, so you could meet some of the characters in a guar farm if you wanted. I still like tavern though, I thilnk that idea would be the best starting of all.

it could st6art like some book i've read one char is walking to a tavern (yes I know we've practially desided on the tavern idea) and then one char meets up with the first and then so one, and then later a couple come in and then they are all at the tavern and they disscus what happened sense the last time they met or something....

You could have heard about this kind of thing, because it's a typical RPG thing, not just in books. The taverns are the best place for rumours, get-togethers, and talks about quests and stuff.

Yeah, many people start things in taverns, RPs, D&D quests, fights.

Aye. Many an adventure, brawl, or e'en marriage has found its origin in a tavern.

also we all don't have to start out as strangers to eachother. some of us can already be siblings, friends, spouses before the beginning or the rp.

Okay, how about this, we're all maried to eachother, including the evil people! It'll be like the odd couple, except more odd, consisting of about thirteen men and women, and actually funny.

We can extend it so its not just two eyars but mayb 5 or even a decade after the current RP. That way Serene and Jona will be married and have kiddies O.o and mayb Sel and Celia will marry lol and even if they aren'tt eh chars the people play with, they can make an appearance

I like 5 years, therefore we will all be totally going our seperate ways the ones who went off alone.

Also, don't forget to have yur final post in this RP about what happens afterwards.
